- Abstract
The high life satisfaction of volunteers is crucial for improving mental health, fostering supportive social relationships, and enabling personal development. This research aims to explore the relationship between self-esteem, friendship quality, and life satisfaction among volunteers. The study involved 210 volunteers in Surabaya and used the accidental sampling technique. The method employed was quantitative correlational research with multiple linear regression analysis. Three measurement tools were used, namely the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS), the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES), dan the McGill Friendship Questionnaire-Friend’s Functions (MFQ-FF). The research results indicate a positive correlation between self-esteem and life satisfaction. Friendship quality significantly contributes to the formation of life satisfaction. Both self-esteem and friendship quality together contribute significantly to life satisfaction. In conclusion, higher self-esteem and friendship quality enhance life satisfaction, while lower self-esteem and friendship quality diminish life satisfaction among volunteers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) was identified in Indonesia in early March 2020. One of the groups affected by the COVID-19 pandemic is the elderly. Decreasing physical performance in carrying out activities with increasing age can result in decreased self-esteem in the elderly. This study aims to analyze whether there is a relationship between quality of life and self-esteem in the elderly during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study used descriptive correlation design with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study is the elderly 60 years and over who live in Pulo Gadung Village, East Jakarta. A total of 50 respondents were randomly selected by determining the sample using cluster random sampling. Researcher randomized the number of elderly population based on population areas to be used as research samples. The independent variable is quality of life and self-esteem is the dependent variable. Data analysis was performed by bivariate analysis using the SPSS program. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between quality of life and low self-esteem in the elderly during the COVID-19 pandemic with a p-value of 0,039. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Stereotype by the netizens have been outrageous towards those young adult fans who openly shared their interest in celebrities, for instance, BTS thus it leads them on being the victims of cyberbullying. BTS' positive messages have been nothing but an influence in their fans' life regarding on their self-esteem and psychological well-being. Therefore, this research was conducted to study the relationship between the experience of cyberbullying behaviour and self-esteem with psychological wellbeing among BTS' young adult fans in Malaysia and to see fans' attitude as potential mediator in this relationship. The respondents of this research were consist of 397 young adults and the questionnaire were distributed using the purposive and snowball sampling technique. The results of this research showed that there is no significant relationship between the experience of cyberbullying behaviour and psychological well-being whereas there is a positive significant relationship between self-esteem and psychological wellbeing. Fans' attitude proven that it has a role as a mediator in the relationship between self-esteem and psychological well-being. Some suggestions were proposed to improve the quality of the future research such as the study will be conducted longitudinally using the interview and observation research techniques. 5. HARGA DIRI DAN DEPRESI PENGGEMAR KPOP YANG MELAKUKAN PEMBELIAN KOMPULSIF.

- Abstract
This study aimed to determine the relationship between self-esteem and depression with compulsive buying in Kpop Fans. This research used correlational quantitative method. There were a total of 285 respondents used as the sample in this study. The measuring instrument used in this research was 3 scales. The compulsive buying scale consisted of 15 items with a reliability of 0.871, the selfesteem scale consisted of 9 items with a reliability of 0.832 and the depression scale consisted of 20 items with a reliability of 0.912. Analysis of the data used multiple regression analysis techniques and partial correlation. The results showed that there was a relationship between self-esteem and depression with compulsive buying on Kpop Fans with R = 0.208 and Fcount = 6.337 with significance = 0.002 (p <0.05). The correlation between self-esteem and compulsive buying obtained a score of rx1y = -0.005 with a significance = 0.942 (p>0.05), meaning that there was no negative relationship between self-esteem and compulsive buying. The correlation between depression and compulsive buying obtained a score of rx2y = 0.205 with a significance = 0.007 (p <0.05), meaning that there was a positive relationship between depression and compulsive buying on Kpop fans. The first hypothesis is the relationship between self-esteem and depression with compulsive buying on kpop fans and the third is a positive relationship between depression and compulsive buying on kpop fans in this study is accepted while the second hypothesis in this study is a negative relationship between self-esteem and compulsive buying on fans kpop rejected. - Abstract
The phenomenon of compulsive buying that occurs in various countries continues to increase all the time, especially for women of generation Z. The demand for trend fulfillment causes women of generation Z to have the urge to buy fashion excessively to the point of losing control. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between narcissism, self-esteem, and compulsive buying in generation Z women. This study was a quantitative study that utilized multiple linear regression analysis technique. The sampling technique was carried out using accidental sampling with a total of 173 participants. This study utilized three instruments, namely Compulsive Buying Scale, Narcissism Personal Inventory (NPI-16), and Self-esteem Scale. Based on the results of data processing, it is known that there is a relationship between narcissism and selfesteem on compulsive behavior (F = 23.041, p<.01). - Abstract
Divorce affects the children. Study showed that most children from broken home families have lower self-esteem than children with “normal” family. Adolescents with low self esteem will evaluate their self bad. Gratitude Cognitive Behavior therapy predicted effective ways to change bad self evaluation to be better self evaluation for increasing self esteem. The aim of this research was for knowing the effectiveness of Gratitude Cognitive Behavior Therapy (G-CBT) to increase self esteem for adolescents from broken home families. This study applied quasi experimental method with single case A-B-A-B design and used quantitative data analysis methods by looking at changes in the score of measurement results based on the measurement time. The result of this study showed that self-esteem can be increased by gratitude cognitive behavior therapy and the impact of the therapy still exist amount 2 weeks. Removal of the treatment did not decrease score of self esteem to the starting point. The conclusion of this study is that Gratitude Cognitive Behavior Therapy (G-CBT) can increase self-esteem of teenagers with divorced parents. This effect persisted until 2 weeks after the intervention. Self-esteem did not decrease after therapy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Drug abuse and addiction have become one of the main problems that have had a maximum impact on human life around the world. In Malaysia, it does not miss out on this problem and has been well within the social landscape of the country. In the context of drug use, relapse or reinstatement of drug-seeking behavior, is a form of spontaneous rehabilitation involving repeated behaviors of drug use after a period of abstinence. This relapse is often observed in individuals either drug addiction or either a form of drug dependency. In reality, when more addicts are given treatment and rehabilitation services, the less the number of returning to the addiction, but the fact is the opposite. This study examines the profile and level of self-esteem of drug relapse among people under supervision (OKP) at IPD Tangkak, Johor. This study is descriptive using quantitative methods with a set of questionnaires that have been used to collect information. The study sample consists of 132 supervised people operated by AADK. The study found OKP's addiction profile was dominated by men, Malay descendants between the ages of 26 and 30 years old and married. The duration of repeated addicts is 2 to 3 years. Meanwhile, the level of self-esteem OKP shows that the statement of respondents often feels anxious to record the highest mean value that is (mean = 4.189, SP = 0.594). Thus, this study can explain the current situation on how addiction profile and level of self-esteem affect OKP is undergoing the drug treatment process. In terms of increased professionalism, the implications of this study can be utilized to AADK and PUSPEN officers as well as NGO members involved in working together to combat drugs as the main enemy of the country. Critical thinking skill is an important skill for nurses to make a better clinical decision in providing safe care. Critical thinking dispositions development is supported with sufficient self-esteem. The present study aimed to measure the level of critical thinking disposition and self-esteem among undergraduate nursing students in a public university in Malaysia. A cross-sectional study was carried out in a university involving 99 students. Data were collected by self-report questionnaires and analysed quantitatively. A total of 97% of the nursing student had a high level of critical thinking dispositions. Almost¾3/4 of the students had a moderate level of perceived self-esteem (74.7%). The critical thinking dispositions were significantly related to perceived self-esteem (p<0.044). Overall, the nursing student of this study had high critical thinking disposition and moderate self-esteem, which is very important for them to become a good nurse with critical thinking skill in the future. The close relationship between students and a teacher is psychologically important in the school teaching and learning process. The teacher's personality and character serves as model and becomes the source of inspiration for the students. The quality of psychological relationship between students and teacher can only be realized if it is supported by teacher's good personality. It is the quality of teacher's total attitude and behaviour, and therefore, constitutes the main requirement for optimum teaching and learning process. The original meaning of the term 'personality' as quoted from the experts suggests that it is a dynamic organization of psychopysic that determines one's behaviour, thoughts, and character. Such character and personality can be identified as an individual quality which is manifested through consistence behavioural patterns in respond to the environment. In Islamic point of view, one's personal behaviour and attitude is determined by his or her obedience to the God alone. A teacher's honor is part of his or her most important personality in realizing his/her professional tasks.
