The rational allocation and efficient utilization of land resources have become an important issue facing urban development, and the approval of construction land is the core link of land resource management, and its management efficiency is directly related to the effective use of land resources and the sustainability of urban development. This paper sorts out the relevant theories and practices of land use approval management, explores the analysis and evaluation process of land use approval management efficiency in megacities, constructs a comprehensive analysis and evaluation system for land use approval management efficiency, and conducts empirical research on the approval projects in Shanghai in 2023, extracts 86 projects from 9 approval units, and analyzes them by means of system comparison, database technology verification, and file review, and summarizes 30 items with a total of 360 specific approval problems based on the inspection results, integrates the results of many years of work practice, and summarizes 30 items with a total of 360 specific approval problems. Due to the diversified behavioral characteristics and regular pattern of moving objects, the trajectory data generated by these objects shows obvious uneven distribution feature in time and space, which may lead to worse performance for trajectory data indexing and querying. However, the existing trajectory data indexing methods rarely consider this problem. In this paper, a temporal-spatial distribution based indexing and querying method is proposed. In the method, Geohash code is introduced and pre-partitioned spatially by utilizing the temporal-spatial similarity of the trajectory data distribution. Then, we use the pre-partitioned Geohash code, partition number and the trajectory data timestamp to compose the index structure. With this index structure, a storage model based on HBase and a query algorithm based on Geohash partition are designed respectively. The empirical study using real trajectory dataset shows that the method improves the spatiotemporal query performance of trajectory data by comparing with the Extend_HGrid and ST-hash methods, and effectively reduces the number of sub-queries during query. Currency mismatch has drawn attention of the scholars in the recent 20 years. Scholars have proposed lots of empirical measures of currency mismatch of bank that only focus on stock currency mismatch, which leads to some limitations in the conclusion. Based on this fact, this paper comes up with a new indicator of flow currency mismatch, which can be used to analyzing the cause of currency mismatch of bank deeply and dynamically. Then this paper gives an empirical analysis of the relationship between the currency mismatch and some economic variables using ADL model. The study shows that the proper depreciation of domestic currencies, appropriately expanding imports to reduce the trade surplus can effectively reduce the currency mismatch in China from the perspective of stock and the promotion of RMB internationalization can effectively reduce the currency mismatch in China from the perspective of flow. Some well-known notions in univariate statistical analysis becomes misleading in the multivariate context,and have not been correctly understood by many researchers. One example is the relationship between the expected number of events with return periods greater than or equal to T year over a N year period with the ratio N/T. Additionally,in some empirical studies,the relationship between the joint return period of a hydrological multivariate event and the corresponding return periods of its marginal distributions were found and applied. However,there lacks a detailed derivation and interpretation of this relationship. In this paper,based on the GH copula,the relationships between the bivariate return period of an event and return periods of its corresponding marginal distributions was derived theoretically,as well as the relationship between the number of occurrences of bivariate events and their primary return periods at different degrees of correlation between the two marginal variables. The theoretically derived relationships in this study were tested with drought events in Kunming identified on SPI and SRI series with 56 years of monthly precipitation and runoff data. The results suggest that the correctness of drought multivariate return period analysis could not be supported by the closeness of the primary return period of an event and the average inter-arrival time of drought events more severe than the studied event. Future researchers also need to avoid using the maximum marginal return period to approximate the primary return period of an ‘and’ event when the two marginal variables only have a weak correlation. Project Information Literacy (PIL) is a large-scale project surveying college students’ information literacy in America. It has lasted for eight years since 2008 and is still going on. Its research results have been promoted and applied widely among American universities. Compared to PIL. most Chinese surveys on college students’ information literacy tend to use similar methods and lack originality. Yet China’s library and information science community hasn't paid enough attention to PIL. This paper briefly introduces the eight research reports of PIL and compares them with Chinese surveys on the method, sample and content, in the hope of finding the characteristics and weaknesses of the latter and guiding the latter. Whether the "validity" of a model can be validated is necessary to promote the development of computational organization theory, but is also a major bottleneck. Based on the forward position of computational organization theory, this paper reviewed and discussed the validation difficulties and validation method of computational organization model. First, validation of computational organization model is different from validation of natural engineering model and is also beyond the traditional empirical method, and faces many subjective and objective difficulties in the validation process; secondly, developing a validation scenario which is based on the internal relation of problem domain, modeling purpose, reference, and considering model validity from "degree" aspect is the essence of computable model validity; thirdly, (i) constructing a validation method which is different from VV&A validation method of natural engineering system, (ii) focusing on the validation of concepts validity, operation validity and data validity, and (iii) following iterative validation principle, are the research trends in the future. This paper also lists some related validation cases; finally, validation of computational organization model should be a process which increases model confidence, and calls for cross-domain experts to insist on the research interest of the field. This paper constructed two kinds of competitive relationship, namely, Boolean and weighted networks, between logistics enterprises, based on the factors such as the network characteristics of logistics enterprise, the market size and type of business by the method complex network, breaking through the traditional administrative division limit. This paper analyzed network properties of the topology structure, and discussed the economics explanation by using empirical data for enterprises from 2006 to 2009 in Dongguan. This paper empirically tested the existence of the waiting option of the local government under the institutional background of urban land supply and management in China. Under the analysis frame of duration model, the paper constructed a Weibull-distribution based maximum likelihood empirical model, according to the exercise principle of the waiting option and the general testing methodology. Based on the sample of residential-used land transfer and housing market movement in Beijing, the empirical results reveal that every unit marginal increase of the standard deviation of the housing risk will significantly reduce the hazard rate of land transfer of local government by at least 20%, which strongly supports the hypothesis that the local government owns the waiting option in the land transfer process. The external factor plays an important role in affecting user's collective behaviors. However, the external factor from the viewpoint of theoretical model to analyze user's collective behaviors is missing. Thus this paper analyzed the structural property of user-object bipartite networks from a theoretical model. By taking into account the external factors and intrinsic attributes, with the help of generation function, it developed a theoretical model to derivate both the degree distributions of the user and object as well as their unipartite projections. Further, this paper gave an example and numerical simulations. The results show that the results of numerical simulation are consistent with the empirical ones very well, which suggests that it is feasible to analyze structural property of bipartite networks in terms of external factors and intrinsic attributes. This paper extends Banerjee and Duflo's software offshoring model to an incentive-compatible framework and use it to restructure payment contracting in order to control offshoring risk more effectively. We propose a two-stage payments contracting with an embedded milestone-inspection trigger option. The vendor can only get the second-stage payment given her first-stage work satisfies certain criteria set by the client at the inspection point. We model such trigger option using an indicator function method and show that the embedded trigger option improves offshoring-risk mitigation and makes the vendor work harder. Furthermore, embedded trigger option imposes constraints on and thus improve on the client's behavior by changing the share ratio of the overrun for the client. Empirical evidence from the survey data of the China's vendors for the Japanese clients strongly supports main results of our model. Particularly, evidence supports that trigger option helps risk mitigation mainly by improving vendor's overrun reduction efficiency and is a bilateral incentive mechanism for both the client and the vendor. Basing on the theoretical model and empirical analysis, this paper provides a discussion of the hedging effectiveness between the stock market and index future market under the imperfect market conditions. In theoretical analysis, the relation of market imperfection with market microstructure noise and hedging effectiveness is established. In empirical analysis, one approach based on nonparametric estimation is established and applied to real data. The reasonableness of model assumptions and the correction of model conclusions are verified by using 5-minute frequency intra data. Both theoretical and empirical analyses show that the higher the degree of market imperfection, the more necessary to consider the impact of market microstructure noise when using stock index futures to hedge the stock market risk. The empirical results also show that there exists a high degree of imperfection between stock market and stock index future market, but the degree of imperfection has a decreasing trend. Objectives: An appeal to fear may attract an audience's attention to anti-smoking advertisements that reveal tobacco to be harmful and lead to Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. Two empirical studies investigated the persuasive effects of advertisements with appeals to fear and the moderating effect of a self-regulatory focus. Methods: In Study 1, a paper-andpencil questionnaire survey of 172 subjects was used to compare the persuasive effects of antitobacco ads with and without appeals to fear, and to examine the moderating effect of a selfregulatory focus. In Study 2, a 2 (fear /non-fear) by 2 (positive /negative framed message) experimental design with 185 subjects was used to examine the moderating effect of message framing on the persuasive effect of an appeal to fear. Results: Audiences' perceived efficacy and behavioral intent were greater when the ad contains appeals to fear. Both a self-regulatory focus and message framing moderated the impact of appeals to fear on the attitudes toward ads and behavioral intent. Conclusions: According to these empirical studies, we found that an appeal to fear could enhance the persuasive effect; however, a self-regulatory focus might moderate the impact of appeals to fear on attitudes toward anti-tobacco advertisements and behavioral intent. As a mental characteristic, vertical representation bias is introduced to portfolio choice model, to research its influence to investors' portfolio decision. This paper proposes Representation Return concept, and gives an investors' utility function of two variables -- final return and Excess Representation Return, from the principle of expected utility maximization. Then establishes optimal portfolio model based on vertical representation bias, and give an empirical analysis showing that the model can obtain efficient frontier of investment portfolio. Online users' collective interests played an important role for analyzing the online social networks and personalized re commendations. The purpose was to introduce the information entropy to measure the diversity of the user interests. This paper empirically calculated the information entropy of the objects selected by the users with the same degree in both the MovieLens and Last. FM data sets. The results for the MovieLens datasets show that the interests of the small-degree and large-degree users were more centralized, while the interests of normal users were more diverse. However, the results for the Last. FM indicated that was the user degree was the greater, the users' interests were the more centralized. In addition, it proposed a null model to be compared with the empirical results. The results show that the diversity of the majority of users in the real datasets is higher than that in random cases.
