El objetivo de este artículo es compartir el estudio llevado a cabo en la tesis de doctorado que propuso un nuevo Modelo de Alineamiento Estratégico Personal – MAEP – que pasa por la identificación de propósitos, valores y creencias, sueños, visión de futuro, objetivos y competencias para que el individuo asuma el protagonismo de su carrera y de su vida mediante las elecciones más conscientes pautadas en la reflexión de los aspectos que, integrados, permitan la construcción de una identidad y la ejecución de acciones pertinentes en busca de una plena realización del propósito individual. Este estudio demuestra cómo el modelo proporciona una mejora en la percepción de sí mismos, del planeamiento de la carrera y del desarrollo del pensamiento estratégico de la muestra investigada y contribuye con el desarrollo de las competencias de los profesionales en posiciones estratégicas en el área de Recursos Humanos, considerando los desafíos del actual escenario y las tendencias de esta función en el futuro del trabajo. The purpose of this article is to share the study developed in the doctoral thesis which proposed a new Model of Personal Strategic Alignment - MAEP - that goes through the identification of purposes, values and beliefs, dreams, future vision, goals and competencies, so that the individual assumes the protagonism of his career and life through the most conscious choices, guided by the reflection of the aspects that, integrated, allow the construction of an identity and the execution of relevant actions in search of a full realization of the individual purpose. This study shows how the model provided an improvement in the self-perception, career planning and development of strategic thinking of the sample investigated and contributed to the development of the competencies of professionals in strategic positions in the Human Resources area, considering the challenges of the current scenario and the trends of this function in the future of work.

A literature review article, comparing mirroring, originality, and personalization in responses to the found love. Everyone can find someone more special than others. There is love and true love. The brain is wired this way, to find love. There are different types of relationships. Love can be like a shared consciousness, which can be emotional or mental resonance or an empathic connection. It would have factors like social bonding, empathy, nonverbal communication, and shared experiences. Responses to the found love will depend on the processing of the emotions, feelings, thoughts, and experiences effectively, which could be done through various original and heartfelt activities, exercises, and ideas to enhance the journey of love together. The time and space given to process, so one can learn and find ideas to respond with. A response to the one we love needs to be a combination of mirroring, originality, and personalization contributes to the overall satisfaction of the recipient. There is a right balance between mirroring, originality, and personalization depending on the personality type, personal preference, and given time and space to process and respond. In each phase of the relationship, the couple can do activities to let the found love sink in, celebrate the found love and the stage the couple is in, and process emotions, feelings, thoughts, experiences, needs, and desires. "Cherishing", is nourishment and attachment, which will give the best outcomes in the relationship and in the children coming forth out of this relationship and who are in this relationship as well. Der Lehrer August Lampe (geb. 17.01.1856) begann mit seinem Amtsantritt in Hüselitz die Schulchronik. Dabei bemühte er sich um einen umfassenderen Einblick in die Geschichte des Dorfes (auch im späteren Teil des Buches), weil die Schulakten und vermutlich auch Aufzeichnungen über das Dorf bei einem Brand zuvor vernichtet worden waren. Etliche Ergänzungen stammen aber auch von späterer Hand, sind aber keinen spezifischen Autoren zuzuordnen. Offenbar hatte Lampe die Aufzeichnung nach Themen strukturiert und zwischen den Kapiteln jeweils mehrere Seiten Platz gelassen, die später von seinen Nachfolgern gefüllt wurden oder auch leer blieben. Neben der Dorfgeschichte mit dem Kirchenneubau, der Orgelweihe, der Elektrifizierung oder Berichten über den Ersten und Zweiten Weltkrieg und dem Hochwasser 1926, widmet sich der Lehrer ausführlich der Schule. So beschreibt er das Schulgebäude sowie die Amtswohnung und ihre Unterhaltung. Gleichzeitig nennt er das Schulpersonal, wobei er auch Vorgänger seiner Stelle und Vertretungen erwähnt. Die Schulkinder werden zum Teil namentlich aufgeführt. Neben solchen genealogischen Informationen lassen sich Schilderungen zu Schulfeiern und Festen, den Beginn des „Amtlichen Schulblattes für den Regierungsbezirk Magdeburg“ ab Frühjahr 1889, Festlichkeiten des Dorfes (Goldene Hochzeit eines Kossaten), Berichten zu Gedenktagen oder Konfirmationen finden. 1897 berichtet Lampe auch über den Schulunterricht nach dem neu verabschiedeten Lehrplan. Mit Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts verändern sich die Einträge und werden erheblich kürzer, machen vor allem Mitteilungen über Visitationen, Lehrplanveränderungen, aufgenommene Schulkinder und Konfirmanden. Ab dem Schuljahr 1898/99 erfolgen allerdings auch Berichte über die einzelnen Schuljahre mit Erzählungen über Ausflüge, Feierlichkeiten etc. Ausführlich wird auf die Züchtigung und Bestrafung von Schülern eingegangen und auf Regularien zur Schule. In 1897 Lampe also reports on school lessons according to the newly adopted curriculum. With the beginning of the 20th century, the entries change and become considerably shorter, mainly reporting on visitations, curriculum changes, admitted schoolchildren and confirmands. From the school year 1898/99 onwards, however, there are also reports on the individual school years with stories about excursions, festivities, etc. The school year is described in detail. The chastisement and punishment of pupils and the school regulations are discussed in detail. The report concludes with a list of the school inventory.

This article presents an analysis of scientific research on the problem of implementing the sociocultural function of a foreign language in teaching students with special educational needs. Scientific works that reveal the purpose and content of foreign language education in the modern system of school education are considered. The provisions of the State standard of primary general education for children with special educational needs are analyzed, and the subject, personal, and meta-subject results of mastering the adapted basic general educational program of primary general education in the aspect of foreign language learning are discussed. Attention is focused on studies that offer some approaches to the implementation of the sociocultural function of a foreign language in inclusive and special (corrective) education. The main problems in the use of a foreign language as a means of socialization of students with special educational needs at the current stage are highlighted. Special attention is focused on the socio-cultural component of a foreign language at school; it ensures the involvement of students in observing the norms of a healthy lifestyle, the achievements of culture, art, and science., Подано аналіз наукових досліджень із проблеми реалізації соціокультурної функції іноземної мови у навчанні учнів з особливими освітніми потребами. Розглянуто наукові праці, які виявляють мету та зміст іншомовної освіти у сучасній системі шкільної освіти. Проаналізовано положення Державного стандарту початкової загальної освіти для дітей з особливими освітніми потребами, розглянуто предметні, особистісні та метапредметні результати освоєння адаптованої основної загальноосвітньої програми початкової загальної освіти в аспекті вивчення іноземної мови. Акцентовано увагу на дослідженнях, у яких пропонуються деякі підходи до реалізації соціокультурної функції іноземної мови в інклюзивній та спеціальній (корекційній) освіті. Висвітлено основні проблеми у використанні іноземної мови як засобу соціалізації дітей з особливими освітніми потребами на сучасному етапі. Особливу увагу зосереджено на соціокультурному складнику іноземної мови у школі, що забезпечує залучення дітей до дотримання норм здорового способу життя, здобутків культури, мистецтва, науки.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyse other types of relationship developed between auditor and auditee. The study tries to explore kinds of auditor and auditee working relationship appeared in an audit process. Theoretical framework: Research have shown that the AAR is more than just about good knowledge that should be acquired by auditors regarding their clients’ industry or how long auditors have served a client. It is also about auditors’ performance in audit tasks and in interaction with clients, or how to develop a better understanding of clients. However, that kind of relationship has not been explore enough as study on AAR most focus on professional relationship Design/methodology/approach: This study applied a qualitative approach. The interview method, in semi-structured form, was conducted to collect data. The semi-structured interview posed the same questions to all interviewees. This research involved 12 interviewees which consist of three different audit market participants in Indonesia: auditors, auditee, and users of financial statements. These participants (auditee and users of financial statements) were identified and selected from the IDX website, while participants for the auditor group were identified from BAPEPAM-LK database. Results were analysed by using NVivo software. Findings: Key findings derived from the qualitative study confirmed that some cultural values appear in participants’answers. The most common cultural values found in the interview text were: harmony; relationship prevails over task; and warm relationships are important. Indonesians interpreted the auditor-auditee relationship as a peers’ relationship: a relationship that consists of a professional/personal relationship and trust. Research, Practical & Social implications: This research nhances knowledge of the influence of cultural values on the relationship. In this type of society, individuals perceive social situations, including business relationships, in terms of close personal bonds. The personal relationship should be established first before any business can be done. service providers who are able to show warmth to customers can build trust with them. Moreover, a high-social-interaction context provides an environment in which social interaction and relationship-building activities are a primary goal. Originality/value: This research provides a more refined understanding of auditor-auditee relationship. Given ongoing globalisation and the fact that audits are performed by auditors from a multitude of nations, it is important that AAR research captures perspectives from different cultural backgrounds.

[ES] Con el paso de los últimos años, se ha podido observar cómo los organismos legisladores de Europa y España han avanzado en gran medida para adaptar el marco legislativo al avance imparable de la tecnología. Esto ha ocasionado que se haya tenido que legislar mucho más tarde de lo que tocaba debido a los problemas que les han surgido a los ciudadanos en materia de protección de datos, ya que no había un marco normativo al que acogerse para tramitar los sucesos ocurridos. Es por eso que, entre 2016 y 2018 desde la Unión Europea y España respectivamente, se adecuaron las leyes de protección de datos a los nuevos tiempos añadiendo nuevos derechos y garantías legales a las personas, creando y asignando nuevos roles y responsabilidades a la figura del responsable del tratamiento de datos personales en una empresa. A consecuencia de la creación de este nuevo marco jurídico, las empresas han tenido que adaptarse a las nuevas leyes en tiempo récord y adecuar todos sus procesos y auditorías internas para que cumplan con estas normas. De ahí que se tenga que analizar el modelo de gobernabilidad de las mismas para comprobar si cumplen con la ley vigente actualmente. En el trabajo que aquí se presenta, se va a analizar cómo una multinacional cumple con la ley de protección de datos junto con las funciones y obligaciones que tiene el Delegado de Protección de Datos de la empresa. A todo esto, incorporando en la investigación académica una herramienta que sirva como guía de cumplimiento de la RGPD en la que se analicen los distintos ámbitos de tratamiento a los que esta ley afecta de manera directa en la empresa. De esta manera, se explicarán también los riesgos a los que se expone la compañía y las medidas de protección establecidas para minimizarlos, haciendo hincapié en los procesos de negocio que involucran datos personales. This has meant that legislation has had to be passed much later than it should have been due to the problems that have arisen for citizens in terms of data protection, since there was no regulatory framework in place to deal with the events that have occurred. That is why, between 2016 and 2018 from the European Union and Spain respectively, data protection laws were adapted to the new times by adding new rights and legal guarantees to individuals, creating and assigning new roles and responsibilities to the figure of the person responsible for the processing of personal data in a company. As a result of the creation of this new legal framework, companies have had to adapt to the new laws in record time and adapt all their processes and internal audits to comply with these rules. Hence, it is necessary to analyse their governance model to check whether they comply with the law currently in force. In the work presented here, we will analyse how a multinational company complies with the data protection law along with the functions and obligations of the company's Data Protection Officer. To all this, incorporating in the academic research a tool that serves as a guide to compliance with the GDPR in which the different areas of processing that this law directly affects the company are analysed. In this way, the risks to which the company is exposed and the protection measures established to minimise them will also be explained, with an emphasis on business processes involving personal data. És per això que, entre 2016 i 2018 des de la Unió Europea i Espanya respectivament, es van adequar les lleis de protecció de dades als nous temps afegint nous drets i garanties legals a les persones, creant i assignant nous rols i responsabilitats a la figura del responsable del tractament de dades personals en una empresa. This article focuses on the educational principle of action as a means for personality development. In a climate of self-improvement and reflection, well-prepared educators can guide children and young people to be able to learn from the experience of failure in their lives. In particular, we analyze the extent to which the doing-doing methodology proposed by Tomás Morales in his work Forja de Hombres [Forge of Men] can contribute to the development of the key personal, social and learning-to-learn competency, incorporating the Sustainable Development Goal of Health and Well-Being.

В статье дается обоснование существующих проблем в образовании в аспекте их значимости для высшего образования. Анализ обозначенных проблем из различных источников дает понимание их развития для построения перспектив, направленных на возможное решение, которое можно моделировать. Комплексный анализ образовательной среды, изучение алгоритма и матрицы педагогического проектирования дали возможность сформулировать алгоритм для построения структурной модели образовательной деятельности в условиях цифровой трансформации. Пояснения некоторых терминов дают лучшее понимание смыслового содержания. В заключении даются некоторые рекомендации для построения модели, которые необходимо учитывать, чтобы не перегружать построенную модель. Представление образовательной деятельности в условиях цифровой трансформации через построение структурной модели позволяет наглядно увидеть элементы системы и выделить их взаимодействие. Analysis of the designated problems from various sources gives an understanding of their development for building perspectives aimed at a possible solution that can be modelled. A comprehensive analysis of the educational environment, a study of the algorithm and matrix of pedagogical design gave the opportunity to formulate an algorithm for the construction of the structural model of educational activities in the digital transformation. Explanation of some terms gives a better comprehension of the semantic content. The conclusion gives some recommendations for the construction of the model, which should be taken into account in order not to overload such a model. Representation of educational activities in the digital transformation through the construction of a structural model allows to see the elements of the system and highlight their interaction. Introduction. Today the question of formation of health of children and teenagers is comprehensively considered by the general system of scientific knowledge representing rather independent, purposeful cognitive multilevel activity. Aim is to define and characterize in a projection of the theory of scientific knowledge preconditions of development of the concept of health-forming technologies in the course of adaptive physical education of children of school age with hearing impairments. Material and methods: analysis and generalization of data of special scientific and methodical literature; monitoring of information resources of the Internet; sociological methods (questionnaires); method of copying (review and selection of materials from medical records); pedagogical methods (pedagogical testing, pedagogical experiment), methods of mathematical statistics. Results. According to the theory of scientific cognition, based on theoretical and empirical levels and forms of its functioning, we present the structure of definition and scientific evidence base of the prerequisites for the concept of health technologies in the process of adaptive physical education of school-age children with hearing impairments. scientifically-based socio-pedagogical, socio-economic, biological-medical, biological-physiological, ecological-environmental, ecological-cultural, personal-motivational and personal-effective provisions. La presente investigación, tiene como fin diagnosticar y diseñar un programa con base en una estrategia de mejoramiento en la utilización conveniente de elementos de uso personal (EPP) en la IPS Ecconsalud SAS, Municipio de Túquerres (N), que garantice un ambiente sano y seguro para los empleados en el funcionamiento de sus ocupaciones cotidianas, concientizándolos sobre la utilización adecuada de EPP y una postura de trabajo óptima, todo lo mencionado enfocado a la prevención de patologías o accidentes laborales dentro de la IPS Ecconsalud. Anteriormente, se plantearon varias hipótesis como que esta se genera por la falta de un buen proceso de reclutamiento y selección de personal, de las pruebas psicotécnicas. De igual manera, se vieron involucrados temas de sociología, como el nivel socio económico de los empleados y su nivel educativo, además de su impacto que este tiene en el ambiente laboral y la rotación del personal. El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como propósito conocer el impacto productivo y económico de la rotación del personal obrero en el sector de la construcción, identificar cuáles son sus principales causas a través de distintos artículos de investigación relacionados con este tema. Finalmente se dará a conocer un plan de estrategia que ayude a las organizaciones, en especial a la constructora Innova para reducir este fenómeno dentro de las empresas y realizar el análisis de los resultados obtenidos. Patient-Accessible Electronic Health Records (PAEHR) are particularly disputed in mental healthcare. We aim to explore if there is any association between patients having a mental health condition and someone unwanted seeing their PAEHR. The article highlights the poetic legacy of the war and postwar years of Ukrainian artists Mykhailo Sytnyk and Hanna Cherin, united not only by the Muse but also, albeit for a short time, by marriage. The creative tandem of poets lasted until the end of the 1940s, in the 1950s their lives diverged in the United States, but there remained works that united artists in their common life and artistic destiny. The aim of the article is to comprehend the existential paradigm of the lyrics of M. Sytnyk and H. Cherin in the artistic and biographical discourse. Materials of scientific research, in particular the texts of some poems, have been published in Ukraine for the first time and make it possible to cover the littleknown pages of the life and work of M. Sytnyk and H. Cherin in the 1940s in Europe. The article is written with the maximum preservation of the cited materials, which are important historical and literary sources in the study of the biography and work of Ukrainian artists, the disclosure of their biographical and creative discourse. To achieve this goal, several methods were used – primarily from biographical with the study of authentic sources, cultural-historical, philological, intertextual to phenomenological and hermeneutic analysis, which allow distinguishing and analyzing artistic and biographical discourse in the lyrics of M. Sytnyk and H. Cherin to explore the existential paradigm of their poetry. Elements of conceptual analysis are also used, which allow considering the lyrics of poets through the prism of dominant concepts. The married life of artists and the reasons for their divorce can be reproduced only from fragments, i.e. from the words of their friends, acquaintances, in some mentions of researchers of their work and from the poetic lines of M. Sytnyk and H. Cherin, because none of them did not mention this period after the break. The post-war period in Europe was the time not only of romantic relations between artists, marriage, and the birth of a daughter but also of successful creative activity, joint speeches at conferences, literary evenings, and other events of the DP cultural and artistic community. While in Europe, poets published their works in numerous emigrant publications and separate collections of poetry in the 1940s, existential meditations), in which the dominant concept is the lost Motherland, which is realized in the lyrics of poets through the opposition of foreign – native land. The artistic discourse of poetry of the war and post-war periods of M. Sytnyk and H. Cherin is represented by personal, intimate lyrics; civic and patriotic lyrics (in wartime – the lyrics of heroism and rank), and existential-nostalgic, anteistic lyrics associated with the loss of the Motherland. The existential paradigm of the lyrics of Mykhailo Sytnyk and Hanna Cherin in the artistic and biographical discourse is determined primarily by the circumstances of their life and creative activity – the Second World War, the difficult postwar years, and the emigration factor, which for many Ukrainian artists was decisive not only in their lives but also in their work. The common destiny of the artists was connected by the poetry of the war and the first postwar years, which reflected at the artistic level not only the story of their love – its bright and dramatic sides, but also the existential circumstances of Ukrainians in exile.

There has been a significant increase in studies on personal energy at work. Yet, research efforts are fragmented, given that scholars employ a diversity of related concepts. To bring clarity, we executed a two-fold systematic literature review. We crafted a definition of personal energy at work and a theoretical framework, outlining the dimensions, antecedents and boundary conditions. The theoretical implication of the framework is that it allows one to explain why—given similar work—some employees feel energized whereas others do not. The difference depends on the context that the employer offers, the personal characteristics of employees and the processes of strain and recovery. The paper concludes with a discussion of how future research can build on the proposed framework to advance the theoretical depth and empirical investigation of personal energy at work.

Background eHealth tools such as patient portals and personal health records, also known as patient-centered digital health records, can engage and empower individuals with chronic health conditions. Patients who are highly engaged in their care have improved disease knowledge, self-management skills, and clinical outcomes. Objective We aimed to systematically review the effects of patient-centered digital health records on clinical and patient-reported outcomes, health care utilization, and satisfaction among patients with chronic conditions and to assess the feasibility and acceptability of their use. Methods We searched MEDLINE, Cochrane, CINAHL, Embase, and PsycINFO databases between January 2000 and December 2021. PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines were followed. Eligible studies were those evaluating digital health records intended for nonhospitalized adult or pediatric patients with a chronic condition. Patients with a high disease burden were a subgroup of interest. Primary outcomes included clinical and patient-reported health outcomes and health care utilization. Secondary outcomes included satisfaction, feasibility, and acceptability. Joanna Briggs Institute critical appraisal tools were used for quality assessment. Two reviewers screened titles, abstracts, and full texts. Associations between health record use and outcomes were categorized as beneficial, neutral or clinically nonrelevant, or undesired. Results Of the 7716 unique publications examined, 81 (1%) met the eligibility criteria, with a total of 1,639,556 participants across all studies. The most commonly studied diseases included diabetes mellitus (37/81, 46%), cardiopulmonary conditions (21/81, 26%), and hematology-oncology conditions (14/81, 17%). One-third (24/81, 30%) of the studies were randomized controlled trials. Of the 81 studies that met the eligibility criteria, 16 (20%) were of high methodological quality. Reported outcomes varied across studies. The benefits of patient-centered digital health records were most frequently reported in the category health care utilization on the “use of recommended care services” (10/13, 77%), on the patient-reported outcomes “disease knowledge” (7/10, 70%), “patient engagement” (13/28, 56%), “treatment adherence” (10/18, 56%), and “self-management and self-efficacy” (10/19, 53%), and on the clinical outcome “laboratory parameters,” including HbA1c and low-density lipoprotein (LDL; 16/33, 48%). Beneficial effects on “health-related quality of life” were seen in only 27% (4/15) of studies. Patient satisfaction (28/30, 93%), feasibility (15/19, 97%), and acceptability (23/26, 88%) were positively evaluated. More beneficial effects were reported for digital health records that predominantly focus on active features. Beneficial effects were less frequently observed among patients with a high disease burden and among high-quality studies. No unfavorable effects were observed. Conclusions The use of patient-centered digital health records in nonhospitalized individuals with chronic health conditions is potentially associated with considerable beneficial effects on health care utilization, treatment adherence, and self-management or self-efficacy. However, for firm conclusions, more studies of high methodological quality are required. Aim: The COVID-19 pandemic has led to adaptation in teaching and learning methods. There is a possibility that this shift from the classroom to online learning will persist post-pandemic with implications to all involved. We explored the contribution of personal, academic stressors and environmental factors contributing to musculoskeletal pain among undergraduates due to online learning by integrating data from an online survey and one-to-one in-depth interviews. The association between musculoskeletal pain, personal, academic stressors and environmental factors among undergraduates due to online learning was also investigated. Methods: Both quantitative and qualitative methods were used. A questionnaire was completed by 179 undergraduates (34 males and 145 females) aged between 18 to 25 years old. This was followed by an online, in-depth, one-to-one interview among 10 female undergraduates who reported severe musculoskeletal pain. The two sets of findings were integrated using a triangulation protocol. Result: The three most common musculoskeletal pains experienced by undergraduates due to online learning were low back (73.2%), followed by neck (68.7%) and shoulder (58.7%) pain. The six main themes identified from the interviews were: (1) Musculoskeletal pain characteristics; (2) academic issues; (3) difficulties faced by undergraduates due to teaching and learning; (4) emotions towards work/study; (5) work environment; and (6) time spent working at a workstation. Upper back pain was identified to be associated with personal (p < 0.05) and most environmental factors (p < 0.05). From the triangulation model, it was shown that personal, academic stressors and environmental factors were mainly from the workstation, uncomfortable environment, working posture and time spent at the workstation, which all contributed to musculoskeletal pain. Conclusions: This study showed that exercise, academic stressors, and environmental factors were associated with musculoskeletal pain among undergraduates due to online teaching and learning sessions. There may be a need to integrate an online prevention of musculoskeletal pain education package based on a biopsychosocial model with online teaching and learning for undergraduates.

Purpose We evaluated the impact of personal melanoma genomic risk information on sun-related behaviors and psychological outcomes. Methods In this parallel group, open, randomized controlled trial, 1,025 Australians of European ancestry without melanoma and aged 18–69 years were recruited via the Medicare database (3% consent). Participants were randomized to the intervention (n = 513; saliva sample for genetic testing, personalized melanoma risk booklet based on a 40-variant polygenic risk score, telephone-based genetic counseling, educational booklet) or control (n = 512; educational booklet). Wrist-worn ultraviolet (UV) radiation dosimeters (10-day wear) and questionnaires were administered at baseline, 1 month postintervention, and 12 months postbaseline. Results At 12 months, 948 (92%) participants completed dosimetry and 973 (95%) the questionnaire. For the primary outcome, there was no effect of the genomic risk intervention on objectively measured UV exposure at 12 months, irrespective of traditional risk factors. For secondary outcomes at 12 months, the intervention reduced sunburns (risk ratio: 0.72, 95% confidence interval: 0.54–0.96), and increased skin examinations among women. Melanoma-related worry was reduced. There was no overall impact on general psychological distress. Conclusion Personalized genomic risk information did not influence sun exposure patterns but did improve some skin cancer prevention and early detection behaviors, suggesting it may be useful for precision prevention. There was no evidence of psychological harm.

Background Portals can assist patients in managing their healthcare. Understanding how patients with cancer use portals can facilitate improvements in patient engagement in cancer care. This study sought to determine if patients with cancer used portals differently for cancer versus noncancer purposes. The effects of geographic residence (rural vs. urban residence) and cancer stage on portal usage were also investigated. Methods We conducted a retrospective analysis of portal usage by patients seen at an NCI‐designated cancer center between 2015 and 2019. Demographics, cancer characteristics, and portal usage (number of successful logins, messages sent, and results viewed) were extracted. Messages sent and results viewed in the portal were deemed oncologist‐specific and cancer specific if sent to or ordered in medical oncology departments, respectively. Results The analysis included a total of 5950 patients with cancer. Patients were less likely to send and view oncologist‐specific messages compared to non‐oncologist‐specific messages. They were also less likely to view cancer results compared to noncancer results. Compared to urban counterparts, patients residing in rural areas had lower odds of having any logins and logged in less frequently during the year of diagnosis. Compared to patients with non‐metastatic disease, individuals with metastatic disease were more likely to become frequent portal users. Conclusions Patients may use portals differently for cancer versus noncancer purposes; urban residence and metastatic cancer were associated with more frequent usage. Further investigation can inform interventions to increase accessibility for groups at a disadvantage related to the use of this technology and to help patients better leverage portals to manage their cancer., Healthcare systems have come to increasingly rely on patient health portals to engage patients; however, patients with cancer may use portals for cancer purposes differently than for noncancer purposes. Our analysis of nearly 6000 patients with cancer suggests that there is a difference in cancer versus noncancer use and that factors such as age, rural residence, and non‐metastatic stage make patients less likely to access portals.

Exploring teachers’ identities while teaching in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) is essential. Such assists teachers to reflect, improving their teaching through various networks. Identities are conscious thoughts interrogating subconscious thoughts that drive teachers to understand their personal needs. Eleven teachers, registered for a Master of Education degree at a university in South Africa, were purposively selected for this study. The objective of this study was to understand teachers’ identities while teaching mathematics in the 4IR. Focus-group discussions, reflective activities, and one-on-one semi-structured interviews, framed by a pragmatic case study, were used for data collection. The teachers’ identities revealed that the Three Tree Rings Theory with Currere was useful when applied as the teaching framework. Such application of the theories generated three categories of teaching identities within the 4IR. Categories were societal, professional, and personal identities. The university at which these participants were registered prescribed Moodle. However, the students mostly used social media sites such as Facebook and WhatsApp. As a result, students used digital technologies even during face-to-face classes. The study concluded that, although there were elements of both personal and professional identities, the societal identity was that which drove teaching. Consequently, this study recommends that teachers should learn to reflect on, in, and for their actions, in order to address the ‘what’, ‘how’, ‘who’, and ‘why’ questions of education, natural identity, and the 4IR/5IR.

This paper explores the personal and professional connections between clinical psychologists in the United Kingdom (UK) and critical/community psychology (CCP). Specifically, it asks how clinical psychologists define the area, how they relate to it and how they apply it in their work. Twenty clinical psychologists responded to an online survey, 12 of whom went on to take part in a follow-up telephone interview. Data were analysed using inductive thematic analysis. The results are divided into three sections: i. "describing CCP": social justice and a questioning stance are considered, ii. "relating to CCP": an interplay between lifespan events and personal responses are described and iii. "applying CCP": a dynamic between role-specific applications and reality checks that either enable or constrain is illustrated. Although the continued need for a CCP is described, the results highlight both challenges and tensions of practising CCP within clinical psychology.

El presente estudio se titula: Relación entre el Engagement y la Satisfacción Laboral del personal de salud. Hospital Base II Moquegua - EsSalud, 2021, el nivel de estudio es descriptivo, relacional y de corte transversal, como objetivo se planteó establecer la relación entre el Engagement y la Satisfacción Laboral en el personal de salud. Se utilizó como técnica el Cuestionario y como instrumentos se aplicaron el Cuestionario de Engagement (Utrech Work Engagement Scale) y la Escala de Satisfacción Laboral SL-SPC; las cuales se aplicaron a 138 trabajadores. Studies about higher education management tend to ignore the analysis of career development of higher education administrators and the factors affecting their decision to accept or not to accept the position. However; the factors affecting the administrators to accept the position not only determine their management styles but also affect the quality of education. The purpose of this study is to examine the organizational and personal factors affecting the career development of higher education administrators. Organizational factors include economic and political/ideological factors whereas personal factors include educational, sociological and physiological/psychological factors. Qualitative research design was chosen in conducting this study. An interview form with 5 related questions was used. Within this context, 14 head of department from 3 foundation universities in Turkey who worked during 2017-2018 school year constituted the study group, interviews were made. According to results revealed by the study, while political/ideological, educational and physiological/psychological factors affect the career development of higher education administrators, economical and sociological factors do not affect their career development.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the relationship between qualia and language. Author will begin with the explanation of the nature of qualia using the negative method (second and third chapter), which will reveal that qualia are neither ontological properties in a traditional sense, viewed as instances of subjective experience, nor that they possess any epistemological value as such. In the fourth chapter, qualia will be confronted with language on the grounds of experience which we understand as holistic. Experience as such is not differential, which means it does not contain subject-object relationship in an ontological sense. Afterwards, phenomenologically analyzed, experience will be shown in two modes: pre-personal and personal. Pre-personal experience as unreflective cannot produce a subject-object relationship and as such is a birthplace of qualia as a stimuli-response structure. On the other hand, the possibility of personal experience depends only on consciousness. Consciousness is an active function of experience which produces the subject-object relationship by objectifying the relations between itself and the other. Such objectification is only possible within the boundaries of language which is constituted as a relationship of meanings; which is to say that without meaning there is no object at all. The final conclusion of the paper refers to the bridge connection between qualia and language (pre-personal and personal) which is established by consciousness.

Die organisierte Weiterbildung befindet sich in einem vielschichtigen Wandel. Die Umstände dafür gehen teilweise aus managerialen Aktivitäten hervor, sind in hohem Maße aber umweltlich induziert - durch gesellschaftliche, insbesondere wirtschaftliche und arbeitsmarktliche Anpassungen. Veränderte Nachfrage, Digitalisierungstendenzen und demografische Veränderungen beanspruchen die Organisationen des quartären Bildungssektors für eigene Profilierungs- und Entwicklungsprojekte. Dabei verändern sich auch grundlegende Entscheidungskriterien, kommunikative und personelle Muster. Der vorliegende Beitrag soll Möglichkeiten und Begrenzungen der organisatorischen Transformation der Weiterbildung skizzieren. Abschließend werden Zugriffe für das Management von Weiterbildungsorganisationen betrachtet.

Seit den 1970er-Jahren werden Einrichtungen der Erwachsenenbildung maßgeblich durch ihr hauptberuflich pädagogisches Personal geprägt. Meist sind diese Fachkräfte über Jahrzehnte für ihre Organisation tätig. Mit ihrem Erfahrungswissen gestalten sie das Profil, die Strukturen und die Organisationskultur der Bildungseinrichtung nachhaltig mit. Die strukturellen und strategischen Konsequenzen, die sich aus dem Ausscheiden dieser Wissensträger:innen ergeben, betreffen alle Bereiche einer Organisation. Um die personellen Übergänge mit einem neuen, meist heterogen aufgestellten Team erfolgreich zu gestalten, braucht es neben den gängigen Werkzeugen des Managements ein Bewusstsein für die mit dem Wechsel einhergehenden Herausforderungen und ein hohes Maß an kollegialem Miteinander.

The literature on microcredit programs has largely focused on positive socioeconomic outcomes and low accessibility issues in farming areas and has provided less insight into the effects of easily acquired microcredit in pastoral areas. Using a case study approach, and econometric models, this paper addresses this gap by examining why and how easily acquired microcredit loans in Inner Mongolian pastoral areas increase the risk to the financial security of households or livelihood risk. Results show that existing microcredit programs increase livelihood risk because loan and repayment requirements do not align with the husbandry production cycle of contemporary Inner Mongolian pastoralists. This misalignment forces pastoralists to borrow from usurers to repay bank loans. Furthermore, households that need to borrow from usurers typically own smaller numbers of livestock and are less likely to be able to repay the usurers by selling animals. Instead, they tend to increase their bank loans in the coming year to repay the previous year’s debt, trapping them in a vicious and ultimately impoverishing circle of annual loans they cannot fully pay back, and feeding increasing debt. We suggest that microcredit programs in semiarid areas should be in sync with the local production cycle and recognize environmental constraints that cause high variation in production seasonally and year to year. Our results supplement previous findings on microcredit applications and are particularly pertinent for other semiarid areas of the world. Rapid technological change and globalization have created new challenges when it comes to the protection and processing of personal data. In 2018, Brazil presented a new law that has the proposal to inform how personal data should be collected and treated, to guarantee the security and integrity of the data holder. The General Law Data Protection - LGPD, was sanctioned on September 18th, 2020. Now, the citizen is the owner of his personal data, which means that he has rights over this information and can demand transparency from companies regarding its collection, storage, and use. This is a major change and, therefore, extremely important that everyone understands their role within LGPD. The purpose of this paper is to emphasize the principles of the General Law on Personal Data Protection, informing real cases of leakage of personal data and thus obtaining an understanding of the importance of gains that meet the interests of Internet users on the subject and its benefits to the entire Brazilian society.

Zum 1. Januar 2019 trat das Gesetz zur „Weiterentwicklung der Qualität und zur Teilhabe in der Kindertagesbetreuung“ (KiQuTG) in Kraft, das unter der Bezeichnung „Gute-KiTa-Gesetz“ bekannt wurde. Im Beitrag wird die These vertreten, dass die durch dieses Gesetz bereitgestellten Mittel erstens gezielt und prioritär für die Verbesserung der Struktur-, Prozess- und Ergebnisqualität in Kindertageseinrichtungen genutzt werden sollten. Zweitens wird argumentiert, dass nur durch eine einrichtungs- und sozialraumbezogene Konzentration der Ressourcen wirksame Effekte hinsichtlich des Ausgleichs sozial bedingter Nachteile in Bezug auf Bildungs- und Teilhabechancen zu erwarten sind. Ein entsprechender Vorschlag wird am Beispiel Thüringen erläutert. (DIPF/Orig.), On 01.01.2019, the so-called „Further Development of Quality and Participation in Early Childhood Education and Care Act” (KiQuTG), known as “Good Day-Nursery Act”, came into effect. In this paper we support the position that the related state funding should primarily be used for improving the quality of structure, processes and out-comes of early childhood education and care. Furthermore, we argue that the consequences of social inequality (e.g., less educational and participatory opportunities) can only be effectively reduced by a funding model, which focusses on institutions with a high number of children living in disadvantaged circumstances or located in underprivileged areas. We explain our argument using Th uringia as an example. Such models can also be understood as signals for the school system, as effects of school’s social environment have been already pointed out for a long time. (DIPF/Orig.)

The work discusses a correlative relationship between the notions of the personal and the private in the context of biblical psalmist’s piety. Elements of anthropology (heart, soul, face) will obtain considerable importance, particularly the ideas of face and soul (פנה and נפש). These will be corresponding to the Greek idea of προσοπων (prosopon), person. The authors will insist on the distinction between the ideas of personal and private, but they will also recognize the interdependence of these ideas, in recognition that the individual and the societal, are both contributions in the building of the subject as the self. In Paul’s Hymn to Love (1 Cor. 13) the complementary nature between the personal and the private is evident. There we find both passive and active subject’s role claiming this double aspect of the human subject - personal and private. Discussion in this work follows long-term debates over the nature of the subject, its personality, and its privacy.

The following paper discusses as a research question the effects of increased migration by refugees and asylum-seekers on German adult education centres (Volkshochschule - VHS). Other studies have focused on the effects of co-called integration courses on learners, their trajectories, or general societal effects, such as inclusion in the labour market. In these studies, adult education was perceived as a means of how to deal with migration and integration, and the research was less focused on how migration and integration affects adult education centres. Based on modernity theories, this study used quantitative analysis in order to determine if the approximately 900 German adult education centres have changed in the last two decades due to increased migration and different legal frameworks. Program analysis were used in previous studies, while here the provider statistics were used for a longitudinal data analysis. This analysis focused on the following three factors: professional staff, the fields/subjects of provision, and financial sources.

The purpose of this investigation was to deepen understanding of how farmer personal features and farm characteristics affect the profitability of backyard fish farms in south- south Nigeria. In order to achieve the aim of the study, primary data were collected on farmer and farm-based variables, using questionnaire from randomly selected fish farmers in 2018. Nested regression models were estimated to evaluate the separate and combined effects of farmer and farm characteristics of profitability. The results indicates that the mean age was 41 years, 84.4% of them were male and majority (90.0%) had secondary education and above. The mean farming experience was 8 years with mean household size of 9 persons. The findings revealed that backyard fish farming was profitable with a total revenue of N2, 233,800 (6111.63 USD), a total cost of N1, 404,280 (3842.08 USD) with a net income of N829520 (2269.55 USD) and BCR of 1.59. The benefit-cost ratio (BCR) of 1.59 implies that every N1.00 invested in backyard fish farming will yield additional income of N0.59k. The result shows that backyard fish farms profitability responds positively to farmers personal characteristics (age, years of experience, gender, education and family size). Introduction: Biochemistry laboratories like any other laboratory contain certain inherent dangers and hazards for the students. Proper guidelines regarding laboratory safety are missing in Biochemistry curriculum. So, skill training about laboratory safety in Biochemistry laboratory will be useful for the MBBS students. Aim: To train the undergraduate medical students about laboratory safety using “Safety measures in Biochemistry Laboratory” module and to assess their perception about this module. Materials and Methods: A prospective interventional study was conducted in which 100 students of first year MBBS 2017 batch were included which were divided into study and control groups. In Study Group, 50 students were trained in the topic of laboratory safety using a module on “Safety measures in Biochemistry Laboratory” which included three sessions of didactic lectures and two sessions of hands-on training. In Control Group, 50 students were not given any intervention. Outcome of training was assessed with the help of “Biochemistry Laboratory Safety Index” (BLSI) scores, which was designed by authors and was validated from 10 external subject experts of the Biochemistry Department. Pre-test and post-test marks of study and control group participants were compared using paired t-test for each group. Absolute learning gain (Post-test score-Post-test score) and relative learning gain (Post-test score-Pre-test score/Pre-test score) was calculated. Results: Absolute learning gain for control and study group was 0.11 and 5.53, respectively, while relative learning gain for control and study group was 0.16 and 89.62 respectively.
