The studies show that individual elements of a vessel component that are subjected to variable-repeated loads may be destroyed even at lower voltages than any other calculated component (unit). This problem is particularly important for the dynamically developing direction of unmanned navigation, which operation may be carried out with a reduced crew, in its absence – both remotely and autonomously. Conditions of cyclic variable loads in corrosive media also play an important role with a total number of operation cycles, which may reach many millions over the entire operation period. It should be noted that the statistics show that about 80% of accidents in maritime transport are caused by fatigue effects. This paper is devoted to the development of software that is able to predict fatigue failure of units and structures. Current discussions of art documentation and examination focus on improving the artifact documentation and examination process, constructing databases, applying new technology, and conducting technical training of staff. For curators, museum collections, private collectors, artifact surveyors, and art gallery workers, documentation and examination are a critical stage in the process of archiving, exhibiting, conserving, and repairing artwork. Workers understand the function of documentation and examination, but not all workers understand these processes’ value and purpose. Apart from revealing the current condition of artifacts, what is the real value and purpose of artifact documentation and the examination process? This research considers the international and domestic projects completed by the conservation center of Cheng Shiu university and explores problems arising in the documentation and examination process for curation, art exhibitions, and collaboration with other museums, along with resolutions provided by the process. This research also examines the key roles played by the documentation and examination process in those cases. This paper emphasizes the importance of the documentation and examination process; moreover, this paper’s study of real cases demonstrates the practical applications of the documentation and examination process.

This article mainly introduces BP neural network method and hill climbing algorithm. This paper uses BP neural network method to analyze the application of artificial intelligence technology in the teaching of mechanical education courses in colleges and universities, and establishes a potential mathematical model of BP neural network method. The model is solved by BP neural network method, and the current situation analysis and application status of the teaching mode of mechanical education courses in colleges and universities are analyzed, and the model is revised using historical data to improve the application research of artificial intelligence technology in the teaching of mechanical education courses in colleges and universities Accuracy. The experimental results of this paper show that the BP neural network method has increased the effect of artificial intelligence technology in the teaching of mechanical education courses in colleges and universities by 33%. Architectural projects, carried out by the public sector in Iraq using traditional methods suffer from lots of problems such as the inaccurate estimation of time and cost, and the poor cooperation among project team members. To tackle these problems, it is important to benefit from the experiences of the pioneering countries in this field such as the UK and USA. These countries kept pace with digital development and established new systems in construction, namely Building Information Modelling (BIM). This paper investigates the similarities and differences between the BIM standards and guidelines in the UK and USA. The findings of this comparative analysis can build a knowledge base for establishing BIM standards in Iraq. The paper identified the similar aspects to be adopted in the Iraqi standard of BIM, such as the design techniques, the designers’ roles and responsibilities, and some aspects in the information management. In addition, their differences are distinguished, which indicate the specificity of BIM application in each country. For the different aspects, the Iraqi BIM standard can either adopt the descriptions of the UK or USA such as the method of structuring design data, or reflect the Iraqi specificity such as the national library of BIM.

Gammon India limited is one of the leading tower companies with exposure in extra high voltage transmission line and distribution projects since 1984. They have in-house facility for design, testing and tower manufacturing capacity (110,000 TPA) and have supplied towers/structure over 6, 00,000 metric tons including 87,000 metric tons to different countries. They are ISO certified for design, testing, manufacturing and turnkey projects. The various types of cranes utilized in transmission Tower Company like goliath or gantry crane, electrical overhead travelling crane and hydra (JCB) to shift unprocessed materials, semi-process and end products from one station to another station. The goliath/gantry cranes are placed in unprocessed and processed yard and it is used to transfer unprocessed materials from raw yard to different machine in machine shop-1 and machine shp-2 also it transfer end products from steel yard to different automobile vehicles like box truck, recreational vehicle, camper etc. The high breakdown occurs in goliath/gantry cranes due to breakage of supply current trolley cable, so high maintenance and production cost is involved and after every two years supply current trolley cable is replaced by new one. In this paper an entire though is given as regards how to optimize breakdown and production loss by implementing bus-bar/current collector system on gantry/goliath crane. The current collector or bus-bar system is employed to provide three phase current to different motors of gantry/goliath crane. This paper presents evolving a maintenance optimization of gantry/goliath crane in supply current cable trolley system.

This paper provides a concept for developing inverters for high power aircraft brushless motors. It should be noted that such devices have an increased number of safety solutions, stable rotor synchronization parameters, and an increased number of isolated hardware nodes. The main result of this study is an engine motor controller with a power of up to 60 kW with control through optical fiber, liquid cooling, completely isolated power and control circuits, overcurrent, inverter and motor temperature protection, synchronization by Hall sensors. This paper also contains the calculation of the cost of introducing such solutions into a typical inverter.

The existing quality detection methods of business expansion digital archives have the problem of fuzzy evaluation standard, which leads to low classification accuracy. This paper designs a quality detection method of business expansion Digital Archives based on artificial intelligence technology. The business characteristics of business development are extracted, the minimum business data unit is described, the digital archive catalogue database is established, the digital archive evaluation standard is defined, the text similarity is calculated, the user model is established, and the quality inspection mode is established by using artificial intelligence technology. Experimental results: the average classification accuracy of the designed method based on artificial intelligence technology and the other two quality detection methods is 55.763, 43.560 and 42.605, which proves that the quality detection method based on artificial intelligence technology has higher use value.

Children between the ages of 6 and 14 spend much of their day in school classrooms, where they are exposed to only a fraction of the daylight quantities typical for natural outdoor conditions. This paper examines unilaterally and bilaterally illuminated classrooms in terms of quantitative and qualitative requirements for daylighting in classrooms during both winter and summer. The results of measurements and simulations pointed out the advantages of bilaterally illuminated classrooms when compared to unilaterally illuminated ones. In winter, the windows placed on two opposite walls provide a significantly higher uniformity of daylight. In summer, in addition to the improved uniformity, this window arrangement offers higher variability in shading strategies, resulting in greater availability of daylight and better visual comfort. These factors can potentially prevent or limit the development of myopia.

Currently, one of the important problems for domestic energy is the replacement of an outdated fleet of equipment at substations of electric power systems (EPS). The paper addressed the issue of upgrading the "Ice" substation in part of the selection of switches, checking the reliability of switches and the reliability of the substation in general. The substation characteristic is given, the changes in the main scheme of the substation electrical connections are substantiated, switches for all substation voltages are selected according to the current short circuit currents. To assess the degree of reliability of the selected switches, the substation is determined by their probability of refusal. Based on the assessment of the likelihood of failures and other equipment for the substation, the estimated time of trouble-free operation was determined, the average time of trouble-free operation and the average substation recovery time.

Future wind turbines require flexible and economically affordable product development processes to obtain reliable and validated new concepts for larger wind turbines. Pitch bearings and gearboxes are considered critical components, due to their high contribution to the operational costs of wind farms and their high failure rates. Within the Horizon 2020 project INNTERESTING (Innovative Future-Proof Testing Methods for Reliable Critical Components in Wind Turbines) new concepts and technologies concerning two critical components are being developed for future wind turbines. Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment (LCSA) is applied iteratively to gain insights in the more demanding requirements for future wind turbines, specifically on the reduction of capital and operational expenditures and improvement of the environmental and socio-economic performance aspects of wind turbines in order to reduce the economic, environmental and social impact of the newly developed technologies. This paper focusses on the results of the first LCSA iteration for the business-as-usual reference scenarios which will serve as a benchmark and reference for the newly to be developed solutions in the project.

The rudder blade is an important power plant of the ship. Removing damage and failure is the premise of the normal operation of the ship. In this paper, the numerical calculation method is used, combined with K-ɛ (k-epsilon model) and S-A (spalart allmaras) turbulence model, the underwater working conditions of ship rudder blade are analyzed, and the influence of water flow impact at different angles of attack on the damage failure of rudder blade components is discussed. The simulation results show that when the ship is sailing at constant speed, with the change of water attack angle, the main distribution range of rudder blade stress deviates, and the lift and resistance of rudder blade are also gradually increasing, which is easy to damage the parts with concentrated stress. It has theoretical guiding significance for the protection and repair of rudder blade damage.

Constructing digital twin of physical entity and analyzing twin data, and transfer learning method can be used to transfer the characteristics of twin to physical entity for analysis. This paper mainly studies the application of digital twinning technology in the energy and power industry. Aiming at the energy saving and control problem of building energy demand terminal, the fuzzy adaptive PID control algorithm is used to simulate the indoor HVAC system and lighting system, so as to solve the indoor temperature and illumination intensity are greatly affected by the weather, time-varying and unpredictable factors. By comparing with the conventional PID, we can see that the fuzzy adaptive PID controller adjusts faster, the output duty ratio is more accurate, and can achieve better control effect.

Energy efficiency measures (EEMs) and their impact on the thermal performance of buildings as well as on the user's thermal comfort, have become the focus of several studies. Bioclimatic strategies can contribute to improving thermal performance while increasing indoor thermal comfort for users. This paper aims to verify the bioclimatic potential of two types of dwellings in three Brazilian cities. The first one is the baseline, with basic construction systems. The other includes EEMs. The method consists of the verification of bioclimatic potential by psychometric charts for indoor and outdoor conditions. The results show significant indoor discomfort caused by heat in both dwellings—thermal comfort conditions during more than 95% of annual hours in Manaus, and during 85% in São Paulo. Therefore, energy efficiency strategies such as shading, ventilation and HVAC systems are necessary to promote thermal comfort conditions in hot climates.

The paper focuses on the design of an electric driven bicycle that can stimulate power using solar energy and the rear wheel is provided with motor. The vehicle is being designed to house one driver; essentially, there would be need for additional space for other passengers and materials In India, the pollution rate caused by fuel-consuming vehicles is very high. It is necessary to reduce the consumption of fuel/use of fuel consumption vehicle and its hazardous emissions. The sunny weather in India lasts around 9 months, hence solar powered bicycle seems to be appropriate in India. Solar powered bicycle can become an alternative to the fuel consuming bikes and scooters.

This paper analyzes the change of brake torque during normal stop and emergency braking of elevator. Taking the permanent magnet synchronous elevator traction machine as an example, the mechanical characteristics of the brake wheel and brake shoe on the brake under emergency braking are analyzed. According to the finite element analysis and calculation results, the impact and stress of the elevator are the largest at the moment of emergency braking, reaching 270.3MPa, and the strain increases gradually. The analysis results can provide reference for the design and verification of brake wheel and brake shoe of elevator traction machine.
