Owing to its clinical significance, a large body of research has been conducted on family relationships. However, most studies have focused on mother-child relationships, and few have explored father-child relationships. As the nature of family is changing in today’s society, it is important to investigate the different aspects of clinical support and intervention. In this study, we examined the relationship between parents' self-esteem and children's depression, autonomy, and career consciousness to determine the mediating effect of parenting behaviors. To this end, a sample of 136 middle school students and their parents was used to build empirical evidence on parent-child relationships, which included fathers. The results of structural equation modeling suggest that parents' "respect for intension" and "positive responsiveness" mediated the relationship between parents' self-esteem and children's depression, autonomy, and career consciousness. In other words, when parents’ behavior was respectful of children's intentions and autonomy, and responded positively and empathetically to children's actions and requests, children's depression would be reduced and their autonomy and career consciousness would increase. These results are meaningful in that they may support the effectiveness of clinical interventions such as training parents to improve their behavioral patterns.

本研究は，事前登録済みの先行研究（https://osf.io/s3wn6）と主たる研究目的が同一であるものの，後述するように研究の着想や方法が異なる。 この先行研究は，批判的思考能力が高い人は，まなざしから他者の感情を正確に推測できる，つまり，まなざしに着目したときの共感の正確さが高いのか，という問いを扱ったものであり，現在データ収集済み・分析未着手の状況である。まなざしに着目した理由は，人は日常生活における他者とのコミュニケーションで，会話内容の解釈や印象に与える影響は，言語的情報よりも非言語的情報の方が大きく (e.g., Mehrabian & Wiener, 1967)，特に，まなざしは複雑な心理状態を非言語的情報から推測する際に有効となるからであった (Baron-Cohen et al.，1997）。 しかし，実際の日常生活では，会話内容といった言語的情報や，表情といった非言語的情報など様々な情報を手掛かりとして他者の心理状態を推測している (e.g., Baron-Cohen et al.，1997; Ickes & Hodges, 2013)。そこで本研究では，まなざし以外の非言語的情報や言語的情報を含めた，より現実に近い状況 (会話場面) において，批判的思考能力が高い人は高い共感の正確さを示すのか検討する。他者の心理状態を推測する状況を，より現実場面に近づけることで，冒頭の先行研究の知見の一般化可能性を示すとともに，教育実践上の示唆を得ることを目指す。

自尊感情は，我々の精神的健康と深い関わりがあるとされ，国内外で多くの研究蓄積がある（Orth & Robins, 2022; 佐藤, 2021）。たとえば，Moore & Kirkham（2001）や粕谷・河村（2002）は子どもの自尊感情の低さはいじめ被害や不登校などの不適応につながることを指摘している。このような問題の解決のために，これまでに自尊感情を高めるための様々な取り組みが行われてきた（白井, 2015; 坂東, 2015）。しかし，そのような取り組みは自己愛を助長させたり，反対に自尊感情を低下させるといった懸念がある。そのために，自尊感情に直接介入するのではなく，自尊感情の規定因に介入することが推奨されている（cf. Brummelman, 2022）。このような背景から，本研究では両親と子どもの自尊感情の関連について養育行動の媒介効果の観点から検討することを目的とした。 養育行動はトレーニングにより変容可能であるからこそ（Mason et al., 2016），この媒介効果を示すことに意義がある。 本研究では，母親と子ども（中学生の男女）に父親を加えた三者データを用いて，両親と子どもの自尊感情の関連について両親と子どもの養育行動の認知の観点から検討を行う。養育行動を測定する尺度としては，肯定的・否定的養育行動尺度（伊藤他, 2014）を用いる。この尺度は，養育行動の肯定的側面と否定的側面の双方を包括的に評価することを目的として開発されたものであり，肯定的養育行動である「関与・見守り（子どもとの会話，遊びや活動への積極的・能動的関与）」，「肯定的応答性（子どもの行動や要求への肯定的・共感的な応答）」，「意思の尊重（子どもの意思と自律性の尊重）」，そして否定的養育行動である「過干渉（親自身の不安や高い要求水準に基づく子どもへの過度な干渉）」，「非一貫性（子どもへの対応の非一貫性）」，「厳しい叱責・体罰（子どもに対する厳しい叱責や体罰）」の6つの下位尺度から構成される。これらの下位尺度ごとに構造方程式モデリングによる分析と間接効果の検定を行うことで，両親および子どもの養育態度の認知の媒介効果を包括的に検討する。

子どもの精神的健康のためには，親子関係が重要である。特に，親の養育態度は子どもの発達に大きな影響を与える (Young, Miller, & Hill, 1995)。しかし，そうした研究の多くは，母親と子どものみを対象としており，母親・父親・子どもの三者関係を扱っている研究は少ない (戸田, 2006; 松田・鈴木, 1998)。近年，女性の意識やライフスタイルの変化によって，父親の育児参加が注目されつつあるという指摘 (五十嵐・荻原, 2004) を考慮すれば，家族という枠組みの中で子どもを理解するためには，父親も含めた両親が子どもに与える影響を検討する必要がある。このような背景から，西村・清水・中島 (2022) では，母親・父親・子どもの三者データを用いて，両親の自尊感情と，中学生の子どもの抑うつ・自律性・キャリア意識のそれぞれとの関連について，両親の養育行動ならびに養育行動に対する子どもの認知の媒介効果の観点から検討を行っている。両親と中学生の子どもの3名を1組とする133組を対象に，伊藤他 (2014) の養育行動尺度の下位因子ごと (関与・見守り，意思の尊重，肯定的応答性，過干渉，非一貫性，厳しい叱責・体罰) について，構造方程式モデリングによる分析を実施した結果，意思の尊重と肯定的応答性において，モデル修正後に，適合度の目安を満たすモデルが得られた。しかし，どちらのモデルもχ²が有意であったこと，また探索的検討によって採用されたパスを多く含んでいたことから，西村他 (2022) ではこれらのモデルを採用候補モデルと位置づけ，考察を行っている。本研究では，採用候補モデルとした2つのモデルの外的妥当性を検証するために，直接的追試を行うことを目的とする。また，西村他 (2022) で採用できなかったモデル (関与・見守り，過干渉，非一貫性，厳しい叱責・体罰) についても，モデル探索を目的に構造方程式モデリングによる検討を行う。

Optimal feedback control is an established framework that is used to characterize human movement. However, it is not fully understood how the brain computes optimal gains through interactions with the environment. In the past study, we proposed a model of motor learning that identifies a set of feedback and feedforward controllers and a state predictor of the arm musculoskeletal system to control free reaching movements. In this study, we applied the model to force field adaptation tasks where normal reaching movements are disturbed by an external force imposed on the hand. Without a priori knowledge about the arm and environment, the model was able to adapt to the force field by generating counteracting forces to overcome it in a manner similar to what is reported in the behavioral literature. The kinematics of the movements generated by our model share characteristic features of human movements observed before and after force field adaptation. In addition, we demonstrate that the structure and learning algorithm introduced in our model induced a shift in the end-point's equilibrium position and a static force modulation, accompanied by a fast and a slow learning process. Importantly, our model does not require desired trajectories, yields movements without specifying movement duration, and predicts force generation patterns by exploring the environment. Our model demonstrates a possible mechanism through which the central nervous system may control and adapt a point-to-point reaching movement without specifying a desired trajectory by continuously updating the body's musculoskeletal model.

In early childhood, it is important for children to acquire the ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships with others. In psychology, knowledge and skills for smooth interpersonal relationships are called social skills, and it has been clarified that social skills have various effects on psychosocial adjustment of people. In Japan, many social skills training programs have been conducted to enhance social skills. In this paper, the research findings on social skills training for young children in Japan are reviewed. Then, the relationship between childcare contents (human relationships), which is one of the five areas of early childhood education, and social skills and social skills training is discussed.

Previous studies have examined the effects of four cognitive strategies (defensive pessimism (DP), strategic optimism (SO), realistic pessimism (RP), and unjustified optimism (UO)) on cognitive and behavioral patterns in task-related situations. In this context, Shimizu, Nakashima, & Morinaga (2016) found that a tendency toward DP was associated with considerate and respectful behavioral intentions and provided insights into the functions of cognitive strategies in interpersonal contexts. This finding was replicated by Shimizu, Abe, & Nakashima (2020), who showed that UOs had less considerate and respectful behavioral intentions than RPs and SOs. In the present study, we attempted to examine whether the findings of Shimizu et al. (2020) could be replicated in a British adult population (N = 186) who participated in an online survey. Path analysis showed that the association between cognitive strategies and behavioral intentions was not replicated, although the model presented in Shimizu et al. (2020) was fitted (CFI = .99，RMSEA = .05，SRMR = .03).
