This study explores the effects of an online mindfulness-based stress reduction intervention on postpandemic era nurses' subjective well-being, job burnout, and psychological adaptation. Previous studies on the psychological adaptability of nurses mainly focused on investigation rather than intervention. Ninety nurses were randomly classified into an intervention or control group. The intervention group received weekly online mindfulness-based stress reduction training for 8 weeks. The Subjective Well-being, Job Burnout, and Psychological Use scales were administered pre- and postintervention. Postintervention, nurses' positive emotions and life satisfaction significantly improved. Nurses' psychological adaptation was significantly higher postintervention than preintervention. The total scores for negative emotion, low personal accomplishment, and job burnout were significantly lower postintervention than preintervention. The scores for positive emotion and life satisfaction in the intervention group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the scores for low personal accomplishment in the intervention group were significantly lower than those in the control group. Online mindfulness-based stress reduction interventions can improve nurses' subjective well-being, reduce job burnout, and improve their level of psychological adaptability. Moreover, it could promote nurses' ability to communicate mindfully with patients and their families. This intervention could help promote the development of mindfulness in the nursing field. The spread of COVID-19 has brought negative impacts on the life and study of college students and thus aggravated their mental stress in this environment. Existing research has focused more on the status quo of the problem while having ignored its process variability, and there is no research on the correlation between the mental stress of college students and their learning initiative during the outbreak of COVID-19. To this end, this paper conducts an analysis of the correlation between the mental stress of college students and their learning initiative during the outbreak of COVID-19. In-depth analysis was carried out by the factor analysis method in SPSS, and an evaluation model was built for the mental stress of college students during the outbreak of COVID-19 based on four stressors, with the process of how to obtain the evaluation results given. The grey correlation analysis method was used to quantitatively analyze the correlation between the mental stress of college students and their learning initiative during the outbreak of COVID-19, that is, the factors affecting college students' learning initiative during the outbreak of COVID-19 were investigated through the grey correlation analysis. Tripartite motif-containing 44 (TRIM44) was reported to be involved in the tumorigenesis of several tumors, but its function in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma has not been investigated yet. In the present study, we aimed to elucidate the function of TRIM44 in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma, and identify the compounds which could inhibit TRIM44 expression. Our results showed that TRIM44 was upregulated in tumor tissues and cell lines of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma. Knockdown of TRIM44 significantly inhibited cell growth of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma by suppressing TLR4, phosphorylated AKT and phosphorylated NF-κ B p65 expression in vitro. Moreover, TRIM44 knockdown inhibited tumor growth in nude mice, which further suggested that TRIM44 exerted oncogenic activity in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma. Interestingly, it was found that nuciferine significantly inhibited the mRNA levels of TRIM44 after screening a small natural compound library. Our further studies showed nuciferine markedly downregulated the protein levels of TRIM44 and its substrate TLR4 in a concentration-dependent manner in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma cells. Moreover, the activation of downstream kinases of TLR4 such as AKT signaling pathway was also inhibited by nuciferine. Additionally, nuciferine markedly inhibited cell survival of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma in a concentration-dependent manner. In contrast, TRIM44 overexpression significantly reduced the cytotoxicity of nuciferine in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma cells. In conclusion, this study indicated that inhibiting TRIM44 would be a useful strategy for the treatment of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma, and nuciferine could be a potential chemical applicated in the therapy of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma. Recent years have seen the rise of user-generated contents (UGCs) in online social media. Diverse UGC sources and information overload are making it increasingly difficult to satisfy personalized information needs. To organize UGCs in a user-centered way, we should not only map them based on textual topics but also link them with users and even user communities. We propose a multi-dimensional framework to organize information by connecting UGCs, users, and user communities. First, we use a topic model to generate a topic hierarchy from UGCs. Second, an author-topic model is applied to learn user interests. Third, user communities are detected through a label propagation algorithm. Finally, a multi-dimensional information organization pattern is formulated based on similarities among the topic hierarchies of UGCs, user interests, and user communities. The results reveal that: 1) our proposed framework can organize information from multiple sources in a user-centered way; 2) hierarchical topic structures can provide comprehensive and in-depth topics for users; and, 3) user communities are efficient in helping people to connect with others who have similar interests. Users can easily obtain a massive amount of news stories related to an event. But, often the obtained stories are fragmented and can only reflect certain aspects of the event. Detecting the subevents automatically is important for users to understand the whole development process of the event. Motivated by the co-evolution between the event and the opinions about it, we firstly propose to adopt Micro Index and give a dynamic time window construction method based on the recognition of the peaks of the Micro Index Curve. Secondly, we propose a two-stage subevent detection method based on local clustering and classification. And finally, we introduce the news stories about "Luo Yixiao Event" and "Shandong Illegal Vaccines Event", which are two recent hot events, and use them to evaluate the proposed methods. Abstract Based on adhesion models between rock surface groups and organic molecules, the interactions between the chemical groups on the rock surface and the components of crude oil and the interactions of the electrical double layers at the rock surface and oil-water interface were analyzed to investigate the abilities and microscopic mechanisms of wettability control by H+, OH− and inorganic salt ions in brine, and a new method of wettability control for reservoir rocks was built. The results show that the interaction forces between rock surface groups and oil molecules are van der Waals forces, Coulomb forces, hydrogen bonds, and surface forces. By changing these forces, the control mechanisms of surface wettability of reservoir rocks by brine are: transformation of chemical groups, change of interfacial potential, pH variation of injected water, multicomponent ionic exchange, and salting-in or salting-out effect. For sandstone reservoirs, with the decrease of concentration and valence state of positive ions in brine or the increase of pH (increasing pH has a negligible impact on the brine salinity), the interaction between rock surface and oil becomes weak, thus resulting in increase of water wettability of rock surface. For carbonate reservoirs, CaSO 4 or MgSO 4 brine with high concentration is beneficial to increase water wettability of rock surface. Therefore, it is feasible to control rock wettability and improve oil recovery by adjusting the ion components of injected water. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study was designed to investigate the effects of exogenous androgen and resistance exercise on skeletal muscle hypertrophy and the role of the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) signalling during the process. A total of 24 male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly assigned to sham operation and dihydrotestosterone (DHT) implantation groups with subgroups subjected to sedentary conditions or resistance exercise (SHAM+SED, SHAM+EX, DHT+SED, and DHT+EX). The experimental procedure lasted for 10 days. The mRNA expression of androgen receptor (AR) and insulin-like growth factor I (IGF-I), the expression of myosin heavy chain (MHC), as well as the phosphorylation statuses of AR, mTOR, p70 ribosomal S6 kinase (p70S6K), and eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E-binding protein 1 (4EBP1) were determined in the white gastrocnemius muscle. The cross sectional area and wet mass of the muscle were also measured. The cross sectional area and MHC expression were significantly higher in SHAM+EX, DHT+SED, and DHT+EX than in SHAM+SED. There was no significant difference among groups in muscle mass. The mRNA expression of AR and IGF-I and the phosphorylation of mTOR, p70S6K, and 4EBP1 were significantly increased in DHT+SED and SHAM+EX and were significantly enhanced in DHT+EX compared with either DHT or exercise alone. These data show that DHT causes hypertrophy in skeletal muscle and that exercise has a synergistic effect on DHT-induced hypertrophy. Heishui county, located in northwest Sichuan province, southwestern China, is an endemic area of zoonotic visceral leishmaniasis (VL) and is the most intractable area. VL is never destroyed in it. Asymptomatic dogs (Leishmania parasites have been diagnosed but clinically healthy) are considered to be a potential reservoir host in zoonotic VL area, and most can lead to infection of individuals, that is a new challenge for controlling VL in humans. The present study aimed to assess the Leishmania infection rate of asymptomatic dogs in Heishui county. Total 105 asymptomatic domestic dogs were gathered from 4 districts in Heishui county to investigate the infection rate with serological and molecular methods based on ELISA and kinetoplast minicircle DNA(kDNA) PCR, respectively. Out of 105 dogs, 44 (41.9%) were positive by more than 1 method; 21 (20.0%) were positive by ELISA, and 30 (28.6%) were positive by kDNA-PCR. Our study showed that Leishmania infection of domestic dogs which is clinically healthy is prevalent in the studied district, and the asymptomatic dogs infected by Leishmania may be the primary reason for the prevalence of visceral leishmaniasis in the area. In this paper, we propose the generalized hesitant fuzzy harmonic mean operators including the generalized hesitant fuzzy weighted harmonic mean operator (GHFWHM), the generalized hesitant fuzzy ordered weighted harmonic mean operator (GHFOWHM), and the generalized hesitant fuzzy hybrid harmonic mean operator (GHFHHM), using the technique of obtaining values in the interval. Then we apply the developed aggregation operators to group decision making under hesitant fuzzy environment. Considering the existing hesitant fuzzy group decision-making method does not distinguish the importance degrees of different experts, we present a new group decision-making algorithm which can consider the weight of every expert. Malaria remains a serious public health problem in Shandong Province, China; therefore, it is important to explore the characteristics of the current malaria prevalence situation in the province. In this study, data of malaria cases reported in Shandong during 2012-2014 were analyzed, and Plasmodium species were confirmed by smear microscopy and nested-PCR. A total of 374 malaria cases were reported, 80.8% of which were reported from 6 prefectures. Of all cases, P. falciparum was dominant (81.3%), followed by P. vivax (11.8%); P. ovale and P. malariae together accounted for 6.4% of cases. Notably, for the first time since 2012, no indigenous case had been reported in Shandong Province, a situation that continued through 2014. Total 95.2% of cases were imported from Africa. The ratio of male/female was 92.5:1, and 96.8% of cases occurred in people 20-54 years of age. Farmers or laborers represented 77.5% of cases. No significant trends of monthly pattern were found in the reported cases. All patients were in good condition after treatment, except for 3 who died. These results indicate that imported malaria has increased significantly since 2012 in Shandong Province, especially for P. falciparum, and there is an emergence of species diversity.
