The purpose of the study is to determine the influence of the problem-based learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade VII students on statistical materials. The research method used in this study is Pre-Experimental Design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design model. The research was carried out by direct observation in the classroom by giving a pretest at the beginning of learning to 30 grade VII students and giving a posttest at the end of learning. To find out the difference in student learning outcomes, the researcher used a problem-based learning model. At the beginning of learning, the average score from the pretest was 59.80. After the application of the problem-based learning model and given a posttest, the average score on the posttest was 77.03. The data collection methods used were tests, documentation, and observation. Meanwhile, to analyze the data using the pretest and posttest statistical description test, normality test and Paired sample T-Test using SPSS. Test the normality of the data to find out if the data is normally distributed. It is known from the normality test, the significance value in the pretest value is 0.200 and the significance value in the posttest score is 0.069 greater than 0.05 which shows that the residual value states that the data is normally distributed. Meanwhile, the paired sample t-test value with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, meaning that the paired sample t-test value is less than 0.05 or 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a difference in the mathematics learning outcomes of grade VII students in the statistics material at SMP Mutiara Islami Plus before and after the implementation of the problem-based learning model. - Abstract
One of the many abilities needed by students in the 21st century is problem-solving skills, especially in the teaching and learning process of mathematics. As for STEAM, which is an approach that connects the concepts of insight, technology, engineering, art and mathematics, so that students gain insight based on the learning process experienced, this learning process is a learning process when students experience learning directly so that they gain experience in their surroundings. The approach used in this learning is that students can show by explaining critically, techniques to math. Teaching various problems for math exercises with various methods that do not motivate students to participate in learning and still use the lecture method where only the teacher is active without involving students causing students to be passive and resulting in monotonous learning. The research was conducted at MI Hidayatul Husna Krasak. This research has the aim of making STEAM effective as a learning method that can affect student learning outcomes in mathematics lessons with space building material in elementary school. - Abstract
Mathematics is still considered a difficult subject. This also happens at SDIT Al-Ishlah Sudimampir, which causes attention to activeness and problem solving skills on data processing material that is not yet optimal. This study aims to improve the activeness and problem solving skills of fifth grade students on data processing material through the application of multimedia-based SAVI models. The method used was classroom action research with a sample of fifth grade students of SDIT Al-Ishlah Sudimampir Balongan Indramayu, consisting of 23 students. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and tests. The results showed that students' activeness and problem solving skills increased through the application of multimedia-based SAVI models in each cycle. In cycle I, the increase in student activeness reached 75%, in cycle II it was 83%, and in cycle III it was 90%. Student learning activeness increased from 74.57% in cycle I, to 81.68% in cycle II, and 88.97% in cycle III. The percentage of students' problem solving ability completeness increased from 52% in cycle I, to 74% in cycle II, and 87% in cycle III. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
This research aims to explore the use of Math Centers as a enjoyable learning environment to address mathematics anxiety and improve engagement in 1st-grade students at XYZ Elementary School. Mathematics plays a crucial role in the elementary education curriculum, contributing significantly to the development of logical understanding and problem-solving skills for students. However, the high level of mathematics anxiety and low student engagement pose challenges in the early learning process. This qualitative research involved one 1st-grade class with 20 students as the research subjects. Data were collected through classroom observations, test results, and interviews with both teachers and students. The findings indicate that 1st-grade students participating in Math Centers exhibit low mathematics anxiety and active engagement in the classroom. Students also tend to enjoy mathematics lessons in the Math Centers setting compared to regular classes. The varied activities provided in Math Centers make mathematics no longer perceived as a dull and intimidating subject. The implementation of Math Centers at XYZ Elementary School will be carried out regularly every Friday to sustain students' interest in mathematics, reduce anxiety, and motivate them to actively participate in the learning process. This research aims to develop a mathematical model for estimating the milling degree of milled rice based on fluorescent imaging. The materials used were the Ciherang, IR64 and Mekongga varieties which are widely grown and consumed by Indonesian people. The experiment was conducted by varying the polishing time starting from 0 seconds to 34 seconds with 1 second intervals. Six grains of polished rice were taken to record their images using a camera with 365 nm UV fluorescent ring light. The data collected in this research were milling degree obtained by gravimetric method, milling degree obtained using a milling meter and color values of fluorescent images of milled rice by image processing. The results showed that prediction of milling degree using the RGB color model has the coefficient of determination between 0.8001 - 0.8652, which is considered as potential to be used as a model for estimating the degree of milled rice based on fluorescence images. The RGB color model shows that the image red signal has the highest coefficient of determination compared to green and blue signals. For all of the three varieties in this study, the Ciherang variety has a predictive model equation for the image red signal y = 3.9027x - 429.61, the IR64 variety has a predictive model equation for the image red signal y = 3.7344x - 415.01, and the Mekongga variety has a predictive model equation for the image red signal y = 3.5627x - 388.86. - Abstract
Problem solving, collaboration and social skills are crucial skills for the 21st century. In the context of a second grade class at XYZ Elementary School in West Jakarta, it was found that many students had difficulty in solving math problems independently. The post- Covid-19 pandemic conditions also added to the complexity with the lack of collaboration skills seen when students worked in groups in the classroom. Lack of social awareness, as part of social skills, can be one of the main causes of difficulties in collaboration. This research is a Special Action Research (PTK) which aims to observe the improvement of mathematical problem solving skills, collaboration, and social awareness through the application of the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) learning method in second grade students of XYZ Elementary School, West Jakarta. Data collection methods used include observation, interviews, student reflections, and math tests to measure the development of math problem solving skills. The results showed that through three research cycles, the TPS learning method succeeded in improving students' math problem solving skills, collaboration, and social awareness with a moderate success rate. The implications of this study highlight the importance of learning methods that focus on collaboration and social interaction in improving the skills needed in the 21st century, as well as the teacher's role in guiding students' math problem solving skills. This research aims to determine the use of the Quizizz application as a mathematics learning medium in elementary schools and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in the use of the Quizizz application as a learning medium in the Karawang Islamic Elementary School. This research was conducted on elementary school students with 3 class teachers, 3 class 1A students, 3 class 1B students and 3 class 1C students as participants. The research method used uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach using interview, observation and documentation data collection techniques. However, based on data obtained from interviews, the Quizzizz application can help educators and students carry out teaching and learning activities in a more interesting and interactive manner, although there are supporting and inhibiting factors in using the Quizzizz application, learning continues according to the plan that has been prepared in RPP using Quizizz media. - Abstract
This study aims to analyze the difference between numeracy, critical thinking and communication skills in classes that apply OK-LCD with classes that apply the lecture method. The subjects of the study were grade I elementary school students in Bekasi totaling 28 people for the control class and 27 people for the experimental class. The study period was conducted for four weeks starting October 2 to October 20, 2023. This study used a weak experimental design method with a static-group pretest-posttest design model. Research data are obtained through written tests and rubrics that have been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the analysis and statistical tests showed the difference in control class pretest scores with control class post test, experimental class pretest scores with experimental class post test, and control class nGain with experimental class nGain on numeracy skills, critical thinking rubrics, and student communication rubrics. The data were expressed in the average nGain in the experimental class for numeracy, critical thinking and communication skills with consecutive scores of 0.56; 0,57; and 0.66. On average nGain in the control class for numeracy, critical thinking, and communication skills with consecutive scores of 0.40; 0,42; and 0.59. Background: Improving the quality of education has a target on developing human resources in preparing themselves to face changes and developments in aspects of life in the future. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of student perceptions, interest in learning and the learning environment at school on mathematics learning outcomes at SMAN 17 Tangerang Regency. Method: The problems raised by researchers are student perceptions, interest in learning and the learning environment at school and the results of learning mathematics. By using ex post facto with a quantitative descriptive approach, the population in this study were students of class X IPS SMAN 17 Tangerang Regency, totaling 289 students. The sampling technique was by probability random sampling so that 134 students were obtained as the research sample. Primary data obtained from questionnaires on student perceptions, interest in learning and the learning environment at school as well as secondary data in the form of odd semester student report cards for the 2022/2023 academic year were processed using the multiple linear regression analysis method with the t-test and F-test using the SPSS version 25 tool . Results: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa, minat belajar dan lingkungan belajar di sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika di SMAN 17 Kabupaten Tangerang. Conclusion: Based on the results of the analysis of hypothesis testing and the discussion that has been carried out previously, the resulting conclusion is that the relationship between students' perceptions and the results of learning mathematics in class X IPS SMAN 17 Tangerang Regency for the 2022/2023 Academic Year is positive, which means that the effect is significant and the contribution is real. Based on the frequency distribution table of 81.34%, it is in the high category, seen from various indicators that can influence students' perceptions of mathematics, such as: understanding of the definition of mathematics, understanding of the benefits and uses of mathematics and students' attention to mathematics. This study aims to determine the level of effectiveness and validity of teaching materials based on Realistic Mathematical Education (RME) on the learning motivation of fifth grade students in an elementary school in the city of Medan. This study aims to determine the effect of the Realistic Mathematical Education (RME) Approach on mathematics learning outcomes in terms of students' motivation to learn mathematics. The type of research is research. The research method used is the 4D model including: Define/analyze (2) design, (3) development. The research subjects were fifth grade students of SD in Medan. The practicality of teaching materials is seen from clear content and objectives, easy to read, attractive appearance and can increase the attractiveness/interest of students to learn. The validity and effectiveness of teaching materials can be seen from the increased learning outcomes of students with a mastery level of 96%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that speed teaching materials using a realistic mathematics education (RME) approach can be developed for fifth grade elementary school students to be declared valid, practical and effective. - Abstract
This study aims to prove the presence or absence of the Dragon Ball Learning Model on the cognitive learning outcomes of grade VII mathematics on flat building material in MTs Miftahul Huda Bogorejo Sedan Rembang for the 2021/2022 academic year. This type of research is quantitative using post-test only control groups. As for the formulation of the problem in this study, which is better between the Dragon Ball learning model and direct learning of the cognitive learning outcomes of grade VII Mathematics on Flat Build at MTs Miftahul Huda, Bogorejo, Sedan Rembang, Academic Year 2021/2022. The data collection method uses a multiple-choice question test of 10 points. The data collection obtained, the calculation results obtained the average value of the experimental class was 73.18 while the average value of the control class was 41.82. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the result of the sig value was 0.05, then H_0 rejected and H_1 accepted. So it can be concluded that the learning carried out using the Dragon Ball learning model results are higher than using the direct learning model, which means that the Dragon Ball learning model is better than the direct learning model. This research aims to improve Learning Outcomes through the Jigsaw Learning Model. The benefit of the research that the author formulated in this study is that students are able to understand the material of Integer Mixed Calculation Operations through the Jigsaw Learning Model.Based on the Learning model used, it was concluded that the results of learning evaluation have increased. This can be seen from the comparison of learning evaluation results between precycle, cycle I, and cycle II. In the precycle there were only 6 people (20%) out of 30 students who obtained scores above KKM (65), in the first cycle there were 17 people (56.7%) out of 30 students who obtained scores above KKM, and in the second cycle there were 29 people (96.66%) from 30 students who obtained scores above KKM with a grade point average of 83.66. Therefore, from these results, it can be concluded that the Jigsaw Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes in Mathematics lessons on Integer Mixed Calculation Operations material in grade V SDN Sirnagalih 03, Tamansari District, Bogor Regency. Based on data from PISA, it shows that students' mathematical abilities in Indonesia are still relatively low. Therefore, improving students' mathematical reasoning abilities is a way in order to cope with those problems. This research aims to analyze research related to the mathematical reasoning abilities of elementary school students in 2018-2022, considering that a literature review on this topic has never been carried out. The type of this research is a systematic literature review. Data was collected by documenting 20 selected articles in Sinta 1-6 journals and Scopus. The results of this research revealed that topics related to mathematical reasoning abilities in elementary schools have not been widely researched in the last five years. The majority of articles discuss the characteristics and the analysis of students' reasoning abilities mapping in a group. The most widely published Sinta 3 and Scopus articles with the most researched material are geometry. The frequent type of research carried out is quantitative. Suggestions for future research are to conduct further research related to the development of mathematical reasoning abilities in elementary schools, especially on fractions and algebra material. 15. PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA BERBASIS SMARTPHONE.

Background: This smartphone-based mathematics learning media contains material on the Linear Equation System of Two Variables. Purpose: This study aims to develop media that can help teachers carry out learning. Method: This research was conducted through five stages as follows: (1) Assume, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, (5) Evaluation. The judgment made to media experts gets a percentage of 88.0%. Assessments made by learning experts get a percentage of 80.83%. Assessments made by material experts get a percentage of 73.5%. The practicality of this learning media was obtained from the results of a small group trial questionnaire which received a percentage of 73.8%. Practicality in the large group trial scored a percentage of 88.08%. Result: The results showed that green perceived value has a positive and significant effect on green trust. Meanwhile, environmental concern has no significant effect on green trust. The results of the study also show that green trust has a positive and significant effect on green purchase intention. Resuts: The results of the effectiveness of this learning media were taken from the test questions carried out in small group trials to get a percentage of 61.3%. The results of the test questions obtained from the large group trials obtained a percentage of 85.75%. This learning media research has met the eligibility criteria, practicality and effectiveness. This learning media still needs to be further developed to get better media to be used in learning. Concusion: The conclusion is that the development of quality smartphone-based mathematics learning media for use in learning uses several criteria. to assess. Evaluation of the feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of the media is carried out by lecturers and teachers as well as small group trials and large group trials which are applied to students. This study aims to determine the quality of the Instrument of Mathematics Learning Outcomes Class V Primary Schools used by educators seen from the level of validity, level of reliability, level of truth, and the level of power distinguishing questions. This research was conducted at SDN Moro in the even semester of the academic year 2021/2022. The population of this study was all 96 students. The sampling technique in this study is to use purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study was 21 SDN Moro SDN students. This study uses quantitative methods. Data collection techniques in this study are tests. Data Analysis Researchers use quantitative descriptive analysis with a percentage. Based on the results of the analysis of the level of validity, reliability, difficulty level, and distinguishing power it can be seen that the quality of the test instrument as a whole is good questions and stored in question banks, namely 5 questions or 17%, revised and used 11 questions or 37% and discarded 14 questions or 46%. Technological developments have caused several significant changes in the world of education. One of them is as a learning media. Currently students at every level of education are familiar with the use of gadgets as learning media. Through technology, it is easier for them to access every material so that it is easier to learn it. As a result, learning media applications that can be used in students' mobile devices to facilitate their activities are increasingly being loved lately. However, applications with various features and advantages will certainly leave application vulnerabilities and other errors. Therefore, this study aims to determine the readiness of the application when used in bulk and minimize errors that occur to maintain the integrity of the application so that it can be used properly by users using the regression testing method. In this research, the application used is an android-based mathematics learning application for junior high school students. Results, helping students in learning Mathematics. In conclusion, that the black box method with this regression technique makes it easier for the tester to align the function flow with the expected results and can see the results in each process. Mathematics is a language that symbolizes a series of meanings from the statements that we want to convey. The reality on the ground illustrates that during the learning process, most of the students are less active, they will be active when given assignments, do not pay attention to the teacher's explanation, many students do not finish working on the questions in the allotted time. Students also seem unmotivated in mathematics. Is the application of the TPS type cooperative learning model able to improve mathematics learning achievement in circle material in class VIII-2 UPT SMP Negeri 1 Alla?. This study aims to improve the mathematics learning achievement of grade VIII-2 UPT SMP Negeri 1 Alla students in the circle material through the application of the TPS type cooperative learning model. TPS learning can develop the ability to express ideas or ideas verbally and compare them with other people's ideas. Students can develop the ability to test their own ideas and understanding and receive feedback. The interactions that occur during learning can increase motivation and provide stimulation to think so that it is beneficial for the long-term educational process. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The data analysis technique used to analyze the collected data is a comparative descriptive technique, which is to compare success between cycles. To improve the success of education, innovation is needed in the learning process, so educators are required to be very creative so that learning can be carried out more effectively and efficiently. Education provided at the elementary school level is very important because at elementary school age there is an understanding of the basic mathematical concepts that students need to know to prepare for the next level of education. The use of appropriate learning models can increase student motivation and learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of instructional media on mathematics learning outcomes for elementary school students. The methodology used in this study is a systematic literature review (SLR) by identifying, reviewing, evaluating and interpreting all existing research. With this approach, the researcher reviews and identifies articles in a structured manner, following the steps set out in each process. The results of the analysis of this study indicate that the learning model is very influential in the understanding of students as well as for elementary school students who still need concrete learning. One of the learning models that can be applied is a problem-based learning model because this model gives students the opportunity to formulate problems and create hypotheses on the problems presented. The purpose of this study is In general, the purpose of this study is to describe the learning process of building space using the RME (Realistic Mathematic Education) Method Based on a Scientific Approach. This study used classroom action research (PTK). In ptk, the research stage consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observation and reflection. In this study used two cycles. Data collection techniques in this study used observations, field notes, interviews, tests, and documentation. Observation is used to observe students towards learning using the RME (Realistic Mathematic Education) Method Based on a Scientific Approach. The results showed that the application of the RME (Realistic Mathematic Education) Method Based on a Scientific Approach can increase the activeness and learning outcomes of Mathematics. GeoGebra learning is learning that uses the Geogebra program to study mathematics, especially geometry, algebra and calculus. The purpose of this study was to increase motivation and spatial reasoning of seventh grade students of SMPN 3 Belitang Hilir by using the Geogebra program in spatial geometry learning. Spatial reasoning in this study consists of 7 aspects studied, namely (1) "Able to" imagine "position" an "object" geometry" after the "object" geometry "it undergoes rotation, reflection or dilation (Object Transformation); (2) Be able to compare the logical relationships of the elements of a spatial structure (Elements of Build); (3) Able to accurately predict the shape of an object viewed from a "certain" point of view (Point of View); " (4) Able to determine the suitable object at a certain position from a series of geometrical objects (Object Position); (5) Able to construct a model related to an object of spatial geometry (Model Construction); (6) Able to represent geometric models depicted on a flat plane (Model Representation); (7) Able to "find" simple objects embedded in more complex images (Find Objects). "The approach used in this study is one group pretest-posttest. "The mean pretest score is 19.9 from the ideal score of 54" and the standard deviation is 11.93 with a minimum score of 9 and a maximum value of 48. From "learning before" using "visual aids" and "after using teaching aids, it can be seen there is a significant increase in students who are "able" in spatial "reasoning" from 12% to 52% or an increase of 40%. Meanwhile, from learning before using teaching aids and after using teaching aids, it can be seen that there is a significant increase in motivated students, namely from 10 people or 35% to 78% or an increase of 43%. The average posttest score of students is 46.5 out of an ideal score of 54 and a standard deviation of 13.97 with a minimum score of 18 and a maximum score of 54. Learning by using GeoGebra media students can easily draw geometric shapes through the interface in the GeoGebra program (algebra view). view geometry and input view). In the input view students are able to compose mathematical sentences to draw geometric shapes, so that using GeoGebra media can increase students' motivation and spatial reasoning. This study uses a quantitative research approach using a posttest-only control group design treatment model. The population is the students of chase Package B who are fostered by PPLS and SKB Barru Regency. Determination of the sample using the purposive sampling technique. The determination of the studied group was taken from the sample members using a simple random sampling technique. Data was collected using the Package B class II mathematics learning outcomes test and the measurement data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis techniques, namely one-way anavar and scheffe advanced test. The results showed that: (1) the learning outcomes of Package B class II mathematics for groups of students who were taught using the module and those taught using the lecture method were in moderate qualifications. The results of learning mathematics in Package B class II for groups of students taught using conventional methods are in low qualifications and (2) there are differences in learning outcomes for Mathematics in Package B class II between groups of students taught using modules, lecture methods, and conventional methods. In the learning process to develop students' creativity, critical thinking skills are one of the important things, because with critical thinking students will use the potential of their minds to the fullest to solve a problem they face in everyday life. This type of research is a type of classroom action research conducted by the teacher as an effort to solve problems and improve the quality of learning in the classroom. The reason for using this type of research is because there are still many student scores that have not reached the limit of completeness so that researchers want to try to apply the Example Non Example learning model in this classroom action research. This research was carried out using an instrument of observing the activities of students in groups, and the test as an instrument that has been validated by the validator to determine learning outcomes using the Example Non Example learning model for students of class XII IPS 3 at SMA Negeri 1 Singkep. This activity was carried out in two cycles with five meetings, where there were two meetings in the first cycle and three meetings in the second cycle. The students' learning activities in the first cycle were presented classically reaching 79% and in the second cycle 87%, which means that in the implementation of the application of this model the results were good, an increase of 8%. As for the results of group assignments in working on the questions, all of them reached the KKM, which was 75 both in cycle I and cycle II. The classical average of the first cycle group was 83 and the second cycle was 89 increased. While the learning outcomes of students who completed the first cycle were 18 people with a percentage of 64%, while the second cycle students who completed were 25 people with a percentage of 89%, so the increase reached 25%. The online learning system is conducted to reduce the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak. This study aims to find out the application of the learning strategy that is REACT strategy with the help of learning media that is augmented reality application in flat face three dimensional objects. This study uses an experimental method with research design, namely pretest-posttest control group design conducted during the online learning process. The subject of the study was a grade VIII student at SMP Satu Atap Pejukutan, Regency of Klungkung. The use of multiple-choice questions is used to determine student learning outcomes. The results of the students' study were then tested with an ANOVA test and obtained a significance score of 0.02 which is smaller than 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a difference. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of REACT strategies assisted by augmented reality applications to build space in mathematics learning can improve students' learning outcomes. Education is defined as a conscious and planned activity through a learning process that can help develop individual potential. Self-potential includes spiritual strength, intelligence, noble character, self-control, personality, and skills needed for individuals and society. XYX School has a school vision that is respect and critical thinking, but this has not been reflected in students. The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of the Problem Based Learning model in improving mastery of mathematics concepts, critical thinking skills and respectful attitudes of 3rd grade students at XYZ school. The research method used is classroom action research. The research instruments used were written tests to measure mastery of mathematical concepts and observation rubrics to measure critical thinking skills. The results showed that there was an increase in the mastery of mathematical concepts of students by 30%. An increase in critical thinking skills was also obtained with an N-gain value of 0.50 during the study. The increase in respectful attitude can be seen from the N-gain value obtained of 0.41 during the study. It can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning model can improve concept mastery, critical thinking skills and respectful attitude in mathematics lessons for grade 3 students of XYZ school. Balinese Gamelan is a popular traditional musical instrument that is admired by international residents due to its fast musical rhythms. In this study, the focus will be on one object of the Balinese gamelan musical instrument, namely the gangsa. The purpose of this study was to find out the mathematical concepts found in Balinese gamelan instruments, especially the gangsa. This type of research is qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The subject of this research is the head of Tabuh UKM STANA, a student activity unit engaged in the arts at Mahasaraswati University Denpasar. Literature review, observation, interviews, and documentation were used to collect data, which was then analyzed and identified mathematical concepts contained in the gangsa musical instrument so that conclusions could be drawn. Based on the research results obtained through observation and interviews, it can be seen that the size and playing of the gangsa musical instrument have a mathematical concept. The mathematical concepts that we find in the gangsa musical instrument are the concepts of arithmetic sequence patterns and repeating patterns. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between bronze musical instruments and mathematics learning so that this can be used as an alternative medium for learning mathematics. Doctoral programs in the fine arts, instead of coming up with their own ways of doing things, tend to adopt standards from the humanities, which themselves tend to adopt standards from science. Because of being preoccupied with trying to look like other disciplines, artistic thinking within artistic doctorates gets suppressed. But if we look into science directly and not through this second-hand approach, we can find aspects of scientific thinking that are closer to art than to the humanities. In this paper, I give examples of artistic thinking in the work of various scientists and mathematicians: a non-fiction book that uses fiction (Douglas Hofstadter's book Gödel, Escher, Bach), a linguistic analysis that concludes with a story (Livia Polanyi's book Telling the American Story), scientific lectures with unusual formal aspects (Roger Penrose's "VJing" of multiple layers of foils through an overhead projector, David Deutsch's Lectures on Quantum Computation), and a collective hiding behind a fictional mathematician (Nicolas Bourbaki). This study aims to describe the ability of students in mathematical literacy by reviewing the cognitive style. The type of research used in this study is research with descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects were taken from 27 students of SMK class XI TKJ in one of the schools located in Bagor District, Nganjuk Regency. The instruments used in this study were GEFT (Group Embedded Figure Test) to determine the cognitive style ability of students who would be divided into field dependent and field independent cognitive style groups, mathematical literacy tests, and interviews. Mathematical literacy test questions are prepared and adapted to everyday life problems that are fully based on indicators of mathematical literacy skills adapted and aligned with the stages of problem solving. The results showed that field dependent subjects tended to formulate problems still using narrative sentences, subjects were also less able to determine their own problem solving because they still depended on the procedures that had been given, and were only able to provide a brief interpretation of the final results of the solution. While field independent subjects are able to formulate problems by using modeling, subjects are also able to determine and write down their own problem solving in an organized manner, and are able to show corrections to the final results of problem solving. This research aims to identify student errors in working on System of Three Variable Linear Equations (SPLTV) questions in class X SMA PGRI Wamena. The type and approach in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques in this research are tests, observations and interviews. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the most common type of error made by class and errors in understanding story questions were found with the same number of 7 (seven) errors and were in the "low" category. Students misunderstand concepts in translating story questions into linear equations, often being confused in understanding mathematical symbols, thus causing calculation errors and ending in incorrect and incomplete final answers. This is due to students' mathematics learning habits which are more about memorizing and value oriented so that they lack understanding of concepts, procedures and in understanding story problems in SPLTV material. This research is motivated by technological advances in the 21st century which have a significant impact in various fields, one of which is education, especially on the learning process. The learning process requires adjustments to current technological developments so that education remains relevant and effective in preparing the competencies of the current generation in facing the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0, one of which is the learning media used. This will affect students' learning motivation at school. This research aims to analyze the use of mathematics learning media on equivalent fraction material in class IV elementary schools. The research method applied is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation studies. Based on the research results show that the learning media used in mathematics learning about equal fractions in class IV elementary school is still conventional. This causes interactions to be dominated by the teacher, or learning is still one-way from teacher to student. Teachers hope that they can develop more innovative learning media and utilize information technology in accordance with the needs and developments of the 21st century. The lack of comprehension of students' mathematical ideas spurred this study's application of a learning strategy that can enhance that knowledge, namely Matematika GASING (Gampang, Asyik, dan Menyenangkan) learning. This study aims to investigate the description of increasing the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students who learn to use Matematika GASING learning. The method used is the descriptive quantitative research method. The subjects used were five students from different schools: two students from SMP Negeri 2 Pagedangan, two students from SMP Negeri 3 Ambon, and a student from SMP Negeri 8 South Tangerang. These subjects were given the treatment of online Matematika GASING learning. The instrument used in this study was a test for understanding mathematical concepts given through a pretest and post-test. The research data obtained were then calculated and described to conclude. The results of this study indicate that there is no increase in the ability to understand mathematical concepts by learning Matematika GASING online. One of the problems that often occurs in learning mathematics is the ability to solve problems on certain subjects. This research has the objective of analyzing students' mathematical problem-solving abilities regarding algebraic material. In research, of course, using research methods, researchers decide to use qualitative descriptive methods. The study was carried out in an odd semester at SMP Negeri 1 Rawamerta in the 2022/2023 school year class VIII J. The population in this study was all class VIII J students of SMP Negeri 1 Rawamerta with a sample used of 15 students. The instrument in the research is a question in the form of a test on the ability to solve mathematical problems by means of data collection techniques. According to the results of the analysis that has been carried out, an average score was obtained from the mathematical problem solving ability of class VIII J students at SMP Negeri 1 Rawamerta on solving algebraic material problems, that is 32.25%. - Abstract
Mathematics is connected to culture. Culture can be linked to the lives of local people, whether in the form of objects characteristic of the area or activities that have been passed down from generation to generation. In everyday life, many cultures can be connected with mathematical material, so mathematics and culture are two things that are closely related. Mathematics in culture is called Ethnomathematics. One of the ethnomathematics objects is the Nias tribe's nafo keleomo ball motif in the form of a historic betel bag which is a typical heritage of the area. The aim of this exploratory research using an ethnographic approach is to explore and explore the mathematical concept of flat shapes contained in the Nafo Keleomo ball motif of the Nias tribe which can be used as a medium for learning mathematics and as an effort to develop ethnomathematics into a basis for mathematics learning. Through exploration, documentation, literature study and observation of the keleomo nafo ball motif of the Nias tribe, it can be concluded that in the nafo ball motif there is a concept of rectangular and triangular shapes. - Abstract
Jarimatics is a simple and fun way of teaching children basic computation according to the principle: start by correctly understanding first the concepts of numbers, number symbols, and basic counting operations, then teaching how to count with the fingers of the hand. The low ability and desire of students in counting on mathematical subjects makes the method of JARIMATIKA suitable introduced to students SDN 02 Pasar Keong as a solution in completion of mathematics as well as improving the ability to count on Operation KABATAKU. The method of implementation performed by the Community Devotion Team is divided into 3 sessions namely: 1) delivery of material about jarimatika method and Operation count using such method, 2) ice breaking in order to arouse the spirit of students during the activity, 3) Applying the material that has been given with the use of staircase snake tools. Thus the student's ability to calculate improved and better than before taught the Jarimatic Method and the student considered counting a pleasant thing. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
This research aims to find out: (1) Significant influence between eliciting activities and PBL model on student's mathematical problem solving abilities. (2) Interaction between early mathematics ability and learning model on students mathematical problem solving abilities. (3) Significant influence between eliciting activities and PBL model on students self confidence (4) Interaction between early mathematic ability and learning model on students self confidence. This research is quasi experimental research by using two classes namely experimental class with eliciting activities learning model and experimental class with problem based learning model. The data in this research were analyzed by using inferential analysis. Inferential data analysis performed by ANACOVA. Research results show that: (1) There is a significant effect between the eliciting activities model and the PBL model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities in which the model's significanse number 0,003 < α = 0,05. (2) There is an interaction between the initial ability of mathematics and the learning model on the students mathematical problem solving ability with a significanse number of the corrected model 0,000 < α = 0,05. (3) There is a signigicant effect between the eliciting activities model and the PBL model on students self confidence with the model's significanse number 0,022 < α = 0,05. (4) There is an interaction between students early mathematics ability learning model on students self confidence with a significanse number of the eorrected model 0,009 < α = 0,05. Budapesten született, 1949. március 25-én. Általános és középiskoláit szülővárosában végezte, 1973-ban a Marx Károly Közgazdaságtudományi Egyetem (ma Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem) terv-matematika szakán közgazdasági diplomát, majd 2006-ban a Budapesti Műszaki és Gazdálkodástudományi Egyetemen PhD-fokozatot szerzett. Dolgozott az Országos Tervhivatalban, a KSH-ban, majd 1989-től a magánszektorban, kontrollingvezetőként tevékenykedett több nagyvállalatnál, 2005 és 2019 között pedig a Budapesti Corvinus Egyetemen kontrolling, vezetői számvitel, vállalatgazdaságtan és tudásmenedzsment tantárgyakat oktatott. 2006-tól tanácsadó céget alapított vállalatirányítás, kontrolling, valamint tudásmenedzsment téren. Azóta vállalatok, intézmények, közigazgatási szervek részére végez tanácsadói tevékenységet. Folyamatosan publikál mikro-és makrogazdasági témákban, több tankönyv és gazdasági folyamatokat bemutató könyv szerzője, gazdasági témákkal foglalkozó konferenciák résztvevője, előadója. This study aims to analyze students' numeracy literacy skills in solving PISA-oriented SPLTV questions with change and relationship content in terms of self-regulated learning. The method used is descriptive method with qualitative research. This research was conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Pinyuh street Pendidikan Sungai Pinyuh, Kecamatan Sungai Pinyuh, Kabupaten Mempawah. The instruments used were self-regulated learning questionnaires, numeracy literacy skills tests and interviews. The subjects in this study were class X MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Pinyuh consisting of 35 students. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman Models namely, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of this study indicate that 1) Students with high self-regulated learning are able to fulfill the three indicators of numeracy literacy ability, namely being able to analyze the information displayed in the problem, being able to use various kinds of numbers and mathematical symbols to solve problems, and being able to interpret the results of the analysis to predict and make decisions, 2) Students with moderate self-regulated learning are only able to fulfill 2 indicators out of a total of 3 indicators of numeracy literacy ability, namely being able to use various kinds of numbers and mathematical symbols to solve problems, and able to interpret analysis results to predict and make decisions, 3) Students with low self-regulated learning are only able to fulfill 1 indicator out of a total of 3 indicators of numeracy literacy, namely being able to use various kinds of numbers and mathematical symbols to solve problems. - Abstract
This study aims to prove the influence of intellectual intelligence and learning motivation on students' math learning results partially or simultaneously. Defenisi learning results in this study is the acquisition of the student's learning process in accordance with the objectives of teaching in the cognitive sphere covering aspects of C1 (remember), C2 (understand), and C3 (applying). Intellectual intelligence or IQ is often referred to as intelligence that refers to a person's cognitive abilities, namely high thinking ability in an effort to improve a student's abilities, the ability to reason to plan problems, understand ideas, use language and learn. Learning motivation is a mental drive or strength that encourages, moves, and directs students to learn. This research uses quantitative approach with survey method. The sampling technique uses propotional random sampling techniques. The sample of this study was grade 6 students with a total of 92 students. Instruments used in the form of IQ test data, questionnaires and tests. Data analysis using multiple linear regression regression. The results showed that (1) Intellectual intelligence has a significant influence on students' math learning outcomes, (2) learning motivation has a significant influence on students' math learning outcomes, (3) Intellectual intelligence and learning motivation have a significant influence on students' math learning outcomes. - Abstract
Mathematical literacy ability is one of the abilities in mathematics learning that is very important for a student. However, the fact is that the level of mathematical literacy ability of students, especially in mathematics learning, is still relatively low so that quality learning is needed. The purpose of this study was to test the quality of learning and analyze the mathematical literacy ability of students in terms of selfefficacy in classes using the Geogebra-assisted Think-Talk-Write (TTW) model. This study used a mixed method of sequential exploratory type. The procedure in this study consists of planning, implementing, and assessing. The samples in this study were IVA grade students of SDN Kemantran 01 as an experimental class and IVB students of SDN Kemantran 01 as a control class. The research instrument consists of mathematical literacy test questions, self-efficacy questionnaires, and learning tools. Qualitative data collection was carried out by interviews with research subjects, questionnaires / observations and documentation. Meanwhile, quantitative data is collected by conducting a mathematical literacy test. The results showed that the average validity value of learning devices reached 89.50% (very good), the average practicality score was 92.71% (very good) and the average learning implementation reached 90.98% (very good).
