Введение. На основе лингвостилистического анализа статей из англоязычных военных журналов изучаются языковые средства выразительности публикаций военной направленности, глубокое знание которых позволяет читающему понимать не только информативный, но и эмоциональный элемент их содержания. Цель – описать многообразие и особенности применения языковых средств выразительности в современных англоязычных военных публикациях. Материал и методы. Изучены диссертационные работы и научные статьи в периодических изданиях по филологии германских языков за последние 10 лет, а также публикации в таких англоязычных журналах военной направленности, как Air Force News, Australian Defence Force Journal, Canadian Military Journal, Defence Turkey, Raider, освещающие деятельность и состояние вооруженных сил Великобритании, США, Австралии, Турции, Канады и других государств. Использованы общенаучные методы теоретического анализа, наблюдения, обобщения, конкретизации. Результаты и обсуждение. Обзор публикаций по филологии германских языков за последнее десятилетие подтверждает недостаточную изученность проблематики использования языковых средств выразительности в англоязычных военных публикациях и актуальность проведения более глубоких исследований в этой области языкознания. Анализ содержания англоязычных военных журналов указывает на то, что в статьях военной направленности доминируют военно-политический и научно-технический стили, хотя в них также комбинируются элементы художественного, разговорного и рекламного текста, а соединение элементов различных функциональных стилей в публицистических текстах придает им не только типичные черты, но и выразительность. Языковые средства выразительности, используемые в военных публикациях, можно разделить на три группы: фонографические (аллитерация, ритм, морфологические и лексические повторы), лексические (эпитеты, метафора, обыгрывание фразеологизмов, жаргонизмы) и синтаксические (односоставные предложения, эмфатические конструкции, инверсия, антитеза, прямая речь, цитата), основной функцией которых является информирование, привлечение внимания, влияние на читателя, внедрение в его подсознание определенных психологических установок. Наиболее распространенными стилистическими тропами, используемыми в рассмотренных в рамках данной работы военных журналах, оказались односоставные предложения, эмфатические и параллельные конструкции, цитаты и прямая речь, метафоры, аллитерация, рифма и ритм. Заключение. В данной работе впервые были проанализированы особенности применения языковых средств выразительности в современных англоязычных военных публикациях. Результаты проведенного исследования могут быть практически применимы как для дальнейшего теоретического изучения рассматриваемой проблемы, так и практически для повышения качества иноязычного образования курсантов и слушателей военных образовательных учреждений в рамках как основной программы подготовки, так и в ходе обучения на курсах военных переводчиков по программе дополнительного профессионального образования.

В статье рассматривается экспансия метафор из сферы-источника "неживая природа" в сферу-мишень "Движение BLM". The article examines the expansion of the metaphors of the source domain “Inanimate Nature” into the target domain of the “Black Lives Matter movement”. The study analyzes a corpus of 150 metaphors used to describe the BLM protesters by the Seattle Times journalists in the period from May to September 2020. The research methodology is based on the cognitive-discursive approach to metaphor analysis.

В статье предлагается лингвосинергетический анализ медиадискурса с целью выявления динамики взаимодействия национальной идентичности и глобальной идентичности на примере реализации концепта "русский язык" в современных дискурсивных практиках российских СМИ. This article offers a cognitive linguosynergetic analysis of media discourse in order to identify the dynamics of interaction between national identity and global identity by the example of the implementation of the concept of “Russian language” in modern discursive practices of Russian mass media.

В статье рассматривается аргументативный потенциал метафорических выражений, способствующих оказанию манипулятивного воздействия на политическую аудиторию. The article examines the argumentative potential of metaphorical word combinations containing the lex-eme “light”, that help exercise a hidden manipulative influence on political audience. The raised issues seem to be particu-larly urgent if one takes into account that the material of the study includes newspaper articles of the American media de-voted to the topic of the complication of the US-RF relations, published over the period from 2014 to 2018.

Статья посвящена исследованию особенностей использования дисфемизмов в качестве средств языкового манипулирования для реализации стратегии дискредитации в англоязычных средствах массовой информации. Авторы обращаются к проблеме рассмотрения основных понятий: «дисфемизм», «манипуляция», «языковое манипуляция», «дискредитация». В статье раскрываются основные функции использования дисфемизмов в СМИ, которые указывают на их эффективность в плане реализации стратегии дискредитации. Анализ фактического материала показал, что действительно первостепенной функцией дисфемизмов является дискредитирующая; данная функция наиболее ярко представлена в интерпретации событий в текстах СМИ. Значительное внимание уделяется исследованию примеров использования дисфемизмов для реализации тактики оскорбления, тактики наклеивания ярлыков и тактики издевки. Исследование основано на анализе конкретных примеров дисфемистических словоупотреблений для выражения отрицательной оценки, неодобрения или пренебрежения по отношению к адресату. Вербализаторами оценки выступают дисфемизмы и сопряжённые с ними отрицательно-оценочная лексика, метафоры. Посредством дисфемизмов осуществляется репрезентация, зачастую, переосмысление и намеренное искажение ценностей в медиатексте. Также, в результате анализа выявлено, что на страницах англоязычных СМИ сформирован некоторый образ России и ее политического лидера, президента В.В. Путина. Намеренное использование дисфемизмов приводит к приписыванию России отрицательно маркированных характеристик. Оценка роли и действий России на международной арене, ее ключевых политических персоналий осуществляется через призму субъективной позиции журналиста или медиаиздания. Оценка выражается как эксплицитно – посредством лексем с заключенным в них оценочным компонентом, так и имплицитно – метафорически., The article is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of the use of dysphemisms as a means of linguistic manipulation for the implementation of the discreditation strategy in English media. The authors consider the problem of the basic concepts: "dysphemism", "manipulation", "linguistic manipulation", "discredit". The article reveals the main functions of using dysphemisms in the media, which indicate their effectiveness in terms of implementing the discreditation strategy. The analysis of the factual material revealed that the primary function of dysphemisms is discrediting; this function is clearly identified in the interpretation of events in media texts. Considerable attention is paid to the study of examples of using dysphemisms for the implementation of insult tactics, labelling tactics and mockery tactics. The research is based on the analysis of specific examples of dysphemistic word usage to express some negative assessment, disapproval or neglect in relation to the addressee. The verbalizers of evaluation are dysphemisms and negative evaluative vocabulary, metaphors. Representation, rethinking and deliberate distortion of values is carried out through dysphemisms in the media text. In addition, the results of the undertaken analysis revealed that a certain image of Russia and its political leader, President V.V. Putin, is formed on the pages of the English media. The deliberate use of dysphemisms leads to the attribution of negatively marked characteristics to Russia. The assessment of the role and actions of Russia in the international arena, its key political personalities, is carried out through the prism of the subjective position of a journalist or media publication. The article describes the methods, forms and means of teaching, the use of which will allow most optimally formation of speech competencies for younger students in Ukrainian language lessons; outlined ways and means to improve interactive activities and the practical readiness of teachers to work with children, as well as aspects for the formation of correct speech, pedagogical and linguistic conditions for the formation of speech culture of primary school students; highlights the effectiveness of the formation of national identity, which depends on the purposeful search for ways to improve the organization of native language education, conscious design of learning content based on the optimal combination of traditional and innovative pedagogical technologies, didactic methods, techniques, forms and means of learning. Theoretical comprehension of psychological, linguodidactic bases of a technique of work on formation the speech competence for primary school students, generalization of advanced experience for primary school teachers confirmed urgency of the raised problem. Today mastering the language on a communicative basis is the basis of linguistic innovations, the priority of higher education. Ability to communicate using lexical riches, semantic and etymological depths, grammatical expressiveness, word-forming potentials, stylistic flexibility of the native language in all functional spheres determines the communicative competence of the linguistic personality. The knowledge acquired by students in primary school, personal qualities associated with the formation of communication and speech skills, will be the foundation for further education, upbringing, development of self-expression, largely determine the practical, social, professional activities in the future, because speech development is a necessary condition for student’s life., У статті описано методи, форми і засоби навчання, використання яких дозволить найбільш оптимально формувати в молодших школярів мовленнєві компетентності на уроках української мови; окреслено шляхи і способи покращення інтерактивної діяльності та удосконалення практичної підготовленості вчителя до роботи з дітьми, а також аспекти формування правильності мовлення, педагогічні та лінгвістичні умови формування мовленнєвої культури учнів початкових класів; висвітлено ефективність формування національномовної особистості, яка залежить від цілеспрямованого пошуку шляхів удосконалення організації рідномовної освіти, свідомого проектування змісту навчання на основі оптимального поєднання традиційних та інноваційних педагогічних технологій, дидактичних методів, прийомів, форм і засобів навчання. Теоретичне осмислення психологічних, лінгводидактичних основ методики роботи над формування мовленнєвої компетентності молодших школярів, узагальнення передового досвіду вчителів початкових класів підтвердили актуальність порушеної проблеми. Оволодіння мовою на комунікативних засадах сьогодні становить основу лінгвістичних інновацій, першочерговим завданням вищої освіти. Уміння спілкуватися, використовуючи лексичні багатства, семантичні й етимологічні глибини, граматичну виразність, сло вотвірні потенції, стилістичну гнучкість рідної мови в усіх функціональних сферах зумовлює комунікативну компетенцію мовної особистості. Набуті учнями в початкових класах знання, особистісні якості, пов’язані з формуванням комунікативно-мовленнєвих умінь, стануть фундаментом для подальшого навчання, виховання, розвитку самовираження, значною мірою зумовлять практичну, громадську, професійну діяльність у майбутньому, адже мовленнєвий розвиток – необхідна умова життєдіяльності школяра.

The article considers the speech genre of the announcement as a manifestation of the category of information in the discourse of social networks. The announcements of music groups are analyzed and the linguistic means of influence in the announcements are proved. The main groups of language means are distinguished: graphic, lexical-semantic and stylistic. The main graphic means of language influence in the announcement are abbreviations, numerals and foreign language inclusions. Of the lexical and semantic means of influence, the most widely presented in the news announcement are emotionally expressive vocabulary and one's own name. Syntactic features are due to the journalistic style of speech: mostly simple sentences are used. It is substantiated that multimedia is a characteristic feature of Internet communication, which provides polycoding of electronic announcements – the ability to transmit information not only through verbal text, but also with the use of nonverbal means., У статті розглянуто мовленнєвий жанр анонсу як вияв категорії інформаційності в дискурсі соціальних мереж. Проаналізовано анонси музичних гуртів та доведено мовні засоби впливу в анонсах. Виокремлено основні групи мовних засобів: графічні, лексико-семантичні та стилістичні. Основними графічними засобами мовного впливу в анонсі є абревіатури, цифрові позначення та іншомовні вкраплення. З лексико-семантичних засобів впливу найбільш широко в анонсі новин представлені емоційно-експресивна лексика та власне ім'я. Синтаксичні особливості зумовлені публіцистичним стилем мовлення: використано здебільшого прості речення. Обґрунтовано, що мультимедійність є характерною рисою інтернет-комунікації, що забезпечує полікодовість електронних анонсів – можливість передачі інформації не тільки за допомогою вербального тексту, а й із залученням невербальних засобів.

В статье говорится о языковых средствах, которые используются для воздействия на чувства и сознание людей для привлечения внимания слушателей с помощью намеренного отклонения от стандартной речи. Целью данной статьи является выявление специфики лексических и синтаксических средств отражения политических реалий в текстах англоязычных антиутопий. Материалом для исследования стали англоязычные антиутопии 20-50-х гг. XX века. Проведенный анализ базировался на методах систематизации и классификации материала, интерпретации текста, а также контекстуальном анализе. Практическая значимость исследования заключается в том, что ее результаты могут найти применение в вузовских курсах по языкознанию, литературоведению и спецкурсах по лингвокультурологии, стилистике и лингвистике текста. В результате исследования, было выявлено, что стилистические средства языка в текстах англоязычных антиутопий используются с целью выделения эмоционально-экспрессивных аспектов политического языка., The article deals with language means that are used to influence people’s feelings and consciousness to attract the attention of listeners by deliberate deviating from standard speech. The purpose of this article is to identify the specific features of lexical and syntactic means of reflecting political realities in the texts of English-language dystopias. The material for the study was the English-language dystopias of the 20-50s of the XX century. The analysis was based on methods of systematization and classification of the material, interpretation of the text, as well as contextual analysis. The practical significance of the research is that its results can be used in university courses in linguistics, literary studies and special courses in cultural linguistics, stylistics and linguistics of the text. The article discusses the universal and culturally-specific features and linguistic means of the political cartoon in the Arabic and French languages. Political cartoon is a universal tool for political dialogue between government and society, a reflection or reaction of society to a certain political event, series of events, or a person of national or world level. The goals and objectives of political cartoon, its mechanism of influence on the addressee, and its genre identity have a common tradition and common components. The study of the phenomenon of a political cartoon in various linguistic cultures is an area of relevant multidisciplinary research, primarily because the authors creative principle at the level of text and drawing interacts in the political cartoon with tradition and its genre framework, producing a capacious multilayer creolized text, the decoding of which requires from the addressee the presence of linguistic, logical and extralinguistic (primarily political and historical) presuppositions and the skills to analyze it. The object of the proposed work is a modern political cartoon in Arabic and French. The subject of the research is structural, lexical-semantic, pragmatic and cultural-specific characteristics of the creolized text of a political cartoon in the Arabic and French languages. The purpose of the work is to identify universal and culturally specific features of a cartoon on a political leader or an event at the iconic and verbal level in each of the languages under consideration. For the first time in Russian linguistics the presented study carries out a comparative analysis of the political cartoon in the Arabic and French languages and describes its universal features and cultural-specific peculiarities.

У статті висвітлено питання індивідуального стилю творців наукових праць, зокрема природознавців. Проаналізовано поняття індивідуального стилю як репрезентацію авторської картини світу. Доведено, що питання вивчення ідіостилю в сучасних наукових розвідках тісно пов’язане з такими поняттями, як мовна особистість, мовна картина світу, світобачення науковця. Екстралінгвальними передумовами появи ідіостилю науковця є сама особистість, творчий характер діяльності, активність у пошуку мовних засобів для точного висловлення думки. Узагальнено розуміння індивідуального авторського стилю в науковому тексті. Окреслено причини й шляхи творення стилю відомого природознавця В. Бондарчука виокремленням індивідуальних рис як визначального фактора наукового стилю автора. Зазначено, що індивідуальний стиль є продуктом мовної творчості науковців. Неповторність творчої манери дослідника визначається домінантою його індивідуального стилю, яку детермінують особистість автора твору, його уподобання щодо добору тих чи тих засобів, вміння з дотриманням логіки і з наміром максимально точно описати ту чи ту реалію, дефінувати те чи те поняття, узагальнити те чи те положення, висловити свої думки. У процесі аналізу індивідуального стилю науковця В. Бондарчука, репрезентованого в природничих наукових текстах, виявлено, що дослідник залучав до наукового викладу численні приклади як спеціальних термінів, утворених на основі образного переосмислення загальновживаних слів, так й індивідуальні образні засоби, що сприяло досягненню пізнавально-комунікативних цілей, які ставив перед собою автор наукового тексту. У викладі думок помітно емоційне ставлення автора до зображуваних явищ. Простежено, що найбільш уживаними мовними засобами в науковій творчості дослідника є метафори та порівняння. Оригінальність і неповторність авторського стилю полягає у вмінні автора донести до читача доступно й легко тлумачення складних понять, що свідчить про делікатність інтелігентної людини, яка поступово піднімає читача до свого рівня. The article highlights the issues of individual style of creators of scientific works, in particular naturalists. The concept of individual style as a representation of the author’s picture of the world is analyzed. It is proved that the question of studying idiosyncrasy in modern scientific research is closely related to such concepts as the language personality, the language picture of the world, and the scientist’s worldview. Extralinguistic prerequisites for the appearance of the scientist’s idiostyle are the personality itself, the creative nature of the activity, and the activity in searching for language tools for the exact expression of thoughts. The article summarizes the understanding of individual author’s style in a scientific text. The author defines the reasons and ways of creating the idiostyle of a well-known natural expert V. Bondarchuk, highlighting individual features as a determining factor of the author’s scientific style. It is noted that individual style is a product of language creativity of scientists. The uniqueness of the researcher’s creative manner is determined by the dominant of his individual style, which is determined by the author’s personality, his preferences in the selection of certain means, ability to describe certain realia consistently and as accurately as possible, generalize ideas, express his opinions. In the course of the analysis of the individual style of the scientist V. Bondarchuk based on the material of natural scientific texts, it was revealed that the researcher attracted numerous examples of special terms formed on the basis of imaginative reinterpretation of commonly used words, as well as individual figurative means, which contributed to the achievement of cognitive and communicative goals set by the author of the scientific work. The author’s emotional attitude to the depicted phenomena is noticeable in the presentation of opinions. It is observed that metaphors and similes are the prevailing linguistic means in the scientific work of the researcher. The originality and uniqueness of the author’s style consists in the author’s ability to convey interpretation of complex concepts in an accessible and easy manner, which indicates the delicacy of an intelligent person who gradually raises the reader to his level.

The article analyzes various approaches to the study of irony in Russian and foreign linguistics. Irony is considered as a complex multifaceted phenomenon, its types and specific features are investigated. Particular attention is paid to the means of expression of irony, relating to different linguistic levels, in modern literary text in English and French.

The article describes the most inconsistent and contradictory modal categories of obligation and necessity presented in linguistics. Many scientific papers have been devoted to the study of modality in general and its particular varieties. Interest in its research is caused by the increased attention to the role of language as a means of communication and individualization of the human thought and speech process. The relevance of the problem is also in line with the general trend of improving, ordering, and systematizing the conceptual and terminological apparatus of linguistics. Subjective modality has a multiple semantics, various means of expression, and a number of possible relationships between form and content in the process of speech functioning. These characteristics result in contradictory and confusing interpretations of these categories in science. The research objective was to determine the content basis of these modalities and show how they are interdependent. The study was based on the methods of analysis, comparison, and generalization. The article focuses on the relationship between obligation and necessity in the general field of modality, as well as on their linguistic nature. The types of unreal modality proved to be different varieties of modality with a common area of semantics and use. The author generalized an extensive theoretical material on the categories of obligation and necessity, identified their meanings, and provided a basis for further research. The results of the analysis can also be used in courses of theoretical and applied philology.

The article deals with the study of different levels and means of language representation of the person of culture image as one of the key concepts of modern socio-cultural discourse that is the core in the system of worldviews and embodies society values.The research considers language and culture interaction in the individual and national context based on culturological approach. It shows that language and culture are closely related categories coexisting on the principle of joint development and interdependence. The main language tools of transmitting cultural experience proved to be lexical, grammatical, pragmatical and stylistic means reflecting social ideals, values, concepts and cultural codes.The study of cultural connotation of language means reveals the role of language in the person of culture image formation as a value category constructing a dynamic system of ideal concepts. The author concludes that the person of culture image, predominantly as a form of collective reflection, is defined by social and cultural realities, the representation of which is impossible beyond language as it is a set of language means, which conveys the sense of this concept.The analysis of the person of culture image in the linguo-culturological aspect allowed to define and characterize its main features, such as conceptuality; standard; representation through social narratives, the basis for which is provided by creators – architects of material and spiritual values; dependence on ethnic mentality, social and cultural realities fixed in language and thus – dynamics, combination of stable, invariant and variable features., Статтю присвячено дослідженню різних рівнів і способів мовної репрезентації образу людини культури як одного з ключових понять сучасного соціокультурного дискурсу, що посідає центральне місце в системі світоглядних уявлень і втілює ціннісні орієнтири суспільства.У ході дослідження, в основу якого покладено лінгвокультурологічний підхід, розглянуто особливості взаємодії мови та культури в індивідуальному й національному контексті. З’ясовано, що мова й культура – це тісно пов’язані категорії, які співіснують на засадах спільного розвитку та взаємозалежності. Доведено, що основними мовними засобами трансляції культурного досвіду є лексичні, граматичні й прагматикостилістичні засоби, у яких відображаються суспільні ідеали, цінності, концепти й культурні коди.На основі з’ясування культурної конотації мовних засобів виявлено роль мови у формуванні образу людини культури як ціннісної категорії, що втілює динамічну систему ідеальних уявлень. Автор приходить до висновку, що образ людини культури – як форма переважно колективної рефлексії – обумовлений соціокультурними реаліями, репрезентація яких неможлива поза мовою, адже саме сукупність мовних засобів передає зміст цього концепту.Аналіз образу людини культури в лінгвокультурологічному аспекті дозволив виявити й охарактеризувати такі його основні риси, як: концептуальність; еталонність; репрезентація через суспільні наративи, основу яких забезпечують креатори – творці матеріальних і духовних цінностей; залежність від етнічного менталітету й соціокультурних реалій, зафіксованих у мові, а отже, – динамічність, поєднання як стійких, незмінних ознак, так і варіативних рис.

В статье представлен анализ процессов актуализации значений лексической единицы (имени существительного) в политическом дискурсе. The article presents an analysis of the processes of actualization of the meanings of a lexical unit in political discourse. Lexical units (mainly nouns) served as research material. It is the vocabulary that reacts sensitively to all sociopolitical changes. The selection of the material was carried out on the basis of newspaper and magazine texts, as well as fiction of political orientation. While describing the actualization of the meanings of a lexical unit in political discourse, the authors use such research methods as descriptive-analytical method, contextual analysis, comparative method, lexicographic method, and discursive, contrastive, structural and stylistic types of analysis.

Статья посвящена изучению вербализации синдрома эмоционального выгорания, понимаемого как личностный способ психологической защиты посредством снижения интенсивности эмоциональных реакций на психотравмирующие стимулы. Анализ лингвистических маркеров эмоционального выгорания проведен на языковом материале, созданном личностью с подтвержденным диагнозом синдрома эмоционального выгорания. Исследование проведено на основе лексико-семантического, количественного и описательного методов, а также метода лингвистической интерпретации. Выявлены лексические (существительные, прилагательные, наречия, глаголы) и стилистические (метафоры, эпитеты) средства актуализации наличия синдрома эмоционального выгорания. Установлено, что вербальные маркеры способствуют выражению ряда эмоциональных реакций, таких как эмоциональное отношение, состояние, воздействие и характеризация. Наиболее частотными являются лексемы со значением эмоционального состояния., The article is devoted to the study of verbalization of emotional burnout syndrome that is understood as a personal way of psychological defense by means of intensity reduction of emotional reactions to psychotraumatic stimuli. The analysis of linguistic markers of emotional burnout is carried out on the linguistic material created by a person with a confirmed diagnosis of emotional burnout syndrome. The research is carried out on the basis of lexico-semantic, quantitative and descriptive methods as well as the method of linguistic interpretation. The lexical (nouns, adjectives, adverbs, verbs) and stylistic (metaphors, epithets) means of actualization of emotional burnout syndrome presence were revealed. It was found that verbal markers contribute to the expression of a number of emotional reactions, such as emotional attitude, state, influence and characterization. The most frequent are lexemes with the meaning of emotional state.

На основе лингвостилистического анализа статей из англоязычных военных журналов изучаются атрибутивные признаки и языковые средства создания образа победителя в современном англоязычном военном дискурсе, глубокое знание которых позволяет критически оценивать излагаемый в них материал с учетом как информативного его содержания, так и эмоционального. Изучены диссертационные работы и научные статьи в периодических изданиях по филологии германских языков за последние 10 лет, а также публикации в англоязычных журналах военной тематики, посвященные истории и выдающимся представителям вооруженных сил Великобритании, США и других государств. Использованы общенаучные методы теоретического анализа, наблюдения, обобщения, конкретизации, а также контекстуального и лингвостилистического анализа текстов., Based on the linguistic analysis of articles from English-language military journals, attributes and linguistic means of creating an image of the winner in modern English-language military discourse are studied, deep knowledge of which allows us to critically evaluate the material presented in them, taking into account both its informative and emotional content. Dissertations and scientific articles in periodicals on the philology of Germanic languages over the past 10 years have been studied, as well as publications in English-language journals on military subjects devoted to the history and outstanding representatives of the armed forces of Great Britain, the United States and other states. General scientific methods of theoretical analysis, observation, generalization, concretization, as well as contextual and linguo-stylistic analysis of texts are used.

В статье на примере китайского языка и истории Китая рассматривается тема гендерного неравенства как одна из самых главных проблем современного мира, где в настоящее время процветают идеи феминизма и равноправия социальных ролей для установления максимального комфорта обоих полов. Целью статьи является изучение причин возникновения в Китае гендерного неравенства и ущемления женщин, а также проявление этого неравенства в китайском языке. Особое внимание уделяется отражению гендерных особенностей в написании иероглифов и китайском языке в целом, а также исследованию положения женщин в традиционном китайском обществе для выяснения причин ныне существующего в Китае неравенства. В качестве ключевого доказательства гендерного неравноправия используются уголовные статьи эпохи Тан, исторические данные, а также отражения гендерных различий в китайском языке, его иероглифов и способах словообразования. Актуальность выбранной автором темы связана с тем, что проблема неравноправия социальных ролей и феминизма остро стоит в современном мире и активно исследуется: в Китае. Эта тема начала подниматься не так давно, а попытки установления гендерного равноправия в стране сравнительно молоды. Gender inequality is characterised by the fact that the ideas of feminism and equality of social roles are flourishing to establish maximum comfort for both sexes. The relevance of the topic chosen by the author is due to the fact that the problem of inequality of social roles and feminism is topical in the modern world and is being actively studied but in China. This topic began to be raised not so long ago, and attempts to establish gender equality in the country are relatively young. The article uses the Chinese language and the history of China as the empirical material for the analysis. As a key evidence of gender inequality, criminal articles of the Tang era, historical data, as well as reflections of gender differences in the Chinese language, its hieroglyphs and word formation methods are used. Particular attention is paid to the reflection of gender characteristics in the writing of hieroglyphs and the Chinese language in general, as well as the study of the position of women in traditional Chinese society to find out the reasons for the current inequality in China. The purpose of the article is to study the causes of gender inequality and the infringement of women in China, as well as the manifestation of this inequality in the Chinese language. The results of the study are of practical importance and can be used in a more detailed study of the impact of gender stereotypes on the formation of the linguistic consciousness of the Chinese and the establishment of gender equality in China. Such view might be of interest to specialists in the field of gender and linguistic studies, as well as the field of intercultural communication.

Based on the main ideas of the cognitive and interpretive theories, the author considers the specific features of translations of political speeches of state leaders from Chinese into Russian. The authors examine some of the difficulties that arise in the process of teaching the theory and practice of interpretation. Modern methods of teaching interpretation, the analysis of which is carried out in the article, contribute to the improvement of interpretation skills, enable students to immerse themselves in the professional environment, try their hand at a future profession, develop self-confidence, overcome the fear of public speaking, develop the skills of rapid decision-making in real translation situations. The various and interesting lessons planned by the teacher on the practice of interpretation stimulate creative processes and increase the motivation of students to study.

Using the methods of critical discourse analysis and corpus linguistics tools, the main changes in the description of the economic situation in the Russian Federation in foreign media publications are systematized.

The election campaigns of the last decades are known for their massive shifts to the sphere of virtual communication. This tendency leads to the need for searching effective means of establishing contact with each voter under the circumstances of mediated communication to exercise further manipulative, suggestive and persuasive influence on them. The article examines metaphor as one of the main tools of verbal manipulation in the genre of political e-mailing. The theoretical foundation of the study rests on the conceptual metaphor theory. The aim of the research is to identify the metaphorical models and the specificity of their functioning in the genre of political e-mailing.

Peter the Great's “Vedomosti”, being the only Russian newspaper of its time, represented the official state point of view on the international agenda in news materials related to Poland as a territory of active Russian influence and therefore inextricably linked with Polish kings Augustus II the Strong and Stanislaw Leszczynski. The purpose of this article is to consider the stylistics of the representation of these two personalities at a difficult historical moment, which was marked by obvious features of political propaganda using communicative speech tactics, also typical of the modern media discourse.

В статье рассматриваются когнитивно-дискурсивные закономерности репрезентации образа настоящего и будущего России во французском дискурсе массмедиа. Current political events reflected in the modern media testify to a new round of deterioration in relations between Russia and Western countries. Against this background, it seems an urgent task to address the problem of identifying the features of the metaphorical image of Russia and its future in the world media, aimed at finding the specific features of the perception of our country abroad. The aim of the study is to reveal the cognitive-discursive specificity of the representation of the image of Russia and its future in the French mass media discourse. To achieve this goal, the method of analyzing metaphors united by the target domain of metaphorical expansion was used.

The research featured suggestive potential of religious discourse. The authors interpret suggestion as an effective tool that allows its users to plant an idea or attitude into the mind of the recipient, the latter being unaware of the object of suggestion. The paper focuses on the problem of interaction between rational and emotional-subjective sides of communication. Suggestion is defined as a way of linguistic manipulation based on the sensory-associative sides of consciousness. The authors study the means and methods of linguistic manipulation of personal attitudes using religious texts as specific examples. The suggestion makes the recipient adopt and include new information in the existing system of views, thus leading to a certain transformation of the worldview, which changes the motivational basis of behavior and may trigger hostile intentions and extremist actions. Suggestive techniques make it possible to avoid legal punishment by disguising facts that can be used to prove the presence of conflict-generating elements in the discourse. Such texts are used to create a certain emotional state, thus facilitating motivation, further contacts, and formation of opinion.

The article presents the study of features of speech behavior of characters in novels by F. Dostoyevsky in relation to the sphere of the concept “chelovekobog”. On the basis of the systematic analysis of language means as representatives of specifics of speech behavior, the following types of Dostoyevsky’s “chelovekobog” character are defined: “failed super personality”, “paradoxist”, “paranoid personality”. Language ways of representation of these types are defined. It is proved that the analyzed speech characteristics are among the most indicative in the description of the inner world of heroes in F. Dostoyevsky’s novels, of their state of mind, social status and also personal development.

В статье освещены вопросы преподавания косвенных речевых актов в иноязычной аудитории. Рассмо- трены основные средства реализации косвенных директивов (просьбы, приказа, совета, разрешения, запрета и угрозы), комиссивов (согласия и отказа), репрезентативов (одобрения, несогласия и возражения), экспрессивов (комплимента, прошения и иронии) и декларативов (информирования), изучаемых иностранцами на уровне владения украинским языком В2. Актуальность исследования обусловлена необходимостью освещения проблемы преподавания косвен- ных речевых актов в иноязычной аудитории. Для достижения поставленной цели использованы следующие методы: описательный, сравнительный, лексико-семантический и контекстуальный анализ. Научная новизна заключается в том, что впервые проанализированы средства выражения косвенных речевых актов в украинском языке для дальней- шего их изучения в иноязычной аудитории. Выводы. Доказано, что учебно-методические материалы по украинскому языку как иностранному должны содержать примеры использования косвенных речевых актов в процессе коммуника- ции. Это позволит иноязычному, изучая украинский язык, усвоить особенности непрямой коммуникации и будет спо- собствовать формированию коммуникативной компетентности, обеспечивая адекватную речевую и поведенческую реакцию.The paper deals with the issue of teaching indirect speech acts in a foreign-language audience. Main means of realization of indi- ect directives (request, order, advice, permission, prohibition and threat), commissives (agreement and refusal), representatives (approval, disapproval and negation), expressives (compliment, apology and irony) and declarations (informing) are examined, which are studied by foreigners at the Ukrainian language profici- ency level of В2. That is what determines the relevance of the article. Research methods. The descriptive method and the meth- d of comparison are applied for the analysis, synthesis and summ- ry of scientific theories. The descriptive method is also used to characterize the conditions that influence the realization of speech acts: communicative intentions, models of the addresser / the addr- dressee, communicative past / future, etc. The language means of expression of speech acts are systematized by methods of lexical- semantic and contextual analysis. The scientific novelty. The paper is the first to analyze the means of expressing indirect speech acts in Ukrainian for their further study in a foreign-language audi- dience at the Ukrainian language. Conclusions. It is proved that teaching materials in Ukrainian as a foreign language should cont- in examples of the use of indirect speech acts in the process of communication. This will enable foreigners, learning the Ukrainian language, to master the peculiarities of indirect communication, and contribute to the formation of communicative competence, providing an adequate speech and behavioral response.

The paper shows that the notion of evaluation has a wide range of meanings depending on the linguistic framework it is studied within. It is shown that a word conveying emotional connotation is a lexical unit that contains an element of evaluation in its meaning. Considerable attention is paid to the negatively evaluated linguistic units, since the spectrum of these units includes both emotionally colored words and emotionally neutral ones however conveing negative semantics.

В статье определена сущность понятий «рекламный дискурс» и «гендер», а также выявлены языковые средства, репрезентирующие мужской гендерный стереотип на тематическом, лексическом и синтаксическом уровнях., The article is devoted to the analysis of the means of representation of the male gender stereotype in advertising discourse. Based on the material of German-language men's magazine advertisements, it is shown how the influence on the addressee occurs with the help of language means. The article defines the essence of the concepts of "advertising discourse" and "gender", as well as the linguistic means that represent the male gender stereotype at the thematic, lexical and syntactic levels.

The paper provides some insight into the study of political discourse under stress. The focus is made on the definition of political discourse as well as on a psycho-physiological factor that influences the choice of language means. The contribution also provides a brief overview of lexical, grammatical, and prosodic features of political discourse under stress.
