With the development of dynamic traffic information acquisition and communication technology, as well as the establishment of the traffic information sharing mechanism and the development of related technique, how to carry on the management to the magnanimous transportation data and face the specific application of the specific demand, extracts the related data, becomes the key link of making full use of transportation data. To a great extent, regional road network traffic capacity is restricted in the bottleneck section capacity. Therefore, effective method of bottleneck section recognition is very important. With the theory of information granules, this paper firstly constructs kinds of traffic information granules, then set up the information table based on space and time, and, proposes an algorithm, kinds of information table expresses is discovered by the algorithm. Finally this paper proves that the algorithm is feasible by analyzing an example.
