Bevacizumab is a monoclonal antibody against vascular endothelial growth factor that exerts antitumor effect by preventing tumor angiogenesis. Gastrointestinal fistula is a common side effect of bevacizumab in combination with radiotherapy. This case of rectovaginal fistula indicates that the side effect may be unpredictable by the conventional dose‐volume parameters for the rectum.

Granulocyte‐colony stimulating factor‐producing uterine cervical cancer is a rare aggressive disease, which may be genetically distinct from other uterine cervical cancers.

Cutaneous metastasis of solid malignancies can cause severe disfigurement, which reduces quality of life (QOL). This case indicates potential utility of photon radiotherapy for this disease, leading to recovery of QOL.

Key Clinical Message Leptomeningeal metastasis (LM) of uterine cervical cancer is extremely rare. A 54‐year‐old woman with uterine cervical cancer treated with surgery and radiotherapy developed LM manifesting as ptosis 17 years later. Although rare, LM should be considered in patients with a history of uterine cervical cancer presenting with cranial nerve symptoms.

Key Clinical Message Interstitial pneumonia (IP) sometimes precedes collagen vascular disease (CVD) onset. A patient with bladder cancer and mild IP received pelvic irradiation and experienced unexpectedly severe urinary toxicity followed by polymyositis onset and fatal IP exacerbation. Careful observation for “alarm adverse effects” of radiotherapy in IP patients may help predicting CVD onset.
