This paper aims to summarize the characteristics of 212 papers and 4 Themes (topics) in two BRASILIAN SYMPOSIA OF GEOGRAPHIC CLIMATOLOGY (2010 and 2012), read and separated according to the explained content and data of each main author, aiming to stimulate studies applied to the North of Brazil. The theoretical framework was based on the literature method and the approach of the study was the quantitative type, with drafting tables that enriched the analysis and interpretation. The researches for this article were based on bibliography search methods. The study demonstrated a decrease in the number of articles published from one event to another and that the scientific production in the Northern region is smaller than in other Brazil's regions, showing a potential for further research concerning this topic. CONAPE/2022 as a space for mobilization and resistance is the focus of this paper, which particularly deals with the realization of the state in Mato Grosso do Sul during 2021. Therefore, it is based on documentary research using FEEMS records and documents produced by FNPE. The first section turns to the political scenario in order to explain the reasons that culminated in the creation of the FNPE and the proposition of the CONAPE (2018 and 2022). The second section discusses the organization and carrying out the intermunicipal stages, the free conferences and the state stage. At the end of the article, some considerations are made, supported by documentary research and the authors' involvement in the organization process, about their participation in the focused State. POINT set theory , *WORK in process , *CLINICS , *PSYCHOLOGY , *CONFERENCES & conventions - Abstract
This paper presents a brief discussion about Work psychology, in Brazil, and its interfaces with the Work clinics and the Worker's health field. Our starting point is the set of papers presented by Brazilian researchers in the "France-Latin America Symposium". A methodological cut has allowed us to elect these disciplinary fields by reading titles, reviews and paper references. The texts showed a significant convergence between the following themes: social and critical orientation, keeping interest in the working subjects ; the complexity and singularities that lead their work experiences ; the processes of constitution, the psychic and political-social commitments of these workers. We believe that a synthesis of the researches presented in this colloquium reflects the current moment of the Work Psychology in Brazil, in its connections with the Work Clinics and the Worker's Health. SCIENCE databases , *SCIENTIFIC communication , *ASSOCIATION management , *COUNTRY of origin (Immigrants) , *CONFERENCES & conventions , *BIBLIOTHERAPY , *MOTION analysis , *ONLINE databases - Abstract
Objective: The object of this theoretical-empirical work is to analyze the evolution of the Triple Helix movement based on the analysis of the scientific publications database through bibliometric techniques. Methodology: This is an applied exploratory research. The publications database is structured as an MS Excel file fed manually from the annals of international conferences and other publications. The database is periodically frozen and the main authors, institutions, countries of origin, and topics are counted. Originality: The work is original in the idea of knowing an academic movement through its results. Main results: The database gathers 2,700 inputs (24% journal papers, 70% conferences communications, and 6% books, chapters, and others). These communications were written by 3,465 authors, an average of 1.28 authors per work. As expected, the creators of the concept, Henry Etzkowitz and Loet Leydesdorff, together or with partners, are responsible for 9.4% of all communications. Countries such as Brazil, the UK, the USA, Russia, and Italy are very active in the movement and organizing a conference was crucial to the dissemination of the concept in their countries. Theoretical contributions: The work contributes to a better understanding of the field of action of the Triple Helix theme. It is useful for researchers looking for literature, gaps, and research topics. Management contributions: The work presents contributions to the Triple Helix Association in the management of the movement and to conference organizers, in general universities, and their partners. How do the plans, platforms and strategies of action of the World Conferences on Women reflect the principles of gender justice? In this paper, we point out how the aforementioned documents frame gender justice in terms of redistribution, recognition, and representation. Furthermore, we briefly analyse how these principles are applied to Africa under the framework of the World Conferences' documents. We conclude that the plans and strategies prioritise redistribution and recognition, whereas representation is framed diffusively. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

MARKETING periodicals , *PUBLISHING , *COMPARATIVE studies , *CONFERENCES & conventions , *ANNOTATIONS & citations (Law) - Abstract
This study analyzes the volume of Brazilian scientific production in Marketing published in the period 2000-2009 in BAR, RAC, RAE, RAM, RAUSP and Read periodicals and in the proceedings of EnANPAD and the (EMA). When the results were compared with those obtained by Vieira (2003) in the past decade, there was found to be an increase of 368% in the number of published papers. The number of articles published in the proceedings (81.1%) is still much higher than the number of articles published in periodicals (18.9%). Approximately 65% of the authors published only one paper in the conferences. Consumer Behavior is still the most common subject (29%). The average number of authors per paper increased from 1.7 to 2.3 and the concentration of articles produced by the top five most productive schools declined from 62.5% to 49.6%. The average number of citations per article increased from 21.6 to 37.4 but the average number of citations of Brazilian periodicals only increased from 2.0 to 2.5. The study concludes by forecasting the evolution of scientific production in the area of Marketing. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

MATHEMATICS education , *SENSORY perception , *TEACHING , *CONFERENCES & conventions , *EDUCATION research - Abstract
This paper presents a study of how researchers conceptualize, or give meaning to the term visualization on the research in mathematics education. The aim is to map and classify trends in Brazilian research on the visualization. For this purpose, we considered the papers presented at the National Meeting of Mathematics Education (ENEM). Finally, we emphasize that a new theoretical tendency has been argued to deconstruct the founding principles on which was built the concept of vision and perception, and also to promote a new theoretical approach to the research on mathematical visualization. URBAN planning , *URBAN research , *GRADUATE education , *INTERDISCIPLINARY approach to knowledge , *INTERDISCIPLINARY education , *CONFERENCES & conventions - Abstract
This paper proposes to discuss the relevance of research in urban and regional studies, urban planning and urbanism in the Amazon, and the potential contribution of graduate research to updating development strategies designed for this region. The article is structured around the contrast of data from the S & T policies formatted for the Amazon region, and the guidelines that led to the creation, in 1973, of the Center for Advanced Studies about the Amazon. This literature review and data analysis highlights the expansion of graduate study at UFPA in areas that could have the discussion of cities and urbanization as the focus of interest. It appears that instead of including local cities in a possible development agenda for the Amazon region, the disciplinary character of the guidelines imposed upon the region may be consolidating a tradition of treating urban issues in a segmented fashion, rather than promoting a vision which is necessarily historical and interdisciplinary in nature. DELIBERATION , *DEBATE , *CONFERENCES & conventions , *PUBLIC spaces , *CIVIL society , *POLITICAL planning - Abstract
This paper examines the incorporation of the deliberations of the national conferences into the policy agenda of the Brazilian federal government and suggests aspects that affect the capacity of these public spaces to influence this process. The hypothesis is that the degree of incorporation of each conference, i.e., its inclusive capacity, varies according to the nature of the public policy debated, given that each policy has its own purpose, involves a distinct type of civil society and is formulated by different public institutions. To test this proposition, the article compares the national conferences of aquaculture and fishery, of women and of racial policy. The results corroborate the assumption that conferences of distinct public policies have different inclusive capacity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This article was the result of a lecture given at the Catholic-Lutheran Seminar on Ecumenical Ecclesiology, held in Sao Leopoldo, RS, coordinated by the Commission for Catholic-Lutheran Bilateral Dialogue of Brazil. The purpose of the paper is to show the self-understanding that the Roman Catholic Church, as is the usual terminology in ecumenical dialogue, has of itself, in order to promote a dialogue with the Church of Lutheran Confession in Brazil (IECLB). Thus, the route taken was to start with the approach to the Church's self-identity, passing through the major doctrinal points that express its identity, according to their Tradition and theological reflection, and then examine their relationship with social and religious pluralism. The author has, through a sincere and respectful language, permeated the major doctrinal points, in order to foster an ecumenical dialogue concerning Ecclesiology. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

JOURNALISM & politics , *CONFERENCES & conventions , *FREEDOM of expression , *LEGISLATORS , *GOVERNMENT policy - Abstract
This paper analyzes the importance of creating a regulatory body for the area of journalism from the proposal to establish a Federal Council of Journalism adopted by the 1st Confecom (National Conference on Communications) in 2009. With this objective, we conducted a review of worldwide experiences, mainly european, with the press councils, most of autoregulation. These experiments show that it is possible to create rules that enhance the sector without hurting the major premise of freedom of expression. The defense oh this freedom was the main argument for abandoning the idea of the council by the House of Representatives en 2004, when it was first proposed. Lawmakers prefered a liberal-pluralist perspective rather than a deliberative one in developing rules of professional conduct. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper analyzes how the State acceptance of international norms may influence the implementation of redistributive policies, based on a case study of policies against racial discrimination in Brazil, from 1995 to 2005. It argues that the preparation of and the follow-up to the Durban Conference would have increased the political feasibility of affirmative action policies in Brazil. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

RELIGIOUS life , *AMBIVALENCE , *DOCUMENTATION , *CONFERENCES & conventions ,VATICAN Council (2nd : 1962-1965) - Abstract
This paper aims to present and analyze the reception of the Second Vatican Council (1962-1965) by the Brazilian Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property - TFP, in the person of its founder and leader, Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira. The expectations, actions and conformation of the religious life of the entity are examined with regard to what the Council represented for the life of contemporary Catholicism from documentation that consists of reports of members of the movement, bibliographic production of the entity and others about itself, as well as conferences by TFP founder and leader Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira, seeking to identify the ambivalences present in the process of reception of the Second Vatican Council by the organization. With a strong appeal to preserve traditions, the TFP appears as the great vector of anti-modern thought in twentieth-century Brazil as it stands as a front of resistance to the modern world, especially in its relations with the Catholic Church [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
