In this study results are displayed on research carried out by the Chair of School Politics and Legislation since 2016 at the Faculty of Human Sciences of the National University of La Pampa. Aimed at understanding secondary school teachers' appropriation of the Comprehensive Sex Education Program (National Law 26150), the research was focused on the identification of the tensions between the requirements of the law and its actual implementation through the professional responses deployed by the educational actors in charge of its enactment. In this context, responses are sought to the question on the ways in which gender perspective is present in the teaching practices of both male and female teachers in secondary education in La Pampa. The meanings that teachers attribute to gender perspective in their pedagogical positionings are also explored, together with an analysis on how their practices are inscribed in the broader institutional contexts in which they work.
