The conventional aircraft layout will contain the elevator, aileron, rudder three control surfaces, and thus generate three control moments to adjust the aircraft trajectory and flight attitude. However, the aircraft with multi-control plane flying wing layout needs to choose redundant new control plane configuration, which is quite different from the conventional aircraft layout in both control method and operation mode. Since there are many problems in the aircraft motion mathematical model during the ownership period, which will directly affect the control effect of the flight control system, in order to reduce dynamic error and improve the robustness and accuracy of the flight control system, this paper proposes an adaptive neural network algorithm. Combined with the current operating status of tailless flying wing aircraft and the research status of aircraft control system analysis, this paper mainly discusses the design differences between the adaptive control system and the original control system, based on the empirical case, to clarify the compensation effect of the adaptive control system. Nowadays, traditional hydrocarbon reserves are depleted. The search for and production of oil and gas in hard-to-reach fields require the development of appropriate computing technologies. Therefore, there is a need to develop novel high-precision computational methods that make it possible to more accurately take into account the features of the geological model, and at the same time save computational resources. In this paper, we have proposed a novel modification of the grid-characteristic method on Chimera grids to take into account the complex geometry of the interfaces of geological rocks. This modification differs from those proposed earlier by using a single background grid with varying elastic parameters of the medium and imposes fewer restrictions on the geological model than the previously proposed options. The computational method proposed in the paper is applicable not only for modeling seismic waves in geological media, but also for modeling ultrasonic and sound study, non-destructive testing of various objects, and in medicine. Today, the exact determination of the parameters of the fracturing of oil and gas fields is of great practical importance. Therefore, an important role is played by computer modeling of the seismic responses from cracks, which correspond to fractured zones actually occurring in nature in terms of the distribution of fracture lengths, positions and rotation angles. Thus, the development of an algorithm aimed at solving this problem plays an important role. In this paper, we have presented the developed algorithm for the placement of cracks in a fractured zone with given geological parameters, such as distribution of lengths, opening, angle of inclination of cracks. The application of this algorithm makes it possible to use in further calculations a geological fractured zone model that is as close as possible to real oil and gas-filled reservoirs. The paper presents the concept of the supporting structure and modeling of the main components of the rover, which can transport people and work in autonomous mode. This is ensured by an appropriate design of the rover's support frame and drive wheel system. The paper presents a computer model of selected fundamental drive components affecting the traction capabilities of the vehicle, namely the differential, frame, and wheels. The modeling was performed in a Matlab-SimMechanics environment. In this environment, the model was also assembled into a functional whole, which allows simulating the rover's operation in different terrain conditions. This is presented in the final part of the paper, where the simulation of overcoming an obstacle by the rover presented in this paper is presented. One of the studied cases, an urban obstacle in the form of stairs, was chosen. Displacement diagrams of individual structural elements of the rover prove its high traction and stability capabilities. The paper illustrates the process of generating synthetic data using diffusion neural networks for solving popular computer vision tasks in urban applications: traffic vehicles detection and classification. The result of this study demonstrated new approach for synthetic datasets creation using modern generative neural networks. To elaborate this approach, experiments were performed to generate synthetic dataset to solve the above basic computer vision problem in urban applications using the most advanced diffusion neural network models (Kandinsky 2.2). Experiments were performed on these datasets to train deep neural networks to solve the object detection problem (YOLOv5). The results of testing the trained detectors on a specially selected validation dataset showed the potential viability of a synthetic dataset generation approach using diffusion neural network models. This paper addresses the observer-based H ∞ control issue of switched systems with time delays. With the event-triggered scheme, the system will sample and update relevant information only when the event conditions are satisfied. It is assumed that the system states are unavailable, thus, an observer is used to estimate the system states. It is also assumed that the system is subjected to external disturbances. By utilizing the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, several sufficient conditions are obtained to guarantee H ∞ performance of the observer-based event-triggered switched systems. Moreover, the observer-based controller is designed. In addition, a proof is given to show the existence of the lower bound on the interevent intervals so that Zeno behavior can be avoided. In this paper a destruction of a conical sample under an action of a short high energy pulse is simulated. The paper concentrates on an influence of material properties and load profile on the destruction patterns of the sample. Under a short high amplitude load the destruction is caused mostly due to the interference of elastic waves in the sample. Sea ice is a difficult object to study due to its heterogeneous structure and location near the melting point. This paper proposes a model of ice ridges as a heterogeneous structure with multiple water and air inclusions, free boundaries and free sliding contact boundaries. The dynamic growth of cracks in a given heterogeneous structure under intense dynamic influences is considered, which makes the considered boundary value problem nonlinear. The influence of explosion parameters (location of sources, frequency, number of periods) on the nature of the destruction of the ice ridges was investigated. The work also investigates the collision of an ice island with ice floes. For calculations, the grid-characteristic method is used on structured rectangular computational grids. Vane pneumatic motors (PM) are the most popular products among rotary vane machines in both hydraulic and gas (pneumatic) versions. Mathematical modeling is widely used to solve some problems of vane PM: analysis and synthesis the new PM designs, in order to increase their energy efficiency, resource and other operational characteristics. This paper presents a refined mathematical model of a vane PM, taking into account the effect of heat generated during friction of the vanes against the stator and rotor slots on the thermodynamic process in the working chambers, as well as mechanical losses in the rotor bearings with their mode of operation. The parameters of the friction and heat transfer model, which are rather difficult to measure in a real structure, were determined by the vector identification method, by comparing the experimental and calculated mechanical and flow characteristics of the PM, as well as the temperature of the compressed air at the exhaust. However increasing the number of Base Stations may increase the Energy Consumption and reduce the Efficiency. Nowadays multi-rotor MAV is being proposed for many critical applications so the designer must provide an MAV, which have the high lifetime, high operational speed, more secure on-flight and low maintenance cost in order to survive at critical applications. Survive at the critical infrastructure may create the structural failures in MAV and in general forward speed is a lacking specification in multi-rotor MAV, which leads to reduce the usage of multi-rotor MAVs in the difficult applications. The aim of this paper is to finalize the suitable material for multi-rotor MAV to perfectly survive at high speed operation in order to provide surveillance in dangerous places using numerical simulation. Also, a unique conceptual design of hybrid MAV has been derived here, that comprises of four rotors in which two rotors are allocated for VTOL and two rotors planned for forward speed production. The airframe and propellers of the MAV are preferred to be of composite materials, which allows for propeller flexibility without sacrificing durability. Numerical simulation is to be used for investigating structural behavior of the MAV for different composite materials such as Kevlar, Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) and Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) by simulates the displacement and principal stress in order to withstand at high speed operation. The reference component of this paper is modeled by using CATIA. The physical system design is more complex day after day due to the advancement in technology. In this paper, bond graph modelling of a multi domain physical system like skid steered mobile is presented. The proposed method is used to describe the dynamics of the system in various physical domains. By applying the bond and junction properties, mathematical model is extracted. In the second part of the paper, an unified technique is proposed to control the robot along the predefined complex trajectory. To track the desired trajectory, a flatness-based controller is proposed for the mobile robot. The developed dynamic model and the controller is modelled using BG V20 toolbox in MATLAB. Open loop as well as closed loop simulation are carried out to check the efficacy of the proposed model. This paper describes the designing and analysis of a class – A Chopper in open loop as well as closed loop control. This paper aims to put up the results based on software as well as hardware simulation. DC chopper is realized by using dSPACE DS1104 for open loop operation of class – A chopper with resistive load. With the rapid deployment of LTE, the standardization activities of releases beyond LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) are recently being actively progressed in 3GPP. The emerging services and key enhancements such as Further Enhancement of Downlink Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO), Heterogeneous Networks, and Carrier Aggregation (CA) in LTE-A has revealed and motivated the standardization of an enhanced physical control channel(s) for the LTE air interface. The advanced Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) design shall be able to support increased control channel capacity, to support frequency domain Inter Cell Interference Coordination (ICIC), to achieve improved spatial reuse of control channel resource, to support beamforming and/or diversity and at the same time able to support flexible resource allocation of control channel. In this paper, we analyzed the features and capacity of enhanced control channels considered in LTE, starting with the motivations and the standardized Enhanced PDCCH (EPDCCH). In order to solve the problem of estimating the model parameters of hemodynamic model under low frequency interference, a new model parameter estimation algorithm (CSCKS) is proposed in this paper for the hemodynamic model with low frequency interference. The algorithm is based on SCKS algorithm to improve, its estimation effect is obviously better than the existing SCKS algorithm and DEM algorithm. We simulate the proposed algorithm and some other traditional algorithms to evaluate the estimation performance of CSCKS proposed in this paper under different Signal to Interference Ratio (SIR) and different integration steps, and through the simulation results, the estimated results of the algorithm were analyzed and compared. For WSNs deployed in remote tactical edge networks without available infrastructure, using UAVs to collect sensors data can greatly extend sensor networks life. Due to constraints such as energy consumption and communication delay, rapid path planning is necessary for UAVs flight. This paper mainly proposes a new path planning algorithm based on spiral decomposition, which is named as Spiral Path Planning (SPP) algorithm. Besides, the paper improves the existing FPPWR algorithm. Simulation proves SPP is more suitable for a UAV to collect data from sensors nodes evenly distributed in a circle area. In this paper, a algorithm which is used for carrier frequency offset (CFO) estimation is proposed in coherent optical communications system with binary phase-shift keying (BPSK) modulation. The proposed algorithm utilizes the frequency divider to broaden the range of the estimation algorithm. In a 5-GBaud coherent BPSK system, simulation results show that when 12dB signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and 512 samples are utilized, a 8 frequency divider can expand the range of the frequency offset estimation from [-0.5GHz, +0.5GHz] to [-4GHz, +4GHz] and the CFO estimation error can be obtained less than 5MHz. The paper presents a novel algorithm that features the large estimation range for carrier frequency offset while estimation error is not enlarged. Urban planners face a few challenges in making urban freight transport more sustainable: reduce urban congestion, provide reliable delivery windows, decrease logistic costs, reduce emissions, improve safety. New data may provide a key in tackling these issues. This paper presents an agent-based urban freight modeling framework: MASS-GT. Objective of the project is to develop a comprehensive simulation framework that describes logistic decision making in the context of urban transport planning. Empirical basis is provided by a large dataset with observed freight transport data for The Netherlands. Part of the data has been collected using an automated procedure to report complete freight trip patterns from the transport management system. This provides more dense and complete data compared to conventional internet surveys. The paper describes the design principles for agents, markets and logistic decisions. Furthermore we elaborate on the incremental development path of building a comprehensive agent-based simulation system. We describe the first baseline prototype of the agent based modeling framework that simulates all urban freight transport patterns for an urban area, in the case the agglomeration of Rotterdam. This baseline model applies a data driven simulation approach; future work will consists of further improving this framework with the implementation of discrete choice models for logistic decisions. Transportation modeling and simulation play an important role in the planning and management of emergency evacuation. It is often indispensable for the preparedness and timely response to extreme events occurring in highly populated areas. Reliable and robust agent-based evacuation models are of great importance to support evacuation decision making. Nevertheless, these models rely on numerous hypothetical causal relationships between the evacuation behavior and a variety of factors including socio-economic characteristics and storm intensity. Understanding the impacts of these factors on evacuation behaviors (e.g., destination and route choices) is crucial in preparing optimal evacuation plans. This paper aims to contribute to the literature by integrating well-calibrated behavior models with an agent-based evacuation simulation model in the context of hurricane evacuation. Specifically, discrete choice models were developed to estimate the evacuation behaviors based on large-scale survey data in Northern New Jersey. Monte-Carlo Markov Chain (MCMC) sampling method was used to estimate evacuation propensity and destination choices for the whole population. Finally, evacuation of over a million residents in the study area was simulated using agent-based simulation built in MATSim. The agent-based modeling framework proposed in this paper provides an integrated methodology for evacuation simulation with specific consideration of agents’ behaviors. The increasing demands of quality and productivity, together with the Internet of Things (IoT) technology, promote the development of intelligent manufacturing where supervisory system plays an increasing role. Verification of supervisory rules to ensure the system is error-free becomes essential. A timed automata (TA) formalism is one of the most widespread approach appropriate for the system modeling and verification. This paper proposes an approach for modeling and verification supervisory rules in production process. The behavior models of entities are translated into timed automata models. The timed automata models of all entities in workspace construct a synchronized network, which can simulate the occurrences in production process. In addition, the paper presents a method of building checking automata. Comparison of the result from supervisory system with the result from checking automata can test the supervisory rules, and analysis of the simulation process can discover the reasons of existing problems. This paper presents a binary coded evolutionary computational method inspired from the evolution in plant genetics. It introduces the concept of artificial DNA which is an abstract idea inspired from inheritance of characteristics in plant genetics through transmitting dominant and recessive genes and Epimutaiton. ANN modeling has been used to model the experimental findings for human powered flywheel motor. This paper presents data management and strategies for implementing smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) method to simulate volcano plumes. These simulations require a careful definition of the domain of interest and multi-phase material involved in the flow, both of which change over time and involve transport over vast distances in a short time. Computational strategies are developed to overcome these challenges by building mechanisms for efficient creation and deletion of particles for simulation, parallel processing (using the message passing interface (MPI)) and a dynamically defined halo domain (a domain that ”optimally” captures all the material involved in the flow). A background grid is adopted to reduce neighbor search costs and to decompose the domain. A Space Filing Curve (SFC) based ordering is used to assign unique identifiers to background grid entities and particles. Time-dependent SFC based indices are assigned to particles to guarantee uniqueness of the identifier. Both particles and background grids are managed by hash tables which can ensure quick and flexible access. An SFC based three dimensional (3D) domain decomposition and a dynamic load balancing strategy are implemented to ensure good load balance. Several strategies are developed to improve performance: dynamic halo domains, calibrated particle weight and optimized work load check intervals. Numerical tests show that our code has good scalability and performance. The strategies described in this paper can be further applied to many other implementations of mesh-free methods, especially those implementations that require flexibility in adding and deleting of particles. This paper presents a software tool to simulate a practical problem in smart grid systems. A feature of the smart grid is a system self-recovery capability in the occurrence of anomalies, such as a recovery of a power distribution network after an occurrence of a fault. When this system has a capacity for self-recovery, it is called self-healing. The intersection among areas as computer science, telecommunication, automation and electrical engineering, has allowed power systems to gain new technologies. However, because it is a multi-area domain, self-recovery simulation tools in smart grids are often highly complex as well as presenting low fidelity by using approximation algorithms. The main contribution of this paper is a simulator with high fidelity and low complexity in terms of programming, usability and semantics. In this simulator, a computational intelligence technique and a derivative method for calculating the power flow were encapsulated. This paper aims to examine the likes (“thumbs up”) network of Hungarian political parties. The network contains 7 parties’ Facebook likes network. There are 3204 nodes and 28770 edges in the network. The research question of this paper is whether there is competition between the political parties for users in Hungary, and if the number of fans, posting activity and likes connections are influential factors in reaching people. The hypothesis of the paper is that parties do try to extend their network to reach more people, and furthermore, that the use of likes and posting activity are relevant factors in the network growth. The findings of the research falsify this hypothesis, however, because parties turn out to form closed communities in the networks and have their own users and an ERGM estimate shows that the above factors have not been influential in connection development. This paper describes the results of simulations of patients’ flow in a specialized medical center. The description of a model which contains two-component is provided and this model is used to estimate load of four departments of Almazov center due to emergency patients flow with acute coronary syndrome. The results of the simulations show that there is non-linear dependency between patients’ mean arrival gap and number of patients in the departments. The model proposed in this paper could be used to plan reorganization of departments of a hospital. The paper presents the results of the cognitive modeling of the COMPUTER SCIENCE terminological system in the form of a thesaurus. The thesaurus comprises over 3000 units, which are drawn from explanatory monolingual and bilingual dictionaries of computer science terms representing the basic phenomena and processes in the professional context. Methodologically, the analysis is based on the frame model and focuses on semantic relations specific to the sphere of computer science in terms of ontological and epistemological features. Many applications of Wireless Sensor Networks such as Airborne Ad-hoc Networks (AANETs) or Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks (UWSNs) require the network architecture to be three-dimensional. In this paper, we present a terrestrial three-dimensional network architecture as well as protocol stack deployment for static sensor nodes placed at varying heights. A Dynamic Cluster-Based TDMA MAC (DCB-TDMA MAC) protocol has been developed for this network and simulated using Cooja platform. This paper considers the optimized PIDI 2 D 2 controller based on genetic algorithm for three tank liquid level control systems. The process control of the liquid level inside the tank is an important issue for today's industrial processes due to the requirement of mixing the liquid components. Thus, the designing and implementation of the controllers for such a system are major problems which need to be considered. At the moment, most controllers using in the process control are basic PID controllers. However, sometimes the poor performance for the system with PID controller will be acquired; i.e., the slow settling time and high overshoot. Therefore, this paper proposes an efficient method of tuning controller PIDI 2 D 2 parameters by using genetic algorithm (GA). According to the proposed technique in this paper, the simulation results that the improvement of the settling time and overshoot for the system is obtained by comparing with the tuning controller PID parameters based on GA and PSO techniques. This paper concentrated on the design of PID controller for air heater temperature control system. It is appeared that PID controllers are utilized in many industrial applications. However, the major problem of PID controller design is how to identify the optimal parameters of PID so that the optimal performance of the system can be obtained. Then, this paper proposes the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method for tuning optimal PID parameters for the air heater. The simulation results are achieved that the PSO optimized PID controller is able to provide an improved closed-loop system performances over the Ziegler-Nichols tuning method, and Genetic Algorithm (GA) in the perspectives of transient responses; i.e, the integral of square error (ISE), settling time and overshoot. This paper presents a technique to improve the response of single-phase voltage sag/swell detection using generalized Integrator with a feedback loop (GIFL). The GIFL provides an orthogonal signal required for evaluating the instantaneous voltage magnitude. For the GIFL, constant gain K is the key influencing its overall performance. Then, the main objective of this paper is to introduce a method for choosing the best GIFL's constant gain; speed and overshoot of the GIFL are considered with varying gain K. Both simulation and experiment were carried out in order to confirm the idea proposed in this paper; the experimental results match the simulations as expected. This technique could find its application in order to enhance the performance of FACTS devices used in single-phase power systems, especially for precise power compensation during fast transients. In this paper, the friction compensation method of SCARA robot is proposed. During the operation, the friction force in the system causes the heat to the robot and system. Since heat which occurred in the system is accumulated for a long time, the robot and system have been damaged. Moreover, performance and stability of the system have been reduced. Therefore, compensation of friction force is an important method for increase performance and stability of the system. In this paper, the disturbance observer is used with mathematic modelling of friction compensation for compensate the friction force in the system. A high efficiency cascaded half-bridge converter for contactless transformer with 1 A, 5 V and 600 kHz for mobile phone charger application is implemented in this paper by using simple PI discrete algorithm controller. The proposed target is to achieve the arch free, controllable voltage and galvanic isolation outlet and plug power transforming converter in a dc low voltage household power distribution. This paper proposes a new topology of a high step-down dc-dc converter with a conversion ratio of approximately 20 times for high-input and low-output voltage applications such as renewable system applications. This proposed converter employs only one single switch with low control complexity. In this paper, the converter configuration is presented and its operating principle under continuous conduction mode (CCM) is described. The relationship between the step-down voltage ratio and the duty cycle is also presented in order to illustrate the performance of the proposed converter. In addition, the laboratory phototype of the proposed converter is implemented. This paper analyzes the effect of unbalanced voltage on voltage rise for a grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) system, and proposes a voltage rise mitigation strategy which injects negative-sequence currents to compensate the unbalanced voltage aiming especially to reduce the voltage rise. The paper also discusses how the averaged powers related to the injected negative-sequence currents are measured by the power meter. This paper presents a 3x3 antenna array of ractangular topology is designed to operate at Ku Band. The antenna has been designed as arrays of patches, where number of elements, spacing's and feeding currents has been optimized to fulfil the requirements of low side lobe level and good cross polarization. The operating frequency of array is from 12 to 18 GHz. The antenna array has been designed and simulated on FR4 Substrate with dielectric constant of 4.4. This paper presents that, the detail steps of designing and simulating the rectangular patch antenna and rectangular patch antenna Array in Ku-band. The design is analysed by FEM based HFSS 14.0 by which return loss, 3D polar plot, Directivity, VSWR and Gain of the antenna are computed. Understanding and analysing security risks is an essential task when designing and maintaining a systems’ security. The first risk analysis should be performed during the system design. Identified risks have to be updated during the lifecycle when security controls are implemented or new threats appear. Visualization facilitates the risk analysis process, but visualizing the huge amount of risks with diverse causalities is challenging. This paper concentrates on risk visualization and related challenges. The paper presents a semantic model for risk visualization and structuring implemented into the Metric Visualization System (MVS). The proposed model and tool support make risk visualization consistent and ensures that it includes mutual connections of risks. Dealing with Alzheimer's Disease is an open problem within the ageing population context. While clinical solutions arrive, actions for improving the quality of the daily living of these patients are needed. Which solutions these can be is something experts can discuss and engineers can develop. To facilitate such discussion, and enabling a low cost experimentation of the alternatives, the paper proposes computer simulations reproducing the daily activities and the interplay of users and assisting solutions. This paper contributes with examples of such simulations and discusses how real solutions can be built upon them in the case of Alzheimer's. Land Ports of Entry (LPOEs) are facilities that control access into the U.S., as well as departures of persons and freight. While traffic simulation modeling techniques are not typically used to evaluate LPOE operational processes, they should be considered more often, because LPOEs have a significant impact on surrounding traffic conditions and vice versa. This paper proposes a methodology for developing microscopic traffic simulation models of LPOEs along the U.S.-Mexico border. The methodology consists of seven steps: (i) collect data; (ii) develop traffic or roadway network; (iii) model inspection and toll booths; (iv) develop traffic management strategies; (v) set up traffic demand; (vi) calibrate model; and (vii) validate model. The paper also presents a case study in which this methodology was followed to develop the Ysleta – Zaragoza LPOE traffic simulation model, which can be controlled from a web-based interface to help LPOE personnel without previous transportation modeling experience. This paper is devoted to an approach to the evaluation of the interdisciplinary distribution of professional or research objects (RO), and the transdisciplinary effects of their changes. RO and professionals can be evaluated on the basis of keywords in relevant scientific papers, reports, surveys, proposals, CVs, and so on. The transdisciplinary effect is apparent when the interdisciplinarity distribution has been changed. We propose formulas to evaluate this transdisciplinary effect. This approach was implemented using participants in group projects at the fourth Young Scientists Conference (YSC) on High-Performance Computing and Computer Simulation. The accuracy of the interdisciplinary vector of several participants was examined by the survey about their involvement in the team projects. This approach can be used to evaluate the compliance of a scientific team with the transdisciplinary research project (problem), as well as to assess the students’ skills in transdisciplinary environments. The aim of this paper is to further develop the original method proposed by the authors in their previous publications and submitted as a patent to shape frequency response of a vibrating plate according to precisely dened demands. The method is based on modeling the plate together with additional masses and ribs, and applying a sophisticated optimization algorithm, which issues arrangement of the masses and ribs. It has a very high practical potential. It can be used to improve acoustic radiation of the plate for required frequencies or enhance acoustic isolation of noise barriers and device casings. It can be utilized for both passive and active control. For the latter case it allows at the same time to optimally arrange actuators and sensors. In the paper there are presented, compared and discussed simulation results of the method for a plate with dierent boundary conditions: simply supported, fully-clamped and elastically restrained against rotation (corresponding to a mounting in a real device casing). Proposed optimization criteria are followed from practical scenarios, where precise modication of a vibrating plate frequency response is desired. The application of the proposed method for active control is also shown. The important additional outcome of the paper are guidelines on designing device casings in terms of rigidity in order to obtain their required vibration and noise isolation features. This paper presents an implementation of an evolutionary algorithm to control a robot with autonomous navigation in avoiding obstacles. The paper describes how the evolutionary system controls the sensors and motors in order to complete this task. A simulator was developed to test the algorithm and its configurations. The tests were performed in a simulated environment containing a set of barriers that were observed by means of a set of sensors. The solution obtained in the simulator was embedded in a real robot, which was tested in an arena containing obstacles. The robot was able to navigate and avoid the obstacles in this environment. Exploring a new environment is a huge challenge for the visually impaired. Hence there is a need for a system that is able to assist them safely during their journey. Here, in this paper, we propose a path planning with predetermined waypoints method using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm. This method computes shortest possible path given the predetermined waypoints from initial position to final position. By using predetermined waypoints which is a collection of coordinates along the pedestrian walkaway, a resulting accessible pedestrian path could be offered to the visually impaired. The system consists of a destination selection process and path planning process. For the destination selection process, a list of available places is given and the user will select the places that they want to visit from the list. The path planning process calculates path length between all nodes which includes predetermined waypoints, start point and final destination using Euclidean distance formula. The PSO algorithm will optimise possible shortest route by minimizing the total cost for path length. The simulation analyses of the proposed method have shown promising results of optimal route for different destinations. Results from this paper will be used further to explore the potential development of path guidance system for the visually impaired people by allowing them to travel independently in an unfamiliar environment. In this paper we have presented validation of proposed usability driven web based software process model (UdWbM) through simulation. We have used Software Engineering gaming tool SimSE for making simulation of a system (taken as case study) by following the steps proposed by the model.
