The article provides information on the economic trends including the increase in commodity prices and the exchange rate in Canada. The world trade goods' inflation has generated a resource boom in the country, which has been attached relatively to the Canadian-U.S. exchange rate. The case stemmed from the integration of China which affected the productivity growth in the global manufacturing sector. Other structural shifts in the Canadian economy are also explored.
