The specific features of the formation of concentration inhomogeneities in crystals grown by the Czochralski method (GaSb:Te, Ge:Ga) and by the Bridgman method (Y3Al5O12:Nd, ZnGeP2, GaSb:Te, Ge:Ga) are analyzed. Digital processing of growth striation (GS) images showed the presence of strict periodicity in the GS distribution along the boule length for the Czochralski-grown crystals (rotational GSs) and the absence of systematic GS distribution for the crystals grown by the Bridgman method. The influence of low-energy thermal effects on the structural and concentration inhomogeneities in gallium-doped germanium single crystals, grown by directional solidification, has been investigated. Consideration was given to the class of exponential queuing networks with batch arrivals and batch servicing. The messages arriving to the network nodes form random-size batches of customers associated with these nodes. Upon completion of servicing a current batch, it discharges the network and sends a message, if any, to the rest of the nodes according to some routing matrix. The necessary and sufficient conditions under which the stationary distribution of the network states is multiplicative were established in terms of the isolated nodes placed in a dummy random medium. Different technological solutions for growing GaSb(Te) and Ge(Ga) single crystals, making it possible to optimize the growth of highly homogeneous (at the microlevel) semiconductor crystals by the Bridgman method, are described.
