The article presents a study related to the economic trends between 1987 and 2005 and self-employment in the unincorporated sector in Canada. It discusses the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of unincorporated enterprises and corporations and the cumulative growth of Canadian economy based on the type of business. It is stated that incorporated self-employment grew during the years unlike the unincorporated self-employed.
