This paper discusses a data acquisition system (DAQ) development of a low-cost health monitoring system for a person with suspected COVID-19, named CovWatch. The system's design is based on the overall function of the CovWatch and the design requirements for low-cost and widely available devices that support extensive data collection using IoT. Two phases of the development process started from a DAQ of a single smartphone collecting data from a single smartband (point-to-point device) to a DAQ of a single smartphone for multiple smartbands (multipoint-to-point device) data. Changes in the system adopted the clinical protocol needs from self-isolation to inpatient care. Each type of data acquisition device (DAD) has a unique DAQ that requires customizing the data acquisition tools. This paper emphasized reporting each customization process. It involves analyzing the validity, reliability, and limitation of the DAD so that the CovWatch shall function according to the design requirements. From this paper, we know that CovWatch can acquire, collect, and send heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, and blood pressure data from 1-4 patients every 62 seconds with a data acquisition's success rate of 99.04%. Cryptography is a concept to protect information and communication from adversaries through the use of codes. Graph theory is ultimately the study of graphs. In this paper we are using cryptographic technique together with graph labeling to protect our message being hacked by any adversaries as well as safeguarding the communication. This paper proposes an enriched technique of coding a message based on Polybius cipher and permutation cipher for the regular graph using product edge labeling techniques. The resulting cipher text is forwarded to the receiver in a structure of cipher graph which admits our proposed edge labeling. The receiver, thus decrypts the edge labels using secret keys shared by the sender. Here we make use of symmetric key cryptosystem as we perform both encryption and decryption using the same key. The Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM) is one of the research methods used in obtaining experts' consensus on specific issues. FDM is a combination of the Delphi method and fuzzy theories. Although there are benefits of using FDM, but literature review on its application in the domain of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) is still insufficient. Thus, this paper provided a review on FDM, including its application in the HCI domain. This paper begins with presenting a background on methods, discussing its benefits and weaknesses, comparing between the Delphi method and FDM, as well as steps in FDM. Several articles between 2015 and 2021 were reviewed. The study also examined FDM application in HCI in terms of field domain, number of experts, and data collection. This paper revealed FDM as one of the methods to obtain expert group consensus using a new construct of model or evaluation framework for user experience, augmented reality, usability, mobile applications, and online learning domain. Claim for loss and expense is one of the popular claims in construction since it usually occurs when the regular progress of the works was delayed. However, there is always a dispute happened regarding this claim. Resolving disputes can be expensive and time-consuming. Hence, this paper aimed to evaluate contractual issues on loss and expense claims in the Malaysian construction industry. This paper examines the causes of issues arising in the claim for loss and expense. The data collection for the research methodology was through documentary analysis which is based on litigation cases. Findings show the most causes of issues in the claimfor loss and expense that lead to the dispute are due to three main causes which are contractual, documentation, and procedure. Equipment for data acquisition for photogrammetry is significantly cheaper than equipment for 3D laser scanning. However, the process of data acquisition for photogrammetry can be a time-consuming process that may be necessary to measure for many reasons. Among these reasons belong the cost estimation or potential process optimization. The process of data acquisition for the creation of 3D models of an existing building using photogrammetry can be decomposed into many particular activities. Some of the activities are obvious, such as taking photos using a camera or taking photos using a drone, and some of the activities are less obvious and become evident after the analysis that requires observation of more instances of the data acquisition process. Each particular activity of the data acquisition process requires time resources, and it can be expected that the amount of time required can be influenced by many aspects. These can be characteristics of the building of which the 3D model will be created, the experience of the person who performs the activity, weather conditions, etc. To reveal the influences on the time resource requirements for the particular activities of the data acquisition process, several instances of the process activities must be measured, and the data of these measurements must be stored for further analyses. To store measured data about particular activities of the data acquisition process, the data structure must be designed. This data structure must be able to store the measured required time of particular data acquisition activities and also the aspects that may influence the time resource requirements for particular data acquisition activities. As part of this project, optical data collect locally and historically significant states of the chapel in Horní Nivy were collected using aerial and ground digital photogrammetry. The obtained data are subsequently analyzed for the needs of creating a virtual model. Data are generated from individual photographs as a point cloud. With regard to the parameters of the object, the data are captured partly from the ground using a camera and partly from the air using a camera mounted on a drone. The paper aimed the detecting of the security and privacy issues for the comparison of Innovative 6LoWPAN header and IP header and finding the accuracy rate to find in advance. Materials and Methods:Two groups are used in the proposed endeavour to discover privacy-related solutions. Group 1 was the 6Low pan Header and Group2 was IP Header. A sample size calculation was made. Ten samples per group and ten samples overall were found to have a significance value of p=0.602 Sig (2-tailed). To determine the accuracy, the IP Header and the enhanced Innovative 6LoWPAN Header were compared. Results and Discussion: The Google Collab carried performed data collection in order to execute outcomes and assess the efficacy of specified algorithms. The Innovative 6Low pan Header produces high accuracy with 90% whereas the IP Header gives 70% of accuracy. In this study, the current IP Header and the enhanced Innovative 6LoWPAN Header were compared. The use of the open source software platform of DSpace is proposed to build up the repository application and provide access to digital resources including research papers, dissertations, administrative documents, educational material, etc. Also the use of owl ontologies is proposed for indexing and accessing the various, heterogeneous items stored in the repository. Customization and operation of a platform for the selection and use of terms or parts of similar existing owl ontologies is also described. This study identifies the factors that contribute to the students' English language proficiency among Malaysian Institute of Information Technology (MIIT) undergraduates. It further explores the impacts of the undergraduates' language proficiency towards their academic performance. A quantitative and non-experimental approach were used for data collection purposes where data were collected through online questionnaire. There were 116 participants from Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) MIIT undergraduates involved in this study. Data analyses were made using inferential and descriptive statistical analyses. Statistical analyses revealed that the undergraduates' academic achievement was influenced by their attitude towards the use of English and their high school English performance. In contrast, the findings indicated that the undergraduates' residency did not contribute to their English language proficiency. It was also indicated that there was a significant difference between the undergraduates' level of English Language Proficiency based on their academic achievement. In brief, the findings of this study provide useful insights on how undergraduates' English language proficiency is influenced by many external factors that eventually affect their academic performance. It is crucial to be proficient in English language so that not only students are able to perform excellently in school but also in tertiary institutions. After all, graduates who are proficient in English will be in demand specially to cater the need to work in the English medium environment. One of the parameter to determine the performance of data reception is to know the G/T value (gain-to-noise temperature) of the receiving antenna. As a receiver, the noise in the antenna must be smaller than the gain value of the antenna. In this paper, the software is made to determine the G/T of a receiving antenna. This software is made so that the value of G/T can be known without making direct measurements and as a method of anticipation if the antenna component used for measurement is damaged. This software also saves the antenna power and the time needed to find out the value of G/T. In this study also performed a comparison of the G/T value in clear sky, cloudy and, rainy environmental conditions to determine the value of G/T in each condition. Then, a comparison is made between the G/T value of the software results with direct measurement. G/T values have a difference of 0.25 - 0.37 dB/K from measurements under normal conditions. The Internet of Things (IoT) is the new hot trend in computer science and information technology. IoT devices collect different types of data through a diversity of sensors. Today IoT data is very much valuable. There are two types of data transmission requirements - real-time or batch. Usually, the IoT data is unstructured and the IoT devices from different manufacturers format the data in different ways. This should be considered when the data is received in the cloud to transform it into a unified format to facilitate its further storage, processing, and analysis. Aquatic mapping or bathymetric mapping in small and shallow waterbodies is a challenging task using conventional bathymetric surveying techniques. In this paper, a small scale multi-hulled watercraft equipped with navigational sensors is developed for autonomous in situ bathymetric data collection using a single beam echosounder (SBES) has been produced. This paper describes the methodology in the integration of existing bathymetric mapping technology into a small scaled autonomous watercraft. The watercraft is designed using hydrodynamic principles and simulation-based optimization process. The result of the study is the design of a watercraft hull form that provides a stable platform for bathymetric mapping in shallow waterbodies less than 100 m deep and waterflow velocities of less than 3 m/s. . Utility infrastructure assets in the United States continue to grow as millions of utility features were installed within the properties of state and local agencies. With this growth, the management of the utility data records is becoming a complex problem in terms of large amounts of data. On one hand, management of data for utility infrastructures is extremely valuable to state and local agencies because the timely access to utility-related information is a significant requirement for the delivery of construction and renovation projects on time and within budget. On the other hand, many challenges arise, such as difficulties in effective data storage of complex and messy datasets, data analysis, and data visualization. Utility owners face challenges in collecting utility data in standardized formats, data storage, and providing easy access to all stakeholders. Using a case study in Nevada, this paper demonstrates how tools and a strategic workflow process can be harnessed to develop an end-to-end management solution for large and complex data of a utility infrastructure. This end-to-end utility data management solution builds upon existing systems which are not adequate for large utility data management because they are non-scalable, do not allow for access by multiple users, involve manual data uploads, do not control consistency of data attributes, and lack visualization tools for non-GIS experts. In addition, they do not provide an end-to-end data management pipeline from data acquisition, through data integration, quality control, storage and finally to data access. The developed system in this case study was used for an end-to-end management test of large data during the testing phase and proved to perform seamlessly. Our approach could be adopted by other utility jurisdictions to manage their utility data. Such a data management system allows for automated and proper management of utility data thereby helping state and local agencies reduce utility conflicts and offset construction costs due to utility damages. Named Data Networking (NDN) is an alternative Internet architecture suggested to solve the problem of identifying data containers by connecting all of the world's computing devices. In this paper, we provide an overview of how to use the TCP/IP protocol for networking and data acquisition, as well as how to use the Named Data Network protocol and the proposed procedure for calling data. As a result, when transferring data, we ensure that each individual receives the correct data at the right time and that the data cannot be accessed by a third party outside of the network. Department of Youth, Sports, and Tourism (DISPOPAR) Bontang City is a government organization that runs its roles and functions in 3 main sectors: youth, sports, and tourism. The tourism sector plays a role in mapping, managing, and collecting tourism data and disseminating tourism information. The tourist data collection process is carried out by dividing tourism sector employees into survey groups to map and conduct tourist visits to collect tourist data. Tourist data is filled in using paper in a form, compiled as a DISPOPAR archive, and reported in an excel file. In addition, the lack of media to deliver information on events and promotions and search for information on tourist attractions and hotels makes it difficult for tourists. Impacts significant funds and resources use, data loss, difficulty accessing data, lack of information about events and promotions, and loss of public trust in DISPOPAR. That way, DISPOPAR Bontang City requires a tourism information system to help solve data management problems and delivery of tourism information as well as support tourism development in Bontang City. Prioritized Information Fusion Algorithm (PIFA) was introduced to cater the problem of fuzzy fusion information (FFI) in decision-making problems. However, in the existing approach, at most only two criteria were considered in the computation with specific operators. This will limit its application for solving real decision-making problems and a lack of consideration in a larger number of criteria will produce a less favorable result. An addition of multi-subcriteria into the minor sub-criteria in FFI will be a significant improvement to the algorithm. In this paper, the said improvement is carried out to the PIFA with the use of similarity measures and T-operators. The similarity measure acts as a tool to find the level of similarity between two fuzzy numbers while the t-operators act as an aggregation instrument to aggregate a collection of data from multiple inputs to yield a single output. Two types of similarity measure which are the set-theoretic and the distance-based similarity measures are used with the T-operators of the algebraic product and Gassert's T-operator was utilized. Deterioration of environment by high acoustic load is evident especially in urban areas with heavy traffic, industrial areas or near to the airports. Therefore, it is among others important to improve acoustic properties of building materials in order to ensure good conditions for living in areas close to the sources of acoustic noise. The very first necessary step of such enhancement lies in identification of materials acoustic properties and successive modeling of materials behavior under the defined acoustic load. High acoustic attenuation of construction elements is typically achieved by high amount of pores present in material matrix and can be further improved by convenient volumetric content and geometry of incorporated voids that are optionally filled up by bulk materials in order to scatter and attenuate acoustic waves. Brick is a very popular and therefore widely used building material in Central Europe. Therefore, its acoustic properties needs to be experimentally identified or predicted by a convenient model. The paper deals with the functional nodes' design Industrial IoT. The main attention is paid to the embedded data collection devices development features, which are used to receive, process and transmit data from various sensors. On a mobile service robot example, the motion sensors processing data features (incremental encoders) mounted on independent wheels are considered. According to the sensor readings, the independent wheels angular velocities are calculated, and the calculations' results are transmitted to the mobile service robot control system on-board computer. General control is provided by the Robot Operating System (ROS). The design implements speed measurement three methods, based on the real-time operating system FreeRTOS. Recommendations are given for a control program development for receiving data on the robot control system side for the ROS software platform in the Debian OC environment. The three methods experimental studies results for measuring the angular velocity are analysed and experiment statistical processing is performed to select the method with the lowest error for measuring the optical encoder shaft rotation speed. It is also very difficult for variables selection methods, such as lasso, for example, to deal with situations of high correlations between the variables under study. In this paper, we propose to use the elastic net for a confirmed independent assay with the Cox proportional hazard model to address the high correlations and then select the important variables influencing the model. Making the city center physically accessible is crucial to ensure that everyone has equitable access to the city center for various reasons. There should be no discriminatory practices restricting anyone from participating in society. Numerous studies, however, reveal that persons with disabilities (PWD) have fewer opportunities to engage in built environment activities than non-disabled individuals owing to the inaccessible design of buildings, public spaces and transportation services. Despite the fact that PWD's inclusion is tied to physical space, little effort has been made to explore PWD's lived experience in reaching the city center by using different transportation options. The purpose of this paper is to illustrate a go-along interview as one of the key data collection methods for examining barriers faced by PWD in using various transportation modes in Klang Valley. This qualitative study involves twenty go-along interviews with mobility-impaired travelers to learn about their actual experiences traveling using land transportation from around Klang Valley to Kuala Lumpur city center. Mobility-impaired travelers, notably wheelchair users, still need help to reach their destination with the current transportation services. In general, the use of transportation in Klang Valley has several issues, such as the lack of transportation-related facilities and lack of safety concerns from the service providers. Wheel drive electronics is a control module for a brushless direct current motor of a reaction wheel. A reaction wheel is primarily used by a spacecraft for three-axis attitude control. This paper discusses designing and implementing a graphical user interface-based data acquisition software for the wheel drive electronics. The data acquisition software is implemented on the Windows 10 operating system and takes a memory space up to 130 MB at a resting state. This graphical user interface is equipped with several features, including project management, automated data acquisition, plotting, and dynamical system analysis. The data acquisition software is tested using a custom-made wheel drive electronics and ARM- based microcontroller as the data acquisition hardware. This paper deals with the design of a drive system of traversing mechanism used to position the pitot tube in desired position of the jet flow field. In this system a stepper motor is driven by a 'dual H bridge' motor driver and programmed Arduino microcontroller. The stepper motor is made to move in precise steps to obtain desired movement of the traversing mechanism. The jet flow is characterized in three distinct zones - initial zone, transition zone and developed zone. Each zone can be divided into required number of segments based on variation of velocity. By assigning number of segments, step range and number of steps in each segment as inputs, it is possible to collect data in all the flow zones according to our programmed schedule. This paper designed a remote monitoring system based on Bee Zig wireless sensor network and GPS positioning, according to the characteristics of cold chain logistics. The system consisted of the ZigBee network, gateway and monitoring center. ZigBee network temperature acquisition modules and GPS positioning acquisition module were responsible for data collection, and then send the data to the host computer through the GPRS network and Internet to realize remote monitoring of vehicle with functions of login permissions, temperature display, latitude and longitude display, historical data, real-time alarm and so on. Purpose: The aim of this research paper is to study market trends in the design of short-term incentive programs in the business process operations side of the Indian IT/ITes companies and determining its effect on the motivation level and productivity of the workforce. Design/Methodology/Approach: In this research, qualitative data is collected to take the variables as input. The mode of data collection is surveying the target group by questionnaires via mail panels/forms. The survey enquires the respondents about the perceived impact of the existing short-term incentive plans on their overall productivity. Findings: The study shows that effective implementation of short-term incentive programs positively impacts employee motivation and hence enhances the overall productivity of the organization. Practical Implications/Limitations: This study will help organizations in designing/revising their short-term incentive programs to increase their effectiveness. This paper presents the results of a data collection effort, allowing to assess the overall environmental impact of the air bending process using the CO2PE!-Methodology. First the different modes of the air bending process are investigated, including both productive and non-productive modes. In particular consumption of electric power is recorded for the different modes. Subsequently, time studies allow determining the importance of productive and nonproductive modes of the involved process. The study demonstrates that the influence of standby losses can be substantial. In addition to life cycle analysis, in depth process analysis also provides insight in achievable environmental impact reducing measures towards machine tool builders and eco-design recommendations for product developers.
