The article presents the author's views on the growth in the media industry in 2014 in Canada. He opines that community papers, which were forecast to grow in 2013 is one potential positive in print media. He comments that as connectivity becomes increasingly pervasive in all of lives, video and particularly mobile investment are expected to continue to post huge gains of 25%-30% per year.
