The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of personnel work in education, specifically in kindergarten. The aim of the work is the analysis and evaluation of the activities of the kindergarten principal in the field of personnel management with a focus on personnel procedures, the acquisition, selection and development of employees. Its content is an analysis of this issue based on theoretical background, questionnaires and interviews. The first part of the bachelor's thesis brings a theoretical framework of the issue, the examined role of the manager, management and leadership, decision-making and communication. Practical part focuses on the process of personnel management in a private kindergarten. The results of the survey examine in detail the current issues of personnel management from the perspective of the principals of private kindergartens and recommendations for their practice are proposed. The diploma thesis is focused on the planning of personal development of employees in the context of the process of performance management in the organization. Attention is paid to the role and function of personal development planning in achieving the set goals in the process of performance management. The theoretical part defines concepts of performance management, education and development and personal development planning and describes theories of these concepts. The analytical part, based on a study of internal documents and interviews with managers, describes how the work performance of employees in Czech-Moravian Guarantee and Development Bank is managed. The result of this research was identification of weaknesses in the application of the concept of work performance management in the organization. Finally, recommendations are proposed in order to streamline the mentioned processes in the organization. Substitute family care is a frequently mentioned topic in the Czech Republic, especially in connection with the high number of children placed in institutional facilities. Foster care, as a one of the forms of substitute family care, was registered within the amendment to the Act on Social and Legal Protection of Children No. 359/1999 Coll. It was in January 2013 and a new concept of support and definition of foster parents' rights and obligations was defined. One of these obligations is to conclude a foster care agreement either with the municipal authority of the municipality with extended powers or with a non-governmental non-profit organization which is entrusted with the exercise of social and legal protection of children and with foster care agreements. This diploma thesis focuses on the personnel activities of non-governmental non-profit organizations that accompany foster families and on the key accompanying workers themselves as well. The aim of this thesis was to analyse the activities of a particular firm according to its implementation of diversity management. This also includes the assessment of the achievement of objectives and implementation of the strategy of this company in the field of diversity. Principles of the concept of diversity management were defined and the selected firm was characterized – Česká pojišťovna, a.s. The empirical part of the thesis focused on the analysis of opinions and perceptions of employees and management. The results suggest that Česká pojišťovna is successfully implementing the concept of diversity management. The critical responses from employees can be effectively solved and then improve the level of implementation.

This diploma thesis deals with recruitment and selection of the teaching staff in alternative nursery schools. The theoretical part defines personnel management and characterizes its main tasks. Furthermore, it focuses on recruitment and selection of staff. It describes ways of implementations, methods and sources, which are frequently used for recruitment and selection of the teaching staff. It defines selected types of alternative nursery schools, the role of the headmaster and the teacher. The practical part is based on quantitative survey. The results of the survey describe methods and ways of implementations, which are most frequently used by headmasters or human resources officers when recruiting the teaching staff. Furthermore, the results are used for creating a general comprehensive personnel plan for recruitment and selection the teaching staff in alternative nursery schools, which can be used by headmasters of nursery schools (especially the alternative ones) or as a study material in the area of human resources.

This diploma thesis deals with HR marketing in IT companies in the online environment and on social networks. The aim of the thesis is to propose marketing recommendations for recruitment policy on social networks and online portals for companies in the field of information technologies in Brno. Qualitative research is conducted throughout in-depth interviews with candidates, staff, and interview with employers. On the basis of obtained primary and secondary data obtained, recommendations for the recruitment of entities moving on this market have been proposed.

The thesis is based on the needs of non-medical staff members in acute psychiatric care. The main aim of the thesis is to identify the needs of staff members and the relationship to their work. The theme is focussed on theoretical part and formed by information about the needs, motives and motivation in general within a working context. It further focuses on the branch of mental health care, describing the history of psychiatric nursing and current trends in psychiatric care. It then provides an analysis of specifics of psychiatric nursing and goes on to present the possibilities of professional support of the nursing staff. The practical part describes a qualitative study that aims on identification of needs of non-medical staff members working on acute psychiatric unit. The result of the study is formed by 23 identified domains of the needs implanted into the theoretical framework of Maslow's hierarchy of needs. In making recommendations for practise the author uses two attitudes for practical implementation of the results: 1. the results are rearranged into Herzberg's two factor model of motivation, 2. the mind map is used to capture the most dominant groups of needs and their mutual interferences. Information and methodological basis of the study are legal sources, textbooks, manuals, articles from periodicals of experts in management, personnel management, economic analysis. The theoretical part includes of the scientific and theoretical foundations: the concept, the essence, the main objectives and functions of personnel management. The analytical part includes of the analysis of human resources of management system, personnel training and motivation system of company "M 3 Production" and identified the main deficiencies.

This thesis presents a comparison evaluation and remuneration system in selected institutions, public administration and private sector and evaluating their effectiveness. The aim of the work is based on personal interviews with recruiters in selected institutions determine differences but also the connection between the two sectors and to recommend possible improvements to processes within the institution. The theoretical part explains basic knowledge of evaluating and rewarding employees. These theoretical knowledge is then examined in the empirical part. Based on the questionnaire research is determined the current situation between Czech employers and employee preferences. From personal interviews with recruiters ensues specific differences between the sectors, but also among the institutions themselves within the sector. The conclusion presents recommendations and outcomes from the obtained information.

This work deals with project management in chosen company. It has two parts. The first part is theoretical, which is focused to theoretical treatment of the subject. It explains what is the project, management of projects, organizations of projects, processes of project management, what is target of project, communication, control, changes and risks and more. In the practical part I focused to concrete company and project management and than I analyzed concrete project. Name of the mentioned company is OHL ŽS, a.s. It is company from Spain, which acts all over the world. In the Czech Republic has the base in Brno. This company has several divisions and every of them is focused to different professional architecture. I have chosen division of structural engineering. This division builds all kinds of buildings. It could be construction of new buildings or reconstruction. To analysis of chosen project I used various business documents, contracts with investor or suppliers, document which include billing, timetable. I especially used my experience with projects of this company, and I was part of this project. Name of this project is Reconstruction of cladding including replacement windows and insulation. During the analysis of project I found a couple major gaps. If we could avoid these gaps, we could increase profit. These graphs is especially in management. At the beginning there were appointed two temporary construction managers. They doesn't care about result project, because they knew that they will not be to the end of the project. These gaps are because there is missing motivation system. Project manager can´t affect results of employees. It doesn´t depend on performance of employees, they always has the same wages. For elimination of these gaps I proposed several suggestions for improvement. The first suggestion is modification and extension of motivation system. New motivation system include personal evaluation. This evaluation depends on performance of employee. The second part is bonus from over profit. The next suggestion is make a new working position. This position would take care about controlling and project documentation. During the building project, especially at the end is construction manager very busy. It depend of decision of construction 63 manager what kind of activity will have prefer. Project documentation and administration or controlling of building works. If they are doing everything correct and technology are respect. Suggested position would take care about invoices, real work, which is done, project documentation, controlling of budget. The third suggestion is purchase of small machinery such as chipping hammers and drills. At this time they rent all devices. Rent is higher than purchase price. The last suggestion is use credit to restoration of fleet. At this time they have obsolete fleet, because the bought all cars by cash. It is not conveniently.

Final thesis describes to what extent the current school practice puts attention to personality qualities of headteacher in area of leadership. The topic is based on the experience, knowledge and abilities that use the present headmasters of elementary schools in practice. The aim of the work and selected combined investigation using methods of "shadowing" of structured and unstructured interviews and a questionnaire survey was to describe the extent to which personal qualities headteacher of elementary schools appear in contemporary educational practice in area of leadership. In the theoretical part, the author focused on gathering information from a wide resource that can provide a wider range of these areas (psychology, leadership, self-management, self-esteem, etc.). Utilization of personnel management in volunteering The diploma theses deals with a comparison of methods of personnel management in business and volunteering and answers the question of whether coordinators of volunteers utilize knowledge of personnel management in their work or whether they choose different strategies. Four theoretical chapters introduce the necessary information to understand the practical part. The first chapter anchors the area of volunteering by stating the basic concepts. The text continues to analyze the law on volunteering in more detail and thus provides insight into legislation in the area of volunteering. The description of volunteer centres and their function in the work with volunteers gives basic picture of this topic, before moving on to the main chapter, which discusses the different elements of human resource management and highlights the common and different approaches when working with staff and volunteers, as described in the literature. The empirical part then captures the methodology of the survey, its analysis and the conclusions which could be drawn on the ground of a limited number of realized interviews. The thesis is devoted to theoretical problems of public administration in the Czech Republic, its institutions, instruments, exercised personnel activities and their peculiarities in the public administration, including defining the status of civil clerk. Further attention is paid to the management of organizational behavior in administrative organizations. In practical terms, the emphasis is primarily on how the ongoing activities of selected personnel, primarily evaluation, selected at public authorities (Generální finanční ředitelství and Úřad městského obvodu Ostrava-Jih) and what style of management executives of these agencies most frequently.

This diploma thesis investigates the human resource management in Junak. It focuses on the basic organisational units in Junak. The topic of the diploma thesis follows the personal areas from Strategy 2022, which contains visions that are supposed to be fullfilled by 2022. The aim of this study is to monitor the practice of human resource management in organisational units with good people management. The theoretical part involves explanations of human resource management fundamental terms and engages in relevant subjects which are related. The empirical part is divided into two areas. The first one introduces the Scout movement in general, the Scout organisation in Great Britain and the organisation Junak and its strategy. Development of new types of organizations such as a Virtual organization brought for society certain possibilities and opportunities which usually are named as advantages, but also they can be observed as challenges or even named as a problems within organization. Models and methods applied in personnel management should be adequate and meet requirements of markets and present newest scientific mind in order not to cause decrease of competitiveness, loss of potential markets, not to cause social problems, such as unemployment, migration, disproportion between regions, etc. Due to the following reasons, the perception of personnel improvement problems and their solutions stand not only for business development factor. These circumstances formed the topicality of the article subject. Virtual organizations formation priorities contains personnel selection of virtual organization, determination of work nature principles, determination of personnel motivational factors, determination of size for the most productive intellectual activity team, problems of education and experience coordination, others. In organizing business activities under current globalization trends and adapting personnel management by network model, implementation of these priorities should be foreseen by formed virtual organizations’ goals and strategies, as well as personnel management process. Management by network has to be developed using systematic approach, emphasizing priorities in personnel management activity, taking into consideration defined organizational tasks and possibilities to coordinate them with personnel goals, together organizational activity has to be distinguished by flexibility and adaptability, according to market requirements. Goal of the research was to construct a model of personnel management of virtual organization that create possibilities to manage geographically dispersed personnel using information technologies. Methods of the research – there was applied systematic analysis that allowed disclosing personnel management specifics under the conditions of virtual organizations’ development. In performing the research there were used methods of comparison, summarization and documentary analysis.

The Thesis on topic The analysis of public administration from the perspective of selected national economic parameters in the Czech Republic from 1989 to 2012 summarizes these issues in order to understand the complexity of the topic. Those who said the issue more interested, this work should help to summarize the progress and crucial moments of public administration reform in the Czech Republic, to understand the principles and functioning of public administration and allow a comparison of public administration in the context of a centrally planned economy compared to today's economy operating under the market mechanism. The theoretical part covers the economic base of the topic and deals with basic definitions of the public sector, respectively public administration, personnel management and financial flows at all levels of public administration. Following chapters focus on the development of public administration from the beginning of the transformation of the economy in 1989, when the first signs appear necessary of reform public administration, until now. The thesis refers to the fact, that the aim of the state is considered to achieve a state of public administration, where it will be termed as a whole to be effective. The base for quality as well as effective function of those facilities (schools) is created by human resources. Analysis and evaluation of personal management at selected schools located in the area of Chrudim district, incl. assessment of requirements for improvement of state-of-art situation, are the aim of the thesis. The positions of an officer and of an educational facility employee are compared. Individual activities of personal management are also engaged next to it. The thesis is based on professional literature as well as on the Act No. 561/2004 Coll. on pre-school, basic, secondary, tertiary professional and other education. The name of the topic of this diploma thesis is The enterprise management with focus on personnel management in selected medium-sized enterprise. The main tasks of the thesis is to analyse the current situation of the enterprise management with focus on personnel management and to propose solutions to current problems and opportunities for improvement of the current situation. For analysis of the enterprise management and personnel management were used two research methods: a semicontrolled interview and a reseach method using questionnaires. The semicontrolled interview was applied to find out how management sees the current state of enterprise management and personnel management. The research method using questionnaires was applied to find out what would employees change to their satisfaction and to find out how employees see the current state of the personnel management. Altogether the employees are satisfied with the work. In general, the enterprise management and the personnel management in the selected enterprise can be evaluated as good and effective but with minor deficiencies. The management could be more open to change and respond to significant changes more quickly. To eliminate deficiencies were suggested the improvements of possibilities of proposing amendments by employees, to improve communication from the bottom up, support career development, training and staff development. For improving the atmosphere in the workplace and strengthening relationships was suggested organizing social event and sports day. Other proposed improvements in personnel management are more frequent appreciation of a job well done, streamlining remuneration by employee performance and ensure greater diversity of work tasks.

Title: Organization of volunteers in the Czech House during The Summer Olympic Games in London Objectives: The thesis is focused on issues of choice and management of volunteers for the Czech House in London, which was the main meeting place for fans and athletes and also the place for public presentation of the Czech Republic during the Summer Olympic Games 2012. The aim is to describe the organization of volunteers and to suggest changes that could be utilized in the next years or when working with volunteers during similar events. Methods: The information have been obtained by the interview with the chief coordinator of volunteers, informal interviews with volunteers and my own experience as an volunteer in the Czech House (observation). Results: The methods used have brought enough information to create a complete description of the organizational system of volunteers in the Czech House. The segmentation on individual personnel actions contributed to the clarity of this description. For most of the actions there was a relevant content from the organizational system of volunteers. The aim of the thesis is to find out a way that new, beginning teachers are admitted and integrated into a process at the elementary art school and how they are satisfied with school management's approach in this field. Specifically, the thesis provides answers to where teachers learn about vacant positions. What caused them the most problems and what they lacked in entering into employment. How they get a feedback on their work. Whether they are willing to work beyond their duties. And also what they appreciate about the school director. This bachelor thesis is intended to serve as a feedback and a tool for elementary art school directors when working with beginning teachers. The work deals with the cultures and its impact on communication of the organization. It focuses on the influence of cultural background and personality related to the specifics of communication between workers and managers communicate with employees. Attention is focused on the differences in the behavior of workers from different cultural environment, the importance of specific knowledge of other cultures to overcome differences and optimal cooperation in intercultural environments. In this thesis certain elements of the Japanese management model are examined in the context of Euro-Atlantic management model. As a single integral model of Japanese management does not exist, firstly, two groups of selected elements of Japanese management are explained in the theoretical part. My thesis is focused on the personnel management in public administration at local self-government units, which currently gains importance due to the ongoing reform. Human resources form the basis for quality and efficient work of offices. The aim of thesis is to analyze and evaluate personnel management in selected offices of Prague including recommendations for its improvement. The theoretical part, mainly focused on role of official in public administration and activities of personnel management, in addition to scientific literature is based mainly on Act No. 312/2002 Coll., on Officials of local self-government units. The practical part is based on the results of empirical research on which the current evaluation is made and provided recommendations.

The thesis called "Analysis of the Human Resource Management Effectiveness in the Area of Public Administration Focused on the Development and Education of Employees" deals with procedures of human resources first at the general level and then continues by introducing and evaluating their characteristics in the area of public administration. The attention is mainly paid to education of employees and descriptions of individual methods and procedures. Additionally, applicability in public administration where strict legislation is enforced is studied. My thesis is a synthesis of both theoretical knowledge and its concrete application at the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic. All human resources activities are evaluated as the research in isolated areas would not be objective. At the end of the thesis, individual aspects of human resources and human resources activities in the area of public administration resulting from practical findings received from the Ministry of Transport are critically evaluated and certain recommendations which could lead into increase in effectiveness of the human resource management in the area of public relations are set.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the internal communication at Raiffeisenbank a.s., identify strengths and weaknesses and suggest measures to streamline the communication process between the target groups of internal communication. Theoretical bases are prepared using available literature and Internet resources devoted to internal communication. The practical part is to evaluate the results of the survey made among the selected employees of the bank.

Annotation Subject of this thesis is to analyze personnel marketing in a particular company and its relationship to recruitment procedure. Theoretical part of the paper is focused on identification of the term personal marketing, is orientated on more detailed description of personal activities. This part results by preparation of technical literature. The practical part is focused on personnel marketing and recruitment procedure in Ceskoslovanska obchodni banka, a.s. Based on description of particular activities, their analysis and comparison with Komercni banka and Ceska sporitelna, I put a recommendation for improvement and optimization of this process. The intention of the thesis is to propose measures to strengthen the perception of CSOB's brand as a quality employer and will help in obtaining a large number of relevant candidates from the labor market

The building industry economic situation has shown a continuous descending tendency starting from 2008 in the field of efficiency and future development. Individual building companies have to undertake previously banned optimisation processes that affected both the company itself and its employees. Moreover, when assessing the role of the state and its involvement in the stabilisation of the current "bitter" situation, we cannot but state that such an involvement is zero. Therefore, this paper has two core objectives: the first one is to "define methods of the economisation of the personnel management in the building industry" and to "identify the economic policy of the state relative to building organisations and to determine the impacts of such policy on the behaviour of building organisations".

The thesis "Personnel Management of the Selected Company Operating in Tourism" aims at motivation of workers. Its key point is to analyse the factors which influence work motivation and job satisfaction that the bus attendants employed by the STUDENT AGENCY have. Another point is to evaluate the current situation and suggest possible steps for improving it. The thesis consists of two parts: theoretical and practical. In the former, the concept "personnel management" is explained and particular development phases of personnel work concentrating on the most recent approach to it -- human resources management - are described. The next part deals with problems of work motivation where different forms of work motivation, basics of selected motivation theories and other problem fields are mentioned. Latter part includes a presentation of the STUDENT AGENCY, especially the department of bus attendants. Further, an analysis of the factors influencing work motivation and job satisfaction of the employees at the department is carried out. In the conclusion, particular steps that could help boost motivation of the employees working at the department are suggested.

The diploma thesis examines human resource management in Nemocnice Jindrichuv Hradec Hospital, Inc. In the beginning, I described how the hospital management and hospital owner. In the next section, I analyze personnel activities. At the end, I present the final evaluation, which includes the evaluation of the hospital management, individual personnel activities, and propose measures that will improve hospital management and leadership of human resources.

The subject of the thesis deals with the theory of needs in general and introduces some basic theories. One of them, the Herzberg two-factor theory is then used as a premise for the research, which intends to analyze the specific needs among the employees and voluntaries of {\clqq}Centrum U Větrníku``, which is a contact and counseling center for persons endangered by addiction in Jihlava. The second part of the thesis presents the needs analysis itself which was realized by a mixed-method research. Its first step was quantitative, the results of which were used in the second, qualitative phase. This method of examination in the field of needs fulfillment proved its worth and is recommended for use to other service providers.

The goal of my thesis is to clarify the issue of communication and activities of manager at the company. In the theoretical part is first explained the general principles of communication, then the theory comes to a point of the description of the course of communication within the company, followed by the definition of manager's personality, his abilities and skills, which is complete range of activities in which the manager works with the personnel management. The practical part presents an evaluation questionnaire carried out in a particular company, the results should lead to the verification set of four hypotheses. In conclusion, it is evaluated the current situation in the company and proposed certain recommendations that could improve the status of some problem areas in the company.

Thesis "Procedural and financial aspects of human resources management in public administration, evaluation for selected cities", it focuses on personnel management activities in public administration. The thesis based on general procedures which are generally aplied to the private sector, it builds on the personnel management practices that are specially adapted to legislation for public administration and describes their practical application in the city of Nymburk and in the city of discrict Prague 7. Finally the present thesis assessts the above mentioned human resources management practices in public administration and formulates proposals for improvement.

The master thesis consists of a theoretical part and a practical one. In its theoretical part, first are defined key notions relevant to the topic of the thesis. Further there are explained the key areas of personnel management which are important for a practical part. The practical part is focused on a personnel management of municipality of the city Jihlava. The main part is a reserch that is conducted directly between the managers of the municipality. The practical part also deals with recruitment and training of stuff. In the conclusion of the practical part, the established data are interpreted; the results of this interpretation are certain recommendations of how to improve the quality of education at the Faculty of Management.

Recruitment and selection of employees is one of the most important activities in the personal department of company. The aim of my thesis is to analyze the process of recruitment and selection of employees, firstly from the theoretical point of view and further from the practical experience in the company ČSOB, a.s. I have summarized theoretical findings and recommendations regarding the process of recruitment and selection of employees according to the available literature in the practical part of my thesis. The practical part continue with the analysis of this process in the company ČSOB, a.s. This analysis has been realized on the basis of internal documentation, interviews with employees of the personal department and my own findings acquired by participation in selection procedure and assessment centre. As a last source of information for evaluation of this process I have used results of questionnaire examination that was realized in cooperation with the bank in April 2010. To finish my thesis I have summarized possible recommendations for improvement of the process of acquirement and selection of employees in ČSOB, a.s.
