Creativity has been considered for some years as a key capacity or construct that, in addition to contributing to the learning process during the school stage, evolves and transcends into the social context. In this sense, it is advisable to continue designing innovative and flexible teaching strategies or methodologies that adapt to the different conditions of the students, in which not only the teachers actively participate, as the main person responsible for regulating learning exchanges within the classroom, including the creative process, but also involving the family, taking into account that it is considered the first agent that accompanies the innate curiosity of the infant. Under this premise, the present educational proposal is proposed, whose main objective is to develop creativity from its components of originality, flexibility, fluency and elaboration in the students of the last cycle of Primary Education, all of this through playful and participatory activities; also, the use of techniques such as brainstorming, role playing, etc. is promoted. In this sense, the general result that is expected to be achieved is that students can improve their creative potential, which can be reflected through greater spontaneity and autonomy in the development of both their ideas and their products., La creatividad es considerada desde hace unos años como una capacidad o constructo clave que, además de contribuir con el proceso de aprendizaje durante la etapa escolar, evoluciona y trasciende hacia el contexto social. En tal sentido, es conveniente seguir diseñando estrategias o metodologías de enseñanza innovadoras y flexibles que se adapten a las distintas condiciones del alumnado, en las cuales no solo participe activamente el profesorado, como responsable principal de regular los intercambios de aprendizaje dentro del aula, incluyendo el proceso creativo, sino también involucrando a la familia, teniendo en cuenta que es considerada el primer agente que acompaña la curiosidad innata del infante. Bajo esta premisa, se plantea la presente propuesta educativa, cuyo objetivo principal es desarrollar la creatividad desde sus componentes de originalidad, flexibilidad, fluidez y elaboración en los/as estudiantes del último ciclo de Educación Primaria, todo ello a través de actividades lúdicas y participativas; también, se promueve el uso de técnicas como la lluvia de ideas, el juego de roles, entre otras. En este sentido, el resultado general que se espera alcanzar es que los/as estudiantes puedan mejorar su potencial creativo, el cual puede verse reflejado a través de una mayor espontaneidad y autonomía en la elaboración tanto de sus ideas como de sus productos.

The aim of this paper is to analyze the Proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on European Evidence Warrants for the purpose of criminal prosecution. It will cover the period from the first text presented by the Commission on 14 April 2018 to the final compromise text of the beginning of this year, with a special focus on the effectiveness of this new procedural instrument. Likewise, we will make a critical assessment of the possible improvements and shortcomings with respect to the procedural guarantees and fundamental rights of those under investigation, which the Proposal presents., El presente trabajo tiene por objeto el análisis de la Propuesta de Reglamento del Parlamento Europeo y del Consejo sobre órdenes europeas de entrega y conservación de pruebas electrónicas a efectos de enjuiciamiento penal. Haciendo un recorrido desde el primer texto presentado por la Comisión el 14 de abril de 2018, hasta el texto definitivamente aprobado —Reglamento (UE) 2023/1543— el 13 de junio del 2023, con un especial interés en la eficacia de este nuevo instrumento procesal. Del mismo modo, haremos una valoración crítica de las posible mejoras y defectos con respecto a las garantías procesales y derechos fundamentales de los investigados que presenta la citada Propuesta.

Soubor map s odborným obsahem - návrhová mapa obsahuje návrh multifunkčních opatření pro oblast Hranického krasu - hydrotermálnímu krasu nacházejícímu se na výběžku karbonátových hornin devonského a paleozoického stáří u města Hranice v České republice. Opatření jsou založena na principu přírodě blízkých řešení a jejich účelem je snížit intenzitu zemědělského využití v zranitelných plochách se zároveň projeví ve zlepšení biodiverzity, zvýšení retenční schopnosti krajiny a zvýšení rekreačního potenciálu území. Přírodní a druhové bohatou krajinu kry Maleníku s těžištěm v okolí Hranické propasti, Zbrašovských aragonitových jeskyních, přírodních rezervací Hůrka a Kobylanky, rekreační potenciál propasti a jeskyní a jejich rozšíření o další atraktivity, které umožní vytvoření okruhu, a vytvoření odolné zemědělské krajiny, jež integruje výše uvedené opatření do protierozní ochrany., A set of scientifically-based maps includes a design map proposing multifunctional measures for the Hranice Karst area, a hydrothermal karst located on a protrusion of Devonian and Paleozoic carbonate rocks near the town of Hranice in the Czech Republic. The measures are based on the principles of nature-based solutions, aimed at reducing the intensity of agricultural use in vulnerable areas, which will also result in improved biodiversity, increased water retention capacity of the landscape, and enhanced recreational potential of the area. The design concept focuses on three complementary landscape characteristics: a natural and species-rich landscape centered around Maleník, including the Hranice Abyss, Zbrašov Aragonite Caves, Hůrka and Kobylanky nature reserves; the recreational potential of the abyss and caves, with their expansion to include additional attractions to create a circuit; and the creation of a resilient agricultural landscape that integrates the aforementioned measures into erosion control.

Even though supporting affected populations is the raison d’etre for humanitarian action, organisations are frequently not accountable to populations they aim to serve. Despite several reform movements, the consultation and participation elements of accountability to affected populations (AAP), in particular, are still lacking. Specifically, during the design phases of projects, such involvement is critical since major decisions around implementation are taken. Given that donors usually use their power over NGOs to set requirements around financial and results-based management, they could do the same for AAP and make funding conditional on meeting requirements. The puzzle of this research is (Q1) to what extent do donors try to enhance AAP at the project design stage by setting AAP requirements and (Q2) what motivates donors to set these requirements and given many do not set them, what holds them back. In total, nine (n=9) problem-centred expert interviews were led with donor and NGO representatives, which were complemented by an analysis of n=14 donor documents related to the project design phase. During the data collection and analysis process, it became apparent that a sole focus on top-down approaches through requirements would leave out relevant constraints around AAP requirements in project design phases. Thus, driven by the interview data, two additional questions were included: (Q3) What are possible reasons why the requirements set by donors are not successful in improving AAP practices? (Q4) How could these constraints be overcome? For Q1, it was found that there is no systemic inclusion of AAP requirements in project design phases by donors. Though there are positive examples and donors emphasize their engagement, NGO representatives shared the view that there is no real push through requirements for the two more complex elements of AAP, namely consultation and participation. The EU has set out a goal to become climate neutral by 2050. The IPCC has recognized carbon dioxide removal (CDR) as being an essential technology in order to achieve net zero CO2 emissions. Since CDR can account for emissions from sectors that are hard to mitigate, the European Commission has proposed a regulation that will be the first EU-wide voluntary certification framework for high-quality carbon removals. During 1 December 2023 - 23 March 2023, the proposal received feedback from different actors in order to develop methodologies that will enable stakeholders to implement this certification framework. Therefore, since relevant actors' participation in designing the framework is important, the aim of this study is to analyse the feedback and identify potential strengths, weaknesses, areas of agreement, and conflicts of interest in the proposal. Out of the 210 submitted feedback documents that the EU Commission received, 165 documents were analysed in this study. From the feedback, the results of this study show that many actors from different sectors welcome the proposal and believe that it could bring further transparency and trustworthiness to CDR activities which could increase investments in carbon removal solutions. However, a common weakness among the respondents was the lack of clarity in the framework regarding the terminology and the alignment to other regulations and policies. Some conflicts of interest were also identified, surrounding the level of permanence in the included CDR activities, co-benefits, and the representation of actors within the expert groups., EU har satt ett mål att bli klimatneutralt 2050. This didactic proposal for the mathematics subject is aimed at students in the third year of Compulsory Secondary Education in a center on the island of Gran Canaria. With it, it is intended that students learn the concepts specified in the curriculum of the subject. It is also intended that students develop a greater interest in scientific knowledge, that they learn to learn and develop critical thinking that enables them to face the problems that may arise both in their work and daily lives. For this, we will use teaching-learning strategies based on constructivism as a didactic model and meaningful learning., Esta propuesta didáctica de la asignatura de matemáticas está dirigida al alumnado del tercer curso de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria de un centro de la isla de Gran Canaria. Con ella se pretende que el estudiante aprenda los conceptos especificados en el currículo de la asignatura. También, se pretende que desarrolle un mayor interés por el conocimiento científico, que aprenda a aprender y a desarrollar un pensamiento crítico que le capacite para afrontar los problemas que se le puedan presentar tanto en su vida laboral como cotidiana. Para ello, utilizaremos estrategias de enseñanzaaprendizaje basadas en el constructivismo como modelo didáctico y el aprendizaje significativo.

The present paper includes the main characteristics of the different language teaching methods, including the traditional and the communicative methods. Among all of them, the one that has been considered as the main focus of this paper is the Total Physical Response (TPR). The main features of this teaching method, as well as its relation to linguistic input, listening skills, kinaesthetic learning styles and strategies for the EFL classroom, are addressed. Taking this into account, the second part of this paper presents an analysis of a set of TPR activities that were part of a lesson sequence implemented in a Year 1 EFL classroom of a Secondary Education school. The purpose is to analyse if TPR results effectively in the acquisition of English as a Foreign Language (EFL). Notwithstanding the different areas of improvement and variants of some of the activities, the results indicate that TPR is more effective than other teaching methods for first graders of Secondary Education., El presente trabajo recoge las características principales de los diferentes métodos de enseñanza de idiomas, incluyendo los tradicionales y los comunicativos. De todos ellos, el que se ha considerado como foco principal es el de la Respuesta Física Total (RFT), destacando sus principales características, su relación con el input, la comprensión oral y los estilos de aprendizaje kinestésico, y las estrategias didácticas que favorecen su aplicación en el aula de Inglés Lengua Extranjera. Teniendo en cuenta lo anterior, en la segunda parte del trabajo se presenta el análisis de un conjunto de actividades de RFT que forman parte de una secuencia didáctica implementada en un aula de primer curso de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria. El objetivo es analizar si la RFT resulta efectiva en la adquisición del Inglés como Lengua Extranjera (ILE). This section of Introduction to Technical Communication deals with ethical issues associated with the design, use, and propagation of technology. At virtually all stages of development and use, any technology can carry with it ethical dilemmas for both creators and users. Of particular interest is how such dilemmas are resolved (or complicated) according to how effectively they are communicated to stakeholders.

The blockchain paradigm is currently modifying all the major Internet of Things (IoT) application domains, giving the opportunity of constructing decentralized environments in which trustful and anonymous activities can be efficiently performed. Blockchain proposes an approach which assures data saved on a distributed ledger would be continuously synchronized and in such a way the ledger will remain consistent. The distributed ledger has the responsibility to maintain a higher level of consistency. Given a connected network, the Optimum Neighbor Selection (ONS) of paths can be obtained by finding the Minimum Spanning Tree of the network. However, none of past approaches proposed in the literature to construct ONS considered the problem of having nodes with low levels of reliability in the network and even malicious or fraudulent nodes, that is a situation very common in an IoT environment. In this paper, we propose an optimized blockchain ONS algorithm, called Trust-based ONS (TONS), which allows the miners to communicate with a globally-optimized selection of neighbors. The algorithm can also guarantee that these nodes are the most reliable miners. We also describe an experimental simulation campaign we have performed to evaluate the effectiveness and the efficiency of our approach.

Hampir seluruh masyarakat tidak memiliki kesiapan dalam menghadapi situasi pandemi, secara khusus masyarakat Kampung Seprih 005/001 Kebonmanis. Pembatasan aktivitas mengakibatkan menurunnya kegiatan perdagangan warga. Pengetahuan yang terbatas dan pengalaman yang belum memadai, menghambat perkembangan usaha dagang warga yang notabene penghasilan setiap bulannya tidak tetap. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, solusi yang dibutuhkan untuk peningkatan perekonomian warga adalah kegiatan kewirausahaan bersama di lingkungan Kampung Seprih. Kegiatan wirausaha bersama ini dapat terlaksana dengan memanfaatkan lahan warga yang belum produktif. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah menggambarkan potensi usaha mandiri Kampung Seprih menjadi Kampung Produktif Seprih dan memberikan pelatihan serta pendampingan penulisan proposal sponsorship kepada warga secara khusus GEMA (Gerakan Pemuda Nol Lima) Kampung Seprih. Kampung Produktif Seprih digambarkan pada denah pekerjaan yang terbagi menjadi 4 area, yaitu lahan produksi, lahan peternakan, lahan pertanian, dan lahan ruang baca (perpustakaan warga Kampung Seprih). Kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan penulisan proposal sponsorship dilaksanakan selama 12 kali pertemuan dan diikuti oleh pengurus dan anggota GEMA. Proposal sponsorship dikirimkan ke PFmuda 2022 melalui aplikasi yang tersedia pada tanggal 18 Mei 2022 pukul 19.44 WIB. Harapan dari Penulis dan tim beserta GEMA Kampung Seprih adalah proposal tersebut lolos dan didanai kegiatan selanjutnya. Namun jika hasilnya belum sesuai rencana, maka GEMA dapat mengajukan proposalnya ke instansi lain dengan bekal pelatihan yang sudah diterima.

In order to serve the American public and the missions of its diverse agencies, the United Stated Federal Government utilizes the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) (https://www.acquisition.gov/) to purchase necessary goods and services from private industry. Integral to FAR is the publishing of Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs). As a consultancy within the Federal Information Technology (IT) space, INTEGRITYOne Partners, Inc. (IOP) has responded to dozens of RFIs and RFPs over its nearly twenty-five years in existence. These RFI and RFP responses represent a tremendous amount of IOP’s intellectual capital and reflect the firm’s extensive IT and Program Management expertise. Often containing solution templates, IOP proprietary practices, and detailed capability statements, portions of these assets can be re-used or modified to respond to multiple government solicitations. To keep up with the growing database of these assets, IOP must transition their process of retrieving relevant documents from manual to automated.

Aquest treball se centra en la proposta d'una millora educativa a través de la gamificació per potenciar la motivació en l'aprenentatge dels estudiants de 1r d'ESO. Per començar, s'aborda el marc teòric de la gamificació, el joc, la ludificació, l'aprenentatge basat en el joc i els serious games, així com els avantatges i desavantatges de la gamificació en l'educació. El gruix del treball consisteix en el desenvolupament de dues unitats didàctiques de Tecnologia i Digitalització de 1r d'ESO, utilitzant el joc de taula Catan com a fil conductor. Amb això, es busca proporcionar als estudiants una experiència d'aprenentatge pràctica i interactiva, incloent sessions gamificades per motivar la participació activa dels estudiants. Finalment es realitza una proposta d'avaluació per mesurar els resultats i l'aprenentatge dels estudiants i s'ofereixen possibles canvis per millorar la proposta en el futur. Tot i que aquesta proposta no s'ha pogut dur a terme en un context real, es destaca la importància de la gamificació com a eina per a potenciar la motivació en l'aprenentatge dels estudiants de 1r d'ESO.

The puzzle of this research is (Q1) to what extent do donors try to enhance AAP at the project design stage by setting AAP requirements and (Q2) what motivates donors to set these requirements and given many do not set them, what holds them back. In total, nine (n=9) problem-centred expert interviews were led with donor and NGO representatives, which were complemented by an analysis of n=14 donor documents related to the project design phase. During the data collection and analysis process, it became apparent that a sole focus on top-down approaches through requirements would leave out relevant constraints around AAP requirements in project design phases. Thus, driven by the interview data, two additional questions were included: (Q3) What are possible reasons why the requirements set by donors are not successful in improving AAP practices? (Q4) How could these constraints be overcome? For Q1, it was found that there is no systemic inclusion of AAP requirements in project design phases by donors. Though there are positive examples and donors emphasize their engagement, NGO representatives shared the view that there is no real push through requirements for the two more complex elements of AAP, namely consultation and participation. Due to the wide rangeof usesof corpus linguistics, an absolute agreement has been reached with regard to neither the existing types of corpus, nor their denomination and definition.Therefore, the aim of this article wasto offer a proposal forcorpus classification applicable to any discipline.To this end, amongstthe multitude of categorisations found,those formulated by Sinclair(1996), Torruella Casañas and Llisterri Boix (1999), Laviosa (2002), Fernandes (2006), Borja Albi (2007), Cabré Castellví (2007), Villayandre Llamazares (2008) and Ornia (2015)were taken as a basis. This section of Introduction to Technical Communication deals with ethical issues associated with the design, use, and propagation of technology. At virtually all stages of development and use, any technology can carry with it ethical dilemmas for both creators and users. Of particular interest is how such dilemmas are resolved (or complicated) according to how effectively they are communicated to stakeholders.

The aim of this study is to analyze the feasibility of the single-effect H2O/LiBr absorption heat pump cycle to produce combined heating and cooling. To achieve this, first, the main changes that the absorption cycle requires are described in comparison with the conventional single-effect absorption chiller. Then, the cycle’s operational limits in terms of temperature lift and LiBr crystallization are evaluated. In this sense, driving heat temperatures required for these applications range from 85 °C to 120 °C. The energy and exergy performance (in terms of cooling and heating capacities, cooling and heating coefficient of performance, and exergy coefficient of performance) of the cycle is theoretically studied for five different types of applications that require simultaneous heating and cooling: building air conditioning, a 4th generation district heating and cooling network, a sports center with an indoor swimming pool, a hybrid air conditioning system with an absorption heat pump and a desiccant evaporative cooling system, and simultaneous cooling and water purification application for coastal areas. The system performance in terms of the cooling coefficient of performance varies in the range of 0.812–0.842, in terms of heating coefficient of performance from 0.58 to 1.842, and in terms of exergy coefficient of performance from 0.451 to 0.667. The application with the highest exergy coefficient of performance is the 4th generation district heating and cooling network.

The market power of digital platforms and ecosystems has probably been the most discussed and concerning topic in competition policy in the last years. Some companies in the area of digital platforms have grown so rapidly that they now dominate entire industries. These firms are particularly Google, Amazon, Facebook, Apple and Microsoft (the so-called GAFAM). Besides the dominant position these organisations are the most valuable firms in the world, according to their stock market capitalisation. These big tech companies even top companies in oil and financial services regarding world market capitalisation. According to Art. 102 TFEU it is not forbidden to have a dominant position, but the abuse of it is. Apart from this it is concerning when this dominant position is no longer contestable and other companies can therefore not enter the digital market anymore. Further grew the concerns that large tech companies may abuse their market power to protect and expand their market position at the costs of their competitors and consumer welfare. Following the introduction of new laws regarding this issue in some member states like Germany , the European Commission proposed in December 2020 the DMA to ‘ensure fair and open digital markets’ in the EU and to regulate the big tech companies. The DMA is therefore the reaction of the EU to potential abuses of market power in digital markets. This thesis aims to give an overview over the objectives of EU Law which are important in relation to the DMA and EU Competition Law. Furthermore provides this work an analysis of the digital market with its features and challenges and introduces the DMA as a possible solution for the problems on the digital market.

Their appealing feature is to activate and dynamize the demand, supply, and development of digital goods, applications, or services. By being an intermediary between producer and consumer, the primary business model for a marketplace is to charge the producer with a commission on the amount paid by the consumer. However, most of the time, the commission is dictated by the marketplace facilitator itself and creates an imbalance in value distribution, where producer and consumer sides suffer monetarily. In order to eliminate the need for a centralized entity between the producer and consumer, a blockchain-based decentralized digital marketplace concept was introduced. It provides marketplace actors with the tools to perform business transactions in a trusted manner and without the need for an intermediary. In this work, we provide a survey on Telecommunication Services Marketplaces (TSMs) which employ blockchain technology as the main trust enabling entity in order to avoid any intermediaries. We provide an overview of scientific and industrial proposals on the blockchain-based online digital marketplaces at large, and TSMs in particular. We consider in this study the notion of telecommunication services as any service enabling the capability for information transfer and, increasingly, information processing provided to a group of users by a telecommunications system. We discuss the main standardization activities around the concepts of TSMs and provide particular use-cases for the TSM business transactions such as SLA settlement. Also, we provide insights into the main foundational services provided by the TSM, as well as a survey of the scientific and industrial proposals for such services. This thesis theoretically studies the dynamics of a nanoparticle in an inverted harmonic potential in the presence of colored noise. We propose a scheme for measuring the correlation time of the noise and discuss a proof-of-principle experiment that could be implemented with current technology in the field of levitodynamics. We introduce the equation of motion and the particular form of the colored noise as well as the related stochastic differential equation. We perform Monte-Carlo numerical simulations to understand the dynamics of the system. Based on the observed dynamics, we introduce the concept of runaway trajectories that is very sensitive to the color of the noise. That is, we show that the probability for a particle to be in a runaway trajectory as a function of time can be used to measure the color of the noise. Based on this, we propose how to experimentally demonstrate this result in the context of experiments controlling the dynamics of levitated nanoparticles in vacuum. This proposal is based on introducing an artificial colored noise that can be generated with an electric field. We analyze the interplay between the white noise generated by the gas and the artificial colored noise and discuss in which regimes our theoretical predictions could be experimentally observed. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the decision-making process is constructed in management team meetings within an IT consulting company. The study also aims to examine how these decisions are initiated by people with different degrees of authority in the organization, as well as how the asymmetric relationship is established. The material that forms the basis of the study consists of one hour and forty-five minutes of video recording of meetings that took place over the Microsoft Teams platform. The study is based on the theoretical framework of conversation analysis (CA) which contributes with an empirical micro-analysis of the material. The result is thus placed in context to previous conversation analytic research that concerns decision-making, decisionmaking as a social process, deontic rights, and the right to distribute tasks in a meeting context. The result shows how the participants construct decision-making by presenting a proposal or by assigning a task, as well as what differences can be distinguished between superiors and subordinates. In order to present a proposal or assign a task, the participants account for their right to do so by, among other things, referring to subjective experiences, or referring to another authority. Subordinates, e.g., accounts are often long and abstract in their presentation. In contrast, superiors, in this case the CEO, are often short and concrete when presenting a proposal or assigning a task. This in turn results in the establishment of the asymmetric relationship since the right to present proposals do not take place on equal terms., Syftet med den här studien är att undersöka hur beslutsfattarprocessen konstrueras i ledningsgruppsmöten inom ett IT-konsultbolag. Falling down is a serious problem for health and has become one of the major etiologies of accidental death for the elderly living alone. In recent years, many efforts have been paid to fall recognition based on wearable sensors or standard vision sensors. However, the prior methods have the risk of privacy leaks, and almost all these methods are based on video clips, which cannot localize where the falls occurred in long videos. For these reasons, in this article, the bioinspired vision sensor-based falls temporal localization framework is proposed. The bioinspired vision sensors, such as dynamic and active-pixel vision sensor (DAVIS) camera applied in this work responds to pixels' brightness change, and each pixel works independently and asynchronously compared to the standard vision sensors. This property makes it have a very high dynamic range and privacy preserving. First, to better represent event data, compared with the typical constant temporal window mechanism, an adaptive temporal window conversion mechanism is developed. The temporal localization framework follows a proven proposal and classification paradigm. Second, for the high-efficient and recall proposal generation, different from the traditional sliding window scheme, the event temporal density as the actionness score is set and the 1D-watershed algorithm to generate proposals is applied. In addition, we combine the temporal and spatial attention mechanism with our feature extraction network to temporally model the falls. Finally, to evaluate the performance of our framework, 30 volunteers are recruited to join the simulated fall experiments. Geographical space reaches its highest state with the creation of landscapes. Landscape is the visual manifestation of the degree of civilization in a society; it is the way of organizing a territory that exposes spatially the culture of a community. Sometimes this organization is not correct and reflects ignorance or forgetfulness on the behaviour of natural environment, sometimes extreme. Thus, risk landscapes are generated; and these are characterized by the high degree of vulnerability on the population that occupies them. The human factor is a key fact to characterize a risk landscape. This paper proposes an activity for teaching risk landscapes at different educational levels, as a particularly suitable element for understanding the risk existing in a geographic space and for reducing the degree of exposure. The need to incorporate landscape units in the territorial planning processes is emphasized., L'espace géographique atteint son état supérieur en créant des paysages. Le paysage est la manifestation visuelle du degré de civilisation d'une société ; c'est la manière d'organiser un territoire qui expose spatialement la culture d'une communauté. The most important characteristics of those places, such as lack of transparency, low taxation or opacity are often used for tax evasion. In fact, for evasion, multinationals use transfer prices, so they take advantage of tax havens´ benefits. This means that what is favorable for them is quite the opposite for the society since the use of tax havens means collecting less taxes. Moreover, in this way the gap between rich and poor countries increases. Against this, many organizations try to reduce such practices through international laws, BEPS being a result of this. Therefore, once the way multinationals work is understood, we will try to explain the effects they have on society. Likewise, the main objective of this project is to identify the problems that arise in the general analysis of tax havens and to make proposals for their settlement.

The purpose of this study is to develop a proposal for an ABC system to control indirect costs in basic education institutions, specifically in the Nor-Pacific Educational Association of Peru (José de San Martin School, Daniel Alcides Carrión School and Jesús de Nazareth School) for the period 2021. Descriptive study, non-experimental and cross-sectional. The population was made up of the three schools participating in said association, studying the cost sources evaluated in a particular way to obtain final effects as a single structure. As a technique, an interview and a questionnaire with closed questions were carried out. The results of which were that 87% expressed the prompt implementation of a cost system for ABC activities, given that the method they currently follow in a traditional way has not given them the expected success. Finally, it was concluded that, although it is true that using this ABC costing technique implies an additional expense for the institutions, however, its application implies economic savings for the companies, added to the future timely decision-making to guarantee the security and foundation financial of any organization., Este estudio tiene como propósito elaborar una propuesta de un sistema ABC para control de costos indirectos en instituciones de educación básica, específicamente en la Asociación Educativa Nor-Pacifico del Perú (Colegio José de San Martin, Colegio Daniel Alcides Carrión y Colegio Jesús de Nazareth) para el período 2021. To boost the science case of MIRACLES, the time-of-flight backscattering spectrometer at the European Spallation Source (ESS), an optimized neutron guide system, is proposed. This systematic study resulted in an enhancement in the transport of cold neutrons, compared with the previous conceptual design, with wavelengths ranging from lambda = 2 angstrom to 20 angstrom along the 162.5-m distance from source to sample. This maintained the undisturbed main focus of the instrument, viz, to carry out quasielastic and inelastic neutron scattering (QENS and INS) experiments on a large dynamic range and for both energy-gain and energy-loss sides. To improve the collection of cold neutrons from the source and direct them to the sample position, the vertical geometry was adjusted to an adapted version of a ballistic elliptical profile. Its horizontal geometry was conceived to: (i) keep the high-resolution performance of the instrument, and (ii) minimize the background originating from fast and thermal neutrons. To comply with the first requirement, a narrow guide section at the pulse shaping chopper position has been implemented. To fulfil the second, a curved guide segment has been chosen to suppress neutrons with wavelengths lambda < 2 angstrom. Subsequent tailoring of the phase space provided an efficient transport of cold neutrons along the beamline to reach a 3 x 3 cm(2) sample. Finally, additional calculations were performed to present a potential upgrade, with the exchange of the final segment, to focus on samples of approximately 1 x 1 cm(2); the proposal anticipates a flux increase of 70% in this 1 cm(2) sample area.

In dieser Arbeit möchte ich die Vorwürfe erörtern, die gegen die strengen Anforderungen der Datenschutz-Grundverordnung (DSGVO), wegen ihrer Unvereinbarkeit mit der Erhaltung der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der EU, im Bereich der KI-Entwicklung erhoben werden. Der Schwerpunkt meiner Arbeit befasst sich mit dem geplanten Gesetz zur Künstlichen Intelligenz in der Fassung vom April 2021. Man könnte annehmen, dass man darauf verzichten kann, vor der Veröffentlichung des endgültigen Entwurfs der Verordnung Schlussfolgerungen zu ziehen, was mit der mangelnden Durchsetzbarkeit der Bestimmungen in ihrer jetzigen Form begründet werden kann. Tatsache ist jedoch, dass die Fragen zwischen wirtschaftlichen Zielen und Grundrechten weiterhin im Mittelpunkt der Entwicklung eines Datenschutzrahmens stehen, der für die Regulierung von KI geeignet ist, insbesondere dort, wo die Rechtsprechung zuvor Unzufriedenheit festgestellt hatte. Diese Diskussion wird aller Wahrscheinlichkeit nach weit über die Fertigstellung der Verordnung hinaus andauern. Mit meiner Arbeit beabsichtige ich, an dieser Diskussion teilzunehmen, um eine zufriedenstellende Antwort auf die, gegen das vorgeschlagene KI-Gesetz erhobenen Einwände zum Schutz personenbezogener Daten zu geben, die sowohl in der Anerkennung der bestehenden Probleme, als auch im Aufzeigen eines effizienten Lösungsansatzes im Verlauf der künftigen Diskussion verankert ist., In this thesis, I propose to discuss the accusations formulated against the stringent requirements of the GDPR of intrinsic incompatibility with maintaining EU competitivity in the field of AI development. My view is set, in particular, to the proposed Artificial Intelligence Act in the version of April 2021. It may be thought dispensable to draw conclusions before the final draft of the regulation is published, a view defendable on the basis of the unenforceability of the provisions in their current state. But the fact is that the issues between economic goals and fundamental rights remain at the core of the development of a data protection framework adequate to regulating AI, particularly where dissatisfaction had previously been noted by the jurisprudence. This discussion will, in all probability, foster well beyond the regulation is finalised. I endeavour to take part in it through this paper, aiming to give a satisfactory answer to the objections raised against the proposed AI Act pertaining to the protection of personal data, anchored in both the recognition of prevailing issues and the demonstration of an efficient equation to resolve them in the progress of future discussion.

The market power of digital platforms and ecosystems has probably been the most discussed and concerning topic in competition policy in the last years. Some companies in the area of digital platforms have grown so rapidly that they now dominate entire industries. These firms are particularly Google, Amazon, Facebook, Apple and Microsoft (the so-called GAFAM). Besides the dominant position these organisations are the most valuable firms in the world, according to their stock market capitalisation. These big tech companies even top companies in oil and financial services regarding world market capitalisation. According to Art. 102 TFEU it is not forbidden to have a dominant position, but the abuse of it is. Apart from this it is concerning when this dominant position is no longer contestable and other companies can therefore not enter the digital market anymore. Further grew the concerns that large tech companies may abuse their market power to protect and expand their market position at the costs of their competitors and consumer welfare. Following the introduction of new laws regarding this issue in some member states like Germany , the European Commission proposed in December 2020 the DMA to ‘ensure fair and open digital markets’ in the EU and to regulate the big tech companies. The DMA is therefore the reaction of the EU to potential abuses of market power in digital markets. This thesis aims to give an overview over the objectives of EU Law which are important in relation to the DMA and EU Competition Law. Furthermore provides this work an analysis of the digital market with its features and challenges and introduces the DMA as a possible solution for the problems on the digital market.

Their appealing feature is to activate and dynamize the demand, supply, and development of digital goods, applications, or services. By being an intermediary between producer and consumer, the primary business model for a marketplace is to charge the producer with a commission on the amount paid by the consumer. However, most of the time, the commission is dictated by the marketplace facilitator itself and creates an imbalance in value distribution, where producer and consumer sides suffer monetarily. In order to eliminate the need for a centralized entity between the producer and consumer, a blockchain-based decentralized digital marketplace concept was introduced. It provides marketplace actors with the tools to perform business transactions in a trusted manner and without the need for an intermediary. In this work, we provide a survey on Telecommunication Services Marketplaces (TSMs) which employ blockchain technology as the main trust enabling entity in order to avoid any intermediaries. We provide an overview of scientific and industrial proposals on the blockchain-based online digital marketplaces at large, and TSMs in particular. We consider in this study the notion of telecommunication services as any service enabling the capability for information transfer and, increasingly, information processing provided to a group of users by a telecommunications system. We discuss the main standardization activities around the concepts of TSMs and provide particular use-cases for the TSM business transactions such as SLA settlement. Also, we provide insights into the main foundational services provided by the TSM, as well as a survey of the scientific and industrial proposals for such services. This Final Degree Project, I focus on the investigation of gamification resources, in the educational field. In the same way, this project also includes a practical approach in which the English language is the used to teach subjects such as Social Sciences, Natural Sciences as well as Arts and Crafts. This proposal is aimed at 3rd Year of Primary Education and is composed of ten lessons per subject, also by two main applications, ClassDojo and ClassCraft. Thanks to students will be able to discover all the contents that are worked on. Finally, a student and a teacher evaluation proposal is included., Este Trabajo Fin de Grado (TFG) se centra en la investigación de recursos de una metodología nueva, la gamificación, en el ámbito educativo. Del mismo modo, este trabajo también abarca un planteamiento práctico donde la lengua inglesa es el instrumento transmisor de contenidos en las asignaturas de Ciencias Sociales, Ciencias de la Naturaleza y Educación Plástica. Al mismo tiempo, impulsar la estimulación musical y el uso terapéutico de la música desde Educación Infantil tiene efectos muy positivos. Partiendo de las bases teóricas de la musicoterapia, el objetivo de este trabajo es diseñar e implementar una propuesta inclusiva para observar los beneficios de la musicoterapia y dar la posibilidad a niños y niñas de desarrollarse a través de la música. La propuesta de musicoterapia se ha llevado a cabo en un colegio concertado de Vitoria, en concreto en un aula de 5 años. En este aula había veinticinco niños, quince niñas y diez chicos, de los cuales dos tenían dificultades en el desarrollo y aprendizaje. Tras realizar una profunda observación en la clase, se identificaron varias necesidades, las cuales se trabajaron en cinco sesiones realizadas en el periodo de un mes. En general, se obtuvieron muy buenos resultados, subrayando la inclusión y la facilidad de realizar las actividades que generó la musicoterapia. Por ello, se concluye que la musicoterapia tiene efectos positivos en el desarrollo integral de los niños y que puede ser muy útil en el ámbito educativo para trabajar diversas situaciones, necesidades o áreas. Para acabar, se ofrecen varias propuestas de mejora., [EN] Nowadays, it is known that musictherapy is beneficial for people’s comprehensive development. At the same time, the encouragement of musical estimulation and the therapeutical use of music in Preschool aged kids has proven to have positive effects. On the basis of musictherapy, the aim of this work is to design and implement an inclusive proposal to observe the benefits of musictherapy and, to offer children the possibility of developing through music. The musictherapy proposal has been carried out on a concerted school of Vitoria-Gasteiz, in a classroom of 5 year olds specifically. In this class there were twenty five children, fifteen girls and ten boys with two of them presenting development and learning difficulties. After conducting a deep observation, certain needs were identified that were worked on throughout five sessions in the span of a month. Overall, the results were positive, underlining the inclusion and facility of doing the activities generated by musictherapy. Therefore, musictherapy has really positive effects on the comprehensive development of children and can be very useful in education to treat diverse situations, needs or areas. Finally, there are some improvement proposals.
