An accurate and efficient heat bath method plays a key role in atomic simulations of the thermal and mechanical properties of single-crystal silicon. Here, focusing on the single-crystal silicon (111) layer, which is a crucial lattice structure commonly employed as a substrate for chips, we propose a heat jet approach for finite temperature atomic simulations of silicon layers. First, we formulate the linearized dynamic equations for the silicon atoms and calculate the dispersion relation and lattice wave solutions. Then, an appropriate matching boundary condition is chosen for designing the two-way boundary condition, which allows incoming waves to inject into the lattice system while eliminating boundary reflections. Combining the two-way boundary condition and phonon heat source, the heat jet approach for the silicon (111) layer is proposed. Numerical tests illustrate the accuracy and effectiveness of the heat jet approach in simultaneously resolving thermal fluctuations and controlling temperature. Furthermore, we simulate the propagation of a Gaussian hump at a given temperature with the heat jet approach compared to the Nosé–Hoover heat bath. Numerical results demonstrate that the heat jet approach can well describe the movement of large structural deformations among thermal fluctuations without boundary reflections. Bond line thickness (BLT) is an essential parameter of thermal conductive composite gels as the thermal interface material (TIM). Extensive research has been performed on designing next-generation TIMs with high thermal conductivity; however, it remains elusive how to link laboratory measurements and the theoretically predicted BLT. Here, we propose a new model to estimate BLT based on a rheological property, in which the TIM is assumed to be a simple power law fluid. To avoid the unrealistic situation of the BLT tending to zero, we introduce a decaying exponential function to describe the influence from fillers during the lid attach process and rebuild the force balance equation. Compared with previously reported models, the theoretical prediction BLT based on the proposed model is in good agreement with the experimental data. The two-dimensional laser-based Ångstrom method measures the in-plane thermal properties for anisotropic film-like materials. It involves periodic laser heating at the center of a suspended film sample and records its transient thermal response by infrared imaging. These spatiotemporal temperature data must be analyzed to extract the unknown thermal conductivity values in the orthotropic directions, an inverse parameter fitting problem. Previous demonstration of the metrology technique used a least-squares fitting method that relies on numerical differentiation to evaluate the second-order partial derivatives in the differential equation describing transient conduction in the physical system. This fitting approach is susceptible to measurement noise, introducing high uncertainty in the extracted properties when working with noisy data. For example, when noise of a signal-to-noise ratio of 10 is added to simulated amplitude and phase data, the error in the extracted thermal conductivity can exceed 80%. In this work, we introduce a new alternative inverse parameter fitting approach using physics-informed neural networks (PINNs) to increase the robustness of the measurement technique for noisy temperature data. We demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach even for scenarios with extreme levels of noise in the data. Specifically, the PINN-approach accurately extracts the properties to within 5% of the true values even for high noise levels (a signal-to-noise ratio of 1). This offers a promising avenue for improving the robustness and accuracy of advanced thermal metrology tools that rely on inverse parameter fitting of temperature data to extract thermal properties. Cobalt oxides are known for their excellent heat transfer properties. The main component of cobalt oxides is the CoO2 monolayer, which exhibits high-temperature superconductivity caused by strong electron–phonon coupling (EPC). We here systematically investigate the structural stability, electronic structure, and magnetism of the CoO2 monolayer using first-principles and Monte Carlo simulations. On this basis, we further study the changes in the spin energy gap, magnetic axis direction, and other properties of the CoO2 monolayer with the changes in carrier concentration. By appropriately doping the CoO2 monolayer with holes, the magnetic axis direction of the CoO2 monolayer can be reversed, thereby enhancing its potential application in the field of spin electronic devices. Monte Carlo simulation is used to study the regulation of different factors on the magnetothermal properties of the CoO2 monolayer. Through the analysis of physical parameters such as Curie temperature (TC) and bandgap, we find that the appropriate carrier concentration and magnetic field can not only regulate the magnetothermal properties of materials but also further improve the efficiency of materials in low-temperature environments. Thermal transport plays a pivotal role across diverse disciplines, yet the intricate relationship between amorphous network structures and thermal conductance properties remains elusive due to the absence of a reliable and comprehensive network's dataset to be investigated. In this study, we have created a dataset comprising multiple amorphous network structures of varying sizes, generated through a combination of the node disturbance method and Delaunay triangulation, to fine-tune an initially random network toward both increased and decreased thermal conductance C. The tuning process is guided by the simulated annealing algorithm. Our findings unveil that C is inversely dependent on the normalized average shortest distance L n o r m connecting heat source nodes and sink nodes, which is determined by the network topological structure. Intuitively, the amorphous network with increased C is associated with an increased number of bonds oriented along the thermal transport direction, which shortens the heat transfer distance from the source to sink node. Conversely, thermal transport encounters impedance with an augmented number of bonds oriented perpendicular to the thermal transport direction, which is demonstrated by the increased L n o r m . We here report the electronic structure calculation of GaInSe3 and GaInTe3 monolayers with the P3m1 (no. 156) space group. The electronic structure and thermoelectric properties of the monolayers are calculated through the Vienna Ab initio Simulation Package and BoltzTraP2 codes. The dynamic and thermodynamic stabilities were verified by calculating their phonon spectra and simulating ab initio molecular dynamics. The monolayers were found to have a direct bandgap, with both PBE + SOC and HSE06 + SOC potentials. The lattice thermal conductivity of GaInTe3 monolayer calculated using Phono3py code shows ultra-low values due to enhanced phonon–phonon scattering. Combining electrical and thermal transport, the values have been evaluated. Importantly, the p-type GaInTe3 has excellent thermoelectric properties at 700 K, with a z T value of 2, indicating that the p-type GaInTe3 has potential application in the field of thermoelectricity. The binary high-pressure phase diagram of the Ta–Sb system was constructed for the first time in this study, utilizing the evolutionary algorithm USPEX and density functional theory (DFT). Ten pressurized dynamically and mechanically stable or metastable novel phases of Ta–Sb were discovered, including I4/mmm-TaSb2, P4/nmm-TaSb, P-3-Ta2Sb7, I4/mmm-Ta2Sb3, P-4m2-Ta7Sb, Pm-3-Ta7Sb, Pmm2-Ta15Sb, P4/nmm-TaSb3, I4/mmm-Ta3Sb4, and I4/mmm-Ta2Sb5. The compounds P-4m2-Ta7Sb and Pmm2-Ta15Sb exhibit promising characteristics as non-centrosymmetric superconductors (NCSs), with their superconducting critical temperature (TC) being 3.831 and 3.221 K, respectively. The application of pressure tuning is predicted to transform the topological characteristics of P4/nmm-TaSb, causing it to transition from a topological insulator state to a Dirac semimetal state and ultimately reverting back to a topological insulator state. Therefore, the P4/nmm-TaSb compound is considered a promising candidate to investigate topological and superconducting excitations. Moreover, the mechanical and thermal properties of Ta–Sb binary phases were also investigated. The thermal conductivity of I4/mmm-TaSb2, P4/nmm-TaSb, and P4/nmm-TaSb3 all surpasses 20 W m−1 K−1 at 1000 K, showcasing their excellent thermal conductivity properties. The present study addresses the research gap concerning high-pressure structures in the Ta–Sb binary system, thereby offering valuable insights for the design and development of intermetallic compounds within this binary system. Owing to the unique asymmetric geometry, Janus monolayer compounds exhibit various exotic thermal properties and have promising applications in thermal management. In this study, we combine machine learning potentials and the phonon Boltzmann transport equation to perform a comparative study of the thermal transport properties in Janus XBAlY (X = Se, S, Te; Y = S, Se, O; X ≠ Y) monolayers. Our findings unveil a thermal conductivity (κ p) ranking as SeBAlS > TeBAlO > SBAlSe, contradicting the conventional expectation that a higher κ p is typically observed when the average atomic mass is smaller. At room temperature, the κ p of SeBAlS is 174 Wm−1 K−1, which is 4.8 times that of SBAlSe when considering three-phonon scattering processes. Moreover, the consideration of four-phonon scatterings does not alter such ranking. The anomalous κ p phenomenon was explained through a detailed analysis of the phonon–phonon scattering mechanism, phonon bandgap, phonon anharmonicity, and chemical bond strength. This study highlights the intricate relationship between atomic mass, bonding characteristics, and thermal properties, offering insights for designing Janus materials with tailored thermal conductivity. Hafnia (HfO2) is a potential candidate for the high-k gate dielectrics in next-generation high-power electronics. Its thermal transport properties, which determine the performance of these related high-power electronics, are critical while rarely investigated. Here, the thermal transport properties of HfO2 in a wide temperature range of 300–2000 K with a phase transition between monoclinic and tetragonal phases at ∼1765 K, are systematically studied based on the temperature-dependent effective potential landscapes with both propagating and coherence thermal transport considered. It is found that the cage-like structure of monoclinic HfO2 results in the avoid crossing in the phonon band structures, which increases the three-phonon scattering largely. Some phonon modes with significant scattering matrix can have relatively larger 3ph and 4ph scattering rates in tetragonal HfO2. Consequently, the thermal conductivity of HfO2 is only 11.95–1.72 W/mK at 300–2000 K. Our results further show that propagating phonon channels dominate the thermal transport in HfO2 and contribute at least 70% to the total thermal conductivity. The rest of the thermal conductivity of HfO2 results from the coherence thermal transport channels, which is caused by the overlap of phonons. Four-phonon scatterings are found to be significant for the thermal transport in tetragonal HfO2, which can result in a thermal conductivity reduction of ∼50%. Thermal transport in wurtzite aluminum nitride (w-AlN) significantly affects the performance and reliability of corresponding electronic devices, particularly when lattice strains inevitably impact the thermal properties of w-AlN in practical applications. To accurately model the thermal properties of w-AlN with high efficiency, we develop a machine learning interatomic potential based on the atomic cluster expansion (ACE) framework. The predictive power of the ACE potential against density functional theory (DFT) is demonstrated across a broad range of properties of w-AlN, including ground-state lattice parameters, specific heat capacity, coefficients of thermal expansion, bulk modulus, and harmonic phonon dispersions. Validation of lattice thermal conductivity is further carried out by comparing the ACE-predicted values to the DFT calculations and experiments, exhibiting the overall capability of our ACE potential in sufficiently describing anharmonic phonon interactions. As a practical application, we perform a lattice dynamics analysis using the potential to unravel the effects of biaxial strains on thermal conductivity and phonon properties of w-AlN, which is identified as a significant tuning factor for near-junction thermal design of w-AlN-based electronics. The lattice thermal conductivity (LTC) of Ga 2 O 3 is an important property due to the challenge in the thermal management of high-power devices. In this work, we develop machine-learned neuroevolution potentials (NEPs) for single-crystalline β - Ga 2 O 3 and κ - Ga 2 O 3 and demonstrate their accuracy in modeling thermal transport properties. Combining NEP-driven homogeneous non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations with tensor analysis, we determine the spatial distributions of LTCs for two Ga 2 O 3 crystals, showing dissimilar thermal behaviors. Specifically, β - Ga 2 O 3 shows isotropic thermal transport properties, with the LTCs along [100], [010], and [001] directions being predicted to be 10.3 ± 0.2 , 19.9 ± 0.2 , and 12.6 ± 0.2 W/(m K), respectively, consistent with previous experimental measurements. For κ - Ga 2 O 3 , our predictions suggest nearly isotropic thermal transport properties, with the LTCs along [100], [010], and [001] being estimated to be 4.5 ± 0.1 , 3.9 ± 0.1 , and 4.0 ± 0.1 W/(m K). The reduced LTC of κ -Ga 2 O 3 vs β -Ga 2 O 3 stems from its restricted low-frequency phonons up to 5 THz. Furthermore, we find that the β phase exhibits a typical temperature dependence slightly stronger than ∼ T − 1 , whereas the κ phase shows a weaker temperature dependence, ranging from ∼ T − 0.5 to ∼ T − 0.7 . We present results of resonant ultrasound spectroscopy (RUS) measurements applied to granular high explosive materials at different bulk pressing densities and degree of thermal conditioning. The material chosen in this study is a ubiquitously used explosive material known as pentaerythritol tetranitrate (PETN), which is used commercially in civil and defense applications both as a binderized plastic bonded explosive material and an unbinderized neat material. However, changes in granular PETN bulk elastic properties due to thermal conditioning, which could have implications for better understanding environmental aging-related effects, have not been well studied even though it is believed that elasticity may play an important role in explosive material initiation mechanisms. Furthermore, monitoring elastic property changes in granular explosive pressings has not yet been demonstrated using RUS, which is an appealing non-destructive characterization tool that requires only dry point contact with the explosive material. To this end, we report the first study using RUS to quantify the elastic properties of binderized and neat PETN pressings as well as to quantify changes in elastic properties as a function of both thermal conditioning and bulk pressing density. Elastic stiffness coefficients, sometimes more commonly referred to as elastic constants, calculated from the RUS measurements on the different PETN-based materials show a significant increase for the post-conditioned samples compared to the pre-conditioned samples. This trend of increasing elastic properties with thermal conditioning was consistent for different density pressings, different thermal exposure conditions, and even different neat PETN pressings of differing average crystal sizes and/or specific surface areas. The continuous upgrading of electronic technology has facilitated the integration and miniaturization of electronic and electrical equipment, as well as putting great pressure on the multifunctional demand for internal materials. Developing insulating materials with both low permittivity and high thermal conductivity has become imperative. This perspective focuses on polyimide (PI), which is the top material of the polymer material pyramid, discusses the characteristic parameters that affect its dielectric property and thermal conductivity. A series of basic schemes to regulate the dielectric/thermal properties of PI are summarized, revealing the bottlenecks and drawbacks of the current research. Future development trends of PIs featured low permittivity-high thermal conductivity are anticipated, and novel ideas are proposed for the development of new generation of multifunctional PIs. Highlights In this electronic era, there is a demand to switch from conventional polymers to conducting biopolymers. We developed conducting biopolymer nanocomposites of cashew gum (CG) and polypyrrole (PPy) with zinc oxide (ZnO) nanofillers [CG/PPy/ZnO] via in‐situ oxidative polymerization using a sustainable solvent. These nanocomposites were characterized using Fourier‐transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), UV–visible spectroscopy, field emission scanning electron microscope (FE‐SEM), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The FTIR signal at 855 cm−1 confirms the successful inclusion of ZnO nanofillers into the biopolymer. UV–vis absorption of the blend nanocomposite increases with the nanoparticle doses. Among the various blend nanocomposites, the least bandgap energy was observed for 7 wt% ZnO loading. FE‐SEM revealed homogeneous dispersion of ZnO nanofillers in the CG/PPy blend at 7 wt% ZnO. TGA and DSC demonstrated that the CG/PPy/ZnO nanocomposites have better thermal stability and glass transition temperature than the pure polymer blend, indicating enhanced thermal properties. The CG/PPy/7 wt% ZnO showed the highest conductivity, 4.62 times greater than the pristine blend at 100 Hz. Dielectric constant, activation energy, AC conductivity and dielectric loss measurements demonstrated that the nanocomposites outperformed the pure polymer blend. Complex impedance analysis revealed increased impedance with rising temperature. Overall, CG/PPy/ZnO nanocomposites exhibit superior optical, morphological, thermal, electrical, and dielectric properties, making them promising for energy storage and optoelectronic applications. Whey protein hydrolysates, derived from enzymatic hydrolysis of whey protein isolates or concentrates, offer enhanced bioavailability and solubility compared to intact whey protein. In this study, whey protein hydrolysates (WPHs) having different hydrolysis degrees (5%, 10%, and 15%) were produced and muffin cakes were enriched with the addition of WPHs. In general, the addition of WPHs showed a significant effect on oil and protein content while the emulsion activity was improved with the increased hydrolysis degree (HD). The degree of hydrolysis increment resulted in a significant increase in both antioxidant power and antiradical activity of the WPHs. Ferric‐reducing antioxidant power and ABTS radical scavenging activity ranged between 18.83–87.27 mg TE/100 g and 211.8–5063.1 mg TE/100 g, respectively. The highest FRAP and ABTS values were recorded for the 15% HD while the lowest was for the native whey protein isolate (WPI). The induction periods giving a clear information for the oxidative stability were 1593 min for the control muffins, and it was 1654 for the muffin added with WPI. Rheological data revealed that all cake batter samples including WPHs showed viscoelastic behavior. While improving the thermal conductivity of composites, single‐size carbon nanotubes (CNT) often degrade their mechanical properties due to the agglomerates. To overcome this limitation, this study reported thermoplastic resin matrix composites synergistically reinforced with small, medium, and large‐size carbon nanotubes (S‐CNT, M‐CNT, and L‐CNT). Using the thermal conductivity (λ) and mechanical properties (flexural strength [F], compressive strength [C] and tensile strength [T]) as the response values, we conducted 21 sets of mixing design experiments and developed the associated quadratic term models. Further multi‐objective optimization was carried out for the above response values. Optimized multiscale CNT synergistically modified composites (S‐CNT, M‐CNT, and L‐CNT contents of 1.25, 7.02, and 2.56 wt%) exhibited a λ value of 1.168 W/mK, which was 121% higher than that of pure composite and also superior to the same content of S‐CNT‐ (1.031 W/mK), M‐CNT‐ (1.016 W/mK), and L‐CNT‐modified composites (0.983 W/mK). Additionally, the optimized composite demonstrated excellent mechanical properties (F = 1482 MPa, C = 848 MPa, and T = 1759 MPa), which were 13%, 11%, and 13% higher than those of the pure composites, respectively, and also surpassed those of the S‐CNT‐, M‐CNT‐and L‐CNT‐modified composites. The relationship between interfacial structure and thermal conductivity in epoxy resin/Al2O3 composite is important but is still elusive. Here, we illuminate this issue by investigating the role of four silane coupling agents in thermal conductivity for epoxy resin/Al2O3 composites. The results show that 3‐glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane (KH560) is the best silane coupling agent to modify Al2O3, resulting in the lowest viscosity and the highest thermal conductivity of the epoxy resin/Al2O3‐KH560 composite compared with alternative systems. This is attributed to the strong interfacial interaction between Al2O3‐KH560 and epoxy resin, as confirmed by the Fowkes model and broadband dielectric spectroscopy. The interfacial thermal resistance between the epoxy resin and Al2O3 is also quantitatively measured via a photothermal radiometry technique. The epoxy resin/Al2O3‐KH560 also has the lowest interfacial thermal resistance (1.50 ± 0.02 × 10−6 m2 K W−1), compared with the other three systems. Nanofluids, characterized by the dispersion of nanoparticles in a base liquid, have attracted significant attention in recent years due to their exceptional thermal properties. Specifically, the specific heat capacity of nanofluids plays a crucial role in the design and optimization of heat transfer systems. Traditional experimental methods for determining the specific heat capacity of nanofluids are often limited in terms of cost, time, and operating condition ranges. To address these limitations, this research focuses on the development of a novel predictive model for estimating the specific heat capacity of nanofluids. This study aims to develop a machine learning regression model called Gradient Boost Regression (GBR) with Grid Search optimization (GSO) for accurately predicting the specific heat capacity of aluminum nitride (Al2N3) nanoparticles that are suspended in both water and an ethylene glycol (EG) solution. The GBR-GSO model capitalizes on the strengths of GBR, which can effectively capture complex relationships, and GSO, a metaheuristic optimization technique inspired by the law of gravity. By integrating these two approaches, we aim to create a robust and accurate predictive model for specific heat capacity in nanofluids. To develop and validate the GBR-GSO model, a diverse dataset based on experimental-specific heat capacity collected from the literature has been designed. The performance of the model has been evaluated by comparing its predictions with experimental data. The GBR-GSO model achieved 99.99% accuracy with the experimental data of specific heat capacity. This research contributes to the advancement of nanofluid-based heat transfer systems by providing an effective tool for predicting the specific heat capacity of nanofluids. Highlights By applying an electric field, the thermal conductivity(λ) of composites can be enhanced through the induced orientation of high λ fillers within the matrix. As far as the DC electric field is concerned, the pattern of the electric field application time on the λ of the composites is not clear. In this work, a 400 V/mm DC electric field was selected to prompt the alignment of boron nitride (h‐BN) within the epoxy resin (EP) matrix, with an in‐depth analysis of how the timing of the electric field application influences the λ of the composites. Results demonstrate that the λ of h‐BN/EP composites exhibits a pattern of increasing, decreasing, then increasing and finally stabilizing when the electric field application time is 0–480 min. When the electric field was applied for 20 min, the composites exhibited a maximum λ of 0.544 W/(m K), a value that is 3.88 times of pure EP, and 2.32 times of that of the composites without electric field under the same filling content. In addition, the composite exhibits an AC breakdown field strength (Eb) that is slightly elevated compared to the pure EP. Boron nitride (h‐BN) was successfully oriented in epoxy resin (EP) matrix by electric field induction. λ of the composite is proportional to orientation Angle of h‐BN in the matrix. λ of composite can be increased by electric field induced fillers orientation. This study presents the eco-friendly composites coating with advanced properties that are prepared by chitosan (CS)-modified graphene oxide (GO) filled acrylic-based coating. Photo-curable acrylic-based nanocomposite containing different amounts of chitosan-modified graphene oxide (CS–GO) and the effect of CS–GO on the coating morphology, UV-curing, transparency, tribological, antimicrobial, thermal and anticorrosion properties was studied. The curing study confirmed that the CS–GO absorbed photon but did not affect the final conversion of the coatings. The results of corrosion analysis demonstrated that the CS–GO filled nanocomposite coatings have higher corrosion protection ability than that of pure acrylic and GO filled coatings. The antimicrobial properties of CS–GO filled coating showed that the antimicrobial performance enhanced as the concentration of CS–GO increased. The optical transmittance study shows that the coating's film transparency decreased with increasing CS–GO concentration, but all of the nanocomposite coatings have a high visible transmittance. This study attributes the enhanced properties to the dispersion of the chitosan-modified GO, which greatly improved the interfacial strength of CS–GO and polymeric matrix and enhanced corrosion properties. The effects of Ta doping on the thermal and electrical properties of SnO 2 varistors were researched. The results showed that the thermal conductivity is 2.01 WK−1m−1, the nonlinearity coefficient is 43, and the leakage current density is 0.7 μA/cm2 when the Ta doping level reaches 0.2 mol%. According to the measurement results of the EPR, SEM/EDS, and XRD, the Ta dopant can reduce the oxygen vacancy concentration, which was generated during the sintering. The decline of the oxygen vacancy concentration reduces the phonon scattering, then the thermal conductivity of the varistors is improved. On the other hand, the reduction of the oxygen vacancy concentration elevates the barrier height, so the nonlinearity coefficient is improved and the leakage current density is declined. Exploring new applications of negative thermal expansion (NTE) materials is a recent research hotspot. In this work, the IV A element Sn was used to tailor the thermal expansion and dielectric properties of NTE material ZrMgMo 3 O 12 , and the samples Zr 1–x Sn x MgMo 3 O 12 (x = 0.05, 0.10, 0.15, 0.20, 0.25) can be used in the field of high-frequency dielectric ceramics. Both the substitution amount of Sn and sintering temperature have a certain effect on the properties of Zr 1-x Sn x MgMo 3 O 12. The coefficients of thermal expansion (CTE) can be adjusted between near zero thermal expansion (ZTE) (−0.24 × 10−6/K−1) and NTE (−8.16 × 10−6/K−1) and become larger toward negative as the amount of Sn increased under the same sintering temperature. The dielectric constants of Zr 1-x Sn x MgMo 3 O 12 can be adjusted in the range of 130∼155, which are about 25 times than ZrMgMo 3 O 12. The dissipation factors of Zr 1-x Sn x MgMo 3 O 12 were adjustable between 4.37 × 10−4 and 5.54 × 10−4, meeting the application requirements of high-frequency dielectric ceramics. This research shows that Sn can adjust the thermal expansion properties and significantly improves the dielectric properties of ZrMgMo 3 O 12 , so that Zr 1-x Sn x MgMo 3 O 12 materials have high value in the field of high-frequency dielectric ceramics. In present work, high entropy (MoTaTiVW)C X ceramics with different carbon stoichiometries (X = 3–6) were produced using spark plasma sintering. The microstructure, mechanical properties, and thermal properties of (MoTaTiVW)C X with different carbon stoichiometries were studied. At X = 3, the carbon deficiency resulted in a multiphase structure of the sample, (MoTaTiVW)C 3 with a Mo-rich carbide phase. At X = 3.5, the single-phase rock salt structure was formed despite carbon vacancies of up to 30 %. The relative density of (MoTaTiVW)C X gradually decreases as the carbon stoichiometry increases from X = 3 to X = 6. The concentration of carbon vacancies affects the sintering activation energy, which can enhance mass transfer and promote the densification process. The Vickers hardness of (MoTaTiVW)C X shows an overall decreasing trend as the carbon stoichiometry increases from X = 3.5 to X = 6, peaking at 20.4 ± 0.4 GPa at X = 3.5. The fracture toughness increases and then decreases, peaking at 4.4 ± 0.2 MPa m1/2 at X = 4. The thermal conductivity of (MoTaTiVW)C X gradually increases, then decreases and finally increases with the increase of carbon stoichiometry. At room temperature, the maximum value of thermal conductivity is 6.35 ± 0.29 W/m·K of (MoTaTiVW)C 5 and the minimum value is 5.32 ± 0.35 W/m·K of (MoTaTiVW)C 5.5. At 1000 °C, the thermal conductivity of (MoTaTiVW)C X ranges from 15.94 ± 0.37 W/m·K to 19.56 ± 0.45 W/m·K. As the concentration of carbon vacancies decreases, the decrease in point defect concentration will reduce the degree of lattice distortion, thereby reducing phonon scattering and affecting thermal conductivity. Thermal camouflage technology can effectively hide an object by lowering its infrared emissivity and reducing its surface temperature. So far, it has been a challenge to realize thermal camouflage at high-temperatures with a single material. Here, we report a Ti 3 AlC 2 MAX phase material that exhibits excellent thermal camouflage properties from room temperature to 500 °C, and maintains a low emissivity of 0.25 at 500 °C, which is difficult to achieve for most metals due to the rapid increase in emissivity caused by oxidation. The thermal camouflage mechanism of Ti 3 AlC 2 was analyzed on the basis of experimental results and first-principles calculations, providing a feasible approach to select other MAX phases (such as Ti 3 SiC 2 , Cr 2 AlC, and Ti 2 AlC) with attractive thermal camouflage performance. Ti 3 AlC 2 and other MAX phases are promising candidates for thermal camouflage applications due to their low emissivity, high-temperature stability, good oxidation resistance and ease of fabrication. The thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) system, a pivotal technology for advanced aviation engines and ground gas turbines, mitigates direct interaction between high-temperature gas and high-temperature alloy substrates. In this investigation, a series of high-entropy Eu 2 B 2 O 7 (where B = Y, Yb, Ce, Zr, Hf, Ta, and Nb) oxides were synthesized through solid-state reactions. By manipulating B-site cations and introducing substantial atomic size disparities, as well as mass and charge disorder, we synthesized a highly disordered high-entropy Eu 2 B 2 O 7 oxide. This oxide exhibits a disordered fluorite structure and commendable thermal insulation attributes. The observed thermal conductivity of Eu 2 (Y 0.2 Yb 0.2 Zr 0.2 Nb 0.2 Ta 0.2) 2 O 7 ranges from 0.94 to 1.13 W·m–1·K–1, which can be ascribed to amplified lattice anharmonicity and disorder causing supplementary phonon scattering. In addition, It also shows the thermal expansion coefficient of 10.52 × 10−6 K−1 and high-temperature stability. Difunctional glycidyl azide polymer (GAP) is an energetic binder promising for propellant formulations. The multifunctional fluorine‐containing GAP has been synthesized to enhance its mechanical properties. This work outlined multifunctional GAP partially grafted with 1,2,3‐triazole‐5‐(α‐hydroxyl)‐fluorinated polyether (GAP‐g‐3F) synthesized by thermal and catalyst‐free azide‐alkyne cycloaddition reaction, in which the azide groups were from GAP and electron‐deficient alkynes from β‐propargyl‐α‐hydroxyl poly (tri‐fluoropropane glycidyl ether) (PHP3F). PHP3F was synthesized via the typical cationic ring‐opening polymerization of 2‐((2,2,2‐trifluoroethoxy) methyl) oxirane and propargyl alcohol as the initiator. The chemical structures, molecular weight, and thermal properties were characterized by FTIR, NMR, GPC, DSC, and TGA, respectively. HNMR results showed that 8 % of total azide groups in GAP were grafted. GAP‐g‐3F had a slightly higher glass transition temperature than that of GAP. The results of TGA showed that GAP‐g‐3F had suitable thermal decomposition resistance up to 200 °C. The thermal properties, mechanical properties, cross‐linking network structures, and microstructures of the polyurethane networks cured with hexamethylene diisocyanate trimer as a crosslinking agent were determined and compared by TGA, universal tensile test, swelling measurement, and SEM, respectively. The initial decomposition temperature of GAP‐g‐3F‐based polyurethane networks (GAP‐g‐3F‐PU) was around 220 °C, thus meeting the requirements for propellants. In addition, GAP‐g‐3F‐PU exhibited superior mechanical properties, showing an almost twelvefold increase in tensile strength to 16.9 MPa compared with difunctional GAP‐PU with 1.4 MPa tensile strength. The results of the swelling measurement revealed that the GAP‐g‐3F‐PU sample showed a higher crosslinking density in comparison to the GAP‐PU sample. SEM results indicated that the multifunctional fluorine‐containing GAP could enhance compatibility between the soft and hard segments of polyurethanes, leading to a decrease in their separation degree. This finding showed that the synthesis of a multifunctional GAP partially grafted with fluorinated polyether via a triazole ring may be a promising solution to decrease the separation degree increase of PUs, thereby improving the mechanical properties. Phosphors with multifunctional applications have attracted extensive research, especially in thermometer and anti‐counterfeiting fields. Herein, a series of Pr3+‐doped YNbO4 (YNO) phosphors with adjustable photoluminescence and red persistent luminescence (PersL) performances are developed. YNO host exhibits the blue self‐activated luminescence, and the different Pr3+ emission peaks possess various thermal stability properties due to the thermal quenching channel generated by the intervalence charge transfer state between Pr3+ and Nb5+ ions. Two kinds of fluorescence intensity ratio models with high absolute and relative sensitivities are realized to measure the temperature under dual‐wavelength excitation. Moreover, YNO:Pr3+ exhibits the red PersL with a duration of about 120 s upon ceasing the UV excitation light source. The fabricated YNO:Pr3+‐polydimethylsiloxane films display different luminescence patterns with the passage of time after turning off UV light, which can cleverly achieve dynamic conversion. These results demonstrate that YNO:Pr3+ phosphor has potential applications in dual‐wavelength excited thermometry and dynamic anti‐counterfeiting fields. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Thermal runaway (TR), a critical failure mode in lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs), poses significant safety risks and hinders wider application of LIBs. TR typically begins at a localized heat source and spreads across the cell. Understanding thermal front propagation (TFP) characteristics, such as front and velocity, is crucial for assessing energy release and temperature distribution for battery hazardous estimation. Recent studies assume that TR within cells propagates at a near‐constant velocity, based on the reaction kinetics and thermal properties. Here, an intra‐battery TR model is further proposed and it indicates that TFP velocity stabilizes when the front is distanced from the heat source. Theoretical estimates for propagation velocity and front are developed and validated through numerical simulations and experimental tests from the NREL Battery Failure Databank. The energy release rate during TFP and the impact of preheating based on a point heat source are explored. This work clarifies the long‐standing clouds of the thermal font propagation behaviors within the single cell, highlights the power and beauty of mathematics modeling to describe the complicated thermal behaviors, and provides important guidelines for thermal hazardous understanding for next‐generation batteries. Highlights A fluorinated polyimide (PI‐FTD) was synthesized for preparing a thermally conductive PI matrix and composites. Additionally, surface‐treated boron nitride (BN) was incorporated into the PI‐FTD via the solution casting method to form efficient heat paths along the through‐plane direction. The resultant composite demonstrated remarkable characteristics, including an impressive through‐plane thermal conductivity of 3.6 W mK−1, a substantial tensile strength of 69.4 MPa, and excellent thermal stability. When this composite was applied to light‐emitting diodes, it effectively managed heat, reducing the operating temperature by 29°C. The PI‐FTD/BN‐OH composites can potentially improve thermal management in electronic devices. A novel fluorinated polyimide (PI‐FTD) was fabricated. Introducing CF3 functionalities in the PI‐FTD provides high thermal stability. BN‐OH reinforced the thermal and mechanical properties of the composites. This work reports polymer/metal double‐shell microcapsules with polysulfone (PSF) and copper as walls for application in self‐lubricating polymer. First, polyalphaolefin 40 (PAO40) was selected as lubricant oil, and PAO@PSF single shell microcapsules were prepared. A critical issue for the formation of copper layer is the sensitization of PSF shell, which can affect not only the adhesion between PSF shell and copper layer, but also the density of copper layer. The sensitization conditions were discussed in detail, and the corresponding effect on the formation of copper layer was evaluated. PAO@PSF/Cu microcapsules obtained under optimal sensitization condition were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA), x‐ray energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS) and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). A uniform and compact copper layer improved the thermal properties of microcapsules. PSF/Cu microcapsules maintained relatively complete spherical shape when were heated to 300°C, while the PSF microcapsule softened and deformed at 200°C. The self‐lubricating polyamide 6(PA6) composites containing PAO@PSF/Cu microcapsules were fabricated at 230°C, microcapsules maintained complete structure and uniform distributed in the polymer matrix. Coefficient of friction (COF) and wear rate of PA6 composites were tested under different friction conditions. Compared with pure PA6, 15 wt.% PAO@PSF/Cu microcapsules could reduce the COF by 79.5%, and the wear rate was decreased by 98.3% under 300 rpm sliding speed and 50 N friction load. The strength of zirconium diboride ceramics was tested by three different methods, 3‐point flexure, 4‐point flexure, and compression. Nearly full‐density ceramics were obtained by hot pressing commercial ZrB2 powder with the addition of .5 wt.% carbon as a sintering aid. The thermal properties and hardness were studied for ZrB2 milled with ZrB2 and WC media. Based on phase purity and higher thermal conductivity, ZrB2 ceramics prepared from powders milled with ZrB2 media were selected for mechanical property studies. The strength in 3‐point flexure was 546 ± 55 MPa. The flexure strength was 476 ± 41 MPa in 4‐point bending, which was ∼20% higher than the previously reported value of 398 MPa for ZrB2 with similar grain sizes due to higher relative density and lower impurity contents. Compression testing was performed at room temperature, and the strength was 1110 ± 358 MPa. Finally, the fracture toughness of pure ZrB2 ceramics was determined by the chevron‐notched beam method to be 3.6 ± .7 MPa m1/2. The strength and fracture toughness values are higher than those previously published for ZrB2 ceramics and can be attributed to higher density and lower grain size. The strength‐limiting flaw sizes were comparable to the grain size, suggesting that porosity and impurity phases did not play a significant role in the strength of these ceramics. This study focused on developing microstructural, thermal, and radiation shielding changes in Al50Si25B25 powders using mechanical alloying techniques. Based on the x‐ray powder diffraction data, the crystallite size and microstrain of the 100‐hours milled powder were calculated as 0.25 nm and 50.33 %, respectively. The solubility of silicon in the α‐aluminium matrix increased with longer mechanical alloying duration. Transmission electron microscope analyses further showed that the alloy particulates had an average size of 3 μm and an average grain size of 0.226 nm. The radiation shielding properties of the Al50Si25B25 powders indicated that the Linear Attenuation Coefficient value increased from 0.0554±0.1689 cm−1 to 1.0632±0.2425 cm−1 with an increase in the thickness of the Al50Si25B25 alloy. This work successfully demonstrated the potential of mechanical alloying techniques to enhance the microstructural and thermal properties of Al50Si25B25 powders. This study utilizes a multidisciplinary approach, combining simulation experiments, thermal expansion analysis, XRD, SEM, and physical property assessments to investigate the firing temperature in illitic-kaolinitic porcelain. Our findings indicate that the accuracy of the thermal expansion method depends on both the actual firing temperature and dwell time. When dwell time is uncertain, the method provides a range of possible actual firing temperatures, differing by approximately 100 °C. Remarkably, as the porcelain body nears full vitrification, the determined firing temperature tends to be notably higher. A critical analysis of previous research suggests potential overestimation of ancient kiln temperatures. Additionally, our study highlights the usefulness of bulk density, water absorption, porosity, and mullite content in determining dwell time. The pivotal role of Brownian and thermophoresis in investigating the flow characteristic of polar nanofluid is important nowadays due to various engineering applications. The enhanced thermal and transport properties in the field of biomedical nanomedicine for hyperthermia treatments, and for enhancing the efficiency of heat exchange processes in cooling electronic devices, heat exchangers, and automotive engines the use of Brownian and thermophoresis is important. Therefore, the present study reveals the importance of Darcy–Forchheimer inertial drag combined with the space‐ and temperature‐dependent heat generation/absorption on the flow of polar nanofluid over an elongating surface. The surface is considered to be permeable for which the hydromagnetic flow in the presence of thermal radiation specifically, Brownian and thermophoresis affects the flow phenomena significantly. The proposed flow model designed with the aforementioned physical properties is standardized into the set of nonlinear ordinary equations by the implementation of suitable similarity rules. Further, the characteristics of various physical quantities are deployed by solving the system by using traditional Rung–Kutta fourth‐order technique. Further, the analysis of several factors is deployed briefly via graphically, and simulation of rate coefficients is presented through tables. The important outcomes of the study are deployed as the inclusion of thermal and solutal buoyancy enhances the velocity distribution, whereas reverse impact is observed for the increasing inertial drag. Highlights The study investigates the impact of cobalt ferrite (CF) concentration on the electrical, thermal, mechanical, magnetic, and electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding effectiveness (SE) of Epoxy/Graphene/Cobalt ferrite composite samples. This paper presents the novel impact of agglomeration formation using an increased CF concentration, which results in the  enhancement of electrical conductivity and slight decrease in EMI SE after 7% CF loading. The scanning electron micrograph provided a clear evidence for the formation of agglomeration with the increase of CF content. The amount of CF loading in Ep/Gr was varied steadily to achieve electrical percolation. The maximum tensile strength value of 21.6 MPa was observed for sample with 7% CF. The sample with 15% CF exhibited the maximum saturation magnetization of 7.5 emu/gm. TG‐DTA showed thermal degradation of all samples up to 800°C. The maximum shield effectiveness (SE), 16 dB was observed for sample with 7% CF in X band and 22 dB for sample with 10% CF in Ku band frequency range. The composites exhibited great absorption properties compared to reflection in both X band Ku band frequency range. These epoxy‐based composites are useful as cost effective EMI shielding material. Bast fiber-reinforced polymer composites (BFRPs) are grabbing considerable research attention due to their assertive impact on the environment and excellence in biodegradability. Though BFRPs have excellent ecological performance factors, they also lack in some cases, such as lower mechanical, electrical, and thermal properties, due to the significant moisture absorption, minimal thermal stability, and inherent nature of bast fibers. BFRPs exhibit weaker fiber/matrix interfacial adhesion as compared to synthetic fiber-reinforced polymer composites, resulting in lower mechanical properties. Nowadays, a wide variety of fiber and matrix modification techniques are practiced improving the fiber-matrix interaction, which ultimately improves the mechanical properties. Among the fiber and matrix modification techniques, nanofiller integration is the most promising one. This study reviews the impacts of introducing carbon-based nanofillers, particularly graphene and carbon nanotubes (CNT), in diversified BFRPs. The influence of carbon-based nanofillers on the mechanical, electrical, and thermal behavior of BFRPs and their potential prospects are comprehensively reviewed. Plastic is a revolutionary material. However, pollution caused by plastic damages the environment, human health, and economy of different countries. It is important to find the new methods for recycling and reusing plastic materials. In this present study, plastic waste coming from high‐density polyethylene (HDPE) cups (called HDPEr in the following) are used together with virgin cork for production of composite materials. Different fractions of virgin cork with HDPEr are tested and allow to obtain successfully composite materials. The properties of HDPEr and composite are compared. The morphology of elaborated composite is studied by scanning electron microscope (SEM). The thermal properties are investigated by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) analysis; the flammability study is performed using a cone calorimeter. Moreover, the mechanical properties of the samples stored under different conditions are studied by tensile strength experiments. The results show that the cork content has an effect on the mechanical and thermal properties. The feasibility of the composites based on cork and HDPEr wastes opens the way of reusing of these wastes. The work describes the preparation of bio‐based precursor carbon fibers (CFs) by a solvent‐free process. Fibers from lignin, cellulose acetate, and triacetin as plasticizer are successfully obtained by melt‐spinning showing a potential alternative to traditional precursor fibers from petroleum produced by wet‐spinning. Thermal, morphological, and structural properties of precursor fibers are studied. In particular, precursor fibers present glass transition temperatures lower than neat polymers, indicating the feasibility of using melt‐spinning due to an enhanced softening. Two stabilization thermal treatments with fast or slow heating are adopted to prepare the precursor fibers for carbonization. The CF yield achieves 32% for the materials at high lignin content. Context: Traditional conductive adhesives based on epoxy resin system often encounter problems such as high brittleness and low heat resistance. Therefore, it is particularly important to improve the thermal and mechanical properties of the conductive adhesive. In this study, the effects of SWCNT-Ag and SWCNT fillers on the thermal properties of DGEBA/DETA/Ag conductive adhesive system were studied by using molecular dynamics to construct different cross-linking models. The final results show that the addition of SWCNT and SWCNT-Ag can significantly improve the thermal properties of the conductive adhesive. However, the nanosilver particles on the surface of SWCNT-Ag act as a bridge for the connection between SWCNT and Ag in the conductive adhesive. Therefore, SWCNT-Ag has a more positive impact on the thermal properties of DGEBA/DETA/Ag conductive adhesive system. Methods: In this paper, the influence of SWCNT-Ag on the thermal properties of traditional DGEBA/DETA/Ag conductive adhesive system was studied by using Materials Studio software. The volume shrinkage, glass transition temperature, thermal expansion coefficient, and thermal conductivity of the material were calculated based on COMPASS force field. The thermal conductivity is calculated by using reverse non-equilibrium molecular dynamics method. This study aimed to investigate the potential of antimony-doped tin oxide (ATO) as a reinforcing agent for polyamide 12 (PA12) in 3D printing by examining four mixtures with varying ATO concentrations (2.0 to 8.0 wt.%, with a 2.0 wt.% interval). These mixtures were used to fabricate filaments for the manufacturing of specimens through the material extrusion method. The mechanical properties of the resulting PA12/ATO composites and PA12 pure samples were evaluated through tensile, Charpy impact, flexural, and microhardness tests. Additionally, rheology, structure, morphology, thermal properties, pore size, and consistency in the dimensions of the samples were evaluated. Thermogravimetric analysis, along with differential scanning calorimetry, scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersive and Raman spectroscopy, and micro-computed tomography, were conducted. The results were correlated and interpreted. The greatest reinforcement was achieved with the PA12/ATO 4.0 wt.% mixture, which exhibited a 19.3% increase in tensile strength and an 18.6% increase in flexural strength compared with pure PA12 (the control samples). The Charpy impact strength and microhardness were also improved by more than 10%. Hot air, water, and glycerol were studied as foaming mediums for the production of ETPU to evaluate their influence on the behavior of the foam and compare the optimal particles for each of the foaming temperatures selected. The results showed that the times of water foaming and glycerol foaming were shorter by about 2/3 than with hot-air foaming. The best foaming temperatures for hot-air foaming, glycerol foaming, and water foaming are 110–115 °C, 75 °C, and 90 °C, respectively. The particles of glycerol foam have a matte appearance and their gloss is not very good. However, the particles in hot-air foaming are light, and the gloss is very satisfactory. The gloss of the surface of water-foaming particles is dim. At the same time, there is a faint matte appearance. Particles made with glycerol foaming and water foaming are more even than those made with hot-air foaming. The density of foaming materials from glycerol foaming, hot-air foaming, and water foaming are raised accordingly, while the hardness of foaming materials from glycerol foaming, water foaming, and hot-air foaming are successively increased. Until recently, recycling thermoset polyurethanes (PUs) was limited to degrading methods. The development of covalent adaptable networks (CANs), to which PUs can be assigned, has opened novel possibilities for actual recycling. Most efforts in this area have been directed toward inventing new materials that can benefit from CAN theory; presently, little or nothing has been applied to industrially producible materials. In this study, both an industrially available polyol (Sovermol780®) and isocyanate (Tolonate X FLO 100®) with percentages of bioderived components were employed, resulting in a potentially scalable and industrially producible material. The resultant network could be reworked up to three times, maintaining the crosslinked structure without significantly changing the thermal properties. Improvements in mechanical parameters were observed when comparing the pristine material to the material exposed to three rework processes, with gains of roughly 50% in elongation at break and 20% in tensile strength despite a 25% decrease in Young's modulus and crosslink density. Thus, it was demonstrated that theory may be profitably applied even to materials that are not designed including additional bonds but instead rely just on the dynamic urethane bond that is naturally present in the network. This study explores the synthesis and performance of novel copolyesters containing 2,3-butanediol (2,3-BDO) as a biobased secondary diol. This presents an opportunity for improving their thermal properties and reducing crystallinity, while also being more sustainable. It is, however, a challenge to synthesize copolyesters of sufficient molecular weight that also have high 2,3-BDO content, due to the reduced reactivity of secondary diols compared to primary diols. Terephthalate-based polyesters were synthesized in combination with different ratios of 2,3-BDO and ethylene glycol (EG). With a 2,3-BDO to EG ratio of 28:72, an Mn of 31.5 kDa was reached with a Tg of 88 °C. The Mn dropped with increasing 2,3-BDO content to 18.1 kDa for a 2,3-BDO to EG ratio of 78:22 (Tg = 104 °C) and further to 9.8 kDa (Tg = 104 °C) for the homopolyester of 2,3-BDO and terephthalate. The water and oxygen permeability both increased significantly with increasing 2,3-BDO content and even the lowest content of 2,3-BDO (28% of total diol) performed significantly worse than PET. The incorporation of 2,3-BDO had little effect on the tensile properties of the polyesters, which were similar to PET. The results suggest that 2,3-BDO can be potentially applied for polyesters requiring higher Tg and lower crystallinity than existing materials (mainly PET). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Polylactic acid (PLA) composite serve as widely used filaments in fused deposition modeling (FDM) 3D printing. This study investigates the enhancement of PLA composite's comprehensive mechanical properties and thermal stability through the incorporation of carbon fiber (CF). The influence of FDM process parameters on the mechanical properties of PLA composite is also analyzed. Results show that adding 5 wt.% CF significantly enhances the stiffness and comprehensive mechanical properties of PLA composite. The order of printing factors affecting the tensile strength of the PLA composite product is as follows: printing layer thickness, bottom plate temperature, printing speed, and nozzle temperature. Finally, optimal tensile strength is achieved under specific conditions: 0.1 mm layer thickness, 60 °C bottom plate temperature, 40 mm/s printing speed, and 215 °C nozzle temperature. In this study, the effect of boric acid (H3BO3) on fiber-reinforced layered composites was investigated. Glass fiber-reinforced epoxy composites were used, and the effects of boric acid on thermal and mechanical properties were investigated. For this purpose, composite plates were manufactured by adding boric acid (BA) to the epoxy in different ratios (0, 0.5, 1, and 1.5% by weight). Tensile tests, compression tests, and shear tests were performed to determine the mechanical properties of these plates, and DSC, TGA, and DMA analyses were performed to determine their thermal properties. SEM and EDS analyses were performed on the specimens to examine their morphologies. Furthermore, examinations were conducted on how BA affected the specimens' failure behavior. In the study, it was found that, except for the compressive strength, the mechanical properties were improved by the added BA. The highest tensile strength, shear strength, modulus of elasticity, shear modulus, and Poisson's ratio were obtained from 0.5% BA-added specimens and were 24.78%, 8.75%, 25.13%, 11.24%, and 12.5% higher than the values obtained from 0% BA-added specimens, respectively. The highest loss and storage modulus were obtained from 0% and 0.5% BA-added specimens, respectively. The specimens' glass transition temperatures were decreased by the addition of BA; the specimen with a 1% addition of BA had the lowest value. The comprehensive performance of rubber products could be significantly improved by the addition of functional fillers. To improve research efficiency and decrease the experimental cost, the mechanical and thermal properties of carbon-fiber-reinforced rubber were investigated using finite element simulations and theoretical modeling. The simplified micromechanical model was constructed through the repeatable unit cell with periodic boundary conditions, and the corresponding theoretical models were built based on the rule of mixture (ROM), which can be treated as the mutual verification. The simulation results suggest that, in addition to the fiber volume fraction Vfc increasing from 10% to 70%, the longitudinal Young's modulus, transversal Young's modulus, in-plane shear modulus, longitudinal thermal expansion coefficient, and transversal thermal expansion coefficient changed from 2.31 × 1010 Pa to 16.09 × 1010 Pa, from 0.54 × 107 Pa to 2.59 × 107 Pa, from 1.66 × 106 Pa to 10.11 × 106 Pa, from −4.98 × 10−7 K−1 to −5.89 × 10−7 K−1, and from 5.72 × 10−4 K−1 to 1.66 × 10−4 K−1, respectively. The mechanism by which Vfc influences the properties of carbon-fiber-reinforced rubber was revealed through the distribution of Von Mises stress. The incorporation and application of SAGD rapid preheating technology effectively solve the problem of the long preheating cycle in the SAGD steam cycle. The thermal properties of reservoir rocks are an important factor affecting the heat transfer law governing their formation during the rapid preheating process of SAGD. During the rapid preheating process of SAGD, the expansion of the reservoir and the steam cycle process will cause changes in the pore permeability, oil-water saturation, and temperature of the reservoir rocks, which will inevitably lead to differences in the changes that occur in the thermal properties of the reservoir rocks, compared to those under the influence of a single factor. In this study, experiments were conducted to determine the thermal properties of reservoir rocks under the combined influence of pore permeability, oil-water saturation, and temperature, quantitatively characterizing the changes in the thermal properties of reservoir rocks. Using the orthogonal method to design and carry out experiments for determining the thermal properties of reservoir rocks, the main factors affecting the thermal properties of reservoir rocks and the significance of each factor's impact on the thermal properties of reservoir rocks were determined through intuitive analysis and variance analysis of the experimental results. Finally, a regression equation that can characterize changes in the thermal properties of reservoir rocks under the influence of multiple factors was obtained through multiple nonlinear regressions of the experimental results.
