Abstract

Results reveal that at least one lysyl residue255 is involved in catalysis of the human dihydroorotate dehydrogenase as shown by chemical mutagenesis. In addition, it is seen that substitution of lysyl100 abolishes the activity and is restored by exogenously added primary amines.
