The primary focus of this study is a novel home-automation-based assistance gadget for the elderly. Using the Arduino IDE and a Wi-Fi module (10 examples) and a Bluetooth-based approach (10 samples) to create a novel assistive gadget for the elderly. G power=0.8 is the value determined for the study's parameter. By providing inputs using the Blynk mobile app, the wi-fi module will then send a signal to a relay, which will then operate the desired home appliances. When p is less than 0.05, it's significant. Devices using a wi-fi module have an average range of 35.10 metres, while those using Bluetooth have an average range of 25.00 metres. It's safe to say that the mean distance of the wi-fi based gadget is much greater than that of the bluetooth based device. Using the blynk app and the wi-fi module, you may command a wide variety of household gadgets simply by entering command codes. The gadgets that use Wi-Fi modules have shown to be much more effective than their Bluetooth counterparts. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
