Background: Hypertension-related knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) of hypertensive patients can affect the awareness, treatment and control of hypertension. However, little attention has been paid to the association between the change of hypertension preventive KAP and blood pressure (BP) control in occupational population using longitudinal data. We assess the effectiveness of a workplace-based multicomponent hypertension intervention program on improving the level of KAP of hypertension prevention, and the association between improvement in KAP and BP control during intervention. Methods: From January 2013 to December 2014, workplaces across 20 urban regions in China were randomized to either the intervention group (n = 40) or control group (n = 20) using a cluster randomized control method. All employees in each workplace were asked to complete a cross-sectional survey to screen for hypertension patients. Hypertension patients in the intervention group were given a 2-year workplace-based multicomponent hypertension intervention for BP control. The level of hypertension prevention KAP and BP were assessed before and after intervention in the two groups. Results: Overall, 3331 participants (2658 in the intervention group and 673 in the control group) were included (mean [standard deviation] age, 46.2 [7.7] years; 2723 men [81.7%]). After 2-year intervention, the KAP qualified rate was 63.2% in the intervention groups and 50.1% in the control groups (odds ratio = 1.65, 95% CI, 1.36∼2.00, P <.001). Compared with the control group decreased in the qualified rate of each item of hypertension preventive KAP questionnaire, all the items in the intervention group increased to different degrees. The increase of KAP score was associated with the decrease of BP level after intervention. For 1 point increase in KAP score, systolic blood pressure (SBP) decreased by.28 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) decreased by.14 mmHg [SBP: β = -.28, 95%CI: −.48∼-.09, P =.004; DBP: β = −.14, 95%CI: −.26∼-.02, P =.024]. SBP and DBP was significantly in manual labor workers (SBP: β = −.34, 95%CI: −.59∼-.09, P =.008; DBP: β = −.23, 95%CI: −.38∼−.08, P =.003), workers from private enterprise, state-owned enterprise (SOE) (SBP: β = −.40, 95%CI: −.64∼−.16, P =.001; DBP: β = −.21, 95%CI: −.36∼−.06, P =.005) and a workplace with an affiliated hospital (SBP: β = −.31, 95%CI: −.52∼−.11, P =.003; DBP: β = −.16, 95%CI: −.28∼−.03, P =.016). The improvement of knowledge (SBP: β = −.29, 95%CI: −.56∼−.02, P =.038; DBP: β = −.12, 95%CI: −.29∼.05, P =.160), as well as attitude (SBP: β = −.71, 95%CI: −1.25∼−.18, P =.009; DBP: β =.18, 95%CI: −.23∼.59, P =.385) and behavior (SBP: β = −.73, 95%CI: −1.22∼−.23, P =.004; DBP: β = −.65, 95%CI: −.97∼−.33, P <.001) was gradually strengthened in relation to BP control. Conclusion: This study found that workplace-based multicomponent hypertension intervention can effectively improve the level of hypertension preventive KAP among employees, and the improvement of KAP levels were significantly associated with BP control. Given that input-based language and literacy environments provide socioculturally-enriched contexts for bilingual and biliteracy acquisition, the current study aims to explore the contribution of early input in various sociocultural contexts to later biliteracy development among -college-level Chinese heritage language (CHL) students. A group of CHL students (N = 195) participated in this study and completed a background survey about their early oral and print experiences in different sociocultural contexts. Biliteracy measurements including Chinese-English bilingual morphological awareness and reading ability were administered to the participants. Drawing on multivariate analyses, the study verified both intralingual and interlingual contributions of input-based experiences to biliteracy development. The study suggests that (1) community and after-school language and literacy support can have a long-term impact on the maintenance of heritage language literacy skills. (2) heritage language input experiences do not create obstacles for dominant language literacy development. In the high-temperature environment, a larger thermal expansion mismatch of a bimaterial leads to pronounced thermal stresses and interface crack growth. In this paper, a generalized fractional heat conduction model is used to determine the instantaneous thermal fracture behaviors of a bimaterial interface crack. An axisymmetric thermoelastic problem is solved with the aid of Goodier's thermoelastic displacement potential and Love's potential functions. A mixed initial-boundary value problem is then converted to a singular integral equation of second kind by using the Hankel and Laplace integral transforms. Numerical results of the intensity factors of heat flux and thermal stresses are evaluated using Stehfest's Laplace inversion scheme. The influence of fractional kernel functions with power and exponential law are analyzed, respectively, for aluminum-steel and steel-epoxy, respectively. Structurally colored objects with 3D geometries are intriguing in optical devices and visual sensors, but their preparation is bottlenecked by complicated procedures and limited material choices. Herein, a facile supramolecular 3D printing strategy is proposed via direct ink writing (DIW) supramolecular colloidal inks (SCIs) consisting of polymers and colloids based on supramolecular interactions to construct healable and recyclable structurally colored objects. Optimized supramolecular interactions balance the rheological requirements for DIW and the high particle volume fraction for the one‐step and immediate generation of structural color. The shear‐thinning and thixotropy features of the SCIs, characterized by a two‐order‐of‐magnitude decrease in viscosity during the printing process and 50% storage modulus recovery thereafter, ensure the reversible solid–liquid transition during the extrusion and deposition process. The short‐range ordered arrangements of colloids within the matrix give rise to angle‐independent structural color. Moreover, 3D structurally colored objects from the SCIs are healable and, more importantly, can be closed‐looped recycled thanks to the reversibility of supramolecular interactions. Leveraging optimized supramolecular interactions, various SCIs with a wide range of material choices meeting the DIW process are extended to construct 3D structurally colored objects directly. Second near‐infrared (NIR‐II) bioimaging technology shows broad application prospects in the field of biomedical due to its significant superiority in deep tissue penetration and high signal‐to‐background ratio. Among them, organic small molecule fluorophores have received progressively more consideration due to their low biotoxicity, high biocompatibility, rapid clearance, and good modification properties. As the key acceptor core, 2, 1, 3‐benzothiadiazole (BTD) derivative plays an essential role in the construction of donor‐acceptor‐donor type NIR‐II fluorophores. This mini‐review summarizes the research development of NIR‐II small molecule fluorophores based on BTD derivatives in the field of bioimaging, focusing on molecular design and photophysical properties, and introduces a part of the applications in the biological field. The study delves into the potential application of the direct injection (DI) hydrogen engine as a carbon-neutral power source, exploring mixing and combustion dynamics across varied injection pressures. This research identifies an optimal injection strategy based on a 3-cylinder 4-stroke cycle turbocharged DI hydrogen engine crucial for enhancing the combustion behavior, significantly influenced by mixture formation. Numerical simulation results for a single cylinder show that rapid flame propagation hinges on a relatively rich mixture surrounding the spark plug. Surprisingly, low-pressure injection demonstrates superior combustion performance under the late-injection strategy, emphasizing the importance of an adjusted nozzle diameter to compensate for reduced flow rates. Furthermore, increasing the nozzle diameter from 0.8 mm to 3.0 mm with an optimal injection timing approaches the same combustion performance under the same injection pressure of 15 MPa. Moreover, low-pressure injection not only augments nozzle sealing and durability but also exhibits promising combustion efficiency and power generation under specific conditions. Introduction: As a devastating neurological disease, spinal cord injury (SCI) results in severe tissue loss and neurological dysfunction. Pregnane X receptor (PXR) is a ligand‐activated nuclear receptor with a major regulatory role in xenobiotic and endobiotic metabolism and recently has been implicated in the central nervous system. In the present study, we aimed to investigate the role and mechanism of PXR in SCI. Methods: The clip‐compressive SCI model was performed in male wild‐type C57BL/6 (PXR+/+) and PXR‐knockout (PXR−/−) mice. The N2a H2O2‐induced injury model mimicked the pathological process of SCI in vitro. Pregnenolone 16α‐carbonitrile (PCN), a mouse‐specific PXR agonist, was used to activate PXR in vivo and in vitro. The siRNA was applied to knock down the PXR expression in vitro. Transcriptome sequencing analysis was performed to discover the relevant mechanism, and the NRF2 inhibitor ML385 was used to validate the involvement of PXR in influencing the NRF2/HO‐1 pathway in the SCI process. Results: The expression of PXR decreased after SCI and reached a minimum on the third day. In vivo, PXR knockout significantly improved the motor function of mice after SCI, meanwhile, inhibited apoptosis, inflammation, and oxidative stress induced by SCI. On the contrary, activation of PXR by PCN negatively influenced the recovery of SCI. Mechanistically, transcriptome sequencing analysis revealed that PXR activation downregulated the mRNA level of heme oxygenase‐1 (HO‐1) after SCI. We further verified that PXR deficiency activated the NRF2/HO‐1 pathway and PXR activation inhibited this pathway in vitro. In order to predict the remaining useful life (RUL) of lithium-ion batteries, a capacity degradation model may be developed using either simplified physical laws or machine learning-based methods. It is observed that even though degradation models based on simplified physical laws are easy to implement, they may result in large error in the application of failure prognostics. While data-driven prognostics models can provide more accurate degradation forecasting, they may require a large volume of training data and may invoke predictions inconsistent with physical laws. It is also very challenging for existing methods to predict the RUL at the early stages of battery life. In this paper, we propose a Bayesian physics-constrained neural network for battery RUL prediction by overcoming limitations of the current methods. In the proposed method, a neural differential operator is learned from the first 100 cycles of data. The neural differential operator is modeled with a Bayesian neural network architecture that separates the fixed history dependence from the time dependence to isolate epistemic uncertainty quantification. Using the battery dataset presented in the paper by Severson et al. as an example, we compare our proposed method with a simplified physics-based degradation forecasting model and two data-driven prognostics models. The results show that the proposed physics-constrained neural network can provide more accurate RUL estimation than the other methods with the same group of training data. Two extreme cases of static stability are voltage stability and power angle stability. The general stability analysis only focuses on one of the voltage stability or power angle stability. The stability limit and state change are studied for a certain kind of stability characteristics. In this paper, the stability limits of static voltage and power angle are derived, respectively. Therefore, different stability characteristics and their interrelationships can be further studied. The index to judge the dominant stability characteristic is defined. The proposed index only needs the system wide‐area measurement information to quickly and accurately judge the dominant static stability characteristics. The dominant instability (DI) characteristic index proposed in this paper is equal to 1 or −1, which can help to quickly identify whether the power angle stability or voltage stability is dominant. Background: A workplace-based primary prevention intervention be an effective approach to reducing the incidence of hypertension (HTN). However, few studies to date have addressed the effect among the Chinese working population. We assessed the effect of a workplace-based multicomponent prevention interventions program for cardiovascular disease on reducing the occurrence of HTN through encouraging employees to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Methods: In this post hoc analysis of cluster randomized controlled study, 60 workplaces across 20 urban regions in China were randomized to either the intervention group (n = 40) or control group (n = 20). All employees in each workplace were asked to complete a baseline survey after randomization for obtaining sociodemographic information, health status, lifestyle, etc. Employees in the intervention group were given a 2-year workplace-based primary prevention intervention program for improving their cardiovascular health, including (1) cardiovascular health education, (2) a reasonable diet, (3) tobacco cessation, (4) physical environment promotion, (5) physical activity, (6) stress management, and (7) health screening. The primary outcome was the incidence of HTN, and the secondary outcomes were improvements of blood pressure (BP) levels and lifestyle factors from baseline to 24 months. A mix effect model was used to assess the intervention effect at the end of the intervention in the two groups. Results: Overall, 24,396 participants (18,170 in the intervention group and 6,226 in the control group) were included (mean [standard deviation] age, 39.3 [9.1] years; 14,727 men [60.4%]). After 24 months of the intervention, the incidence of HTN was 8.0% in the intervention groups and 9.6% in the control groups [relative risk (RR) = 0.66, 95% CI, 0.58 ~ 0.76, P < 0.001]. The intervention effect was significant on systolic BP (SBP) level (β = − 0.7 mm Hg, 95% CI, − 1.06 ~ − 0.35; P < 0.001) and on diastolic BP (DBP) level (β = − 1.0 mm Hg, 95% CI, − 1.31 ~ − 0.76; P < 0.001). Moreover, greater improvements were reported in the rates of regular exercise [odd ratio (OR) = 1.39, 95% CI, 1.28 ~ 1.50; P < 0.001], excessive intake of fatty food (OR = 0.54, 95% CI, 0.50 ~ 0.59; P < 0.001), and restrictive use of salt (OR = 1.22, 95% CI, 1.09 ~ 1.36; P = 0.001) in intervention groups. People with a deteriorating lifestyle had higher rates of developing HTN than those with the same or improved lifestyle. Subgroup analysis showed that the intervention effect of BP on employees with educational attainment of high school above (SBP: β = − 1.38/ − 0.76 mm Hg, P < 0.05; DBP: β = − 2.26/ − 0.75 mm Hg, P < 0.001), manual labor workers and administrative worker (SBP: β = − 1.04/ − 1.66 mm Hg, P < 0.05; DBP: β = − 1.85/ − 0.40 mm Hg, P < 0.05), and employees from a workplace with an affiliated hospital (SBP: β = − 2.63 mm Hg, P < 0.001; DBP: β = − 1.93 mm Hg, P < 0.001) were significantly in the intervention group. Conclusions: This post hoc analysis found that workplace-based primary prevention interventions program for cardiovascular disease were effective in promoting healthy lifestyle and reducing the incidence of HTN among employees. Gram-positive (G+) bacterial infection is a great burden to both healthcare and community medical resources. As a result of the increasing prevalence of multidrug-resistant G+ bacteria such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcusaureus (MRSA), novel antimicrobial agents must urgently be developed for the treatment of infections caused by G+ bacteria. Endolysins are bacteriophage (phage)-encoded enzymes that can specifically hydrolyze the bacterial cell wall and quickly kill bacteria. Bacterial resistance to endolysins is low. Therefore, endolysins are considered promising alternatives for solving the mounting resistance problem. In this review, endolysins derived from phages targeting G+ bacteria were classified based on their structural characteristics. The active mechanisms, efficacy, and advantages of endolysins as antibacterial drug candidates were summarized. Moreover, the remarkable potential of phage endolysins in the treatment of G+ bacterial infections was described. In addition, the safety of endolysins, challenges, and possible solutions were addressed. Notwithstanding the limitations of endolysins, the trends in development indicate that endolysin-based drugs will be approved in the near future. Overall, this review presents crucial information of the current progress involving endolysins as potential therapeutic agents, and it provides a guideline for biomaterial researchers who are devoting themselves to fighting against bacterial infections. The direct injection (DI) hydrogen-fueled internal combustion engine (H 2 -ICE), as a promising carbon-neutral power device, has attracted more and more attention. However, the effects of the hydrogen injection strategy on the performance of H 2 -ICE lack in-depth analysis, even under the high injection pressure. Therefore, the present work investigated the thermal efficiency and NO x emissions with a single-hole injector over a wide range of high injection pressure and injection timing in a 3-cylinder turbocharged DI H 2 -ICE. The results show the strong dependence of high thermal efficiency on turbocharging and lean-burn strategies. The late-injection strategy can achieve higher thermal efficiency than the early-injection strategy, which can be applied at a wide range of loads. The effect of injection strategy on the brake thermal efficiency (BTE) mainly depends on the wall heat loss. Hydrogen late injection can reduce the wall heat loss by about 2% through strong mixture stratification. Furthermore, hydrogen late injection is always accompanied by a sharp increase in NO x emissions, even by orders of magnitude. This trade-off relationship between thermal efficiency and NO x emissions can be well optimized by a moderate late-injection strategy with an end-of-injection (EOI) of about 40 °CA. At the given load and start of injection (SOI), increasing the injection pressure from 5 MPa to 15 MPa can reduce the hydrogen injection duration by about 3 times. Under the higher injection pressure, the BTE performs a strong sensitivity to SOI. The BTE is improved by about 0.5% by optimizing SOI at P I n j = 5 MPa mainly due to the reduced compression loss caused by further delay to the SOI allowed by higher injection pressure, while this improvement increases to about 2.3% at P I n j = 15 MPa. However, at a given SOI, the highest BTE at P I n j = 5 MPa is nearly 1.5% higher than that at P I n j = 15 MPa, which implies the potential of low-pressure injection coupled with large-flow injectors. Finally, the DI H2-ICE performs well in terms of efficiency with a maximum BTE of 44.08%. • The interactions among injection pressure and injection phasing were clarified. • Engine performance under the high injection pressure was investigated in an actual engine. • NO x emissions can be reduced by a moderate late-injection strategy without decreasing BTE. • BTE is improved with the increased injection pressure due to the extended SOI windows. Although cellulose represents the most abundant biomass resource on Earth, its natural recalcitrance hinders its application for low-cost biofuels and high-value bioproducts on a large scale. In this study, we generated less recalcitrant cellulose nanofibril substrates by site-specific mutations and knockouts of three OsCESA4,7,9 isoforms that are essential as cellulose synthase complexes for the cellulose biosynthesis of secondary cell walls in rice. As a comparison with the wild type form, three genetically-engineered CESAs isoforms independently generated cellulose nanofibrils with the average lengths reduced by 63%, which accounts for the high density of the amorphous cellulose chains as the initial breakpoints for the consistently enhanced biomass enzymatic hydrolysis into fermentable sugars. The genetically modified cellulose nanofibrils efficiently produce ideal nanocrystals with the most reduced dimension to-date in three knockout lines, which are applicable as optimal intermediates for highly valuable bioproducts. The improved cellulose nanofibrils are also effective in inducing the secretion of lignocellulose-degradation enzymes from fungi (T. reesei) with the two cellulase (exoglucanases, β-glucosidases) activities elevated by 100% and 138%, and the total protein level increased by 44%. Our data thus reveal a novel green strategy for achieving high-quality diverse bioproduction by integrating the precise genetic modification of lignocellulose substrates with efficient biomass process technology. Objective: The probability density analysis was applied to automatically characterize the center of pressure (COP) data for evaluation of the stroke patients' balance ability. Methods: The real-time COP coordinates of 38 stroke patients with eyes open and closed during quiet standing were obtained, respectively, from a precision force platform. The COP data were analyzed and characterized by the commonly used parameters: total sway length (SL), sway radius (SR), envelope sway area (EA), and the probability density analysis based parameters: projection area (PA), skewness (SK) and kurtosis (KT), and their statistical correlations were analyzed. The differences of both conventional parameters and probability density parameters under the conditions of eyes open (EO) and eyes closed (EC) were compared. Results: The PA from probability density analysis is strongly correlated with SL and SR. Both the traditional parameters and probability density parameters in the EC state are significantly different from those in the EO state. The obtained various statokinesigrams were calculated and categorized into typical sway types through probability density function for clinical evaluation of the balance ability of stroke patients. Objective: The aim of this study was to examine the association between serum complement 1q (C1q) and the associated factors of acute ischemic stroke in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2DM). Methods: The baseline clinical variables of the participants were collected, and the levels of blood lipids, blood sugar, inflammatory cytokines, and C1q in the three groups were then compared. The variables which affected the associated factors of acute ischemic stroke in T2DM cases were determined. Results: The levels of C1q in the DAIS group were increased significantly compared with those in the T2DM group. Receiver operating characteristic curve analyses showed that the AUC for C1q and the combined diagnosis of acute ischemic stroke were 0.830 (95%CI 0.747–0.914), with a sensitivity of 0.854 and specificity of 0.780. The results of Pearson's correlation analyses demonstrated that C1q was associated positively with low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), fasting blood glucose (PBG), 2-h postprandial blood glucose (2h PG), and high-sensitive C reaction protein (hs-CRP) (all p <.05). Stratified analysis showed that there was a positive relationship between C1q and the associated factors of acute ischemic stroke for partial LDL-C, and hs-CRP strata. Logistic model analysis suggested that C1q was an independent risk factor for acute ischemic stroke in patients with T2DM. After adjusting for potential confounders, a one-standard deviation (SD) increase in C1q level was strongly related to an approximately 1.5-fold increased risk of acute ischemic stroke in cases with a hs-CRP ≥1.78 mg/L. Simple Summary: Bactrocera dorsalis is among the most economically harmful pests. The lure-and-kill approach is an environmentally friendly and innovative method that offers an opportunity for sustainable surveillance and control of B. dorsalis. However, such a strategy requires highly effective pest attractants. In the current study, we compared the attractive activity of twelve flower essential oils against B. dorsalis adults via the indoor trapping assay. Meanwhile, we studied the attractive features of clove bud essential oil (CBEO) for males under laboratory conditions. Further, we also investigated CBEO's attractancy to their natural predator, the ladybirds, and its cytotoxicity against non-target organisms' cells. In particular, sexually mature males were dramatically attracted to the CBEO. Furthermore, the CBEO exhibited no significant attractancy to ladybirds nor cytotoxicity against normal human and mouse cells. The results revealed that CBEO shows potential for development as an eco-friendly and novel attractant agent for the control of B. dorsalis. The oriental fruit fly Bactrocera dorsalis (Hendel) is a destructive polyphagous species that targets many economically important fruits and vegetables. The primary control of B. dorsalis relies mainly on the use of synthetic chemicals, and excessive use of these chemicals has adverse effects on both the environment and human health. Environmentally friendly management of pests involving plant essential oils is useful for controlling the populations of pests responsible for decreasing the yields and quality of crops. In the present study, we demonstrate that clove bud essential oil (CBEO) is strongly attractive to sexually mature males. Mature males responded to the CBEO differently throughout the day; the strongest response was elicited during the day and decreased at dusk. Virgin and mated mature males did not respond differently to CBEO. No obvious response behaviour to the CBEO was observed in two species of beneficial natural predator ladybirds. To address the issue of low efficiency in cooling heat exchangers at the deeper ends of mine fans, we propose a micro-unit approach for arranging the cooling water flow path within the heat exchanger. This method involves subdividing the heat exchanger into micro heat transfer units and determining the heat transfer characteristics of each individual unit through theoretical calculations and software simulations. Utilizing a computer program, these micro units are systematically arranged and combined to exhaust all possible cooling water flow paths. The ultimate objective is to derive the optimal structural arrangement of the cooling water flow path within the heat exchanger, with the goal of achieving the most efficient heat transfer effect. The findings reveal that the optimized structure, obtained through the micro-unit optimization method, achieves an average air outlet temperature of 311.65 K. This temperature is lower than that of the typical current-flow structure (311.88 K) and the typical counter-flow structure (311.68 K), indicating a superior heat transfer effect. Further examination demonstrates that the average air outlet temperature across all counter-flow structures is 311.68 K, which is notably lower than the average air outlet temperature of 311.90 K observed in the current-flow structure. This highlights the enhanced heat transfer effectiveness of the counter-flow structure. This novel method for optimizing the heat exchanger flow path applies the concept of finite element analysis to the optimization process, reducing computational and experimental costs. The inflammatory exudate in the diabetic wound is unidirectionally drained from the drainage layer to the absorbent layer via the self-pumping structure. The design guided by entropy enables the attainment of superior mechanical properties and further extends the concept of high-entropy alloys to intermetallic systems, thus forming high-entropy intermetallic compounds and even high-entropy intermetallic matrix composites. In this study, a novel high-entropy intermetallic matrix composites incorporating in-situ hierarchical TiB 2 particles was successfully synthesized through the spark plasma sintering. This method enables precise control over the microstructure, ensuring uniform distribution of the in-situ formed TiB 2 particles within the high-entropy intermetallic matrix. The in-situ formation of TiB 2 particles is achieved through a reactive sintering mechanism, which not only contributes to the composite's enhanced mechanical properties but also ensures excellent bonding between the precipitates and intermetallic matrix. The composites were composed of the ordered L1 2 intermetallic matrix and the hierarchical hexagonal-close-packed TiB 2 particles. Due to the L1 2 intermetallic matrix and the heterogeneous distribution of TiB 2 reinforcement, the intermetallic matrix composites demonstrate a high ultimate tensile strength of ∼1400 MPa. The TiB 2 play a pivotal role in impeding the propagation of cracks and the collaborate with distinctive disordered interfaces at grain boundaries, ensuring enough ductility. The disordered interfaces, exhibiting an average width in the range of 5 nm–10 nm, possess the capability to delay fracture and promote the strain-hardening rate during plastic deformation. The intermetallic matrix composites overcome the limitations typically associated with conventional intermetallics and offer an excellent strength and ductility balance. A high-precision gas detection system with a dual-incidence multi-pass cell (D-MPC) based on TDLAS was developed, which can simultaneously measure quadruple component gases. Two Distributed Feedback (DBF) Laser Diodes with central wavelength of 1654 nm and 2004 nm were utilized to measure methane (CH 4) and carbon dioxide (CO 2) for evaluating the performance of the system. High sensitivity and low frequency drift were accomplished by utilizing the second harmonic signals (WMS-2 f) detection and peak-locking technology. A LabVIEW-based control and acquisition program, which could be used for direct absorption and wavelength modulation, was developed. Kalman adaptive filtering, Least Mean Squares (LMS) adaptive filtering and S-G filtering were employed for denoising in direct absorption spectroscopy (DAS), respectively, and optimal denoising technology of S-G filtering was selected. According to Allan deviation analysis, the optimal detection precision for CH 4 and CO 2 was 12 ppb at an integration time of 36 s and 270 ppb at an integration time of 43 s, respectively. Upcycling waste plastics into advanced semiconductor photocatalysts provides a new strategy to reasonably and economically solve the huge amount of waste plastics, which remains challenging. Herein, a carbon nitride‐based donor–acceptor (D–A) conjugated copolymer by copolymerization of dicyandiamide and terephthalic acid from discarded polyethylene terephthalate (PET) using Zn(OH)2 as catalyst and template at 360–440 °C is synthesized. The morphology and structure of the conjugated copolymer are well regulated by the calcination temperature. The resultant conjugated copolymer exhibits merits of high light absorption and low electron–hole recombination probability. Consequently, it works excellently in the persulfate‐based advanced oxidation process for visible light‐driven photocatalytic degradation of tetracycline. The kinetic constant (3.4 × 10−2 min−1) is 40.5 and 2.3 times that of the conjugated copolymer system and persulfate system, respectively. Furthermore, the reactive species (including •OH, SO4•−, •O2−, 1O2, and h+) and degradation intermediates of tetracycline are analyzed to expound its degradation process. Han painting is an important art display form in Chinese history; it has a history of hundreds of years. It is the embodiment of a higher level of Chinese painting. Han paintings can also show the development of China's political economy and culture. However, with the continuous progress of time, the patterns of Han paintings and the color characteristics of Han paintings will be greatly damaged. This limits people's research on the civilization displayed by Han paintings. At the same time, changes in the environment also have a great relationship with the integrity of Chinese painting. Therefore, the study of the impact of environmental protection on the integrity of Han paintings is crucial to the study of Chinese civilization. It is difficult for traditional research methods to discover the quantitative relationship between environmental protection and the integrity of Han paintings. In this study, the atrous convolutional neural network (ACNN) in the artificial intelligence method and the GRU method were used to explore the relationship between environmental protection and the patterns, colors, and shapes of Chinese paintings. The research results show that the ACNN method and the GRU method can better predict the patterns, shapes, and color characteristics of Chinese paintings. Through research, it can also be found that the color and pattern features of Chinese paintings contain obvious time characteristics, which requires the GRU method for feature extraction. Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is a vascular complication of diabetes mellitus that leads to visual injury and blindness. Both angiogenesis and inflammation play an important role in the pathogenesis of DR. Here we aimed to explore the mechanisms of mitsugumin 53 (MG53) in ameliorating the dysfunction induced by high glucose (HG) in humans retinal microvascular endothelial cells (HRECs). HRECs were subjected to HG in the presence or absence of MG53 overexpression. The effect of MG53 on cell viability and inflammatory response in HG-treated HRECs was measured using the Cell Counting Kit-8 and ELISAs, respectively. Expression of MG53, EGR1, p-STAT3, FGF2, TGFB1, and Angiopoietin-1 in HG-treated HRECs was quantified by western blot or quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction. HG significantly downregulated MG53 in HRECs, which reduced cell viability while inducing angiogenesis and inflammatory response. Upregulation of MG53 reversed these effects of HG. MG53 directly interacted with EGR1 and repressed its expression, which decreased phosphorylation of STAT3 and downregulated FGF2, TGFB1, and Angiopoietin-1. EGR1 up-regulation or STAT3 activation antagonized the protective effects of MG53. MG53 alleviates HG-induced dysfunction in HRECs by repressing EGR1/STAT3 signaling. • Singular elastic field induced by a rigid line in a flexural nanoplate. • The effective shear forces at the parabolic rigid line tips admit an r − 3 / 2 singularity. • The bending moments at the parabolic rigid line tips have an inverse square-root singularity. • Surface effects cause nanoplates to become stiffer than classic plates. In this work, the elastic analysis of a micro/nanoscale plate with a stiffer ribbon adhering to it is studied. The stiffer ribbon is understood as a rigid line. The problem is solved by superposition and the singular elastic field induced by a rigid line is concerned when the plate is during bending. The singular elastic field of a micro/nanoscale elastic thin plate with surface elasticity is determined for a parabolic rigid line. The theoretical analysis is based on a mixed boundary value problem that is solved through the Fourier integral transform technique. According to the classical Kirchhoff thin plate theory incorporating surface elasticity, some basic equations are established. The mixed boundary value problem is reduced to a singular integral equation of the first kind with Cauchy kernel. Explicit expressions for the moments and effective shear forces as well as the surface and bulk stress components in any position of the whole nanoplate are obtained. The singularity coefficients of the moment and effective shear force at the tip of the rigid line are determined in closed form. From the obtained results, we find that the normal stress components for bulk and surface phases and bending moments at the rigid line tips have a usual inverse square-root singularity, but the effective shear forces behave like r − 3 / 2 , r being the distance from the tip of the rigid line or admit an r − 3 / 2 singularity. Methods: A total of 80 patients undergoing radical prostatectomy were randomly divided into two groups: general anaesthesia with QLB (QLB group; n = 40) and general anaesthesia with sham QLB (normal saline [NS] group; n = 40). QLB or sham QLB was performed before the induction of anaesthesia. Sufentanil was intravenously administered for postoperative analgesia. The primary outcome was the pain score (measured using a numerical rating scale [NRS]) at different time points within 48 h postoperatively. Secondary outcomes included the cumulative dose of sufentanil within 48 h postoperatively, subjective comfort, grip strength, first time of exhaustion, first fluid intake time, time to get out of bed, length of postoperative hospital stay and overall satisfaction. The SPSS software, version 17.0, was used for all statistical analyses. In order to solve the problem of small chip size, high fan-out ratio and other fan-out packaging, JCET ADVANCED PACKAGING CO. LTD. introduced a new kind of encapsulation material and a new wafer reconstruction method to complete the fan-out packaging. The new wafer reconstruction method is to divide the wafer into a single chip first, the single chip is facedown to the metal carrier, then the new encapsulation material is attached to the metal carrier with a single chip, and finally the reconstructed wafer is completed by lamination, leveling, and silicon support processes. However, it also faces warpage problems after curing. Excessive warpage poses a significant challenge to subsequent redistribution layer fabrication, mid-testing, and other automatic processes. In this article, finite element methods are used to study the effects of chip thickness, fan-out area, the encapsulation material properties, and the warpage of support silicon wafer after curing. The results indicate that wafer warpage will gradually increase with the thickness increasing of the encapsulated material, whereas the encapsulation material with low modulus and small Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE) can improve warpage performance. High modulus, thicker support silicon has a significant effect on reducing warpage, and larger CTE support silicon can also effectively reduce wafer warpage because the larger CTE support silicon reduces the degree of mismatch with the encapsulation CTE. Thinner chips and higher fan-out areas tend to increase the warpage of the reconstituted wafer. The study of warpage of package structure and material properties can provide theoretical basis for predicting and improving warpage during the design and evaluation phase of the product. In this study, the mechanical behaviors of point contact wire rope (PCWR) and line contact wire rope (LCWR) were compared based on the finite element method. The three-dimensional models of PCWR and LCWR with the same diameter were established. Furthermore, the stress, deformation and contact slip characteristics of the two cases were analyzed with the aid of ABAQUS CAE software. The following findings were concluded. Stress is highly concentrated in PCWR, and its overall stress is higher than that of LCWR. In addition, for both PCWR and LCWR, the highest maximum principal stress occurs at the core wire in the independent wire strand, indicating that the independent wire strand is more likely to break and fail due to overload. The results obtained based on Costello's theory and the finite element analysis are in good agreement. Meanwhile, for PCWR, the torsion at the loading end is smaller and the axial strain is larger under the identical axial stress; for both PCWR and LCWR, the steel wires at the contact positions of adjacent spiral strands are deformed most seriously. With the increase of axial stress, the contact stress between steel wires increases linearly, and the overall contact stress and the relative slip values of steel wires between spiral strands in PCWR are greater than those in LCWR. The equivalent model of modern power system is more and more difficult to describe its complex stability characteristics, with the continuous promotion of power conversion. This paper proposes an improved equivalent method to consider the voltage deviation between the system side and the load side. On this basis, the voltage stability margin index is derived. Therefore, the relationship between voltage stability margin and reactive power compensation can be analyzed. Finally, the correctness and effectiveness of the method are verified by IEEE39 node system and actual provincial grid. The proposed method can obviously improve the voltage stability margin when applied to the small summer mode of the actual system. This article presents a reliable and robust rapidly exploring random tree (R2-RRT*) algorithm to tackle challenges in mission planning of off-road autonomous ground vehicles (AGVs) under uncertain terrain environment. Two types of mobility reliability metrics, namely state mobility reliability (SMR) and mission mobility reliability (MMR), are first defined to quantify the mobility reliability of an AGV and to incorporate mobility reliability into mission planning. SMR measures the probability that a vehicle can pass through a specific location on a map of interest, whereas MMR quantifies mobility reliability of a mission path with the consideration of dependence of soil properties and slope over space. Based on the defined SMR and MMR metrics, two reliability-based robust mission planning models are developed to identify optimal paths that have robust travel time and satisfy specific reliability requirements. Moreover, a reliability-based path smoothing algorithm is developed to address the suboptimality of R2-RRT*. Results of a case study demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed models and algorithms. To identify a reliable and robust path, we extend RRT* to R2-RRT* that achieves a tradeoff between mission cost and reliability. The proposed reliability-based mission planning model, however, is not limited to RRT* and can also be integrated with other path planning algorithms. Adjusting the pH value is a useful method to improve the hydrochar properties during hydrothermal carbonization (HTC). The distribution of various sulfur species in hydrochar is considered as an important parameter affecting its further utilization. Nevertheless, the detailed effects of pH on the redistribution of different sulfur forms are still unknown. This study investigated the sulfur transformation pathways during HTC of sewage sludge with different feedwater pH (0–14) at 220 °C. Both acidic and alkaline feedwater facilitate the conversion of organic sulfur from the hydrochar into the stable species in aqueous products (i.e., sulfate-S). The latter especially leads to a decreased sulfur retention ratio of 31.97 % at pH=0 and 60.13 % at pH=14. Under acidic conditions, organic sulfur species such as sulfone-S and aliphatic-S undergo enhanced cyclization to form aromatic-S/thiophene-S in aqueous and hydrochar products; additionally, the oxidation of sulfone-S predominates the generation of sulfate-S in aqueous products at pH < 1. Under alkaline conditions, the aromatic-S/thiophene-S can be further oxidized into sulfate-S in aqueous products at pH>13. Furthermore, the interaction between water-soluble sulfate-S and hydrolytic intermediates (i.e., glucose, heterocyclic compounds) is intensified at pH=14, resulting in increased formation of sulfone-S and sulfite-S in aqueous products. • A fiber optic respiratory sensor based on optical fibers and silicon tube is proposed. • Static and accurate performance testing of fiber optic respiratory sensors is proposed. • The proposed respiratory sensors show high sensitivity and wide measurement range detection. An optical fiber sensor based on the principle of intensity modulation is proposed, which is composed of plastic optical fibers and silicone tubes. Purpose: The significant global burden of endometrial cancer (EC) and the challenges associated with predicting EC recurrence indicate the need for a dynamic prediction model. Surface defects and internal porosities resulting from the additive manufacturing process contribute to a scatter in fatigue lifetime, increasing uncertainty in applications such as aerospace engineering. This study proposes a combined approach of machine learning and finite element modelling to explore the interaction between random porosity distribution and high surface roughness on the fatigue lifetime of micro-sized additively manufactured parts. To achieve this, a high-fidelity finite element model is constructed with randomly distributed porosities and surface defects. A fatigue lifetime estimation model, developed using a combination of continuum damage mechanics and the theory of critical distance, is then applied to predict lifetime using effective stress extracted from simulations. A total of 1200 simulations are conducted using these models to examine the interaction effects of subsurface porosity and surface defects on localized stress distribution and fatigue lifetime. Subsequently, two machine learning algorithms, Support Vector Regression and Kernel Ridge Regression, are employed to estimate fatigue lifetime, accounting for the effects of randomly distributed subsurface porosities and surface defects. Eighty percent of the developed finite element models are employed to construct an input dataset, incorporating geometrical features of pores, and to train the algorithms, while the remaining 20% are reserved for verification purposes. The observed results demonstrate that the combined effect of random porosity and surface defects increases fatigue scatter behaviour, leading to greater uncertainty in lifetime prediction. Effective optical path lengths (EOPLs) of 64.5, 42.5, and 20.5 m could be easily achieved by adjusting the incident beam angle. The trace gas sensor system employed a 1.653 µm distributed feedback diode laser to target a strong methane (CH 4) absorption line, and direct absorption spectroscopy (DAS) was used to evaluate the performance of the system with a 64.5 m EOPL. A Savitzky–Golay filtering algorithm was employed to denoise the measured signal, and a third harmonic signal was used for laser frequency locking. A signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 191 was achieved, which corresponds to a detection sensitivity of 0.78 ppmv. The system response time was obtained through measurement of CH 4 at concentration of 0 ppmv and 20 ppmv at 298 K and 1 atm, and it was found to be 11 s. Kalman filtering was applied to improve the detection sensitivity of the gas sensor. The stability of the system was analyzed using Allan deviation, and a minimum detectable limit of 21 ppbv was obtained for an integration time of 580 s. In situ continuous monitoring of atmospheric CH 4 characteristics was performed for 72-h. Resilience is an important capability for many complex systems to mitigate the impact of extreme events as well as timely restoration of system performance in the aftermath of a disruptive event. In this article, we investigate a bilevel predisaster resilience-based design optimization approach for the configuration of logistics service centers. In the bilevel program, the upper level model considers the impact of potential disruptive events, and characterizes system planners’ decision regarding possible service center configuration that consists of two decision variables—construction of service center at candidate sites and their specific capacities. The optimization in the upper level model considers both the travel time of each customer from their origins to the service centers and the within-center service time including average waiting time in the queue and mean processing time. The lower level model captures customers’ behavior in choosing the distribution center to fulfill their requests with the goal of minimizing the cumulative travel time for all the customers. The objective of the formulated bilevel program is to maximize the resilience of the service center configuration, thereby increasing the ability of the system to withstand unexpected events. To tackle this NP-hard optimization problem, an adaptive importance sampling approach—cross-entropy-based method—is leveraged to generate samples that gradually concentrates all its mass in the proximity of the optimal solution in an iterative way. Exploration for an earth-rich and competent electrocatalyst for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) is a significant and challenging approach to confronting the resources shortage and environmental crisis. Porous N-doped Mo 2 C@C (N-Mo 2 C@C) nanoparticles self-encapsulated in nanospheres are presented as a high-performing HER electrocatalyst fabricated through a one-pot solvothermal method followed by hydrogen calcination. Structural analyses show that acetamide can regulate the size of the nanospheres, provide a N source for doping and form porous structures composed of Mo 2 C, which suggests the exposure of extensive active sites as well as the contact and diffusion among the medium, electrodes, and gas. Theoretical calculations show that the N doping can enhance the activity of the Mo-C bond, reduce the energy of capturing hydrogen intermediates, and increase the catalytic conductivity. Recent achievements in triterpenoid semi-synthesis are discussed in this short review, which is divided into three parts according to the type of synthetic strategy being employed. These strategies include functionalization, modification of the carbon skeleton, and glycosylation. In the section on functionalization strategies, both functional group interconversions and new functional group installations on triterpenoid starting materials are described. The section on modification of the carbon skeleton is divided into three parts according to the tactic being applied, and incorporates rearrangement of the carbon skeleton, ring scission, and introduction of an additional heterocyclic ring. Meanwhile, in the section on glycosylation, notable achievements in the semi-synthesis of both natural and artificial triterpene saponins are discussed. Theoretical and experimental studies have revealed that at small length scales, surface effects contribute significantly to overall elastic deformation. In this paper, we analyze a torsional problem for a nanosized penny-shaped crack in an infinite homogeneous isotropic elastic medium with surface elasticity on the boundary of the crack. The resulting model of deformation leads to a nonclassical mixed boundary value problem which is analyzed using the Hankel transform technique leading to a pair of dual integral equations. The latter are solved numerically with the solution demonstrating excellent convergence. We examine the contribution of surface elasticity by comparing the calculated torsional displacement and bulk stresses to their counterparts in the absence of surface elasticity. The influence of surface and bulk shear modulus on the torsional stress intensity factors is analyzed and displayed graphically. Our results show that stress intensity factors are dependent on both the crack size and the bulk/surface material properties, revealing that the presence of surface elasticity may hinder or promote crack growth, depending on whether the surface shear modulus takes positive or negative values. The insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) module that is sensitive to high temperature has been identified as one of the most fragile parts in electric vehicles. In this article, a new adaptive electrothermal model that is independent of solder aging is proposed to acquire junction temperature in real time for the health management of IGBTs. Compared with the traditional adaptive electrothermal model, the proposed model can update the parameters of thermal resistance and thermal capacitance simultaneously to adapt to the solder aging conditions. Besides, the update process just relies on the measured case temperatures, which is cost-effective and is not affected by the degradation of bond wires and gate oxide. Simulation and experimental results are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. Background: Identifying lignocellulose recalcitrant factors and exploring their genetic properties are essential for enhanced biomass enzymatic saccharification in bioenergy crops. Despite genetic modification of major wall polymers has been implemented for reduced recalcitrance in engineered crops, it could most cause a penalty of plant growth and biomass yield. Alternatively, it is increasingly considered to improve minor wall components, but an applicable approach is required for efficient assay of large population of biomass samples. Hence, this study collected total of 100 rice straw samples and characterized all minor wall monosaccharides and biomass enzymatic saccharification by integrating NIRS modeling and QTL profiling. Results: By performing classic chemical analyses and establishing optimal NIRS equations, this study examined four minor wall monosaccharides and major wall polymers (acid-soluble lignin/ASL, acid-insoluble lignin/AIL, three lignin monomers, crystalline cellulose), which led to largely varied hexoses yields achieved from enzymatic hydrolyses after two alkali pretreatments were conducted with large population of rice straws. Correlation analyses indicated that mannose and galactose can play a contrast role for biomass enzymatic saccharification at P < 0.0 l level (n = 100). Meanwhile, we found that the QTLs controlling mannose, galactose, lignin-related traits, and biomass saccharification were co-located. By combining NIRS assay with QTLs maps, this study further interpreted that the mannose-rich hemicellulose may assist AIL disassociation for enhanced biomass enzymatic saccharification, whereas the galactose-rich polysaccharides should be effectively extracted with ASL from the alkali pretreatment for condensed AIL association with cellulose microfibrils. Conclusions: By integrating NIRS assay with QTL profiling for large population of rice straw samples, this study has identified that the mannose content of wall polysaccharides could positively affect biomass enzymatic saccharification, while the galactose had a significantly negative impact. It has also sorted out that two minor monosaccharides could distinctively associate with lignin deposition for wall network construction. Hence, this study demonstrates an applicable approach for fast assessments of minor lignocellulose recalcitrant factors and biomass enzymatic saccharification in rice, providing a potential strategy for bioenergy crop breeding and biomass processing. Freestanding objects have endured seismic damage during major historical earthquakes, but their seismic performance is not fully understood yet. A steel frame was constructed with steel rods and moveable plates to investigate the effect of the center of gravity (CG) on the seismic response of nonstructural freestanding objects. The location of the CG can be tuned to change the CG in the frame. Two groups of shaking table tests were carried out using instrumented floor motion. To verify the shaking table test results, an analytical model was defined based on Housner's rocking model. The experimental response modes were predicted correctly. The experimental kinetic coefficient of friction obtained in the slow-pull tests agreed with the peak acceleration of the steel frame in the shaking table tests. The displacement amplitude generally decreased with increasing height of CG (h cg); however, this trend was not observed when the CG was fixed. Identical properties were observed for the rotational response of the frame. The experimental and analytical rocking responses were in agreement in terms of amplitude, but not in terms of time history and trajectories. The overturing criteria of overturing velocity, spectral velocity, and vulnerability, were evaluated using the experimental results. The overturning spectral acceleration was not accurately predicted using Housner's equation. The overturning probability and ratio were correctly predicted, and they increased with the increase in h cg. Parents with dependent children are at a high risk of physical inactivity. While previous studies have mostly focused on how parents' time constraints and changing social network may inhibit leisure time physical activity (LTPA) over the long-term, less is known about the integrated effects of parenting and spatial-temporal environmental exposure on the execution of LTPA during certain episodes of a day. By adopting an integrated social-spatiotemporal-environmental model (ST-ISEM) based on micro-timescale retrospective longitudinal analysis, we examine the association between LTPA participation and spatial-temporal environmental exposure at a micro-timescale, i.e., at the episode-level in working adults' workday, and specifically how parenting integrated with spatial-temporal environmental exposure can jointly influence episode-level LTPA participation. Using data from the day reconstruction method from 701 individuals in Shenzhen, China, we find that parenting may affect the participation of LTPA on workdays not only by shaping temporal environmental factors (time constraint path and social network path), but also by interacting with built environmental exposures (spatial path), both at the episode-level. This study contributes to the theorizing of an integrated social-environmental model for health and wellbeing by extending the ISEM from the life span to the micro-timescale and also by highlighting the importance of temporality in environmental exposure and health studies. It also contributes to the spatial temporal behavioral perspective of time geography literature by clarifying multiple pathways through which social and spatiotemporal environmental factors could interact and jointly affect health behaviors at a micro-timescale. This study contributes to the literature on parenting and LTPA decline by enriching and deepening the understanding of the time constraint and social network pathways through which parenting leads to LTPA change at the micro-timescale. While time constraints may decrease parents' LTPA at long-term, increasing physical activities related to childcare after work may strongly obstruct moderate-to-vigorous LTPA at a micro-timescale. This study also identifies a spatial pathway by which parenting hinders LTPA due to changing understanding and usage of urban spaces. Background: This study applied the susceptible-exposed-infectious-removed (SEIR) model to analyze and simulate the transmission mechanisms of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in China.Methods: The population migration was embedded in the SEIR model to simulate and analyze the effects of the amount of population inflow on the number of confirmed cases. Based on numerical simulations, this study used statistical data for the empirical validation of its theoretical deductions and discussed how to improve the effectiveness of epidemic prevention and control considering population migration variables. Statistics regarding the numbers of infected people in various provinces were obtained from the epidemic-related data reported by China's National Health Commission.Results: This study explored how the epidemic should be prevented and controlled from the perspective of population migration variables. It found that the combination of a susceptible population, an infected population, and transmission media were important routes affecting the number of infections and that the migration of a Hubei-related infected population played a key role in promoting epidemic spread. Epidemic prevention and control should focus on regions with better economic conditions than the epidemic region. Prevention and control efforts should focus on the more populated neighboring provinces having convenient transportation links with the epidemic region. To prevent and control epidemic spread, priority should be given to elucidating the destinations and directions of population migration from the domestic origin of infections, and then controlling population migration or human-to-human contact after such migration.Conclusions: This study enriched and expanded on simulations of the effects of population migration on the COVID-19 epidemic and China-based empirical studies while offering an epidemic evaluation and warning mechanism to prevent and control similar public health emergencies in the future. 2D layered materials have sparked great interest from the perspective of basic physics and applied science in the past few years. Extraordinarily, many novel stacked structures that bring versatile properties and applications can be artificially assembled, as exemplified by vertical van der Waals (vdW) heterostructures, twisted multilayer 2D materials, hybrid dimensional structures, etc. Compared with the ordinary synthesis process, the stacking technique is a powerful strategy to achieve high‐quality and freely controlled 2D material stacked structures with atomic accuracy. This review highlights the most advanced stacking techniques involving the preparation, transfer, and stacking of high‐quality single crystal 2D materials. Apart from the 2D–2D stacked structures, 2D–0D, 2D–1D, and 2D–3D structures offer a prospective platform for the increasing application of 2D materials. The assembly strategy and physical properties of these stacked structures strongly depend on the factors in the stacking process, including the surface quality, angle control, and sample size. In addition, comparative analysis tables on the techniques involved are also available. The summary of these strategies and techniques will hopefully provide a valuable reference for relevant work.
