After the Fukushima Daichii accidents, Taiwan Power Company developed a strategy to cope with such extended SBO (Station Blackout) cases at nuclear power plants, which called URG. The MAAP and PCTRAN were used to perform the study for Kuosheng BWR/6 nuclear power plant (NPP) ultimate response guideline (URG). The main actions of URG are the depressurization and low pressure water injection of the reactor and the venting of the containment. This study focuses to confirm the URG efficiency. The analysis results depict that following the URG, the fuel can be covered by the coolant, no exposure. It can also prevent the radiation release and the large evacuation. It indicated that Kuosheng NPP was at the safe situation. It shows that the two-step depressurizations can extend the time of the preparation of alternate water source. The minimum injection rate to prevent the fuel to expose is 192 gpm in MAAP.

Based on the model of electric direct drive motor, the development of a steering loading system is presented, and the effect of the rotation speed and system rigidity on the surplus torque of a certain steering loading system is analyzed. Compromising system rigidity is needed both to buffer the surplus torque caused by target motion and to maintain system bandwidth and responsibility.

An explicit finite element method which is combined with the Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) algorithm is applied to forecast slamming loads during the structure entries into the water. By adjusting the contact parameter, the result of slamming force is improved and this result is compared with the corresponding experimental values to verify the numerical prediction method of slamming loads. By simulating the wedge into the water at a constant speed and evenly variable speed, the effect of the impact velocity on local slamming pressure and global slamming force is studied.

For a holonomic system with variable mass, the conformal invariance and the conserved quantity of Mei symmetry of Appell equations are investigated. First, by the infinitesimal one-parameter transformation group and the infinitesimal generator vector, the Mei symmetry and the conformal invariance of differential equations of motion for Appell equations in a holonomic system with variable mass are defined, and the determining equation of Mei symmetry and conformal invariance for Appell equations in a holonomic system with variable mass are given. Then, the Mei-conserved quantity corresponding to the system is derived by means of the structure equation to which the gauge function satisfies. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the application of the result.

Based on the comprehensive analysis about the hydrogeological condition, ecological environment, and the characteristics of geological environment, energy is devoted to constructing a function evaluation indicator system of shallow groundwater with Jinjiang regional characteristic in the light of the assessment indicator system proposed in technical requirement for function evaluation and zoning of shallow groundwater issued by ministry of Land and resources. By dint of expert’s knowledge and experience, efforts are spent in assigning different weight values to the indicators, classifying function evaluation grading standards, and putting forward a secondary function zoning rating system. Besides, focus is put on building a comprehensive function evaluation model of shallow groundwater by means of analytic hierarchy process based on the constructed assessment indicator system of shallow groundwater. In order to guarantee assessment accuracy, the studied region is split into regular discrete grid for the purpose of calculating the comprehensive assessment index of grid unit. Meanwhile, based on GIS’ spatial analysis function, a research is conducted on the overall function zoning map of the shallow groundwater in the studied region to accurately reveal its spatial distribution and exploitation and provide scientific basis for groundwater management.

With the development of grating displacement sensors towards higher precision and higher speed of dynamic responses, the traditional design structure is hard to solve the processing difficulty of the increasing number of poles for time grating sensors. In order to realize the analysis on the internal magnetic field distribution of high precision displacement sensor, the unequal pitch grating displacement sensor with two phase model is established using Ansoft Maxwell simulation environment. The feasibility of the two unequal pitch grating displacement sensor and magnetic field simulation are performed based on the proposed sensor model. In addition the detailed synthetic method is proposed for the simulation data. The analysis show the feasibility of the unequal pitch grating displacement sensor with two phase. The proposed displacement sensor decreases the difficulties of machining process technology and increase the pole number. As the result, the measuring precision is improved.

Analysis on potential problems as well as solutions of DC/DC communication power supply. In addition, inductive research has been conducted regarding DC system’s configuration, wiring, power supply mode and nominal voltage selection of existing substations to provide valuable reference for the design of DC system of substations in future.

In the process of comprehensively evaluating multi-object and making decision, the evaluation method is an important factor that leads the evaluation results. In this paper, we discuss a subjective and objective comprehensive evaluation method based on AHP and rough set, by using which, the weight is determined and the comprehensive weight of the attribute is calculated. Then the data is analyzed by weighted method to obtain the overall ordering results. Finally, we analyze practical examples by the implemented program and verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Selcal (selective calling) controller, as intermediate equipment between selcal and radio station, is designed to achieve the software automation and remote control in aviation. The whole system adopts msp-430 microcontroller as hardware core and C language as the method of software realization. This paper focuses on hardware connection and design to introduce the electrical design and software flow of selcal controller.

The microstructure and mechanical properties of the continuous annealing DP590 steel produced by a cold rolled plant were studied by utilizing a Gleeble thermal simulator tested machine. The results show that, increasing annealing temperature can not effectively improve the martensite content in the steel and annealing temperature be set at 780 °C and 800 °C is rational. Martensite decomposition at high overaging temperature will decrease tensile strength of the samples. As the overaging temperature sets at 250 °C ~ 300 °C, the samples could achieve tensile strength more than 600 MPa, which meet the requirements of DP590.

This paper concentrates the carrier aircraft sortie generation evaluation problem. Based on the analysis of aircraft sortie process, we construct a Markov queueing network based aircraft sortie evaluation model, which contains the whole evaluation system and details. Finally, a simulation experiment is given to test our method and model, and simulation result proves its veracity and can be used to provide suggestion to commanders.

PEG-modified GoldMag nanoparticles (PMGN) were synthesized and characterized by TEM and it showed that the size of the composite nanoparticles is range of 50 nm and its saturation magnetization (Ms) was 34 emu/g with zero remanence on the magnetization loop, which was lower than that of GoldMag nanoparticles (42 emu/g). The drug loading rates of PGMN loaded Tubeimoside-2 were 4.11, 11.58 and 11.6 % at the concentration of 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3 mg/ml. The drug loading rates of PGMN marked high than that of GoldMag particles. Our results suggest that PMGN would be developed as a new magnetic targeted drug carrier.

Real-time measurement system possesses high real-time demand which multithreading technology can largely satisfy, because multithreading technology can implement many tasks at the same time and make largely use of the multiprocessor unique advantages. A timing component is developed in order to achieve the synchronization between measuring system and external devices. The function of timing system, as well as the data switching driver based on twin port RAM and interrupt response driver developed by using DDK (Driver Development Kit), are introduced in this paper. The timing component has been used to ensure the synchronization between measurement system and vessel devices, and successfully applied in angular distortion measurement systems. By using the self-collimating collimator, the reflex light-tube and other devices installed on deck, the bi-dimensional dynamic distortion can be achieved by the video interpretation system. The video interpretation system incepts two video signals coming from two CCD of photoelectric self-collimation parallel optic equipment. Real-time video image processing and interpretation, as well as dynamic miss distance are achieved by using concurrent working mode, and the relative distortion of vessel can be obtained by combining the two measurement results.

A new real-time angular distortion measurement system, composed of devices i.e. the photoelectrical auto-collimating collimator and the reflex light-tube installed on deck, is developed in this paper. Real-time measurement of vessel's bi-dimensional angular distortion is achieved by using this computer control system. Two video signals of photoelectrical auto-collimating collimators are received by the computer control system, and real-time image processing is done to obtain the dynamic miss distance. This paper developed a model for urban rail transit lines construction schedule based on cumulative prospect theory. Firstly, six typical influencing factors of urban rail transit construction schedule were proposed and analyzed. Secondly, the decision matrix was build and standardized. In addition, the prospect value function was defined based on the cumulative prospect theory and gray correlation analysis, and an optimization model was constructed. Thirdly, the optimal weight vector was solved and the construction schedule was determined. Finally, a case study of Xian rail transit was conducted to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the model.

To improve the ability of aircraft sortie generation, we propose a genetic method to model the aircraft spotting allocation optimal problem, and transform it to a constrained optimal problem. Sortie path and time from parking spot to catapult are calculated by pseudospectral method, and then the genetic algorithm is given in detail. Finally, an aircraft sortie scenario is given to prove our method. Simulation results testify our method satisfies the requirement of scheduling optimal and can help commanders on flight deck to control aircraft spot allocation.

Currently Augmented Reality (AR) simply based on natural features is not efficient. In this paper, we propose a novel simple method of AR registration using Oriented FAST and Rotated BRIEF (ORB) features and Kanade-Lucas-Tracker (KLT) tracking algorithm. First we extract ORB natural features from a reference image and the first video frame. Select the matching points using appropriate Hamming distance and Random Sample Consensus (RANSAC) algorithm. Then we track the matched ORB features of the next video frames with an updating KLT strategy. Finally we calculate and determine the camera pose using the matched feature point sets. Our experiments show that, in the cases of different scales, different angles, some changes in ambient light, complex backgrounds or part of the reference image blocked, our AR system performs well to track and position accurately. And the processing speed of our system approximately meets the requirement of real-time system.

In this paper, a novel method for hull's three-dimensional angle measurement is presented. For the measurement of the transverse twist angle, a method based on moire fringe is proposed, for the lengthways flexibility and course flexibility angle the conventional optical sensor method is applied. The principle of the measurement is discussed in detail. To verify the accuracy of the proposed method, both static and dynamic experiments are carried out. Results show that in the static states, the accuracy for them are smaller than 5", in the dynamic states, the accuracy for them are smaller than 10". (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Digital CR of head and neck overcomes the disadvantage of regular X-ray radiography, which can not reveal bone and soft tissue position deficiency in one exposing, and reduces the X-ray radiation dose. Meanwhile, various factors cause the decline of image quality, and images must be enhanced in order to meet demands of doctor's clinical diagnosis. The general enhancement algorithms don’t consider body's structure differences and density characteristics. A new adaptive CR enhancement algorithm was proposed in this article, and head and neck CR images were processed with this method and compared with linear unsharp masking method. The experiment proves that the details of CR image enhanced were abundant and enhanced CR image had good visual effect, SNR was high, as well as detail variance /background variance (DV/BV) indicating that this algorithm is suitable for head and neck CR medical images

Digital CR medicine radiation image is in doctor’s favor and has became medicine imaging technology new hot spot because of its high gray contrast、powerful computer disposal function、little radiation dosage、non-film diagnosis、different area consultation. But degradation of digital X-ray medical image such as low contrast and blurring during radiographic imaging, caused by complexity of body tissue and effects of X-ray scattering and electrical noise etc., can worsen the results of analysis and diagnosis. So it is usually needed that CR medicine image is enhanced to improve its vision quality, and easy to doctor’s more accurate diagnosis. The general enhancement algorithms over enhancing the contrast and lose image details, aiming at the defects, an enhancement algorithm for CR image is proposed based on the ratio of deviation to mean of domain. The arithmetic enhance CR image edge details by adjusting factor K based on the ratio of deviation to mean of domain of CR image. Experiment results demonstrate that the algorithm enhances CR image detail and CR image enhanced has good visual effect, the adaptive enhancement method is fit for CR medicine image.

According to sensibility and output accuracy is effected by mechanical coupling of positive and negative piezoelectricity films, analysis change of vibration beam nodes which result from coupling of positive and negative piezoelectricity films. In this paper, a new mosaic method of mechanical coupling is proposed which based on structure of the vibration beam gyroscope; the numerical calculations which result from carrying out for 60mm alloyed vibration beam illustrate the sensitivity of the Vibrating-beam Piezoelectricity Gyroscope improved 6.64%. Simulation results demonstrate sensitivity is increased 6.57% and in line with the theoretical calculations.

China University of Geosciences (Beijing) has developed a dynamic compaction and compaction grouting (DCCG) method for groundwater flow control in Dalian. This method has been proven effective in dramatically reducing permeability in plain fill soil, and in granular or porous media. It has been successful used in many applications dealing with deep pit by coast. This paper presents the DCCG that has particular relevance in today’s pit construction marketplace by coast. Permeability can be improved by means of the DCCG. A brief introduction to the technique is followed by discussion of recent advances, illustrated by case studies of applications

Seeing that there are some unsafe factors in the process of ATM using,an ATM automatic identification system with extend functions was developed. As human face features are unique, face detection is added to the ATM as a method of authentication. Since face detection is a primary link of face recognition, our system adopts AdaBoost algorithm which is based on face detection. Experiment results demonstrated that the computing time of face detection using this algorithm is about 70ms, and the single and multiple human faces can be effectively measured under well environment, which meets the demand of the system.

Biometric identification technology deals with the identification of individuals based on their biological or human behavioral characteristics. Biometric identification method is reliable, anti-counterfeit, convenient and safe. At present there are some insecurity factors in the ATM (automatic teller machine) in bank system. Methods such as combining biological recognition with the ATM machine, adding the face recognition technology, fingerprint recognition, second generation ID card recognition, enhancing automatic identification are developed to improve the security of ATM.
