Objective: To evaluate the impact of a specialization course on health management at work of the graduates. Method: Case study with quantitative and qualitative approach involving 121 graduates. Data collection was performed by applying validated scale and semi-structured interviews. Descriptive analysis and association tests of quantitative data and categorical thematic analysis were performed for the qualitative ones. Results: We identified average scores between 4.2 and 4.6, thus identifying the positive impact of the course on the work of graduates demonstrated by better systematization of administrative practices and people management. This study aimed to analyze the use of data and information from Primary Health Care by municipal managers. This is a cross-sectional study developed with 419 health managers from Minas Gerais State through an online questionnaire, built based on the literature, applied between 2017 and 2018. The data were treated using bivariate and multivariate analysis. The results indicate that managers use data and information to organize management in local health. The municipalities produce, make available and analyze these resources satisfactorily. The scarcity of infrastructure and equipment, training and financial resources was cited as an obstacle. Objective: To evaluate the impact of the capacitation of primary health care nurses on the health care of the person with stomies. Methodology: A cross-sectional study was carried out with 32 Primary Health Care nurses who participated in the training process proposed by a public higher education institution in Divinópolis-MG. An interview was conducted using a validated instrument to evaluate the training impact. Results: The evaluation showed that in 11 of the 12 items of the scale, the percentage of concordants (partial and total) is superior to 62%, which showed positive impact of the training process in the work environment. Conclusion: Training strategies that articulate teaching and service institutions favor knowledge. Measuring the impact of on-the-job training makes it possible to evaluate how much the educational action can lead to a change in behavior in the service. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: to analyze training processes of health managers and professionals in the implementation of the e-SUS Primary Care strategy in cities of Minas Gerais. Method: online questionnaires of the websurvey type were sent to the managers responsible for the implementation of the strategy in the selected cities; the data were processed with the aid of the statistical software Statistical Package for the Social Sciences 21.0. Results: managers from 114 cities of Minas Gerais participated in the study. About 71.9% of them claimed to have participated in training processes for the performance of the function, and 52.6% of the cities did not executed training for the adoption/use of the systems to health professionals. Conclusion: the process of implementation of the e-SUS Primary Care strategy in Minas Gerais, despite developments, presents weaknesses in the adoption of training processes for professionals who use the systems. Introduction: The role of healthcare professionals is crucial in providing vaccination information and reassuring pregnant women about the safety and benefits of immunization for mothers and children. The lack of immunobiological recommendation may be associated with difficulties in clinical indication and contraindication, management of side effects and adverse reactions to immunobiologicals, and lack of professional training. Additionally, the lack of measuring instruments for healthcare in the vaccination room is the rationale behind the elaboration and validation of tools for this purpose. Objective: To elaborate and validate the content and layout of an instrument that evaluates the knowledge of healthcare professionals on vaccinations for pregnant women. Materials and Methods: A methodological study was conducted for the elaboration of a measuring instrument. The Delphi Technique was used to validate the content and layout of the elements. The Content Validity Index (CVI) and the Content Validity Ratio (CVR) were used to calculate the degree of agreement between raters. To get the instrument score, in addition to the items of the evaluation of knowledge, a scoring criteria scale was also sent to the raters to evaluate the knowledge of the professionals based on the recommendations of the Ministry of Health on vaccinations for pregnant women. Results: All the items of the instrument obtained a variable CVI between 90% and 100% and a CVR between 0.7 and 1.0, confirming the validity of the content. Discussion and Conclusions: The instrument showed a satisfactory content validity index, which can be used to evaluate the knowledge about vaccinations for pregnant women. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: to analyze nursing management in the vaccine room, with emphasis on supervision, in a medium-sized city of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Method: a descriptive, qualitative, unique case study. The data were organized and analyzed through theme/category-based content analysis. Results: the findings were organized into two analytical categories: "Intervening factors in the management of the vaccine room", addressing the challenges for supervision, the need for an instrument to standardize this activity, lack of work process organization and overloading of functions. The second category: "Potentialities for the management in the vaccine room" points out as potentiating factors the organization of the nurse's time and agenda and the need for an instrument that systematizes the supervision activities. The aim of this study was to verify the immunization status of healthcare students and describe their knowledge of the spread of hepatitis B. An immunization survey was conducted at the Federal University of São João Del Rei (UFSJ) in 2010. 392 questionnaires were administered to assess vaccination status. The data were processed using EpiData 3.1 and Epi Info 6.0. Analysis of vaccination status showed that 51.2% of students had had a complete course of hepatitis B vaccination. Among the respondents, 53.1% reported having had contact with perforating or cutting equipment, and 4.1% had suffered injuries during clinical practice, 91.3% demonstrated knowledge of contagion through cutting and piercing materials, while 6.6% reported not knowing the modes of transmission of the disease. Healthcare students of UFSJ are not adequately immunized against hepatitis B, and more than half have had contact with cutting or perforating equipment that exposes them to vulnerability during their education.
