Author presents a study of transverse momentum dependent(TMD) factorization formalism to investigate three dimensional spin structure of a proton. In this study we focus on evolution of collinear partons (quarks and gluons) distribution functions (PDFs) and Fragmentaion functions (FFs) to their evolved TMD versions. We present a review of quantum chromodynamics (QCD) factorization formalism which represents a formulation to calculate the cross section for QCD hard process like Drell-Yan (DY). In this study we present a framework of TMD factorization which allows PDFs and FFs to depend on intrinsic transverse momentum in addition to usaul momentum fractions. This study leads to understand a nautural and advanced step in the investigation of nucleon structure in an exapansion of our current picture by imaging the proton in both momentum and impact parameter space.
