The present study is an evaluation of published papers on machine learning as employed in mastitis research. The aim of this study was the quantitative evaluation of the scientific content and the bibliometric details of these papers. In total, 69 papers were found to combine machine learning in mastitis research and were considered in detail. There was a progressive yearly increase in published papers, which originated from 23 countries (mostly from China or the United States of America). Most original articles (n = 59) referred to work involving cattle, relevant to mastitis in individual animals. Most articles described work related to the development and diagnosis of the infection. Fewer articles described work on the antibiotic resistance of pathogens isolated from cases of mastitis and on the treatment of the infection. In most studies (98.5% of published papers), supervised machine learning models were employed. Most frequently, decision trees and support vector machines were employed in the studies described. 'Machine learning' and 'mastitis' were the most frequently used keywords. The papers were published in 39 journals, with most frequent publications in Computers and Electronics in Agriculture and Journal of Dairy Science. The median number of cited references in the papers was 39 (interquartile range: 31). There were 435 co-authors in the papers (mean: 6.2 per paper, median: 5, min.–max.: 1–93) and 356 individual authors. The median number of citations received by the papers was 4 (min.–max.: 0–70). Most papers (72.5%) were published in open-access mode. This study summarized the characteristics of papers on mastitis and artificial intelligence. Future studies could explore using these methodologies at farm level, and extending them to other animal species, while unsupervised learning techniques might also prove to be useful. We assessed 19,000 scientific introductions to measure the level of undisclosed use of ChatGPT in scientific papers published in 2023 and early 2024. We applied a "stylistics" approach that has previously been shown to be effective at differentiating AI-generated text from human-written text in a variety of venues. Ten different MDPI journals were selected for this study, and the rate of use of undisclosed AI writing in these journals was fairly consistent across the journals. We estimate that ChatGPT was used for writing or significant editing in about 1 to 3% of the introductions tested. This analysis is the first systematic study of detecting undisclosed ChatGPT in published manuscripts in cases where obvious indicators, such as phrases like "regenerate response", are not present. The work demonstrates that generative AI is not polluting mainstream journals to any appreciable extent and that the overwhelming majority of scientists remain hesitant to embrace this tool for late-stage writing and editing. The review categorizes developments into two primary areas: in-store and online grocery shopping. The academic community has witnessed a notable increase in paper publications, whereby the rapid pace at which modern society seeks information underscores the critical need for literature mapping. This study introduces an innovative automatic model for categorizing articles by subject matter using Machine Learning (ML) algorithms for classification and category labeling, alongside a proposed ranking method called SSS (Scientific Significance Score) and using Z-score to select the finest papers. This paper's use case concerns industry productivity. The key findings include the following: (1) The Decision Tree model demonstrated superior performance with an accuracy rate of 75% in classifying articles within the productivity and industry theme. (2) Through a ranking methodology based on citation count and publication date, it identified the finest papers. (3) Recent publications with higher citation counts achieved better scores. (4) The model's sensitivity to outliers underscores the importance of addressing database imbalances, necessitating caution during training by excluding biased categories. Microgrids (MGs) are the new paradigm of decentralized networks of renewable energy sources, loads, and storage devices that can operate independently or in coordination with the primary grid, incorporating significant flexibility and supply reliability. To increase reliability, traditional individual MGs can be replaced by networked microgrids (NMGs), which are more dependable. However, when it comes to operation and control, they also pose challenges for cyber security and communication reliability. Denial of service (DoS) is a common danger to DC microgrids with advanced controllers that rely on active information exchanges and has been recorded as the most frequent cause of cyber incidents. It can disrupt data transmission, leading to ineffective control and system instability. This paper proposes digital twin (DT) technology as an integrated solution, with new, advanced analytics technology using machine learning and artificial intelligence to provide simulation capabilities to predict and estimate future states. By twinning the cyber-physical dynamics of NMGs using data-driven models, DoS attacks targeting cyber-layer agents will be detected and mitigated. Background: Natural language processing, such as ChatGPT, demonstrates growing potential across numerous research scenarios, also raising interest in its applications in public health and epidemiology. Here, we applied a bibliometric analysis for a systematic assessment of the current literature related to the applications of ChatGPT in epidemiology and public health. Methods: A bibliometric analysis was conducted on the Biblioshiny web-app, by collecting original articles indexed in the Scopus database between 2010 and 2023. Results: On a total of 3431 original medical articles, "Article" and "Conference paper", mostly constituting the total of retrieved documents, highlighting that the term "ChatGPT" becomes an interesting topic from 2023. The annual publications escalated from 39 in 2010 to 719 in 2023, with an average annual growth rate of 25.1%. In terms of country production over time, the USA led with the highest overall production from 2010 to 2023. Concerning citations, the most frequently cited countries were the USA, UK, and China. Interestingly, Harvard Medical School emerges as the leading contributor, accounting for 18% of all articles among the top ten affiliations. Conclusions: Our study provides an overall examination of the existing research interest in ChatGPT's applications for public health by outlining pivotal themes and uncovering emerging trends. This paper provides a bibliometric analysis of current research trends in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), focusing on key topics such as deep learning, machine learning, and security in AI. Through the lens of bibliometric analysis, we explore publications published from 2020 to 2024, using primary data from the Clarivate Analytics Web of Science Core Collection. The analysis includes the distribution of studies by year, the number of studies and citation rankings in journals, and the identification of leading countries, institutions, and authors in the field of AI research. Additionally, we investigate the distribution of studies by Web of Science categories, authors, affiliations, publication years, countries/regions, publishers, research areas, and citations per year. Key findings indicate a continued growth of interest in topics such as deep learning, machine learning, and security in AI over the past few years. We also identify leading countries and institutions active in researching this area. Awareness of data security is essential for the responsible application of AI technologies. Robust security frameworks are important to mitigate risks associated with AI integration into critical infrastructure such as healthcare and finance. Due to the fast-changing environments caused by artificial intelligence development, the socio-technical challenge in contemporary educational systems focuses on the need for more regulative measures guiding system stakeholders' behavior. In fulfilling the present legal gap, enacted soft law regulation has been laid out, and a detailed systematic literature review was conducted in the paper presented. The specific methodological approach was selected to deal with two crucial research tasks: to reveal and recommend fundamental governing mechanisms regarding the use and application of generative artificial intelligence; more precisely, large language models in educational systems. Three systematically guided layers of quantitative and qualitative content analysis of central policy, legislation, and regulatory mechanisms in governing AI in education were extracted from the 142 Scopus Database and Web of Science research papers analyzed and presented. Solar irradiance prediction is a crucial component in the application of photovoltaic power generation, playing a vital role in optimizing energy production, managing energy storage, and maintaining grid stability. This paper proposes an irradiance prediction method based on a functionally structured inverted transformer network, which maintains the channel independence of each feature in the model input and extracts the correlations between different features through an Attention mechanism, enabling the model to effectively capture the relevant information between various features. After the channel mixing of different features is completed through the Attention mechanism, a linear network is used to predict the irradiance sequence. A data processing method tailored to the prediction model used in this paper is designed, which employs a comprehensive data preprocessing approach combining mutual information, multiple imputation, and median filtering to optimize the raw dataset, enhancing the overall stability and accuracy of the prediction project. Additionally, a Dingo optimization algorithm suitable for the self-tuning of deep learning model hyperparameters is designed, improving the model's generalization capability and reducing deployment costs. As we transition into the era of Web 3.0, where decentralized information and user privacy are paramount, emerging technologies are reshaping the way in which personal data are managed. This paper focuses on decentralized identity management (DID) in the metaverse, particularly within the education sector, which has rapidly embraced digital tools for e-learning, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic. Natural language understanding is a foundational task in medical dialogue systems. However, there are still two key problems to be solved: (1) Multiple meanings of a word lead to ambiguity of intent; (2) character errors make slot entity extraction difficult. To solve the above problems, this paper proposes a character-word information interaction framework (CWIIF) for natural language understanding in the Chinese medical dialogue domain. The CWIIF framework contains an intent information adapter to solve the problem of intent ambiguity caused by multiple meanings of words in the intent detection task and a slot label extractor to solve the problem of difficulty in yellowslot entity extraction due to character errors in the slot filling task. The proposed framework is validated on two publicly available datasets, the Intelligent Medical Consultation System (IMCS-21) and Chinese Artificial Intelligence Speakers (CAIS). Experimental results from both datasets demonstrate that the proposed framework outperforms other baseline methods in handling Chinese medical dialogues. This study explores the applications and implications of blockchain technology in the Australian higher education system, focusing on its integration with artificial intelligence (AI). By addressing critical challenges in credential verification, administrative efficiency, and academic integrity, this integration aims to enhance the global competitiveness of Australian higher education institutions. A comprehensive review of 25 recent research papers quantifies the benefits, challenges, and prospects of blockchain adoption in educational settings. Our findings reveal that 52% of the reviewed papers focus on systematic reviews, 28% focus on application-based studies, and 20% combine both approaches. The keyword analysis identified 287 total words, with "blockchain" and "education" as the most prominent themes. This study highlights blockchain's potential to improve credential management, academic integrity, administrative efficiency, and funding mechanisms in education. However, challenges such as technical implementation (24%), regulatory compliance (32%), environmental concerns (28%), and data security risks (40%) must be addressed to achieve widespread adoption. This study also discusses critical prerequisites for successful blockchain integration, including infrastructure development, staff training, regulatory harmonisation, and the incorporation of AI for personalised learning. Generative Pre-Trained Transformer (GPT) models excel in text generation, text compilation, and language-related tasks. ChatGPT is based on the GPT model that responds to queries and has human-like conversational capabilities. This includes writing posts for social media, software codes, emails and essays, etc. We tried to use ChatGPT for creating a research paper summary. During our experimentation using ChatGPT, we found that ChatGPT cannot directly read links or URLs, as it is trained on a large amount of text data. Research paper summarization is essential in academics. Hence to solve this problem of research paper summarization using ChatGPT, a software system was designed. In this paper, we present how the capability of ChatGPT could be enhanced to summarize pdfs when a URL is provided. This paper presents the development of a 3D digital model of end-of-service-life buildings to facilitate a step change in preparation of pre-demolition protocols that can eliminate problems of inadequate documentation and extensive time spent in preparing pre-demolition audits. The 3D digital model consists of the following four main components: (i) digitization of paper-based drawings and their conversion to CAD; (ii) automated generation of a 3D digital model from CAD; (iii) corrections to the 3D digital model to account for changes in the lifetime of a building; (iv) a sub-model for performing pre-demolition audit. This paper proposes the innovative approaches of incorporating a minimal amount of human intervention to overcome numerous difficulties in automated drawing analysis, application of augmented reality (AR) in corrections to the 3D digital model, and data compatibility for pre-demolition audit. These processes are demonstrated using one building as case study. Using the digital model, a pre-demolition audit can be prepared in minutes rather than the many days required in current practice without a digital model. The accurate quantification of the quantities and locations of different demolition waste materials and products in buildings to be demolished will enable a systematic and quantitative evaluation of potentials of material and product reuse and eliminate contamination of different demolition waste streams (which may contain hazardous waste), which is the main cause of environmental degradation and downcycling of demolition waste materials. This paper applies a 'more-than-human' theoretical framework to assess artificial intelligence (AI) in the context of a capitalist economy. Case studies of AI applications from the fields of finance, medicine, commerce and manufacturing elucidate how this capitalist context shapes the aims and objectives of these innovations. The early sections of the paper set out a more-than-human theoretical perspective on capitalism, to show how the accumulation of capital depends upon free flows of commodities, money and labour, and more-than-human forces associated with supply and demand. The paper concludes that while there will be many future applications of AI, it is already in thrall to capitalist enterprise. The primary social significance of AI is that it enhances capital accumulation and a capitalist 'black hole' that draws more and more human activity into its sphere of influence. AI has consequent negative social, political and environmental capacities, including financial uncertainty, waste, and social inequalities. In pediatric rehabilitation medicine, manual assessment methods for visual–motor integration result in inconsistent scoring standards. To address these issues, incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) technology is a feasible approach that can reduce time and improve accuracy. Existing research on visual–motor integration scoring has proposed a framework based on convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for the Beery–Buktenica developmental test of visual–motor integration. However, as the number of training questions increases, the accuracy of this framework significantly decreases. This paper proposes a new architecture to reduce the number of features, channels, and overall model complexity. The architectureoptimizes input features by concatenating question numbers with answer features and selecting appropriate channel ratios and optimizes the output vector by designing the task as a multi-class classification. This paper also proposes a model named improved DenseNet. After experimentation, DenseNet201 was identified as the most suitable pre-trained model for this task and was used as the backbone architecture for improved DenseNet. Additionally, new fully connected layers were added for feature extraction and classification, allowing for specialized feature learning. The architecture can provide reasons for unscored results based on prediction results and decoding rules, offering directions for children's training. The final experimental results show that the proposed new architecture improves the accuracy of scoring 6 question graphics by 12.8% and 12 question graphics by 20.14% compared to the most relevant literature. The accuracy of the proposed new architecture surpasses the model frameworks of the most relevant literature, demonstrating the effectiveness of this approach in improving scoring accuracy and stability. The red revolutionary heritage is a valuable part of China's historical and cultural legacy, with the potential to generate economic benefits through its thoughtful development. However, challenges such as insufficient understanding, lack of comprehensive planning and layout, and limited protection and utilization methods hinder the full realization of the political, cultural, and economic value of red heritage. To address these problems, this paper thoroughly examines the current state of red revolutionary heritage protection and identifies the problems within the preservation process. Moreover, it proposes leveraging advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technology to repair some damaged image data. Specifically, this paper introduces a red revolutionary cultural relic image-restoration model based on a generative adversarial network (GAN). This model was trained using samples of damaged image and utilizes high-quality models to restore these images effectively. The study also integrates real-world revolutionary heritage images for practical application and assesses its effectiveness through questionnaire surveys. This review analyzes the most influential artificial intelligence (AI) studies in health and life sciences from the past three years, delineating the evolving role of AI in these fields. We identified and analyzed the top 50 cited articles on AI in biomedicine, revealing significant trends and thematic categorizations, including Drug Development, Real-World Clinical Implementation, and Ethical and Regulatory Aspects, among others. Our findings highlight a predominant focus on AIs application in clinical settings, particularly in diagnostics, telemedicine, and medical education, accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. The emergence of AlphaFold marked a pivotal moment in protein structure prediction, catalyzing a cascade of related research and signifying a broader shift towards AI-driven approaches in biological research. The review underscores AIs pivotal role in disease subtyping and patient stratification, facilitating a transition towards more personalized medicine strategies. Furthermore, it illustrates AIs impact on biology, particularly in parsing complex genomic and proteomic data, enhancing our capabilities to disentangle complex, interconnected molecular processes. The use of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) in academia is a subjective and hotly debated topic. Currently, there are no agreed guidelines towards the usage of GenAI systems in higher education (HE) and, thus, it is still unclear how to make effective use of the technology for teaching and learning practice. This paper provides an overview of the current state of research on GenAI for teaching and learning in HE. To this end, this study conducted a systematic review of relevant studies indexed by Scopus, using the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. The search criteria revealed a total of 625 research papers, of which 355 met the final inclusion criteria. The findings from the review showed the current state and the future trends in documents, citations, document sources/authors, keywords, and co-authorship. The research gaps identified suggest that while some authors have looked at understanding the detection of AI-generated text, it may be beneficial to understand how GenAI can be incorporated into supporting the educational curriculum for assessments, teaching, and learning delivery. Furthermore, there is a need for additional interdisciplinary, multidimensional studies in HE through collaboration. This will strengthen the awareness and understanding of students, tutors, and other stakeholders, which will be instrumental in formulating guidelines, frameworks, and policies for GenAI usage. Religion-based AI chatbots serve religious practitioners by bringing them godly wisdom through technology. These bots reply to spiritual and worldly questions by drawing insights or citing verses from the Quran, the Bible, the Bhagavad Gita, the Torah, or other holy books. They answer religious and theological queries by claiming to offer historical contexts and providing guidance and counseling to their users. A criticism of these bots is that they may give inaccurate answers and proliferate bias by propagating homogenized versions of the religions they represent. These "embodied spiritual machines" may likewise bear bias against women, their gender, and their societal roles. This paper crafts a concept intended to address this GPT issue by reimagining, modifying, and implementing a feminist approach to these chatbots. It examines the concepts and designs of these bots and how they address women-related questions. Along with the challenge of bringing gender and diversity-sensitive religious wisdom closer to the people through technology, the paper proposes a re-engineered model of a fair religion-based AI chatbot. Rod pumping systems are widely used in oil wells. Accurate fault prediction could reduce equipment fault rate and has practical significance in improving oilfield production efficiency. This paper analyzed the production journal of rod pumping wells in block X of Xinjiang Oilfield. According to the production journal, oil well maintenance operations are primarily caused by five types of faults: scale, wax, corrosion, fatigue, and wear. These faults make up approximately 90% of all faults. 1354 oil wells in the block that experienced workover operations as a result of the aforementioned factors were chosen as the research objects for this paper. To lower the percentage of data noise, wavelet threshold denoising and variational mode decomposition were used. Based on the bidirectional long short-term memory network, an intelligent model for fault prediction was built. It was trained and verified with the help of the sparrow search algorithm. Its efficacy was demonstrated by testing various deep learning models in the same setting and with identical parameters. The results show that the prediction accuracy of the model is the highest compared with other 11 models, reaching 98.61%. It is suggested that the model using artificial intelligence can provide an accurate fault warning for the oilfield and offer guidance for the maintenance of the rod pumping system, which is meant to reduce the occurrence of production stagnation and resource waste. Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing the textile industry by improving the prediction of fabric properties and handfeel, which are essential for assessing textile quality and performance. However, the practical application and translation of AI-predicted results into real-world textile production remain unclear, posing challenges for widespread adoption. This paper systematically reviews AI-driven techniques for predicting these characteristics by focusing on model mechanisms, dataset diversity, and prediction accuracy. Among 899 papers initially identified, 39 were selected for in-depth analysis through both bibliometric and content analysis. The review categorizes and evaluates various AI approaches, including machine learning, deep learning, and hybrid models, across different types of fabric. Despite significant advances, challenges remain, such as ensuring model generalization and managing complex fabric behavior. Future research should focus on developing more robust models, integrating sustainability, and refining feature extraction techniques. This paper demonstrates how artificial intelligence can be implemented in order to predict the energy needs of daily households using both multilinear regression (MLR) and single linear regression (SLR) methods. As a basic implementation, the SLR makes use of one input variable, which is the total amount of energy generated as an input. The MLR implementation involves multiple input variables being taken from various energy sources, including gas, coal, geothermal, wind, water, biomass, oil, etc. All of these variables are derived from detailed energy production data from the various energy sources. The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate that it is possible to analyze energy demand and supply directly together as a way to produce a more in-depth analysis. By analyzing energy production data from previous periods of time, a prediction of energy demand can be made. Compared to the SLR implementation, the MLR implementation is found to perform better because it is able to achieve a smaller error value. Furthermore, the forecasting pattern is carried out sequentially based on a periodic pattern, so this paper calls this method the recurrence multilinear regression (RMLR) method. This paper also creates a pre-clustering using the K-Means algorithm before the energy prediction to improve accuracy. Other models such as exponential GPR, sequential XGBoost, and seq2seq LSTM are used for comparison. The prediction results are evaluated by calculating the MAE, RMSE, MAPE, MAPA, and time execution for all models. In the era of DevOps, developing new toolsets and frameworks that leverage DevOps principles is crucial. This paper demonstrates how Ansible's powerful automation capabilities can be harnessed to manage the complexity of Kubernetes environments. This paper evaluates efficiency across various CNI (Container Network Interface) plugins by orchestrating performance analysis tools across multiple power profiles. Our performance evaluations across network interfaces with different theoretical bandwidths gave us a comprehensive understanding of CNI performance and overall efficiency, with performance efficiency coming well below expectations. Our research confirms that certain CNIs are better suited for specific use cases, mainly when tuning our environment for smaller or larger network packets and workload types, but also that there are configuration changes we can make to mitigate that. This paper also provides research into how to use performance tuning to optimize the performance and efficiency of our CNI infrastructure, with practical implications for improving the performance of Kubernetes environments in real-world scenarios, particularly in more demanding scenarios such as High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). In this paper, we introduce a security approach for on-device learning Edge AIs designed to detect abnormal conditions in factory machines. Since Edge AIs are easily accessible by an attacker physically, there are security risks due to physical attacks. In particular, there is a concern that the attacker may tamper with the training data of the on-device learning Edge AIs to degrade the task accuracy. Few risk assessments have been reported. It is important to understand these security risks before considering countermeasures. In this paper, we demonstrate a data poisoning attack against an on-device learning Edge AI. Our attack target is an on-device learning anomaly detection system. The system adopts MEMS accelerometers to measure the vibration of factory machines and detect anomalies. The anomaly detector also adopts a concept drift detection algorithm and multiple models to accommodate multiple normal patterns. For the attack, we used a method in which measurements are tampered with by exposing the MEMS accelerometer to acoustic waves of a specific frequency. In recent years, we have witnessed a massive increase in the number of startups, which are also producing significant amounts of digital data. This poses a new challenge for expert analysts due to their limited attention spans and knowledge, also considering the low success rate of empirical startup evaluation. However, this new era also presents a great opportunity for the application of artificial intelligence (AI) towards intelligent startup investments. There are only a few works that have considered the potential of AI for startup recommendation, and they have not paid attention to the actual requirements of investors, also neglecting to investigate the desirability, feasibility, and value proposition of this venture. In this paper, we answer these questions by conducting a survey in collaboration with three major organizations of the Greek startup ecosystem. Furthermore, this paper also presents the design specifications for an AI-based decision support system for forecasting startup sustainability that is aligned with the requirements of expert analysts. With the advancement of artificial intelligence, visual ranging has become a widely researched field. This paper introduces a novel method for distance measurement by evaluating the sharpness of objects in the current frame. It is well known that the image is sharpest at the camera's focal point and becomes blurry when moving away from it. Leveraging this characteristic, this study utilizes sharpness to achieve distance measurement. Initially, the specific orientation of the target object is identified and located. The image area of the target object is cropped in a certain direction, and its image quality is assessed through sharpness calculation. Subsequently, the relationship between sharpness and distance values is analysed statistically, and a function curve depicting their correlation is plotted. With the development of artificial intelligence technology, the future water traffic environment will present a new pattern of coexistence of manned ships and unmanned ships, because unmanned ships are different from manned ships in situation understanding, collision avoidance decision-making, and so on. Therefore, the obstacle avoidance planning between unmanned ships and manned ships becomes extremely complex, and collision avoidance behavior scheme deduction becomes a key step in solving the problems related to situation understanding and collision avoidance decision-making in collision avoidance scenarios. In this paper, the situation understanding of the pilot for different collision avoidance situations is integrated into the dynamic obstacle avoidance model, and an intelligent navigation collision avoidance system is proposed to assist in deducing the collision avoidance action plan of the unmanned ship in the man–machine coexistence scenario. The intelligent navigation collision avoidance system is divided into two parts, namely a ship situation understanding part and a ship obstacle avoidance part, wherein ship situation understanding is used for realizing the transition of the collision state of the unmanned ship in the deduction process by constructing a collision-state set and a behavior decision set by using a finite state machine (FSM). Regarding ship obstacle avoidance, ship velocity obstacle is calculated based on the reciprocal velocity obstacle method (RVO), and the collision avoidance action is selected by using the behavior decision generated by the FSM to realize the dynamic collision avoidance deduction of the unmanned ship. In this study, the validity and effectiveness of the intelligent navigation collision avoidance system proposed in this paper are verified by case studies in a variety of collision avoidance scenarios. This position paper presents a novel perspective on addressing the challenges of digital transformation in higher education through the development of a qualification-based learning model (QBLM) qualification management methodology. It argues that the rapid pace of technological advancement and the resulting need for continuous upskilling and reskilling necessitate a more dynamic and adaptive approach to human-resource management and development. The paper posits that by extending QBLM through the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), a more effective system for analyzing competence requirements and designing personalized learning pathways can be created. The paper proposes a three-fold approach: (1) developing the FPHR ontology to support semantic annotation of HR qualifications in higher-education institutions (HEIs), (2) integrating this ontology into QBLM to ensure the machine-readability of qualifications, and (3) modeling a knowledge-based production process for HRs in skills-based learning. This paper outlines the current state of the art, presents conceptual models, and describes planned proof-of-concept implementations and evaluations. Electronic monitoring systems (EMSs) have been widely used in global fishing vessels as an effective tool to obtain reliable information about catches and fishing operations in order to verify compliance with national and international regulations. Though EMS implementation in tuna vessels has not yet been made a mandatory requirement by tuna regional fisheries management organizations, many Chinese longliners have the system on board for traceability and safety purposes. Based on interviews with managers and skippers on Chinese tuna longliners, this paper firstly identifies the challenges in electronic monitoring management that have hindered fishermen's confidence to implement EMS at a larger scale. Then this paper proposes a work plan to facilitate EMS implementation from the perspective of Chinese tuna longliners, in which the adoption of EM standards, specifications, and procedures, and identification of EM data fields are the top priorities. To fully address concerns raised by tuna longliners, a cloud computing platform for EMS data storage, transmission, and review could help to protect data safety and confidentiality. Due to the increased unpredictability and severity of weather patterns caused by climate change, traditional farming practices and risk management strategies are becoming increasingly inadequate. In this paper, we explore the literature to understand the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in mitigating climate-related agricultural risks and the pivotal role that public institutions play in encouraging farmers to adopt such technologies. We propose a framework to integrate AI into government-subsidized insurance structures, focusing on reduced premiums through government intervention. We argue that AI's potential to reduce the uncertainty and severity of climate-induced damages could lower the overall risk profile of insured farmers, thereby justifying lower premiums in the long run. We further discuss the implications of such policies on insurance markets, agricultural sustainability, and global food security. The learned model, VOCA (voiceoperated character animation) takes any speech signal as input and realistically animates a wide range of adult faces. Compared with the traditional virtual teacher based on text or speech, the virtual teacher in this paper provides human-like interaction, which is a new teaching form for people involved in the field of artificial intelligence. According to the appearance, movement, and behavior characteristics of real teachers, the virtual teacher image is designed, and the interaction mode of virtual teachers is enriched from facial expression, body posture, voice, and speech. Due to the excellent results achieved by transformers in computer vision, more and more scholars have introduced transformers into the field of medical image segmentation. However, the use of transformers will make the model's parameters very large, which occupies a large amount of the computer's resources, making them very time-consuming during training. In order to alleviate this disadvantage, this paper explores a flexible and efficient search strategy that can find the best subnet from a continuous transformer network. The method is based on a learnable and uniform L1 sparsity constraint, which contains factors that reflect the global importance of the continuous search space in different dimensions, while the search process is simple and efficient, containing a single round of training. At the same time, in order to compensate for the loss of accuracy caused by the search, a pixel classification module is introduced into the model to compensate for the loss of accuracy in the model search process. Our experiments show that the model in this paper compresses 30% of the parameters and FLOPs used, while also showing a slight increase in the accuracy of the model on the Automatic Cardiac Diagnosis Challenge (ACDC) dataset. In order to derive definitive evidence for each object in a convergent autonomous driving environment, it is necessary to transparently collect and provide various types of road environment information for driving objects and driving assistance and to construct driving technology that is adaptable to various situations by considering all uncertainties in the real-time changing driving environment. This allows for unbiased and fair results based on flexible contextual understanding, even in situations that do not conform to rules and patterns, by considering the convergent interactions and dynamic situations of various objects that are possible in a real-time road environment. The transparent, environmentally adaptive, and fairness-based outcomes provide the basis for the decision-making process and support clear interpretation and explainability of decisions. All of these processes enable autonomous vehicles to draw reliable conclusions and take responsibility for their decisions in autonomous driving situations. The agricultural sector is undergoing a transformative paradigm shift with the integration of advanced technologies, particularly artificial intelligence (AI), to enhance data analysis techniques and streamline decision-making processes. This paper delves into the integration of advanced technologies in agriculture, focusing specifically on optimizing data analysis through artificial intelligence (AI) to strengthen decision-making processes in farming. We present a novel AI-powered model that leverages historical agricultural datasets, utilizing a comprehensive array of established machine learning algorithms to enhance the prediction and classification of agricultural data. This work provides tailored algorithm recommendations, bypassing the need to deploy and fine-tune numerous algorithms. We approximate the accuracy of suitable algorithms, highlighting those with the highest precision, thus saving time by leveraging pre-trained AI models on historical agricultural data. Our method involves three phases: collecting diverse agricultural datasets, applying multiple classifiers, and documenting their accuracy. This information is stored in a CSV file, which is then used by AI classifiers to predict the accuracy of new, unseen datasets. By evaluating feature information and various data segmentations, we recommend the configuration that achieves the highest accuracy. This approach eliminates the need for exhaustive algorithm reruns, relying on pre-trained models to estimate outcomes based on dataset characteristics. Our experimentation spans various configurations, including different training–testing splits and feature sets across multiple dataset sizes, meticulously evaluated through key performance metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F-measure. The experimental results underscore the efficiency of our model, with significant improvements in predictive accuracy and resource utilization, demonstrated through comparative performance analysis against traditional methods. This paper highlights the superiority of the proposed model in its ability to systematically determine the most effective algorithm for specific agricultural data types, thus optimizing computational resources and improving the scalability of smart farming solutions. The results reveal that the proposed system can accurately predict a near-optimal machine learning algorithm and data structure for crop data with an accuracy of 89.38%, 87.61%, and 84.27% for decision tree, random forest, and random tree algorithms, respectively. Research into explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) methods has exploded over the past five years. It is essential to synthesize and categorize this research and, for this purpose, multiple systematic reviews on XAI mapped out the landscape of the existing methods. To understand how these methods have developed and been applied and what evidence has been accumulated through model training and analysis, we carried out a tertiary literature review that takes as input systematic literature reviews published between 1992 and 2023. We evaluated 40 systematic literature review papers and presented binary tabular overviews of researched XAI methods and their respective characteristics, such as the scope, scale, input data, explanation data, and machine learning models researched. We identified seven distinct characteristics and organized them into twelve specific categories, culminating in the creation of comprehensive research grids. Within these research grids, we systematically documented the presence or absence of research mentions for each pairing of characteristic and category. We identified 14 combinations that are open to research. Our findings reveal a significant gap, particularly in categories like the cross-section of feature graphs and numerical data, which appear to be notably absent or insufficiently addressed in the existing body of research and thus represent a future research road map. Hydroponics is a soilless farming technique that has emerged as a sustainable alternative. However, new technologies such as Industry 4.0, the internet of things (IoT), and artificial intelligence are needed to keep up with issues related to economics, automation, and social challenges in hydroponics farming. One significant issue is optimizing growth parameters to identify the best conditions for growing fruits and vegetables. These parameters include pH, total dissolved solids (TDS), electrical conductivity (EC), light intensity, daily light integral (DLI), and nutrient solution/ambient temperature and humidity. To address these challenges, a systematic literature review was conducted aiming to answer research questions regarding the optimal growth parameters for leafy green vegetables and herbs and spices grown in hydroponic systems. The review selected a total of 131 papers related to indoor farming, hydroponics, and aquaponics. The review selected a total of 123 papers related to indoor farming, hydroponics, and aquaponics. The majority of the articles focused on technology description (38.5%), artificial illumination (26.2%), and nutrient solution composition/parameters (13.8%). This paper aims at analyzing the applicability and efficiency of AI in mental health practices based on business administration paradigms with a focus on managing services and policies. This paper engages a systematic and synoptic process, where current AI technologies in mental health are investigated with reference to the current literature as to their usefulness in delivering services and the moral considerations that surround their application. The study indicates that AI is capable of improving the availability, relevance, and effectiveness of mental health services, information that can be useful for policymakers in the management of health care. Consequently, specific concerns arise, such as how the algorithm imposes its own bias, the question of data privacy, or how a mechanism could reduce the human factor in care. The review brought to light an area of understanding of AI-driven interventions that has not been explored: the effect of such interventions in the long run. The field study suggests that further research should be conducted regarding ethical factors, increasing the ethical standards of AI usage in administration, and exploring the cooperation of mental health practitioners and AI engineers with respect to the application of AI in psychiatric practice. Despite the tightening of energy performance standards for buildings in various countries and the increased use of efficient and renewable energy technologies, it is clear that the sector needs to change more rapidly to meet the Net Zero Emissions (NZE) scenario by 2050. One of the problems that have been analyzed intensively in recent years is that buildings in operation use much more energy than they were designed to. This problem, known as the energy performance gap, is found in many countries and buildings and is often attributed to the poor management of building energy systems. The application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) has untapped potential to address this problem and lead to more sustainable buildings. This paper reviews different AI-based models that have been proposed for different applications and different buildings with the intention to reduce energy consumption. It compares the performance of the different AI-based models evaluated in the reviewed papers by presenting the accuracy and error rates of model performance and identifies where the greatest potential for energy savings could be achieved, and to what extent. The review showed that offices have the greatest potential for energy savings (up to 37%) when they employ AI models for HVAC control and optimization. However, paper tests, despite their seemingly archaic nature, continue to hold a prominent position in various assessment domains. The accessibility, familiarity, security, cost-effectiveness, and versatility of paper tests collectively contribute to their continued prominence. Hence, numerous educational institutions responsible for conducting examinations involving a substantial number of candidates continue to rely on paper tests. Consequently, there arises a demand for the possibility of automated assessment of these tests, aiming to alleviate the burden on teaching staff, enhance objectivity in evaluation, and expedite the delivery of test results. Therefore, diverse software systems have been developed, showcasing the capability to automatically score specific question types. Thus, it becomes imperative to categorize related question types systematically, thereby facilitating a preliminary classification based on the content and format of the questions. This classification serves the purpose of enabling effective comparison among existing software solutions. In this research paper, we present the implementation of such a software system using artificial intelligence techniques, progressively expanding its capabilities to evaluate increasingly complex question types, with the ultimate objective of achieving a comprehensive evaluation of all question types encountered in paper-based tests. The system detailed above demonstrated a recognition success rate of 99.89% on a curated dataset consisting of 734,825 multiple-choice answers. For the matching type, it achieved a recognition success rate of 99.91% on 86,450 answers. The Artificial Intelligence Recommender System has emerged as a significant research interest. It aims at helping users find things online by offering recommendations that closely fit their interests. Recommenders for research papers have appeared over the last decade to make it easier to find publications associated with the field of researchers' interests. However, due to several issues, such as copyright constraints, these methodologies assume that the recommended articles' contents are entirely openly accessible, which is not necessarily the case. This work demonstrates an efficient model, known as RPRSCA: Research Paper Recommendation System Using Effective Collaborative Approach, to address these uncertain systems for the recommendation of quality research papers. We make use of contextual metadata that are publicly available to gather hidden relationships between research papers in order to personalize recommendations by exploiting the advantages of collaborative filtering. The proposed system, RPRSCA, is unique and gives personalized recommendations irrespective of the research subject. Thus, a novel collaborative approach is proposed that provides better performance. Using a publicly available dataset, we found that our proposed method outperformed previous uncertain methods in terms of overall performance and the capacity to return relevant, valuable, and quality publications at the top of the recommendation list. This research aimed to compare two strategies for vocabulary learning (digital-game-based learning and paper-based learning). The research was conducted during the first semester of the academic year 2022/2023. A total of 40 EFL undergraduate students within the Applied English Program of a private university located in the middle part of Taiwan were selected and divided into two groups: digital-based (n = 20) and paper-based (n = 20). The instrument developed by the researcher was pre- and post-vocabulary tests for both groups. The pre-vocabulary test was implemented to identify the level of students' prior knowledge of vocabulary mastery. For the intervention, Kahoot! quiz exercises were conducted weekly for the digital-game-based group, while the paper-based group received the same quiz on paper every week.
