The article offers information on a research regarding the role of chicken parvovirus (CHpv) in the infection of young broiler chickens, with induced runting-stunting syndrome. It reports that the research observed the enteric disease infection in two-day-old broiler chickens which led to the occurrence of Runting-stunting syndrome (RSS). It informs about the presence of parvovirus-positive cells in the duodenum of inoculated birds which was revealed by the Immunohistochemistry staining process. It states that RSS in broilers induces by the CHpv and it is also an important determinant in the etiology of enteric diseases of poultry.
