Despite numerous solution funded by the All-Party Parliamentary Group on the Sustainable Development Goals (APPGM-SDG) in the Eastern regions of Malaysia, there is a lack of comprehensive understanding regarding the impact of different domains of Returns on Value (ROV) on beneficiaries, particularly within the context of TVET. The initiated solution projects often align with the objectives and principles of TVET, since they involve skills training, work-based learning, curriculum development, promotion of lifelong learning, community engagement, and alignment with SDG. The objective of this paper is to analyse the impact of the two predominant domains on beneficiaries and identifies the critical contributing factors. Using a mixed-method approach, this study categorizes sixteen solution projects from six different Parliamentary constituencies into two groups. The findings demonstrate that the domains of skill enhancement ("Clear") and deep fulfilment ("Deep") remain dominant in both groups, whether through self-reporting by solution providers, or through validation processes. Numerous pivotal elements have contributed to these dynamics, encompassing the local socio-economic backdrop, the locality, and the inherent characteristics of the APPGMSDG initiatives. These findings also highlight the critical importance of integrating comprehensive skill development and fostering personal profound connection to achieve sustainable development, suggesting that future APPGM-SDG initiatives should continue to prioritize these elements to maximize their impact particularly in Malaysia's Eastern zone. This research to analyze the effect of Interpersonal Communication, Work Motivation and Careers Development on the Performance of YES Ramen Restaurant Employees. The research data used primary data in the form of a questionnaire to 105 employees of the YA Ramen Restaurant. The analytical method in this study used descriptive and inferential analysis with multiple linear regression and used the SPSS version 25 program. The technical data testing used in this study included multiple linear regression tests and hypothesis testing. The results of the research analysis found that Interpersonal Communications (X1), Work Motivation (X2), and Career Development (X3) have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y). The results of this study are expected to be able to make YA Ramen restaurants employees pay attention to Interpersonal Communications, Work Motivation, and Career Development which can improve Employee Performance. Residents' support and their engagement in coastal tourism development play an important role in enhancing community wellbeing. There have many efforts by the local authority and the government in planning coastal tourism attractions at Pantai Senok, including the planting of coastal rhu trees and white trees along the coast since 2009. This study examined how the community's welcoming nature, emotional closeness, sympathetic understanding, attitudes and community commitment impact the support for coastal tourism planning, which ultimately describes the community well-being. To test the research model, survey data were collected from 150 residents living at Pantai Senok, Malaysia. Findings revealed that emotional closeness, welcoming nature, sympathetic understanding, community commitment and attitudes have significant effects on local community support for coastal tourism planning. The participation of women in entrepreneurship plays a significant role in economic development especially in reducing unemployment, increasing production and consumption, achieving gender equality, social and cultural reforms. One of the dominant areas for women is batik and songket entrepreneurs who are synonymous with women on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Studies have identified three key elements that contribute to the development of this craft entrepreneur, viz. attitude, business inheritance and religious value culture. Qualitative design methods based on case studies and in-depth interviews were used in this study on 12 informants in the state of Kelantan and Terengganu in Malaysia. The findings show that there are three main factors that cause the formation of women handicraft entrepreneurs, namely attitude, family heritage and religious values. Hence, all the factors that make up a female handicraft entrepreneur in Malaysia are discussed in this article. The findings imply that increasing women entrepreneurs in handicrafts can raise the quality of handicraft products into becoming the best tourism products in the East Coast. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The increase of women in business activities in urban and rural areas has been a major catalyst to the country's economic growth. Women in the East Coast, especially in Kelantan and Terengganu, are seen to be quite prominent in the business world. They are very active in two types of handicraft-based enterprises, namely batik and songket. The involvement of women in batik and songket entrepreneurship not only helps in the economic aspect of the family but also realizes their desire to become a woman entrepreneur. This research aims to determine the encouragement in the formation of women batik and songket entrepreneurs in Malaysia. The qualitative case study design was used by using in-depth interviews and observations on 12 batik and songket entrepreneurs selected through the snowball sampling method in Kelantan and Terengganu. Information obtained from in-depth interviews was analyzed thematically while observations were analyzed through the inclusion of field notes, visual pictures as well as voice recordings. The results showed that the encouragement of the formation of batik and songket women entrepreneurs, the basis is the influence of the family which consists of the process of family socialization, family skills, interests, and contributions to the family. Therefore, their involvement in batik and songket entrepreneurship can be attributed to the constant upbringing and exposure from the family to form women entrepreneurs. Through entrepreneurial activities, women entrepreneurs have the potential to generate high income for their families. The high profits earned through the batik and songket industry also encourage other women to participate in batik and songket entrepreneurship in Malaysia. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Globalization in the fishery industry has affected the country's income, fishermen's income and social interaction in Malaysia, especially in the ECER Region. This paper has two objectives, first discussing the development of the fishery industry in the ECER region; Secondly, examine the impression of industrial fisheries development and its relation to the transitional point of the deep-sea fishermen. The study combines primary data and secondary data to get results studies. The study was conducted through a qualitative approach by interviewing 17 informants consisting of deep-sea skipper. Informants are selected through purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The study was conducted in ECER (East Coast Economic Region) which involved four states namely Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang and East Johor. The results of the interview are transcribed in the form of verbatim words which are the words of informants. The verbatim data were analysed using thematic analysis involving the coding process, the categorization and finally the theme output to answer the questionnaire. The analysis of the study found that the development of the fisheries industry affected the transitional process that occurred to deep-sea fishermen. The transition shows that deep-sea fishermen can accept changes in industry fisheries. In fact, the fishery transition process itself affects the social, economic, physical and policy aspects of the fisheries industry. An important discovery is some deep-sea skipper, have become fishery entrepreneurs known as 'juragan-pengusaha' (skipper-entrepreneur). Recognition of skipper as entrepreneurs indirectly impacts strategic policies in the fisheries industry in relation to the national food security assurance. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This article focuses on the development of the skipper who led the deep-sea vessel. Changes occurred to the deep-sea skipper, in which some of them possess entrepreneurial characteristics and act as an entrepreneur. Some of them turn out to be fishery entrepreneurs. The study was conducted in the East Coast Economic Region (ECER) which involved four states in Malaysia, namely, Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, and East Johor. A total of 17 informants were interviewed, five in Kelantan, three in Terengganu, six in Pahang and three in Endau-Mersing, in which, they were selected through purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The interviews were transcribed into verbatim and analyzed using thematic approach. The findings confirm that the deep-sea skippers are no longer a skipper but they have transformed to become a fishery entrepreneur. Their transformation from deep-sea skipper to entrepreneurs or known as skipper-entrepreneur is a significant development in the fishery industry. They possess entrepreneurial characteristics of human capital, social capital and economic capital, in which, all of these capitals are important for an entrepreneur in managing and organizing fishery organizations. It involves seizing opportunities, risks-taking, high production processes, high capital and social networking. The evolution form solely a skipper to take part in organization and market makes them a multi-function entrepreneur. The development of the skipper-entrepreneur can further increase the national fish production, thus contribute to ensuring national food security. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
