Complex network approach to competitive relationships between logistics enterprises.

This paper constructed two kinds of competitive relationship, namely, Boolean and weighted networks, between logistics enterprises, based on the factors such as the network characteristics of logistics enterprise, the market size and type of business by the method complex network, breaking through the traditional administrative division limit. This paper analyzed network properties of the topology structure, and discussed the economics explanation by using empirical data for enterprises from 2006 to 2009 in Dongguan. The results show that the proposed model is effective and practical, provide a new exploration and attempt for the study of logistics enterprises competitive relationship. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
