This article seeks to narrate the process of formation of a Committee in the Secretarial area in the Federal District and reflect on the contributions of this type of collective formation in a context of union weakening in general. With regard to the central theoretical assumption of the paper, the formation of collective actions, authors such as Olson (1999), Austin (2001), Nassar (2001), Nery Junior (2002), Wennignkamp et al. (2015), and Garré Filho (2018) are cited. About the methodological aspects, it is a case study, of qualitative nature, since the COMSECDF was studied. As the main results, it was possible to understand that the process of setting up a committee is bureaucratic and that the challenges of its creation come up against the legal understanding of this organizational nature, the search for people interested and engaged in being part of it, just as the number of people needed for its formation and maintenance, for example. However, the contributions of the professionals involved, as well as for the secretarial profession, are many, such as support in career management, professional development, the publication of texts, and scientific writing. Finally, in view of the benefits and incentives in the case of the COMSECDF, as well as the current reality of union weakening in Brazil, it is considered that a Secretariat Committee may represent an important movement for the reorganization of the category in the country. In an educational stage that has been affected by changes due to neo-liberal society hegemonic interests, the school pedagogue's training, taken in this paper as the pedagogical coordinator, also changes. In this paper we aim to reflect on this professional training based on the historical constitution of the profession, setting up relations with the concepts of professionality and professionalism. Our methodological approach is based on a bibliographical research and on a documental analysis grounded on a theoretical production over the pedagogical coordinator's identity, but also his profession in a historical and social context based in the emerging, dominant, and residual categories. Cooperation is a fundamental part of the construction of the workers' mental health and an essential pillar for building a work environment where there are trust at work. The objective of this paper is debating the formal and the informal cooperation networks which exist in the work of labor judges and the impacts they exert in facing the real work. Although the formal evaluation methods of judges are basically quantitative and individualist and there are no institutional mechanisms which reinforce the peer-to-peer exchanges and value the return of experience, we can observe the creation of cooperation networks within peers. In this paper we analyze the discourses of the presidents of the Province of Goiás for the construction of the feminization of teaching in the 19th century. The discussions are based mainly on the contributions of Bretas (1991), Brandão (2012), Charaudeau and Maingueneau (2012), Maingueneau (2008a and 2008c), Bakhtin (2010), Faírclough (2001) and Ramalho and Resende (2011). It is a qualitative investigation, with an exploratory objective and bibliographic and documentary procedures. The outcomes show, among others, that there was no tendency to insert women in the exercise of teaching, as well as the debate on gender was not set, but, it seems, of segregation based on the moral norm of the time. This paper aims at discussing the representation of Letras undergraduate students from the Student Integration Program (Programa de Integração Estudantil-PROINTE) - English about their motivations to take part in the program, their relevant experiences, opportunities of teacher learning and the influence of the program on the consolidation (or not) of their choice by the teaching profession. The studies about teacher learning and identity (JOHNSON, 2009, REIS, van VEEN; GIMENEZ, 2011, among others) as well as the knowledge bases (SHULMAN, 1986; TARDIF, 2000) are assumed as the theoretical framework to guide our reflections. Data were generated through the application of open questionnaires for eight participants of the program in 2016, 2017 and 2018. This study presents the proposal for a virtual reference service entitled "Professional Guidance Service", which was designed for public libraries with the aim of offering training and professional guidance to the patrons. The main motivation for this proposal stems from the increase of unemployed amount in Brazil, and from the goals prescribed in the IFLA 2030 agenda, with emphasis on the library needs of innovations and services development with a view to eradicating poverty and promoting knowledge access. The innovation proposed in this paper is focused on expanding the reference service to support people who is looking for a job vacancy and training, thus using information utilitarian. The methodology approach consists of an exploratory case study with an empirical qualitative. A functional prototype was developed based on an opensource software platform as a way to demonstrate the applicability of the proposal. It was concluded for its viability, since, to be run, the project could count on opensource technology. This paper analyses the process of trans-formation that occurred in the press and journalism from Rio de Janeiro, between the 1880s and 1900s. Mainly, the relationship established between the literati and journalistic companies was under investigation, paying attention to the daily newspapers. Also, the attempts of defining journalism as a profession itself were analyzed in pair with the rising importance of the conception of labor to the literary production from lots of men of letters in the period. The poet, chronist, and journalist Olavo Bilac was one of the subjects followed with attention, including his literary personal projects as the illustrated magazines. The documents used for this research were chronicles published on the press, registers from Almanak Laemmert, and the interviews contained in O Momento Literário, from João do Rio. This paper aims to find out how the points suggested by Everardo Rocha (1985) as social legitimizers of the advertising profession are present in the reports of workers from Belo Horizonte at the list Como é trabalhar aí?, an online file that circulated on the Internet with descriptions of the routines of agencies. Conceptually, the elements that constitute the profession's imaginary are presented and a discussion is made about the common practices of this occupation. Methodologically, the contents of the list are analyzed in order to identify the representations that advertisers make of their occupation within the scope of praxis. The results when compared show a negative scenario of abuse and exploitation far from what is socially represented to legitimize the profession and that, although different, both dimensions contribute to the construction of meanings of belonging to the same working class. Creative Economy is a recently formed concept that comprises the economic activities of production, distribution and consumption of goods and services formulated through the creativity and intellectual capital. It is greatly valued for its symbolic value and for its capacity to generate employment and income, maintaining an intrinsic bond with culture, society and new technologies. Current paper comprises the creative and market process of products and services formulated by professionals that function within the Creative Economy of the Metropolitan region of the Vale do Paraíba and Northern Littoral Region of the state of São Paulo, Brazil. Data were collected by an in-depth interview with a half-structured scheme with open questions applied to a sample of 13 professionals that work in Creative Industry in the areas of consumption, culture, media and technology. Results reveal that creative economy in the Vale do Paraíba and Northern Littoral Region is a relevant activity and makes possible the subsistence of cultural manifestations and financial sustainability of local producers that keep their traditions, customs and values within the region. This paper demonstrates the connection between the emigrants' professional specialization and their choice of an overseas destination and the best time to emigrate during the period from 1560 to 1651. Using Vila do Conde parish and notary records, this research extracts information on the emigrants' professions and compares it with the local economic and social trends, demonstrating that this was an important emigration factor to those looking for a better life, since their profession allowed them a better adjustment to the economic and social realities at the destination. Diabetic foot ulcers have been receiving increased attention due to the severity of the situations and the large number of diabetic patients, whose prevalence exceeds 10% of the Portuguese population. The lack of feet vigilance among diabetic patients is an actual problem which limits the identification of risk factors, prevention and early intervention. To overcome this problem, nurses need to be familiar with and perform procedures for regular vigilance and assessment of the risk for ulceration in diabetic patients. Therefore, this paper aims to update knowledge on diabetic foot and characterise the process of assessing the risk for foot ulceration in diabetic patients. Recent scientific papers, reports, monographs and guidelines published on this topic were analysed. Despite the different opinions and differences, we concluded that the theoretical frameworks found are a sufficiently sound basis for nursing intervention, and that the existing legal framework is relatively simple, objective and achievable. The aim of this paper is the assumption that the evolution of a profession can occur from the development of relevant research in the area, suggesting that the recognition of such research should be the key factor for its inclusion in academia, for later on, as a consequence, lead to advances in the profession used as research focus. Although the profession of Executive Secretariat historically already exists for over a century and undergraduate courses have arisen at least 30 years ago, scientific research is nascent among professionals. This is due to a number of factors shown throughout this paper. The profession has evolved in the practical sense, following the evolution of the business world; however, it is noticeable the need for conceptual and theoretical developments in the area of Executive Secretariat, which may be realized from well-structured scientific research. This research is quantitative and the teachers, who work in the Executive Secretariat undergraduate courses, answered a questionnaire. This questionnaire aimed to illustrate how these teachers have been involved with research and their opinion about the issues that may facilitate or hinder the advances in research on the Executive Secretariat graduation. Complementarily, it was utilized part of another study performed by the authors to illustrate participation in extra-curricular activities of students in Executive Secretariat courses of the Brazilian public universities (IES). The findings portray a growth of research scenario in the secretarial area, showing the teaching qualification in master and doctoral levels. They develop their potential as scientific researchers and, later on, focus in a particular area, as the secretariat. Following these steps, it is possible to carry out interdisciplinary research and a current trend that demonstrates to be the way for the recognition of solid research results, because the insertion of distinct areas in research requires in-depth analysis and higher across knowledge, adding value to the result constructed. Desde este ano, espaços de debate sobre a prática do oficio, criados por e para jovens profissionais em ergonomia, foram implementados no Peru. Essa iniciativa baseia-se no fato de que o ergonomista é um trabalhador como qualquer outro, e que, por isso, é necessário discutir a ação realizada diariamente afim de progredir na construção da sua prática futura. Se esses espaços são recentes no Peru, eles existem na França há já 5 anos e são propostos pela comissão "Jeunes Pratiques en Réflexion" da Sociedade de Ergonomia Francesa (SELF). The theory of professions according to Max Weber (1864-1920), who conceives bureaucratization as a necessity and as an expression of the modern State, is analyzed. The process of teaching professionalization in the late 19th and early 20th centuries is focused. Current paper deals with three aspects: 1st -- profession, craft, occupation: etymology, conceptualization and contexts; 2nd -- Max Weber: biography and his theory on professions in the modern world; 3rd -- Is there a Weberian understanding on the teaching profession? Professions developed throughout the 19th century and Weber's theory arose in the early 20th century. Current investigation on the teaching profession focuses on the relationships between teaching and the historic and educational aspects which the teaching profession took during the 20th century as a result of the rational objectivity developed by the State. His reflections about professions reveal that professional groups are formed by political, economic, and social strategies, with special emphasis on the role of the State as a regulator for homogeneity and regularity in political and administrative terms. The second half of the 20th century is the time of the institutionalization of suffering at work, and especially of mental suffering. However, more than a psychological category, suffering appears to have become a new key for the discussion of work, its meaning, its worth, and its purpose in the understanding of subjectivity, as well as for how social ties are structured and how one lives in society. If, on the one hand, there seems to be no doubt left that suffering at work, as a form of malaise, is an analytical category that drives the actions of several actors that study and intervene in this field, on the other hand the presence of debate on the nature, reasons and implications of this taking of sides before the subject and work appears to have become less commonplace. The purpose of this paper is to offer a contribution in this direction. We argue that the rhetoric of suffering positions the subject as a vulnerable being that needs constant input and support to act, while work itself is conceived of as a threat. The article discusses the possibilities created by a shift from the subject of suffering to the subject of action, and from work as a disease factor to work as a creative activity.
