This article investigates the lengths of time that publications with different numbers of policy document mentions take to receive their first mention (the beginning stage), and then compares the lengths of time to receive two or more mentions after receiving the first mention (the accumulative stage) based on complete policy document dataset from Altmetric database. We find that in response time distribution, i.e., from zero to one policy document mention, highly and mediumly mentioned papers exhibit obviously different lengths of time compared with lowly mentioned papers. In accumulative time distribution, i.e., from one to N policy document mentions, highly mentioned papers begin to receive mentions much more rapidly than medium‐ and low‐mentioned papers. However, as N increases, the difference in receiving new mentions among high‐, medium‐, and low‐mentioned publications does not increase quite significantly. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Humanity has known and used paper for millennia, but in last decades along with technological progress and available alternatives, the discussion about the use of paper increased significantly due to its significant impact on nature and to economic development and overall efficiency. Paper provides insight about risks of continuing in same pace to use paper and gives view on some most important benefits for transition from analog to digital format. Covid-19 pandemic showed perfectly importance of digitalization and many weaknesses as well. Analysis of theoretical literature and everyday life gives evidence, that we are in long cycle of information transforming, which leads to more decrease of the use of paper in future. Paper is based on real life data from Jelgava's education system including 25 institutions of all levels -- from preschool to gymnasiums, as well as other types too. Research shows tendencies, that from 2018 - 2021 the use of paper decreased to a large extent (-67,5%), while expenditures on digital platforms grew impressively (+501,4%). However, 2022 highlighted those changes were non-persistent and showed the impact of Covid-19 containment measures on these processes, which reflected after restriction were lifted in strong rebound in the use of paper. Scientific breakthroughs have the potential to revolutionize the course of research and shape the trajectory of scientific knowledge. This study investigates the characteristics of Disruptive Citing Papers (DCP) and Consolidating Citing Papers (CCP) associated with Nobel‐winning scientific breakthroughs, aiming to provide insights into the mechanisms of knowledge creation and dissemination. By analyzing a dataset of Nobel‐winning papers and their citation networks, we find that Nobel‐winning papers tend to attract a higher proportion of DCP compared to CCP. However, CCP exhibit a higher impact, as evidenced by their citation counts and likelihood of becoming hit papers. Furthermore, DCP are associated with larger research teams, highlighting the collaborative nature of disruptive research, while CCP employ a higher degree of professional language style characterized by shorter titles and specialized jargon. These findings deepen our understanding of the role played by disruptive and consolidating impact in scientific breakthroughs, shedding light on the dynamics of knowledge creation and dissemination in the scientific community. New media platforms have enhanced the efficiency and diversity of information dissemination, providing new possibilities for the dissemination and promotion of academic papers. Currently, a large number of Chinese academic journals from different disciplines have established WeChat official accounts to promote their papers. This study examines WeChat official accounts from three disciplines: social sciences, natural sciences, and medicine. We analyze the existing paper promotion methods employed by these academic journal official accounts from four dimensions: content presentation format, number of papers promoted in a single post, interactive forms, and publishing time. The findings reveal that the current promotion methods for academic papers on WeChat official accounts are relatively limited, with low utilization of multimedia content. The cross‐domain knowledge diffusion from science to policy is a prevalent phenomenon that demands academic attention. To investigate the characteristics of cross‐domain knowledge diffusion from science to policy, this study suggests using the citation of policies to scientific articles as a basis for quantifying the diffusion strength, breadth, and speed. The study reveals that the strength and breadth of cross‐domain knowledge diffusion from scientific papers to policies conform to a power‐law distribution, while the speed follows a logarithmic normal distribution. Moreover, the papers with the highest diffusion strength, breadth, and fastest diffusion speed are predominantly from world‐renowned universities, scholars, and top journals. The papers with the highest diffusion strength and breadth are mostly from social sciences, especially economics, those with the fastest diffusion speed are mainly from medical and life sciences, followed by social sciences. The findings indicate that cross‐domain knowledge diffusion from science to policy follows the Matthew effect, whereby individuals or institutions with high academic achievements are more likely to achieve successful cross‐domain knowledge diffusion. Furthermore, papers in the field of economics tend to have the higher cross‐domain knowledge diffusion strength and breadth, while those in medical and life sciences have the faster cross‐domain knowledge diffusion speed. During the development process of a serious game elements such as storyline, feedback and learning tasks need to be designed in order to create an entertaining but also goal-oriented learning experience. Thus, a decisive challenge is to master the balance between learning and playing. Prototyping and testing can support a systematic evaluation of this balance. This paper describes how the methods of paper and digital prototyping were applied in the project E.F.A. which aims at developing a serious game on occupational health and safety. Paper prototyping was used at an early stage of the development process. Work on the digital prototype only began after the testing and refinement of the paper prototype was completed. This paper aims at answering the following research questions: How do evaluation results of a serious game concept differ between testing with a paper-based and a digital prototype? For which evaluation criteria is either a paper prototype or a digital prototype an appropriate medium to efficiently test and refine the concept of a serious game? To collect data on these aspects, eight test runs with the paper-based and seven with the digital prototype were conducted. Testers were asked to think aloud while playing and were interviewed before and after testing. A comparison of paper-based and digital testing shows that a paper prototype is rather useful for evaluating baseline elements such as the complexity of learning tasks. In the specific case of E.F.A. the implementation of learning contents was criticized and participants perceived only a small grow in knowledge. For testing aspects of usability digital testing, though, turns out to be a better suited method. The digital version revealed problems in the navigation and the position of dialogs or buttons. A paradigm shift is currently underway with the emergence of the Collections as Data movement, which advocates the creation and dissemination of cultural heritage collections that are amenable to large‐scale computation to empower both collection managers and users. Although this discourse is beginning to gain some traction in the literature, critical evidence‐based assessments of the opportunities and risks of this process are underexplored. This paper presents the results of a content analysis of the official position statements (n = 83) produced in the Collections as Data forums and written by international professionals working with digital collections. Although preliminary, the analysis presented and discussed here sheds light on the initial reception of the idea of Collections as Data and its articulation in practice. The study represents the first systematic attempt to explore the complexities of the intersection of ethics and artificial intelligence in the context of cultural heritage, aiming at providing a valuable precedent for further elaboration and discussion. The bonding potential of pulp fibers is reduced by the paper recycling process. The most common technique for recovering this lost potential of secondary fibers involves upgrading the recycled pulp by blending it with virgin softwood pulps. In this research, we asses print stability on acid agents of UV inkjet prints when using straw pulp as reinforcing fibers in recycled papers. For that purpose, printing substrates were formed on the Rapid Kothen device from pulp obtained by blending different proportions of straw pulp and pulp of recycled fibers. Each printing substrate was printed in full tone with cyan, magenta, yellow, and black inks by digital technique of UV inkjet printing. Printed substrates were treated with various inorganic and organic acids under the conditions defined in the international standard ISO 2836:2004. Based on the measured spectrophotometric values of the untreated and acid-treated prints, the Euclidean color difference (ΔE00) was defined and the stability of prints was assessed. The results of spectrophotometric measurements indicate small to medium color differences of the prints due to the effect of all acids (ΔE00max. < 2.4) and it can be concluded that straw pulp in printing substrates from recycled fibers contributes to good chemical stability of prints. This research concludes that straw, as an annual renewable resource, can be used in conjunction with waste paper as an alternative to wood, which is currently the dominant raw material for graphic industry and producing paper. Learning experience design (LXD) describes the art of creating experiences that help learners fulfilling the learning outcomes they desire. Thus, learning scenarios need to be created in a user-centered and goal-directed way, which in turn has a positive impact on the learner’s motivation. Also during the development process of a serious game the concept of LXD comes into play. This concept is strongly interlinked with design thinking which is a more general approach to generate creative and effective solutions to specific challenges. It focuses on a specific “user” rather on the ”learner” but nevertheless both concepts share key principles: they are user-centered approaches and function in an iterative way. One method, stemming from the concept of design thinking, that is expected to be an efficient way for user-centered usability testing and gameplay development is paper prototyping. This paper describes how the method of paper prototyping was used within the project “E.F.A.” which aims at the development of a serious game for workplace safety. Paper prototyping has been applied during an early stage of the development process in order to test the game mechanics and game elements of the serious game. The paper aims at answering the following research question: To which extent is paper prototyping an appropriate method to test and refine the concept of a serious game in an early stage of development (before digital realization)? In order to gather data on those aspects the project team conducted seven test runs to test the paper-based version of the serious game. The participants which were experts in the field of media didactics were asked to think aloud while playing and were interviewed afterwards. After each test run the paper prototype was modified according to the feedback given by the players. The results indicate that paper prototyping is an appropriate method for testing game mechanics and to some extent the learning outcome in the development process of serious games. The paper poses recommendations on how to use paper prototyping in the context of serious game development and captures the benefits and limits of low-fidelity paper prototypes. In most nations, lung cancer (LC) is the main cause to mortality cases occurring due to tumors to males and females. Lung nodules (masses) are recognized through digital technologies support precise diagnosis using medical imaging techniques such as CT-scan, X-rays and MRI. As the nodules are normally connected to the blood vessels, identification of lung nodules is a difficult task. Several studies illustrate that diagnosing or detecting such cases earlier is regarded the best successful method to counter this disease. Many systems have been developed that automatically identify lung tumors by using magnetic resonance spectroscopy and pattern recognition methods. Despite the encouraging consistency of the classification, none of these schemes have set their course in clinical practice, which also concerns the lack of clarity concerning the process of taking decisions. In this paper, we present a systematic mapping study on lung tumors recognition. After four sorting methods, we obtained 375 relevant studies in total. After applying four filters manually, 48 papers as primary studies related to the main topic are selected as listed in Appendix (A). The selected papers classified them with respect to several facets. The article discusses the digital transformation of media collections in the library. Research that illustrates how processing collection over media, obstacles faced by the Library Service of the Province of South Sumatra. The study used a qualitative descriptive method with the aim of getting a more detailed description of the processing of collections over media. Data collection techniques in the study were carried out by observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews with the head of the library, the head of conservation, the media transfer section, and librarians. The results of the study showed that the processing of media transfer collections consisted of three stages after the media transfer. The main obstacle in processing the transfer of media is the lack of human resources that are competent in the field of media transfer besides that, inadequate facilities due to lack of available budget. Digitizing the library may help library and the users to step toward the sustainable future, because digital libraries are the future. Paper-top interface (PTI) is a fusion of paper and digital technology. We developed a PTI prototype system for increasing learning effects in a classroom. The citation of scientific papers is considered a simple and direct indicator of papers' impact. This paper predicts papers' citations through team‐related variables, team composition, and team structure. Team composition includes team size, male/female dominance, academia/industry collaboration, unique race number, and unique country number. Team structures are made up of team power level and team power hierarchy. Team members' previous citation number, H‐index, previous collaborators, career age, and previous paper numbers are a proxy of team power. We calculated the mean value and Gini coefficient to represent team power level (the collective team capability) and team power hierarchy (the vertical difference of power distribution within a team). Taking 1,675,035 CS teams in the DBLP dataset, we trained the XGBoost model to predict high/low citation. Our model has reached 0.71 in AUC and 70.45% in accuracy rate. Utilizing Explainable AI method SHAP to evaluate features' relative importance in predicting team citation categories, we found that team structure plays a more critical role than team composition in predicting team citation. High team power level, flat team power structure, diverse race background, large team, collaboration with industry, and male‐dominated teams can bring higher team citations. Papel y lápiz (Paper and pencil) is the result of a qualitative research project carried out using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) as a model. Papel y lapiz seeks to teach young people and children, who are identified as being at high social risk, in 35 different public educational institutions (PEIs) from Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. The principle aim of the project will be educating them about the importance of knowing and understanding the often-harsh realities of their social situations with particular focus on the social risks each of them might encounter. Papel y lapiz also aims to teach students about the social situation of their city using media and specifically the press. Working alongside Educommunication, the aim is to start educating the young people in school classrooms, in other words the most formative years of their youth. Between 2019 and 2022 this research project has reached 712 students from various public Educational Institutions (EIs) in Cartagena. The project was materialized in collaboration with teachers and directors by creating 6 educational cards that incorporate the use of the press to analyze some of the most critical issues the city is facing. ID cards, public transport tickets, and diplomas are examples of credentials that society has established as a means to provide trustworthy information to others. In the digital world, the emergence of self-sovereign identity as a new paradigm for the management of digital credentials aims to narrow the conceptual gap between digital and physical credentials. The ongoing digital transformation in the public sector requires dealing with a large variety of credentials in different forms systematically. However, there is still currently no generic conceptual model of credentials in the Information Systems (IS) discipline. We employ design science research to develop a unified meta-model on credentials, their use, and their governance. Our results contribute to research through an empirically grounded conceptualization of credentials and provide practitioners with a common basis to capture, analyze, and design the handling of credentials in real-world scenarios. In scientific social networks, group information has become an important auxiliary information to enhance the performance of paper recommendation, as many researchers prefer to obtain interested papers by joining groups. However, the existing paper recommendation methods failed to make full use of group information. In this paper, a paper recommendation method considering group information with multi-graph attention fusion network (GI-MGAF) is proposed. Specifically, in the graph construction layer, we construct researcher-paper bipartite graph, group-researcher bipartite graph and group-paper bipartite graph. In the information propagation layer, graph attention networks (GAT) are used to learn the node representations on the constructed bipartite graphs. In the information fusion layer, the researcher-level attention and paper-level attention are developed to respectively fuse the representations of researchers and papers. The paper deals with the preferences of the Slovak university students either for digital or print medium while reading for school work. Respondents of our sample belong to generation Y who grow up and still live in the digital environment. In spite of this fact we supposed some share of them tends to utilise hard copy or combines it with digital platforms. Findings showed that printed text is widely preferred among our sample of respondents. Majority of university students use paper as a medium for school work. This paper aims to underline how the new emerging digital technologies could empower women entrepreneurship by supporting them in overcoming the constraints they face as well as in creating a more favorable network environment. We will do this by analyzing the state of the art of the research regarding entrepreneurship practices by women considering the literature that has focused on this theme up to now. Methodology - A structured literature review methodology is going to be applied to this paper. Through the use of specific keywords, we analyzed Scopus documents published up to now on the theme related to Women and technology entrepreneurship. Several steps have been followed to perform a systematic, transparent, and replicable study. We used the VOSviewer tool for bibliographic and cluster analysis. A final content analysis was performed to identify research areas. Findings - Specifically the contribution and the impact provided by the Digital Technologies is analyzed for women's entrepreneurship. A conceptual discussion on how the Digital Technologies opportunities in overcoming some of the constrains women tackle in their entrepreneurship process and which are the main research streams that emerge for future investigation on the theme, is provided. Practical implications - The major implication is to advance knowledge and practice in the area of gender in management and use of Digital Technologies by focusing upon empirical research, theoretical developments, practice and current issues. Determining the proper location of the distribution center is a strategic plan in maintaining customer service commitment, saving time, transportation costs, and general operational costs. The purpose of this research is to determine the distribution center location in the case of paper packaging products. The method used is center of gravity and AHP. The location recommended by the center of gravity method is right in the center of the North Bekasi toll road which is not feasible (coordinates X: -6.2621505, Y: 107.015805). The priority of distribution center locations in the case of paper packaging products using the AHP method is C location with a weight of 0.3402, A location with a weight of 0.3329, and B location with a weight of 0.3269, respectively. The purpose of this research synthesis project is to survey existing digital game-based learning (DGBL) research in order to generate preliminary categories that articulate analytically distinguishable cognitive competencies. These include orientations, attitudes, interactions, and dispositions that enable cognitive development through playing games. We compile an initial literature scan, limiting the language to English, then search via keyword "game-based learning" through the following educational research databases: Eric, Education Source, Communication & Mass Media Complete, Education Index Retrospective, and Teach Reference Center. This returned over 1,500 results, which we refined by filtering out papers focused on gamification, those researching populations outside of educational contexts (e.g., private business and healthcare), systematic and scoping reviews, and papers published before 2010. This focused the results closer to 1,300 papers, which we divided into two categories, research focused on learning ecologies, and research using "motivation" in its key words and/or abstract. One clear and unexpected result was the way in which DGBL research inconsistently discusses motivation, and how it mainly seems to be used as a catch-all for measuring GBL outcomes. In the era of accelerated digitalisation, the field of education has been profoundly influenced by technological advances, transforming the way pupils and students learn and teachers teach. This study aims to conduct a critical and constructive bibliometric analysis of a set of scholarly papers published between 2009 and 2024, with a focus on the impact of digitization on education. To carry out this study, 256 relevant documents were identified through the keywords "digitalisation", "impact" and "education" using the Web of Science (WOS) database. Subsequently, after processing and filtering these documents, a set of 238 documents was used as the basis for the study. The analysis was done using R statistical software, with the Biblioshiny bibliometric extension. The discourse on Employee-Driven Innovation (EDI) centers on the initial stages of the EDI process: idea generation, evaluation and implementation However, a research gap exists concerning the internal structure of the EDI process - specifically, its phases and influencing factors. In this paper, the phenomenon of EDITRANSOR - transition of EDI into Organizational Routine (OR) is presented. Preliminary findings, drawn from two distinct cases, center on exploring the internal structure of EDITRANSOR and the factors that influence it. By employing a case study method, the research extends the understanding of the EDI process in three significant ways. Firstly, it highlights the EDITRANSOR phases, with the unexplored phase of EDI solidification into OR. Secondly, it demonstrates categories of factors enabling and impeding the process. Thirdly, it suggests that factors vary across EDITRANSOR phases. Cities have been studied as a platform for sustainability transformation and social innovation, mainly focusing on environmental sustainability and emphasizing governance and citizen roles as transition actors. Previous studies have paid limited attention to the social aspects of sustainability and the role of business organizations as producers of socially targeted innovation. Our study develops a framework for the identification of social sustainability impacts of communal neighborhoods. Considering the residents' collaborative efforts for creating the sense of community, this paper explores whether the concept of social innovation is useful in conceptualizing the social sustainability impacts of communal neighborhoods. We use the framework to illustrate initial findings of a case analysis of two Finnish communal neighborhood concepts. Our EU-funded project, conducted in Jönköping County, Sweden from 2021-2023, aimed to advance AI in the local business sector through collaboration between academia, industry, and business promotion systems. Using a stepwise approach, we transitioned 88 companies from basic AI knowledge to implementing AI functions. This included assessing AI maturity and developing tailored educational materials. Collaborating with Jönköping University, we engaged 19 SMEs, integrating real-world AI challenges with academic courses. Emphasizing sustainable and ethical AI practices, we educated companies on possible alternatives to AI usage. This paper aims to explore how organisational ambidexterity development is linked to a systematic approach to managing innovation. Specifically, it focuses on the adoption of Innovation Management Systems, such as the recently developed ISO 56002. Therefore, this paper presents preliminary results of a planned exploratory research focusing on Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs), which will be carried out as a longitudinal international project. The research will be conducted in several European and Canadian Small SMEs with a series of semi-structured interviews. The preliminary results of our pilot cases based on 6 organizations reveal that SMEs are open to the systematic approach to innovation capability development and display systematic tendency for some capabilities, such as collaboration and leadership. In this paper we discuss how digital transformation in finance is leading to increased focus on customer-centricity. We describe how this is often understood as data-driven innovation based on quantitative collection and analysis of digital customer information. We explore the potential of using qualitative data to understand customer contexts and pain points. We share research that illustrates how quantitative data can overlook important knowledge about customers' decision-making and customers' use of different financial solutions, while it can underestimate customers' ability to manage new technological solutions. We recommend that financial service providers extend their innovation toolbox to include qualitative research methods and that they build a customer centric research culture. This paper examines the relationship between entrepreneurial education and action, emphasizing the complexity of transitioning from education to entrepreneurial journey. Highlighting the significance of universities in fostering entrepreneurship, it underscores the necessity of educational programs extending beyond traditional business education. Drawing from various theoretical frameworks, including Shapero and Sokol's Entrepreneurial Event Model and Ajzen's Theory of Planned Behaviour, the paper proposes an Intention Model to elucidate the transition from opportunity identification to intention formation and subsequent entrepreneurial action. Through a combination of literature review and empirical research, the study explores the impact of entrepreneurship education on graduates' entrepreneurial actions, shedding light on factors such as personal desirability, social norms, and perceived efficacy. This paper contextualizes discourses surrounding new media technologies by examining activism around independent media, using as a case study an activist group who since the mid-1990s have advocated for greater citizen access to low power FM (LPFM) radio. The continuing interest in the viability of FM radio demonstrates the need for a nuanced understanding of the uses and impacts of communication technologies. I argue that the significance of new media technologies can be grasped most effectively when considered in a dynamic field that includes older technologies; emerging technologies are often viewed through the lens of patterns of use and interpretation of older technologies, at least initially. I follow the activists' assessments of not only FM radio but emerging digital technologies, including webstreaming, "smart" (or software-defined) radio, and wi-fi networks. In practice, the activists circumspectly negotiate expanding their efforts to encompass community wi-fi networks, while trying to retain the vision, flavor, and organizing strategies from their LPFM campaigns. I trace the tensions they experience as they consider the implications of this shift for their emphasis on a "grassroots mandate", for their policy work versus hands-on technical work, and for their identification with FM radio technology versus the inclusion of computer and wi-fi technology in their conception of their work. As digital platforms have become the locus of competition and innovation in the digital economy, it is imperative to understand consumer decisions on adoption and usage. Digital platforms have unique traits, as they are extensible and often mediate between users. These traits may require understandings to move beyond generic (post-)adoption theories. This paper reviews the rapidly growing body of empirical consumer studies on digital platforms in order to identify emerging trends in this field. After a structured literature review, we conduct a network analysis using the hypotheses that are supported in the papers. We find a wide variety of over 130 concepts is considered. Factors from generic (post-) adoption theories are often studied, alongside factors related to the concept of network effects. We find differences between the importance of direct, indirect, local and global network effects. We find that studies pay relatively little attention to characteristics that arise from the extensibility of digital platforms, such as openness, control, security and privacy. We posit that IS researchers have the important task of opening up this black box of digital platform characteristics and theorize how notions of extensibility and generativity affect consumer decisions, going beyond mainstream theories on adoption and continuance. The main goal of this paper is to find out if there are distinct differences between the topics of intellectual capital and knowledge management. Given the scarcity of research focusing on them, only one case was obtained, encompassing the 2, within the scope of a sports company. It is concluded that there are differences, despite the topics being intangible in nature. Some insights can be highlighted. Knowledge-based businesses create value. The relationship established between them is bidirectional. Even though they are autonomous, they have a complementary relationship with each other. Its result can culminate in both the creation and destruction of value, for all or some stakeholders. The strategies that are at the base can be located at either an optimal or sub-optimal level. In the current era, one of the key challenges in utilizing the Holt-Winters Method of forecasting is the accurate selection of smoothing coefficients. To address this issue, researchers have explored an optimization approach that aims to minimize forecasting errors, such as Mean Squared Errors (MSE) or Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD). This paper presents a novel methodology that employs a Genetic Algorithm (GA) to optimize the forecasting error by determining the optimal smoothing coefficients for the Holt-Winters Method. The objective value of the optimization problem is the Mean Square Error (MSE), which serves as a measure of the accuracy of the forecast. To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed approach, actual test cases based on rice stock commercial commodity in the Philippines during the COVID-19 pandemic were utilized. The paper examines different variants of the Holt-Winters Method and assesses their suitability for capturing the characteristics of the rice stock data. The findings indicate that an additive seasonal effect is more appropriate for modeling the seasonal patterns observed in the rice stock data. Furthermore, the performance of the proposed GA-based approach is compared to other forecasting models to ascertain its efficacy. The results demonstrate promising outcomes, suggesting that the GA-based optimization approach for determining the smoothing coefficients in the Holt-Winters Method improves the accuracy of rice stock forecasting during the COVID-19 pandemic. The paper reviews and assesses the state of blockchain research and conceptualises blockchain uses as socio-technical phenomena. The first blockchain use case emerged with the release of Bitcoin in 2008. Since then, blockchain use has proliferated in various other areas and encompassed an array of applications, such as tokens (cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens), decentralised autonomous organisations and smart contracts. The paper presents a structured literature review of 113 research papers in information systems and related fields (e.g., organization studies, management and humancomputer interaction) that commonly study socio-technical phenomena and organisational uses of technology. Conceptualising blockchain uses as socio-technical phenomena highlights the necessity to account for business models, social implications and stakeholders' values regarding blockchains beyond the blockchain technology 'as such'. The review reveals that the existing literature has articulated substantial knowledge of some aspects of blockchain uses but lacks knowledge in other aspects. Therefore, we propose a research agenda. Conversational agents (CAs), which communicate naturally with humans, are being developed and employed for a variety of tasks. Interactions between humans and CAs induce affect, which is vital to the adoption and performance of CAs. Yet, there is a lack of cumulative understanding of existing research on affect in human-CA interaction. Motivated thus, this article presents a systematic review of empirical IS and HCI studies on such affect, its antecedents and consequences. Besides conducting descriptive analysis of the studies, we also divide them into two broad categories - emotion-related, and those related to other (more persistent) affective responses. We present organizing frameworks for both categories, which complement each other. Through the review and frameworks, we contribute towards attaining a holistic understanding of extant research on human-CA interaction, identifying gaps in prior knowledge, and outlining future research directions. The use of digital tools in algebra education is expected to not only contribute to master skill, but also to acquire conceptual understanding. The question is how digital tools affect students' thinking and understanding. This paper presents an analysis of data of one group of three grade seventh students (12-13 year-old) on the use of a digital tool for algebra, the Cover-up applet for solving equations in particular. This case study was part of a larger teaching experiment on initial algebra enriched with digital technology which aimed to improve students' conceptual understanding and skills in solving equations in one variable. The qualitative analysis of a video observation, digital and written work showed that the use of the applet affects student thinking in terms of strategies used by students while dealing with the equations. We conclude that the effects of the use of the digital tool can be traced from student problem solving strategies on paper-and-pencil environment which are similar to strategies while working with the digital tool. In future research, we recommend to use specific theoretical lenses, such as the theory of instrumental genesis and the ontosemiotic approach, to reveal more explicit relationships between students' conceptual understanding and the use of a digital tool. The digitization, curation, and utilization of Chinese ancient books are crucial to the digital humanities. Despite progress in these areas, issues with data interoperability, data sharing, and data linkage persist due to a lack of standardized annotated ancient corpus and a general description framework for ancient books. To overcome these challenges, this paper proposes an ontology‐based description framework that integrates catalogs of Chinese ancient books from various institutions, creating a standardized, interpretable, and researchable knowledge base. The framework combines general standards with unique ancient book characteristics, revealing complex relationships between books and books, books and people, and books and times, providing a more comprehensive understanding of the knowledge contained within ancient books. Additionally, this paper applied the framework to The National Rare Ancient Book Directory, a catalog containing 13,026 books from over 400 institutes, to develop an interactive system. The digital transformation of healthcare, education, industry, and agriculture has generated new opportunities but also led to an increased use of digital devices that will lead to an increase in electronic waste (e-waste) at the end of the life cycle of these devices. In this paper, we report the electromagnetic properties of plant leaves from ten of the most used flowers that can be used to produce environmentally friendly microstrip antennas or fully biodegradable sensors for application in smart agriculture. The analysis of the results for the electromagnetic properties of the leaves of selected plants showed that the real part of the relative permittivity varied widely from 22.962 to 67.43387 for the leaves of garden plants and from 27.82699 to 55.80639 for the potted plants. The variation of the loss tangent of leaves is quite similar in potted (from 0.22718 to 0.35972) and garden (from 0.22812 to 0.33277) flowers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

As global consumers increasingly prioritize sustainability, industries are compelled to explore innovative solutions. This research paper investigates the potential of keg wine as a sustainable innovation addressing ecological, social, and economic goals. Despite alternative packaging options like bag-inbox and cans, the wine industry largely relies on glass bottles, contributing to a significant carbon footprint. Leveraging the sustainability-oriented service innovation (SOSI) tool, this study analyzes keg wine as a solution for sustainable wine production, distribution, and consumption. Through a joint research including life cycle assessments, the environmental benefits of keg wine over glass bottles are demonstrated. Moreover, market studies reveal restaurateurs' and consumers' favorable attitudes towards keg wine, driven by economic savings and ecological consciousness.
