At present, the wide commercial application of Li4Ti5O12(LTO) is limited as an anode for lithium-ion batteries because of its poor conductivity and lower rate performance. In this paper, LTO nanoparticles were embedded in a reduced graphene oxide (rGO) conductive network by an in situ electrostatic self-assembly effect using a simple hydrothermal reduction method. The microstructure and electrochemical performance of the LTO/rGO composite were investigated. The highlighted results showed that LTO nanoparticles were combined with rGO nanosheets by a Ti–O–C covalent bond, which was more stable than other bonding methods. At the same time, the addition of rGO not only enriches the structure and increases the specific surface area but also effectively prevents the agglomeration of LTO. The higher conductivity of LTO nanoparticles was bestowed by the rGO three-dimensional (3D) network, causing structural stability and high electrochemical performance. The LTO/rGO composite has high first discharge capacity (643.9 mAh/g at 0.5C), remarkable rate performance (290 mAh/g at 10C), and excellent cycle stability (271.7 mAh/g after the 1000th cycle at 10C) when tested in a half battery. Furthermore, it has higher discharge capacity (181.8 mAh/g at 1C, the first Coulombic efficiency was 90.1%) and excellent cycle stability (142.8 mAh/g after 500 cycles at 20C) when assembled into a full battery as the anode with commercial LiFePO4(LFP) as the cathode. The lithium storage mechanism of the LTO/graphene composite was further discussed by first-principles calculations. With the addition of graphene to LTO, the electron transport ability was improved and the diffusion energy barrier was reduced. This made the composite expected to become a promising anode material for lithium-ion batteries.

Dexmedetomidine (DEX), a common anesthetic, has significant effects on the biological features of cancer cells. Although numerous studies have been published on the impact of DEX on the biological characteristics of GC cells, the mechanism remains unknown. This study aimed to explore the effect of DEX on the biological properties of GC cells. DEX suppressed the viability and increased the apoptosis of GC cells in vitro and inhibited tumor growth in vivo. Besides, DEX raised the levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and iron, but decreased the levels of glutathione (GSH), glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPX4), and solute carrier family 7 member 11 (SLC7A11) in GC cells, which were abolished by Ferrostatin‐1 (the inhibitor of ferroptosis) treatment. In addition, the level of circ0008035 and E2F7 were downregulated, but miR‐302a level was upregulated in DEX‐treated GC cells. Circ0008035 increased the expression of E2F2 by acting as a sponge for miR‐302a. Circ0008035 inhibited DEX‐induced ferroptotic cell death in GC cells, which was reversed by miR‐302a overexpression or E2F7 reduction. Taken together, DEX mediated ferroptotic cell death in GC through regulating the circ0008035/miR‐302a/E2F7 axis, suggesting a feasible therapy option for GC.

The flow-field index in a 41-ton six-strand tundish is considered through adjusting the ratio of the casting velocity between the strands to eliminate the negative impact of iso-velocity casting in multi-strand tundish on the consistency of each strand due to the large ratio of length to width with narrow shape structure, resulting in poor consistency of each strand. In particular, the response time of strand-1 and strand-6 is relatively long, which affects the uniformity of the temperature field and flow field of the entire tundish. On the basis of verifying that the error between the numerical simulations and hydraulic experiments is less than 6%, six cases with the casting velocity ratio changing from 0.8 to 1.3 (with an interval of 0.1) are considered by calculation of numerical models. It is concluded that the consistency of each flow can be obviously improved by increasing the casting velocity ratio between side-strand and middle-strand. With increasing the casting velocity ratio, the flow field in the tundish became much active, the temperature field presented well uniformity, and the tracer concentration distribution in local dead zones was improved.

The photoinduced dipole force (PiDF) is an attractive force arising from the Coulombic interaction between the light-induced dipoles on the illuminated tip and the sample. It shows extreme sample-tip distance and refractive index dependence, which is promising for nanoscale infrared (IR) imaging of ultrathin samples. However, the existence of PiDF in the mid-IR region has not been experimentally demonstrated due to the coexistence of photoinduced thermal force (PiTF), typically one to two orders of magnitude higher than PiDF. In this study, we demonstrate that, with the assistance of surface phonon polaritons, the PiDF of c-quartz can be enhanced to surpass its PiTF, enabling a clear observation of PiDF spectra reflecting the properties of the real part of permittivity. Leveraging the detection of the PiDF of phonon polaritonic substrate, we propose a strategy to enhance the sensitivity and contrast of photoinduced force responses in transmission images, facilitating the precise differentiation of the heterogeneous distribution of ultrathin samples.Infrared photo-induced dipole force enhanced by substrate surface phonon polariton has been used for high-contrast imaging of ultrathin samples.

ABSTRACTThere has been considerable interest in stratospheric airships as a cost-effective alternative to earth orbit satellites for sightseeing, aerial photography, communication and carrying weapons, etc. Many countries have plans to develop the airship owing to its greatly expected usage. The suspended curtain plays a vital role in force transmission in stratospheric airships but lacks attention. In this paper, the relationship between the optimal shape of suspended curtain and load conditions was studied through CAE Abaqus and Isight. Firstly, by using secondary development function of Abaqus, parametric FEA models of suspended curtains and envelopes have been established, several parameters were used to describe the shape of suspended curtains. Secondly, parameters of the suspended curtain shape were optimized under different loading conditions by means of the genetic algorithm. Lastly, through the analysis of the results, some conclusions are summarized: The relationship between n1(n2) and nbwas found to be linear when the suspended curtain is subjected to vertical load. The stress transfer law of suspended curtain and inflatable membrane structure under the inclined load were also obtained, which are valuable for the structural engineering design of stratospheric airships..

In this paper, 4H-SiC planar MOSFETs were designed and fabricated. By using TCAD tool, the trade-off between on-resistance and maximum gate oxide electric field was optimized. With optimized gate oxide growth process, the gate oxide’s critical electric field of 9.8 MV/cm and the effective barrier height of 2.57 eV between SiO2 and 4H-SiC were obtained. The field effective mobility with different p-body doping was compared and studied. The MOS interface state density of 1.12E12 cm-2eV-1 at EC - EIT = 0.21 eV and channel mobility of 19.3 cm2/Vs at VGS = 20 V were obtained. The fabricated MOSFET’s on-resistance of 6.4 mΩcm2 was obtained with hexagonal cell structure which is very consistent with the simulation results.

Potassium 2-(1-hydroxypentyl)-benzoate (dl-PHPB) is a novel pro-drug of 3-n-butylphthalide (dl-NBP) that is used to treat ischemic stroke. Currently, dl-PHPB is in phase II–III clinical trials in China. In this study, we investigated the conversion and pharmacokinetics profiles of dl-PHPB in vitro and in vivo. The conversion of dl-PHPB to dl-NBP was pH- and calcium-dependent, and paraoxonase was identified as a major enzyme for the conversion in rat plasma. The pharmacokinetics, tissue distribution and excretion of dl-PHPB were studied and compared with equal-molar doses of dl-NBP in rats and dogs. The in vivo studies showed that dl-PHPB could be quickly and completely converted to dl-NBP. The plasma concentration-time course of converted dl-NBP after intravenous dl-PHPB administration was nearly the same as that after equal-molar dl-NBP. The Cmaxand AUC of dl-NBP after oral dl-PHPB administration in rats and dogs were higher by 60% and 170%, respectively, than those after oral dl-NBP administration. Analysis of the tissue distribution of dl-PHPB revealed that converted dl-NBP was primarily distributed in fat, the brain and the stomach. In the brain, the levels of dl-NBP were relatively higher after dl-PHPB treatment by orally than after treatment with equal-molar dl-NBP. Approximately 3%–4% of dl-NBP was excreted within 72 h after dosing with dl-PHPB or dl-NBP, but no dl-PHPB was detected in urine or feces excrements. Our results demonstrate that the conversion of dl-PHPB is fast after oral or intravenous administration. Furthermore, the bioavailability of dl-PHPB was obviously better than that of dl-NBP.

Aim:Recent studies have shown that the two-pore-domain potassium channel TREK-1 is involved in the proliferation of neural stem cells, astrocytes and human osteoblasts. In this study, we investigated how TREK-1 affected the proliferation of Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells in vitro.Methods:A CHO cell line stably expressing hTREK-1 (CHO/hTREK-1 cells) was generated. TREK-1 channel currents in the cells were recorded using whole-cell voltage-clamp recording. The cell cycle distribution was assessed using flow cytometry analysis. The expression of major signaling proteins involved was detected with Western blotting.Results:CHO/hTREK-1 cells had a high level of TREK-1 expression, reached up to 320%±16% compared to the control cells. Application of arachidonic acid (10 μmol/L), chloroform (1 mmol/L) or etomidate (10 μmol/L) substantially increased TREK-1 channel currents in CHO/hTREK-1 cells. Overexpression of TREK-1 caused CHO cells arresting at the G1phase, and significantly decreased the expression of cyclin D1. The TREK-1 inhibitor l-butylphthalide (1–100 μmol/L) dose-dependently attenuated TREK-1-induced G1phase cell arrest. Moreover, overexpression of TREK-1 significantly decreased the phosphorylation of Akt (S473), glycogen synthase kinase-3β (S9) and cAMP response element-binding protein (CREB, S133), enhanced the phosphorylation of p38 (T180/Y182), but did not alter the phosphorylation and expression of signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3).Conclusion:TREK-1 overexpression suppresses CHO cell proliferation by inhibiting the activity of PKA and p38/MAPK signaling pathways and subsequently inducing G1phase cell arrest.

Twenty polycyclic polyprenylated acylphloroglucinols (PPAPs), including the new compounds hyperscabrones A–I (1–9), were isolated from the air-dried aerial parts of Hypericum scabrum. These compounds comprise seven different structural types. All structures were determined by NMR spectroscopic methods and both experimental and calculated electronic circular dichroism (ECD) spectra. The evaluation of their neuroprotective effects on glutamate-induced toxicity in SK-N-SH cells showed that compounds 4–7exhibited significant neuroprotection at 10 μM. Additionally, compounds 3, 4, 7, and 9showed moderate hepatoprotective activities against paracetamol-induced HepG2 cell damage at 10 μM.

A solidification and stabilization method, thermal treatment, was used to investigate the effects of incineration temperature and incineration time on heavy metal fixation rates and leaching behaviors in soils from an e-waste processing site. High concentrations of heavy metals (Ni 153mg/kg, Cu 448mg/kg, Zn 227mg/kg, Cd 0.80mg/kg, Sn 838mg/kg, Sb 658mg/kg and Pb 114mg/kg) were detected in these soils. In addition, the Mn (67.2%), Co (62.7%), Ni (84.8%), Cu (88.3%), Zn (56.5%), Cd (79.9%) and Pb (67.4%) in these soils mainly occurred in the non-residual fractions. Thermal treatment experiments indicated that better (>80%) Be, V, Cr, Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd, Sn and Sb fixation rates could be obtained in these soils at an incineration temperature of 700°C and at an incineration time of 45min. under these conditions, the concentrations of Be, Cr, Co, Ni, Zn and Cd in the Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) leachates obviously decreased to concentrations that were lower than the corresponding background concentrations of groundwater in Dutch standard, and the Cu concentration in the TCLP leachates decreased from 461μg/L (before incineration) to 66.4μg/L. Therefore, thermal treatment technology could be serve as an appropriate measure for Be, Cr, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn and Cd remediation in the soils from the e-waste processing site.

Ion channels are involved in a variety of fundamental physiological processes, and their malfunction causes numerous human diseases. Therefore, ion channels represent a class of attractive drug targets and a class of important off-targets for in vitro pharmacological profiling. In the past decades, the rapid progress in developing functional assays and instrumentation has enabled high throughput screening (HTS) campaigns on an expanding list of channel types. Chronologically, HTS methods for ion channels include the ligand binding assay, flux-based assay, fluorescence-based assay, and automated electrophysiological assay. In this review we summarize the current HTS technologies for different ion channel classes and their applications.

Aim:hERG potassium channels display miscellaneous interactions with diverse chemical scaffolds. In this study we assessed the hERG inhibition in a large compound library of diverse chemical entities and provided data for better understanding of the mechanisms underlying promiscuity of hERG inhibition.Methods:Approximately 300 000 compounds contained in Molecular Library Small Molecular Repository (MLSMR) library were tested. Compound profiling was conducted on hERG-CHO cells using the automated patch-clamp platform–IonWorks Quattro™.Results:The compound library was tested at 1 and 10 μmol/L. IC50values were predicted using a modified 4-parameter logistic model. Inhibitor hits were binned into three groups based on their potency: high (IC50<1 μmol/L), intermediate (1 μmol/L< IC50<10 μmol/L), and low (IC50>10 μmol/L) with hit rates of 1.64%, 9.17% and 16.63%, respectively. Six physiochemical properties of each compound were acquired and calculated using ACD software to evaluate the correlation between hERG inhibition and the properties: hERG inhibition was positively correlative to the physiochemical properties ALogP, molecular weight and RTB, and negatively correlative to TPSA.Conclusion:Based on a large diverse compound collection, this study provides experimental evidence to understand the promiscuity of hERG inhibition. This study further demonstrates that hERG liability compounds tend to be more hydrophobic, high-molecular, flexible and polarizable.

In this article, an output-feedback control law is designed for a multi-vectored thrust stratospheric airship. The proposed control law is designed using the adaptive backstepping method and with few model aerodynamics parameters besides the qualitative physical properties. The resulting feedback controller is able to follow the given references in three Cartesian positions (x,y,z)and yaw angle by actuating four thrusters and their deflection angles. Lyapunov function analysis is introduced to compensate for the engine physical limits and guarantees closed-loop system stability. A degraded scenario (wind disturbance) which renders the airship statically unstable is also considered to show the adaptation capabilities of the control law. The simulations are carried out using a realistic multi-vectored thrust stratospheric airship model that is also developed in this study. Simulation results are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive backstepping control when saturations are present even in wind disturbance.

The regenerative potential of c‐kit+cardiac stem cells (CSCs) is severely limited by the poor survival of cells after transplantation in the infarcted heart. We have previously demonstrated that preconditioning human CSCs (hCSCs) with the heme oxygenase‐1 inducer, cobalt protoporphyrin (CoPP), has significant cytoprotective effects in vitro. Here, we examined whether preconditioning hCSCs with CoPP enhances CSC survival and improves cardiac function after transplantation in a model of myocardial infarction induced by a 45‐minute coronary occlusion and 35‐day reperfusion in immunodeficient mice. At 30 minutes of reperfusion, CoPP‐preconditioned hCSCsGFP+, hCSCsGFP+, or medium were injected into the border zone. Quantitative analysis with real‐time qPCR for the expression of the human‐specific gene HLA revealed that the number of survived hCSCs was significantly greater in the preconditioned‐hCSC group at 24 hours and 7 and 35 days compared with the hCSC group. Coimmunostaining of tissue sections for both green fluorescent protein (GFP) and human nuclear antigen further confirmed greater hCSC numbers at 35 days in the preconditioned‐hCSC group. At 35 days, compared with the hCSC group, the preconditioned‐hCSC group exhibited increased positive and negative left ventricular (LV) dP/dt, end‐systolic elastance, and anterior wall/apical strain rate (although ejection fraction was similar), reduced LV remodeling, and increased proliferation of transplanted cells and of cells apparently committed to cardiac lineage. In conclusion, CoPP‐preconditioning of hCSCs enhances their survival and/or proliferation, promotes greater proliferation of cells expressing cardiac markers, and results in greater improvement in LV remodeling and in indices of cardiac function after infarction. A pair of indole alkaloid enantiomers having a novel bisindolylacetamide skeleton, insatindibisindolamides A and B (1aand 1b), was isolated from an aqueous extract of Isatis indigoticaroots. Their structures and absolute configurations were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic analysis, especially 2D NMR, X-ray crystallography, and electronic CD (ECD) calculation. The proposed biosynthetic pathway and preliminary investigations of the biological activity of compounds 1aand 1bare also discussed.

The recently found intermetallic FeSn5phase with defect structure Fe0.74Sn5has shown promise as a high capacity anode for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). The theoretical capacity is as high as 929 mAh g–1thanks to the high Sn/Fe ratio. However, despite being an alloy, the cycle life remains a great challenge. Here, by combining Fe0.74Sn5nanospheres with reduced graphene oxide (RGO) nanosheets, the Fe0.74Sn5@RGO nanocomposite can achieve capacity retention 3 times that of the nanospheres alone, after 100 charge/discharge cycles. Moreover, the nanocomposite also displays its versatility as a high-capacity anode in sodium-ion batteries (SIBs). The enhanced cell performance in both battery systems indicates that the Fe0.74Sn5@RGO nanocomposite can be a potential anode candidate for the application of Li-ion and Na-ion battery.

Paecilomyces hepialiis an important fungus for medicinal and healthcare products generating an economic value of one billion CNY annually. It has been the subject of much research attention, especially due to its isolation from field collections of Ophiocordyceps sinensis(the caterpillar fungus or Dōng chóng xià căo) prized for its reputed medicinal properties. However, research on this important fungus is currently hampered by the fact that the holotype and ex‐type strain are unavailable for study on loan and in person due to institutional policies of confidentiality. Thus the holotype is effectively “lost” for the purposes of the Code. To facilitate further research and to enable the unambiguous application of the name, a neotype is designated for P. hepiali, based on a recent collection from the type locality.

For the efficiency measurement of coal-fired power plant has drawn attention widely, and then this article analyzed five power plants in China with a combination of PCA and DEA. Adjust of production parameters and strategies according to the method to improve the efficiency of power plants. This article proved that the method can make a breakthrough in evaluating performance of the power plants.

With the development of Hainan tropical rain forest tourism, the constructions of transport and water conservancy facilities are improving in these areas, which will probably cause landslide for changing the topography of the original slope conditions. In that context, a study is performed to find out the reasons for the landslide in tropical forests areas by employing some examples.

Magnesium slag is a kind of industrial waste during the silicothermic process for magnesium reduction which has potential hydration activity. By adding 20% to 50% of magnesium slag into Portland cement, the influence principle of the additive amount of magnesium slag on the pozzolanic activity is investigated through performance testing and hydration products analysis. During the early period of hydration process, the strength of pozzolanic effectiveness ratio weakens with the increasing additive amount of magnesium slag, while during the later period of hydration process with the additive amount of magnesium slag less than 40%, the strength of pozzolanic effectiveness ratio increases with increasing additive amount of magnesium slag. The activity index of magnesium slag increases with the increase of period and additive amount, and the strength brought by hydration of magnesium slag is a key source of the strength improvement of Portland cement with magnesium slag.

The present work describes an ultrasonic assisted in-situ dynamic inverse emulsion polymerization process of aniline (ANI) in the presence of organic palygorskite (OPGS) in toluene. Core-shell structure of electrically conducting polymerized ANI (PANI) combined with OPGS was prepared by utilizing the method. Dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid (DBSA) was used as the dopant and emulsifier. The OPGS was obtained via the chemical reaction of pretreated palygorskite with hexadecyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (HTAB). The prepared PANI/OPGS composite was characterized by FT-IR, UV-Vis, XRD, TGA and SEM. In addition, the conductivity was evaluated at different ANI/OPGS weight ratio. When the ANI/OPGS weight ratio increased to 2:7, the conductivity of the composite still remained at 10 S/m at room temperature. The results demonstrated that ultrasonic assisted dynamic inverse emulsion would be an excellent polymerization technique to increase the conductivity and the polymerization rate.

This is shown in the change of internal stress and the observations of sand stability behavior when on expansion state. Once adopted tradition design method, the slopes will become unstable. The position of unstable line is discussed here and the proposed analysis method is based on the region of the potential instability and the state of stress in the groun.

A numerical triaxial apparatus based on discrete element method is developed on the platform of Yade using Python script. A DEM model with rolling resistance contact considered is proposed for dense granular materials, which is then applied in triaxial compression test of Chende sand. Stress-strain response and volume-axial strain response of the DEM model agree well with that of experiments, with a good prediction of dilatancy angle. Degradation of granular materials duo to particle erosion is also investigated using triaxial compression tests. It is indicated that peak friction angle decreases with the remove of particles if strong force network of granular materials is destroyed.

Drilling process is a complicated system with characteristics of uncertainty, fuzziness and time-varying. A new way of the fault diagnosis based on RS-SVM (Rough Set and Support Vector Machine) was proposed in this paper. The related engineering factors were reduced by Rough Set theory and the main factors of the drilling process were obtained. Then the Support Vector Machine was used to establish the diagnosis models, and then the problems that the traditional SVM cannot deal with dynamic data and are prone to dimension disasters with large samples were avoided. The application in Ha35 well, Liao He Oilfield indicates that the system can diagnose the type of faults quickly and accurately. So the method can be used to diagnose the drilling process.

In this work a new perspective of pumping unit intermittent pumping intelligent control in strippers is presented. The strategy consists in associating economic situations and dynamometer cards analysis in a cascaded control. In the proposal, the widely applied control strategies based on dynamometer cards and downhole pressure modeling and the overall economic efficiency, since the development of pumping unit operation mechanism plays a vital role to ensure energy saving in low-volume wells. The simulation results are analyzed in order to evaluate the operational conditions propitiated by intermittent pumping control in actual operation.

Thermoplastic composite has become preferred material for wind turbine blade with high performance, low cost and greenization. The fused mass of the thermoplastic resin has high viscosity and the forming of the thermoplastic composite materials is laborious, quality is not readily guaranteed, thus, the widespread use of thermoplastic composite blades for wind turbine is restricted. Based on the analysis of all kinds of the characteristics of thermoplastic forming technology, the paper has points out that the diaphragm forming is especially suitable for making a hyperboloid, variable thickness, large size wind turbine thermoplastic composite blade structure. The key to improving the forming quality and the efficiency of the thermoplastic blade forming is to establish finite element deformation model of a diaphragm forming process, to effectively control the process parameters such as temperature, pressure, forming rate. Conducting research on thermoplastic blade diaphragm forming technology lay the foundation for the industrialization of thermoplastic wind turbine blade.

Using integral method, the stress formula of soil for arbitrary Poisson's ratio under vertical line load was detailedly and completely derived based on Melan integral. The result shows that when the line load acting on the ground surface for arbitrary Poisson's ratio of soil, the stress formula is equivalent to the formula for Poisson's ratio of 0.5. Owing to such stress bubble graphics haven't appeared in Chinese soil mechanics textbooks, we give a detailed mapping of stress bulbs under vertical liner load.

The smelting factory of Dexing Copper Mine is separated, so mine stripping material and low grade ore yards have huge impact on the environment. For a variety of reasons, the efficiency of operation of the environmental protection facilities in Dexing Copper Mine area was so low that all the acid wastewater was not treated well before discharge. This can lead to a problem that extracting copper and other metal mineral from the low grade ore in the waste stone, and also produce acidic wastewater and heavy metal pollution. Finally, the wastewater discharge into the Dawu River has made huge impact on water, soil, ecological environment. Based on the mathematical model of DGH, this paper analyzed the soil samples of Dexing Copper Mine in the Dawu River domain by the method of successive extraction. The results reveals the DGH characteristics of Cd element in the soil of downstream Dawu River. Cd element in the soil of downstream of Dawu Rive tends to shift from TRCP-Cd (total releasable content of Cd element) to TCAS-Cd (total concentration of active species of Cd element). The critical point of outbreak is TRCP=185.90 ng/g. 36% of the samples of downstream Dawu River oversteps the critical point of outbreak, making it possible to break out. Meanwhile, the analysis of DGH of Cd element is of great significance to early-warning of soil heavy metal pollution and improvement of ecological environment in the study area.

Doping LiFePO4with vanadium has proven to enhance electrochemical performance, but the underlying reasons for this improvement are not well understood. To better comprehend the relationships between the electrochemical performance, crystal structure, and surface carbon layer, we prepared vanadium-modified LiFePO4by three different methods. The electrochemical performance of each sample was determined via a series of cycling studies, the detailed crystal structures of the doped samples were identified by X-ray diffraction and absorption spectroscopy, and the surface carbon coating was examined by high resolution transmission electron microscopy. In V-modified LiFePO4prepared by a modified solid-state reaction, the vanadium is present in an impurity phase at the surface, which improves conductivity but has only a slight improvement in the electrochemical properties. The V-modified LiFePO4samples prepared by the conventional solid-state reaction method and a solution method revealed that the vanadium was substituted into the lattice occupying iron sites in the FeO6octahedron. This structural modification improves the cycling rate performance by increasing the Li+effective cross-sectional area of the LiO6octahedral face and thereby reducing the bottleneck for Li+migration. In addition, analysis of the carbon coating revealed that the material prepared by the solution method forms a uniform carbon coating with a thin, well-ordered interface between the LiFePO4and the carbon. The surface properties improve the electronic and ionic conductivities (with respect to the other samples), resulting in a high rate capability (87 mAh g–1at 50 C).

Due to the complex structures of aviation products made of titanium alloy TC4, residual stress can be generated by the high speed cutting process at their surface which has an important influence on their fatigue strength and also service life. Therefore, in this paper, a 3D finite element model is built to analyze the cutting process with different tool parameters and to investigate the residual stress inside the processed surface. By the numerical study, when the cutting speed is 140 m/min, the residual tensile stress can be generated in the inner cutting surface, while the compressive residual stress in the outer cutting surface. Residual compressive stress can be enhanced by choosing the smaller tool rake angle, the bigger tool relief angle and the bigger cutting edge radius properly.

Nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) is a key transcriptional factor for antioxidant response element-regulated genes. After spinal cord injury (SCI), the Nrf2-antioxidant response element pathway is activated in the spinal cord. However, the function of Nrf2 after SCI has not yet been studied.

The reverse non-equilibrium molecular dynamics (RNEMD) has been performed to compute the thermal conductivity of armchair graphene nanoribbons (AGNRS) affected by vacancy defects. One- and two-atom vacancy defects are observed on the thermal conductivity of AGNRS. We find that one-atom vacancy defects can decrease the thermal conductivity significantly. Two-atom vacancy defects are located along the axial direction of AGNRS, and the thermal conductivity drops with the number of atoms between two-atom vacancies defects increasing. When two-atom vacancy defects are located along the longitudinal direction of AGNRS, the reduction of the thermal conductivity of AGNRS shows a pan shape.

In-doped ZnO thin film has been found as one of the most promising materials in the optoelectronics, but its optical properties are rarely reported. We calculated optical band gaps and optical properties of Zn1-xInxO with different In doping by using first-principle. The results reveal that the lattice constants of Zn1-xInxO increase linearly with the doping increasing and Zn1-xInxO (x=0.125, x=0.25) crystal comes to be degenerate semiconductor with band gap reduced. The imaginary part of dielectric function has an increasing trend and the absorption capacity significantly increases in ultraviolet (UV) range after doping. Also there is an obvious red-shift in the absorption spectrum. The reflectivity and energy loss spectrum were investigated, too. The results can provide a theoretical reference for finding appropriate UV protective material.

This design is an open-loop aviation electronic equipment rack based on ARINC600 for a aircraft under only air exhaust condition. Conduct tress and stiffness analysis via ANSYS calculating the maximum stress and the maximum distortion. Calculate the maximum power of electronic equipment suitable for this equipment suitable for this equipment rack through heat transfer theory and provide theory basis for electronic equipment layout on the overall aircraft.

We demonstrated that graphene significantly enhances the reversible capacity of porous silicon nanowires used as the anode in Li-ion batteries. We prepared our experimental nanomaterials, viz., graphene and porous single-crystalline silicon nanowires, respectively, using a liquid-phase graphite exfoliation method and an electroless HF/AgNO3etching process. The Si porous nanowire/graphene electrode realized a charge capacity of 2470 mAh g−1that is much higher than the 1256 mAh g−1of porous Si nanowire/C-black electrode and 6.6 times the theoretical capacity of commercial graphite. This relatively high capacity could originate from the favorable charge-transportation characteristics of the combination of graphene with the porous Si 1D nanostructure.
