This paper demonstrates the Electronic Medicine Compiler Box for the convenience of users or patients, especially for the elderly to take medicine according to the prescribed schedule. When several medications have to be taken at different times, mistakes often occur. This Electronic Medicine Organizer Box is developed using GSM and Arduino Uno modules where the buzzer will sound if the medicine has not been taken at the specified time and it will send a message to the mobile phone when the medicine has been taken. The Telegram bot is also developed to remind users about the cleanliness of the box. The function of this electronic box has been verified and it was found that it works as intended. In 21st century people are habituated with using all kind of smart devices. Many researchers have been done in last decade to make the human life more comfortable and convenient. Smart devices play a vital role to ensure the comfort to our daily life and simultaneously it makes the system more energy efficient and accurate. In this paper the smart IoT based washing machine source of the supply comprises with three different segments: 1. Conventional power source, 2. Solar power, 3. Battery back-up that's why the prototype is named as Tribrid. The washing machine can consume electrical power for all the time whenever it requires. So, this prototype can easily solve the problem of interruption in power supply. Now, to make the motor more energy efficient brushless dc motor (BLDC) is used instead of using the conventional motor, this reduces the power consumption of the device when it is connected to the supply main. Application of Internet of Thing (IoT) makes the device smart. That means this prototype can be controlled or monitor from the remote location. The prototype is light in weight so it is portable too; this helps the consumer to move the device from any end of the house to anywhere. Electric motors are one of the more environmentally friendly transportation alternatives, which can be a problem solution to reduce pollution. Besides that, electric motors have become a necessity in the future. Opportunities to accelerate automotive electrification come from motorcycles. Motorcycles are not as complicated as developing electric cars. In this paper, the C-70 bike is a preferred target for driving force because it has a slim body, a lightweight, is not too large construction, and is still fashionable. In this paper, some steps are being taken to its manufacture. The first one, calculating the required electric motor power requirements. The second, to design and assembly the C-70 motorcycle frame with BLDC dynamo. The third is the C-70 motorcycle performance test inside and outside the Town, and the last one, the C-70 motorcycle painting as the final process. The electric motor's design results can cover 49 km with an average speed of 30-40 km/hour while out of Town with roads up and down mountains. At the same time, this electric motor can cover 50.23 km with an average speed of 30-40 km/hour from a fully charged battery condition in urban areas. So that's roughly 97.5 per cent of the distance travelled within the Town. So, this electric motor is more suitable in urban areas because there are many places to charge the battery, and it is more efficient to use when inside the Town. Besides that, the process of assessing the battery in this electric motor design takes 4 hours 30 minutes from the battery condition 0% (0 Volt) to 100% (81.5 Volt). For handling in automated (robot-based) assembly processes, different gripper solutions are often required for different parts or process steps. In addition, introducing a new grasping solution can also be a time-consuming job. Previous solutions use e.g. specialized tool changing systems where the entire gripper system is exchanged to handle the variations of different parts, shapes and geometries. However, these systems are expensive and require an entire magazine of complete gripper systems. Therefore, in this paper we present a flexible, easy and cost-efficient fingertip exchange system. In this way, only one gripper is needed, as it can be used for many different fingertips. The system consists of a mechanical fingertip changing system, which can be installed on different (user-specific) gripper systems. In addition, we introduce a Parametrized Finger Method that automates the design for custom fingertips. Important process parameters such as the type of gripper kinematics, grasping force and max. length of the gripper fingers can be taken into account. The fingertips can then be manufactured cost-effectively with a 3D printer and fit perfectly to the individual objects. The system was benchmarked by the task-board task from the World Robot Challenge 2018 and with a UR5 robot. Malaysia's standard operating procedure forbids the provision of Muslimah prayer outfits in public prayer facilities to minimize the risk of the COVID-19 virus spread among the shared-outfits users. The reuse of personal prayer outfits, overcrowding and spending longer in public prayer facilities can also increase the risk of fomite and airborne transmission by people with the virus. Thus, a Muslimah prayer outfit that forbids the spread of infectious diseases is crucially important. This paper presents a prayer gown that is made of disposable materials. Making efficient use of material, the gown is designed to be a single piece, comfortable and low cost. Besides the shari'ah-compliance features (reasonably thick fabric, black colour, elastic sleeves cuff and face opening), the prayer outfit provides a feasible solution to curb the transmission of contagious diseases amongst the prayers. It also serves as a gateway toward safe and easy travel for Muslim women. In recent years, portable electronic devices such as gadgets, tablets, mp3 players grow rapidly as daily devices for supporting people activities. In many applications, portable electronic devices need power backup. Since wireless power technology has been introduced in mobile device applications, portable power backup has become more popular to extend the battery life of mobile devices, moreover, the power backup technique also can utilize the advantages of wireless power technology. This paper presents the development of a dual-mode power bank: wireline and wireless, especially for gadget device power charge applications, to enhance user experience. The power backup is stored in a Li-ion rechargeable battery where the power in-outlet is monitored by the power monitoring module. The developed device was designed in a compact, simple, and portable module in the fashionable casing regarding the wireless power bank device. Concerning the wireless system, it was also designed based on Qi-standard Wireless Power Consortium (WPC), working at an operating frequency of 110kHz, maximum transmission distance at 10mm, and providing power at 5W. Experimental and validation reveal that the device can provide power 5V at maximum current 1A. This research paper involves making a smart stick for those who are blind or visually impaired. Walking along the street is dangerous for visually impaired persons because they have trouble identifying obstacles in front of them. This smart stick includes a feature that helps visually impaired to recognize their surroundings. A water sensor detects surfaces that are wet or dry, whereas an infrared sensor detects any additional obstructions in front of the user. Warning messages are delivered, when obstructions or bodies of water are discovered in front of the person. This stick identifies all obstacles within a 70-centimeter radius and displays a pleasant message, allowing the blind to go twice as fast as normal since they are safe. By augmenting silicon PV cells with close to 50% efficient multi-junction cells, there is the potential to approximately double overall conversion efficiency of solar PV modules. In this paper we describe the design of a hybrid module built onto a commercial 1 m x 2 m bifacial PV module. This serves not only to harvest the energy of diffuse light, but also to carry and cool an array of small multijunction PV cells to harvest direct sunlight. The single-junction silicon PV cells of the bifacial are sealed between 2 mm thick glass windows, front and back. In our design, the MJ cells are attached to the bifacial module's front window via 5 mm square copper/ceramic substrates. Attached in front of the module is a glass sheet formed into an array of 34 mm square lenses which focus sunlight to the cells while also transmitting diffuse light to the module's silicon cells. An 8 mm diameter secondary ball lens is bonded in front of each 2 mm square MJ cell, yielding 290 x concentration, maintained at >95% geometric throughput for solar mis-pointing as far as 1° off-axis. To ensure good cooling of the MJ cell, despite its being mounted on glass, the copper wires used to carry electrical power to the sides of the bifacial module are configured to also carry heat away from the cells. The wires have 1 mm square cross section and are bonded along their full length to the glass, with thermally conductive adhesive. Thermal modeling shows that for DNI solar illumination of 1 kW/m2, the temperature drop between the MJ cells and the back convecting surface of the bifacial module is limited to 10°C. The lens array is imprinted into a full-size (1 m x 2 m), 6 mm thick sheet of glass, by a process in which the sheet is first heated to 850°C, then pressed between relatively cold molds. The focal length of these lenses is chosen to be 125 mm, slow enough at f/3.5 to limit total internal reflection losses of the diffuse light to ∼10%. To minimize shipping costs, the glass sheets and modified bifacial modules will be packed and shipped separately, for assembly on-site as complete hybrid modules, using reflective side walls. We envisage that dual axis tracking will be provided by augmentation of single axis E-W tracking now used for standard utility scale PV plants, with the addition of cross-axes to turn the modules also in the N-S direction. Internet of Things (IoT) technology can connect various household devices through the internet network. This technology can help to monitor and control devices in the home, so efficiency can occur. This paper discusses the design of a smartphone-based application that can control television via the internet, so that it can be controlled even if the user is not in the TV room. This system uses a NodeMCU microcontroller to control infrared-based TV remotes. In addition, NodeMCU can decode real-time Firebase databases connected to smartphone applications programmed by using the Flutter framework. The developed application has a function that resembles the function of a TV remote in general. In addition to having commands such as a TV remote, the application also has additional features such as: "go to channel", "turn off timer", and "volume preset". Commands given through the UI of the app are stored in Firebase. The NodeMCU executes the command and transmits it with an infrared signal. The command is in the form of a Boolean variable. In a huge congregation, several pilgrimages went missing because they got lost or other causes. Moreover, during the holy seasons, cases like panicking due to getting scattered around from the group or getting lost and not finding the way back. To accommodate this problem, Portable Pilgrim Tracker is proposed in this paper to overcome those missing pilgrimages cases. Portable Pilgrim Tracker is a monitoring and tracking device designated to detect the user's location and heart rate in real-time. Using Wi-Fi technology as the medium of data transmission, the data is collected from the GPS module and pulse sensor Arduino. The information such as the user's real-time location and heart rate will be sent to the guardian's Blynk mobile application. With the usage of this portable pilgrim tracker, it is expected that this will be able to assist the mobile application user (guardians or travel agency staff) with the screen of live maps about Pilgrim's location and their heart rate to avoid any unwanted consequences such as missing Pilgrim and health compilation. The hybrid modules developed by a Swiss startup, Insolight, consist of a micro-concentrator photovoltaic (micro-CPV) sub-module mounted on a non-concentrator Si backplane. Embedding the micro-CPV cells on top of the flat plate module complements the high efficiency of the CPV with the geographic versatility of the Si cells. Characterization of such modules should be adapted for the requirements and challenges posed by the component submodules. The top CPV layer utilizes the direct component of the incident radiation and the bottom Si layer utilizes the diffuse component. Therefore, it is necessary to test the modules under two lighting conditions. This paper demonstrates a novel solar simulator design for the indoor characterization of hybrid modules based on the collimated-light solar simulator for CPV modules developed by the Instituto de Energía Solar-UPM. The new simulator design adds provisions for testing Silicon submodules under uniform diffuse light by incorporating diffusive elements in the collimated-light path and reducing stray light. The existing CPV simulator at UPM has been refurbished to test the new design concepts. The I-V curve of a hybrid module has been characterized indoors using several configurations and compared to reference measurements obtained outdoors in order to optimize and validate the new setup. As the wheels of any moving bodies are not effective on rough areas, robot with legs incorporating Klann mechanism becomes advantageous for innovative walking vehicles. It can easily step over verges, climb stairs and move over areas that are not effortlessly accessible with wheels. This paper deals with the design and fabrication of a microcontroller based Spider Bot with six legs using Klann mechanism. One of the most important benefits of this mechanism is that, it is controlled by Arduino board which is then connected to a computer, where it is connected with the Arduino development environment. Any user can write the Arduino code and upload it to the microcontroller which executes the code, resulting in the required movement of the Spider Bot. The link mechanisms are coupled by pivot joints, which convert the rotary motion of the crank into foot movement which is similar to walking of an animal. This Spider Bot is useful while handling hazardous materials, clearing of minefields or securing any area without placing human beings at risk. Many segments of human forces like Military, Police units, Explosive Disposal units, Private security organisations, etc. could benefit from the application of this Spider Bot. This paper describes a software tool for predicting the service life of a tubular panel solar receiver operating at elevated temperatures. The current version of the tool, available at https://github.com/Argonne-National-Laboratory/srlife as open-source software, provides full 1D, 2D, or 3D thermal and structural analysis and creep-fatigue service life prediction for a single material, Alloy 740H. Future version will include an expanded material library as well as heuristics designed to reduce the cost of the receiver analysis. The goal for this package is to become a part of a software stack, including solar field and thermohydraulic simulations, for optimizing receiver designs to meet service life and economic targets. These design and optimization frameworks could be crucial in producing viable high temperature receiver designs, operating at outlet temperatures targeting high efficiency energy conversion and storage systems. Over the last few years there has been an ongoing effort at the Biomedical Magnetic Resonance Laboratory within Washington University to develop data analysis applications using Bayesian probability theory. A few of these applications are specific to Magnetic Resonance data, however, most are general and can analyze data from a wide variety of sources. These data analysis applications are server based and they have been written in such a way as to allow them to utilize as many processors as are available. The interface to these Bayesian applications is a client based Java interface. The client, usually a Windows PC, runs the interface, sets up an analysis, sends the analysis to the server, fetches the results and displays the appropriate plots on the users client machine. Together, the client and server software can be used to solve a host of interesting problems that occur regularly in the sciences.
