The article presents the author's opinion on how technologies such as the Apple iPad computer tablet and electronic book readers will influence the book publishing industry's advertising. He believes that the technologies offer the publishing industry a chance to reimagine its books and business models. Also investigated is how the technologies will offer publishers an opportunity at advertising subsidy.
