Aim: A case of schizophrenia which matches classical descriptions given by the creator of the term somatopsychic schizophrenia (M. Bornsztajn) Case: A male patient aged 46, suffering from recurring physical symptoms without any organic disease, the significant loss of weight, cachexia (BMI 14) accompanied by mental symptoms such as suicidal ideation and insomnia.
