Abstract
- This paper addresses the observer-based H ∞ control issue of switched systems with time delays. With the event-triggered scheme, the system will sample and update relevant information only when the event conditions are satisfied. It is assumed that the system states are unavailable, thus, an observer is used to estimate the system states. It is also assumed that the system is subjected to external disturbances. By utilizing the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, several sufficient conditions are obtained to guarantee H ∞ performance of the observer-based event-triggered switched systems. Moreover, the observer-based controller is designed. In addition, a proof is given to show the existence of the lower bound on the interevent intervals so that Zeno behavior can be avoided. Finally, a numerical simulation is given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed results. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
