The Ecology subject is taught in the second year of the Biology Degree, so that students know the relationships between organisms and their environment and the behavior of species populations in different scenarios, so the objective of the work is to propose a Virtual Laboratory for the subject, in such a way that the student becomes familiar with and infers the dynamic behavior of populations in the face of variations in the parameters: initial population, growth rate and carrying capacity. The logistic growth model was applied, this was implemented in the Stella 9.0.2 program so that the student can vary the parameters of the model and create scenarios that will allow him to understand and infer the response of a system for different conditions. The proposed laboratory constitutes a tool that fosters information technology skills in students, being an example of the insertion of the Computing Curriculum Strategy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
