본 연구는 한국의 주요 무역 상대국들을 대상으로 물류성과지표들이 한국의 수입과 수출에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대하여 계량 분석하였다. 중력모형에 기초하여 한국의 무역대상국을 소득수준으로 구분하여 분석한 결과, 물류성과지표의 탄력도는 중력모형의 거리변수의 탄력도보다 계수가 크게 나타나 양국의 교역량에 물류성과지표의 개선이 중요한 의미를 지니는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 소득수준이 낮은 국가의 경우 한국으로의 수출에 더 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 물류성과지표들을 세분화하여 분석한 결과, 저소득 국가의 한국으로의 수출에는 물류역량, 국제수송, 화물추적, 적시성이 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났으며, 중저소득의 국가의 경우는 물류시설과 화물추적이 유의하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 중고소득의 경우는 모든 개별 지표, 즉, 통관, 물류시설, 물류역량, 국제수송, 화물추적, 적시성 변수가 통계적으로 유의하게 도출되어 물류성과지표가 미치는 무역에 미치는 영향이 가장 많은 것으로 분석되고 있다.

The residue levels of sulfadimethoxine (SDM) was studied after oral administration to cultured olive flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus at 20±1.0℃. The concentrations of SDM in the plasma and liver were determined by HPLC-UV detector after a single dosage of 400 ㎎/㎏ body weight. The average recoveries of SDM in spiked samples between 2~50 ppm were 92.24~93.62% for plasma and 88.34~91.90% for liver. Limit of detection for SDM was 0.05 ppm by using this method. Samples were taken at 1 h, 6 h, 12 h, 24 h, 48 h, 72 h, 168 h, 240 h, 336 h and 480 h post-dose. The peak plasma and liver concentrations of SDM, which attained at 1 h post-dose, was 402.64±59.66 ㎍/㎖ and 238.18±54 ㎍/g, respectively. Thereafter, it’s elimination from both tissues was considerably faster following process of time. Their concentrations of SDM were not measurable at 480 h post-dose. Based on this results, dosage and withdrawal times for SDM could be used when it is prescribed with SDM in olive flounder.

Citation count serves as an indicator of quality of research in economics as well as in many other disciplines. The purpose of this article is to examine the effects of author and article characteristics on the citations in economics research. We investigate empirically the relationship between citations and author and article characteristics for different journal quality. We found that the same institution (affiliation) and the location of authors may affect the citation positively. Moreover, journal quality affects some of these variables differently. This article also provides rationales for these results.

The authors investigate factors that may affect the exportability of Korean films released from 1996 to 2002. They employ a binary probit model to test the exportability. The findings indicate that the number of screens, action genre, and year dummies of 2000 and 2001 are important determinants of exportability in the overall model. The authors tried to capture the dynamic aspect of exportability by holding outside factors constant. Over the previous years (1996–99), they found that factors that reduce the asymmetric information problem are important predictors of exportability. On the other hand, the star power and number of screens exhibited in the domestic market are strong predictors of exportability during the recent period. This result confirms that the recent expansion and success of the Korean movie industry (such as the effect of Hallyu) serves as an effective signal to the international film market. Their analysis of cultural discount is inconclusive.
