The ability to manipulate microlaser is highly desirable towards high-performance optoelectronic devices. Here we demonstrate feasible mode manipulation of Fabry-Pérot type microlasers of a perovskite nanowire via incorporation of single gold nanoparticles. The influences of resonant wavelength, quality factor and emission directions are successively investigated using a two-dimensional finite-difference time-domain method. It is found that blueshift of resonant wavelength could be achieved together with either promoted or degraded quality factor of microlaser via single Au NPs with varied sizes. Unidirectional emission could also be realized that is favorable for on-chip integration. Our results provide useful reference for feasible manipulation of light-matter interactions and mode selection.
