Technological advances have an impact on changing the learning system with Blended learning with the consequences of diverse student perceptions. This paper aims to map students' perceptions of blended learning in the Character-Building course and analyze how the Binusmaya LMS supports the success of blended learning at Bina Nusanatara University. The data was obtained from online articles and then confirmed by several students as informants in this paper. Informants were limited to a few students who had studied several semesters using the blended learning method and were randomly appointed from various majors. In collecting data, the interview guide instrument was used to formulate questions. Open-ended questions include three things: First, data related to the effectiveness of learning with blended learning. second, satisfaction with LMS Binumaya. Third, the success factor of the blended learning system. This study found three types of perceptions: First, in general, students were satisfied with the Binusmaya LMS as a supporter of the blended learning method. Second, a small number of them were dissatisfied with the LMS due to some technical issues, and third, the students felt quite effective and satisfied but needed improvement in the performance of the Binusmaya LMS. Machine learning provides various algorithms for application in different domains. In the educational field, huge volume of students' data is generated and machine learning algorithms serve as valuable tool for pattern identification in students' behavior. In this paper, CRISP DM standard for data mining is applied in the research with decision tree algorithm used for modelling on Croatian dataset to develop predictive models for students' outcomes prediction. Data set consisted of 264 students of largest Croatian university collected by online survey. The results prove that decision tree modelling achieves superior results in terms of high accuracy and reliability together with interpretability of tree structure and obtained rules in prediction of students' academic performance. This approach shows promise to be used in student success prediction in the universities in an automatic manner. Such model can be used to: (i) improve students' learning and develop personalized recommender systems for optimal learning paths, (ii) emphasize to professors most important determinants of students' academic success (iii) help management of higher education institutions to facilitate the provision of detailed student learning and adjust institutions strategies, (iv) automate adaptation of the course modules and faculty programs. This research studied the preferences and opinions of the University of Jeddah students towards electronic exams, also reviewed the statistical differences in opinions towards electronic exams between students according to the factors of the study, gender, major, GPA, and educational level. The method of the research is the descriptive-analytical method. This study focuses on many aspects and classifications that would measure the ability to adopt electronic exams instead of paper exams. The sample consists of (1084) students at the University of Jeddah. The sample was selected from different faculties majoring in humanities and sciences. The researchers used an electronic questionnaire seeking students' opinions towards electronic exams to collect the data analyzed using SPSS software. The results indicated that the preferences of the University of Jeddah students towards electronic exams were positive. There are no significant statistical differences in preferences and opinions towards electronic exams among students according to gender, major, GPA, and educational level. This paper aims to explain two drone projects that introduce students to Computer-Aided Design (CAD), design, analysis, and simulation through several project-based learning modules. In any Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) configuration, the airframe is one of the principal components of the whole structure that can be used as a design topic. So, students develop CAD models of airframes and used SolidWorks simulation software, to perform Finite Element (FE) analysis studies. The drone frame was simulated and analyzed in various conditions such as drop tests, during takeoff, and in-flight maneuvers. Korean Culture disseminates rapidly across the globe. The young generation is highly engaged in Korean trends, such as Korean pop music, dramas or movies, fashion, food, and beauty standards. With the use of media, the effects of Korean trends may have resulted in the effects of media on people and society such as addiction, perceptual influence, psychological effect, time consumption, and impulsive spending. The study aimed to determine whether there is a relationship between variable factors affecting the student's academic performance. The proponents used a quantitative approach in the 388 participants at the Technological Institute of the Philippines. This study shows that the Korean Trends and the Effect of Media on People and Society correlated to its variable factors. Entrepreneurship is vital in economic advancement and global competitiveness. Entrepreneurship education has shown a rapid growth worldwide as education provides an environment that will stimulate the growth of the learner; and facilitates innovation and competition. Transformative changes in entrepreneurship education provide students with an environment to grow and sharpen their entrepreneurial skills and exploit innovation opportunities. Academic entrepreneurship education delivers sustainability within the education system by improving knowledge and competencies of entrepreneurship and provides avenues for more advantageous learning. In this paper recent entrepreneurship education studies were reviewed to understand the trends and development in entrepreneurship education studies. The research mainly focused on the status of innovative methods in entrepreneurship education and outlined current innovative methods that are being implemented to inspire a dynamic and self-regulating attitude and a mindset in learners for new opportunities. Among innovative methods, technology-enhanced learning and using various technology platforms are found very helpful in bringing about social awareness and innovation from students. Digital technologies and e-skill are outlined very helpful in increasing knowledge retention and engagement in a particular topic in entrepreneurship settings to better prepare students for the challenges that are most certainly ahead in the future. Also, it is important to adjust different techniques used in teaching to correspond to the needs of the students with multidisciplinary backgrounds. With technological developments that are increasingly significant every year, many organizations or companies are led to change activities digitally without exception for student organizations that are required to do the same thing. Student organizations have the meaning of an organization that is formally and officially registered under the university. Other than that, it is not included in the context of student organizations. However, the implementation of digital transformation encountered many obstacles, such as a lack of prepared human resources, lack of support, and the reluctance to make significant changes. The purpose of this paper is to describe a comprehensive evaluation experiment of semi-immersive virtual reality (VR) applications from the heuristic side of application interface design to cognitive enhancement abilities, and increasing learning motivation when the application is used as a learning process. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method to comprehend the phenomena encountered by the research subjects, such as behavior, perception, motivation, and actions. Based on data analysis, the study's findings revealed that the use of Virtual Reality at the Museum was quite effective and efficient in the post-COVID19 pandemic for students. This study also discovered that virtual reality was able to increase the number of visits as well as increase interest in learning and understanding the Al-Quran Mushaf better. The conclusion is that, following the COVID-19 Pandemic, VR has become one of the educational media that is effective in helping students, so that they can present simulations like in the real world, where they can see the Istiqlal Mushaf comprehensively. The conclusion of this study was to compare knowledge retention after immersive and non-immersive skill training methods. Site visits and virtual visits can also be quantitatively and qualitatively compared to increase student engagement, motivate students, and provide interactive feedback to encourage learning. The outbreak of Coronavirus (Covid-19) and the associated government containment measures to address the problem forced many universities across the globe to adopt or deepen their online teaching and learning activities. As a result, assessments that ordinarily follow pedagogical approaches of face-to-face classroom-based practices and procedures, moved to online variants -- a novel practice for many academics across disciplines. Expectedly, such shifts have ignited debates among scholars about assessments quality and academic integrity. From both academic and students' perspectives, the aim of this paper is to review systematically, and critically evaluate and understand the relationship between online assessments and performance outcomes in safeguarding quality and academic integrity. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, teaching learning process has changed from traditional classroom method to online learning. To cope with this situation, Engineering Faculty of Mulawarman University introduced MOLS (Mulawarman Learning Online System) to allow students interact with learning tools via web browsers. This paper aims to evaluate the student's perceived usability of MOLS based on effectiveness, efficiency, and user satisfaction. Furthermore, this paper attempts to improve MOLS to meet the students' need. For this purpose, three methods are applied, i.e., using SUS (System Usability Scale) to measure student's satisfaction, Performance Measurement to evaluate effectiveness and efficiency and Thinking Aloud to gather data about what users' opinion about MOLS design. This opinion usually turn into redesign recommendations. A number of 96 students of Engineering Faculty participated in SUS Questionnaire and 10 students were involved in Performance Measurement and Thinking Aloud process. Result showed that SUS score was 61.64 which is below marginal score 68. The effectiveness was 99% and efficiency was 0.0035 task/second. Thus, MOLS application is effective and efficient, yet its needs further improvement to meet the students' needs, such as adding more features, design interesting and interactive user interface and improve the response time. Education in Islamic boarding schools, general education, and accounting education prioritize ethics and morals in educating their students. This study wants to identify the products of Islamic boarding school education, general education, and accounting education related to the ethics of preparing financial statements. This paper examines the differences in perceptions between boarding school caregivers, students majoring in accounting, and non-accounting students on the ethics of preparing financial statements. Indicators for the ethics of preparing financial statements are earnings management, misstatement, disclosure, cost-benefit, and responsibility. The survey data was collected from 9 Islamic boarding school caregivers, 21 accounting students, and 64 non-accounting students at Islamic boarding schools, Al Bismi, Central Java. ANOVA analyses were employed to test the hypotheses. The ANOVA test results showed no difference in perceptions between the boarding school caregivers, students majoring in accounting, and non-accounting students on the ethics of preparing financial statements. However, there are differences in perceptions of Islamic Boarding School Accounting PSAK in the group of students majoring in accounting and non-accounting students. Furthermore, the perceptions between boarding school caregivers and students majoring in accounting and non-accounting students differed in responding to Law Number 18 of 2019 concerning Islamic Boarding Schools. Organizational culture and students' satisfaction are among critical factors for any university. Although these concepts have attracted considerable interests from both academics and practitioners, there are few studies that examine the relationship between them in different culture like Saudi Arabia. Hence, the present study investigates influence of organisational culture on students' satisfaction in Saudi Arabia as well as to evaluate the impact of each sub-element of organizational culture on students' satisfaction. This is due to the belief that the unsatisfied student might choose to abandon their study. Therefore, the present study aims to explore the relationship between organisational culture dimensions and overall satisfaction. The present study was conducted on 1534 students randomly drawn using questionnaire method. The statistical tool used to test the hypothesized model is the structural equation modelling with AMOS version 24. The results obtained indicates significant positive impact between organisational culture dimensions and students' satisfaction. The finding showed that out of the four dimensions of organizational culture, four have influence on students' satisfaction. Based on these results it can be said that university administration should take into consideration students' organisational culture as well as their satisfaction in order to enhance their academic outcomes. The presented research focuses on examining the influence of interruptions in online learning on student's perceptions and comprehension. We conducted an experiment with 45 participants. Each participant watched one lecture that belonged to one of the two experimental groups, a lecture with interruptions or a lecture without interruptions. While watching the lecture, the eye movements of the participants were recorded using an eye tracking device. After watching the lecture, the participants were asked to answer two questionnaires, knowledge questionnaire and subjective questionnaire. We found that interruptions do harm the comprehension of the delivered material when they occur and moreover, they cause an "after affects", harming the comprehension of the studied material even at times they do not occur at all. In addition, we found that interruptions attract the student's attention when they occur and at the same time causing a feeling of aversion and a desire to avoid focusing on them. Which may eventually cause negative subjective perceptions and to harm the understanding of the studied material. The world of online learning has developed a lot in 2020 and in fact the whole world has been forced to switch to online learning. Therefore, this technology must be optimized and improved. 21st-century language learning involves technology as a medium of learning. Over the centuries, various technologies have been created to synchronize the language learning process to the present-day phenomenon that results in flexibility - students can learn a language anywhere, anytime even without a teacher. As the newest information technology, smartphones have now functioned as mini-computers that are used by students for language learning. It promotes autonomous learning, that is the ability to control one's learning and the potential ability to act in learning situations. This research aims to investigate the potential of smartphones in promoting autonomous language learning, focusing on three questions; (1) what smartphone applications are used by students for language learning, (2) what skills are associated with it, and (3) how they use them for language learning. An interview and smartphone log were used to collect the data. The findings showed that there are 51 applications used by the participants. The objective of this research aimed to analyze the influence of intention factors including attitudes towards social media advertising, celebrity endorsements, the reputation of tutoring, and E-WOM on students' intentions to take tutoring in Palembang City. The method used in this study was quantitative research with a total of 100 respondents. Data was obtained by the online questionnaire method and the analytical technique used was SEM analysis with the Lisrel 8.80 program. The results of this study indicated that attitudes towards social media advertising and E-WOM had a positive effect on students' intentions. Further results also concluded that endorsing celebrities and the reputation of courses had no effect on students' intentions. In preparing sustainable business and entrepreneurship education in agriculture, it is important to have an initial approach to students to determine what learning needs are needed. The purpose of this study was to obtain the needs of agricultural students for the entrepreneurship education they need in order to become entrepreneurs in agriculture after graduating from college. This research is qualitative in nature using an online survey of 44 agricultural students at a university, in the city of Bandung, Indonesia. Data analysis carried out was coding, data validation, and crosscase analysis. The results of the study indicate that entrepreneurial skills and the use of technology are the main concerns of agricultural students, as well as several other factors needed to support entrepreneurship education activities for agricultural students. The benefit of this research is that it helps universities to map out needs and also prepares curricula and experts that support these needs. Entrepreneurship education in an academic environment cannot be separated from the academic tasks that need to be carried out, and the activities of running a real business. Students are given the opportunity to build their business from the start and are then accompanied by a facilitator. The purpose of this research is to see the motives of business students, whether students do business as an assignment, or continue after they graduate from college. This study uses an online survey with open-ended questions to 234 business students who are currently undergoing a program at a business incubator at a private university in Bandung, Indonesia. The results of the study show that 62% of students want to continue their business after graduation, the remaining 38% want to make business in college as a learning task only. It was the outbreak of the covid-19 epidemic that prompted Indonesia's economy to shift from an industrial civilization to a more entrepreneurial culture. Higher education institutions are being pressed harder than ever to do more than just teach. Academia has so broadened its goal to include entrepreneurial activity, known as academic entrepreneurship, in response. As the academic's research or the college's entrepreneurial environment grows, there is an increasing desire to promote academic entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurial experiences and entrepreneurial attitude among Greater Jakarta's higher education students will be the focus of this article. The researchers conducted a survey of students at Jakarta's higher education institutions in order to achieve their goal. The Rasch Model Analysis is used to quantify the major variations in entrepreneurial orientation based on entrepreneurial experiences. The Cross Tabulation is used to analyze the key impacts between entrepreneurial experiences and entrepreneurial attitude. First, there is a considerable variation in entrepreneurial attitude among higher education students in Greater Jakarta based on their entrepreneurial experiences. Second, entrepreneurial experiences and entrepreneurial attitude have a strong correlation among Greater Jakarta's university students. Entrepreneurial orientation among higher education students may be boosted by entrepreneurial experiences produced by higher education institutions, according to practical implications based on this study. The participation of students in the MBKM program implemented, especially at the Narotama University Surabaya Campus, cannot be separated from students' perceptions of the benefits that can be obtained by participating in MBKM activities. The perception of these benefits certainly cannot be separated from students' knowledge of the MBKM program itself. This study aims to determine the effect of knowledge on students' perceptions of the benefits of MBKM activities. The research data was used using the MBKM evaluation instrument made by Dikti. Respondents in this study were all students at the Faculty of Economics and Business. The number of respondents who filled out the questionnaire was 549 people. The data that has been collected were analyzed using frequency distribution analysis, cross-tabulation, and chi-square. The result showed that in general, the level of student knowledge of the MBKM program has an impact on students' perceptions of the benefits of the MBKM program. The better the level of students' knowledge of the MBKM program, the better students' perceptions of the benefits of the MBKM program. The Covid-19 pandemic has significant impact on education system. In mitigating health risks for educators and students, many higher education institutions across the globe opt to apply new ways of teaching and testing; online distance learnings (ODL). The ODL however lead to adverse effect on academic integrity as the online platform provided more opportunity for students to defraud the system and cheat. Thus, the main objective of this study is to investigate the student's attitude towards academic dishonesty on ODL and how such attitude affect financial reporting fraud intention. Using a questionnaire survey of 158 accounting students of Malaysian public university, the results show that academic dishonesty attitudes is significantly positive associated with financial reporting fraud intention. Dips Ice Cream is engaged in the beverage and food industry with a focus on ice cream and to-go snacks production. It is located in the Library of the University of Indonesia and is always busy with students during their peak hours. In meeting material needs, they use manual estimates and have not used a systematic calculation of facility planning. Besides that, Dips' flow of workers and material handling are not optimal due to limited space. Researchers conducted observations in the field and processed the data using Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) methods to redesign the facility layout and minimize workers' movement on the production floor. The data are selected to be processed through OPC with the number of operations. Data processing uses OPC, ARC, ARD, and flow process materials for alternative layouts and adjustment on customer's flow to maximize efficiency during the service. From the given four layout recommendations, the proposed layout is chosen because it is the most effective and efficient layout to minimize workers', ease material movement, and improve customer flow so that Dips ice cream could increase its productivity. A pre-requisite for exact sciences students is to master basic mathematical skills. Since 2016, to reduce the drop-out level of such students, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev offers a "Mathematics Proficiency" online -- self-evaluation and training course. The course was developed by the Mathematics department in collaboration with the University's Academic Development and Teaching Improvement Unit. The goal of this study was to classify key learning patterns and characteristics and relate those to student's achievements at the end of the first semester of studies in the faculties of engineering and natural sciences (STEM in general), mainly via process mining and statistical analysis. Process mining combines data mining with process modeling and analysis to discover, monitor and improve organizational processes by extracting knowledge from event logs available in the databases of organization's information systems. In this research we utilized three leading process mining tools: Disco, ProM and Celonis, combined with R for statistical analyzes. Our analysis relied on the event and selfevaluation logs of the students' online course, without disclosing their personal identity. After defining the examined population and the research method, an extensive data cleaning was carried out. We had over 25.5 thousand records reflecting 6265 students participating during 3 academic years of activities. Then, process mining tools were applied for modeling as well as identifying behavior patterns, those displayed over 1,100 variants, reflecting student behavior and diversity, Learning those patterns with process mining tools led to definition of 5 main learning patterns. Finally, the effect of the behavioral patterns during the course was examined through students' success, particularly on the average grade in the first semester of studies. The results show that 72% of the students did not use the on-line course despite recommendation, but from those who did use it, approximately half have performed most of the recommended tests (as per personal recommendation). Statistical analysis indicated that there was no distinct difference between students that studied up to 2 self-evaluation tests before abandoned and students that did not use the online course at all. However, significant correlation was found between persistence learning pattern and students' average. Students who have conducted most of the recommended tests (over 75%), achieved on the average, final score higher by 5.4 points (in 0-100 scale) than students who did not perform any tests at all. Farther statistical analysis showed that the student's behavioral pattern in the Math Proficiency online course was related to the different student characteristics. It was checked by chi-square test for independence in every learning pattern, and gender, faculty, academic year, department and student type -- all found with distinct dependence to student behavior. This study found significant relation between students' behavior on the Math Proficiency online course and their success (reflected by semester's average score) and students' characteristics. While this may help in recommending behavior to students and assessing their success prior to academic studies, it is important to note that there are many variables that influence the student's learning process during the semester. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our educational life as online classes emerged as a way to adapt for educational institutions in the new normal. This has helped in continuing to cater to the educational needs of the students to prevent the spread of the virus. Several intuitions have implemented ways on how online learning can be accessible and convenient for students. Though this has been beneficial, the concern of professors in determining what is the best factor in the experience of students with their learning capacities given the situation. With more than a year in online classes, students have voiced concerns about today’s learning platforms as it affects several factors and challenges in the magnitude of their learning. This research aims to compare the absorption of knowledge of students between face-to-face learning and online learning, in order to identify what factor results with the highest absorption of knowledge. From that, the best strategy to be used by professors can be obtained. By conducting a survey, the researchers used the obtained data from the students of Mapua University, to be able to perform various calculations, statistical and decision analyses. As a result, the factor of Interaction/Communication yielded the highest among other factors, which indicates that it should be considered by professors when conducting face-to-face learning and online learning, in order for the students to meet the maximum level of absorption of knowledge. As a conclusion, this also implies that the students were able to perform academically well whenever an interaction with their peers and classmates took place. Education about waste in schools plays a significant role in increasing students' perceptions of the environment. Previous research has suggested that students' perceptions in waste management can positively impact future generations' preparation as agents that drive changes in attitude and behavior in society. This study proposes to measure the link between facilities aspects such as internet literacy, sustainability school programs, and integrated studies of the importance of waste management and concern of waste. Then we placed the volunteer attitude variable as an endogenous variable. The respondents were 293 students from private schools in South Jakarta and its surroundings. Data samples were collected during the COVID-19 pandemic, making it possible to have low perception and attitude values. Using SEM analysis, we found that school programs showed the most substantial and significant effect among the other variables to explain students' importance of waste management perception (t-statistic = 4.221). This study illustrates that all variables in the facility's aspect can increase the attitude in a more specific context. Our experiment on the facilitation aspect did not have a significant effect on volunteer attitudes. Still, it was closely related to perceptions, thus concluding the importance of these three aspects of their schools' implementation. This research is motivated by the lack of use of instructional media SBdP content. So far the teacher only uses student books and teacher books. In addition, students still think that the scenery is a mountain, as evidenced by data from 34 students, 28 students draw a mountain when asked to draw a view. Therefore, this study aims to develop media design, determine feasibility, and test the effectiveness of the big book media. The type of research used is Research and Development with a development model developed by Sugiyono. Data collection techniques used test and non-test techniques. Based on the evaluation of expert validators, the material aspect was declared to be very feasible with a percentage of 98% and the media aspect was declared very feasible with a percentage of 89.41%. The effectiveness test uses the normality test in small groups to get the pretest and posttest values normally distributed because the value <. The N-Gain Test obtained a score of 0.696969697 with moderate criteria. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the big book media is feasible and effective to be used in SBdP learning material for drawing scenery of third grade students of SDN Tambakprogaten. The research studied the mismatch between anthropometric measurements of senior high school and college students of Mapúa University to the current classroom chair design being used. Each of the two levels was split into two based on sex. In total there were 4 groups compared; the data comprised of SHS male, SHS female, college male, and college female. After performing the Anderson-Darling normality test and one-way ANOVA, the researchers determined that the anthropometric measurements of SHS and college students significantly differ, therefore, two ergonomic classroom chairs were needed separately for the two groups. In performing the mismatch analysis, it was found that the majority of the SHS students and college students have a high mismatch in terms of seat height. The existing seat height of the classroom chair is too high for the students. a proposed design of the chair was then made. In comparing the mismatch of the existing dimensions to the proposed classroom chair, it was found out that the recommended seat height, seat depth, seat width, backrest height, and armrest height improved the overall design of the chair fitted for the majority of the users. The same goes with the backrest height, it was found that the existing chair design is too high for the users. Given this condition, the researchers were able to propose a new dimension for classroom chairs using the anthropometric measurements gathered from the SHS and college students of Mapua University. The mismatch analysis of the proposed chair proved that the recommended seat height, seat depth, seat width, backrest height, and armrest height improved the overall design of the chair fitted for the majority of the users. This summary provides an overview of the project methodology utilized in the Modeling and Simulation of Industrial Systems course, which is offered in the final year of the Industrial Engineering Program at Fayoum University's Faculty of Engineering in Egypt. The course covers a range of topics, including Simulation Modeling Methodology, Queuing Models, Monte-Carlo Simulation, Spreadsheet Simulation, Discrete-Event Simulation, Input Modeling and Output Analysis, as well as Verification and Validation of Simulation Models. Additionally, students gain practical experience and ability in a specialized discrete-event simulation package as an integral part of the course. Given the challenges faced by developing countries in accessing industrial systems that provide real data for simulation studies in mini-course projects, it became necessary to explore innovative approaches to implement simulation projects, primarily utilizing the available educational resources within the faculty and engaging students actively. One such method employed in this project involved students conducting practical simulation experiments on virtual manufacturing systems (Physical Simulation), using these experiments to gather the necessary data for simulation studies. This approach enables students to identify the stochastic characteristics of real systems and the factors influencing their performance. It also allows them to observe existing issues and proposed solutions, which can be tested through simulation modeling prior to real-world application. Additionally, this approach facilitates the acquisition of fundamental principles and concepts associated with lean manufacturing, as well as the design and analysis of industrial systems. In the mentioned course, a simplified assembly line, requiring minimal resources, was proposed for implementation, and physically simulated by the students in the program's laboratories. The assembly line consisted of four consecutive production processes. Four student groups were formed, each assigned specific tasks and deliverables shared among the groups. The first group was responsible for conducting physical simulation experiments, recording the experiments via video to facilitate data collection and time study analysis. The experiment was designed to yield a sufficient sample size for statistical analysis. The primary outcome of this group was the experiment video, which was then handed over to the second group. The second group's task involved gathering data on the production time for each process. The second group collected and analyzed the data, determining the probability distribution of production time for each process on the assembly line, representing the probabilistic inputs to the simulation model. Subsequently, the second group prepared a report on the statistical analysis results and passed it on to the third and fourth groups. The third and fourth groups utilized a simulation program to develop the simulation model and conducted the necessary simulation experiments to ensure the model's validity and accuracy. Furthermore, a series of simulation experiments were conducted to test some proposed improvement scenarios for the original assembly line's performance. Each group prepared a report summarizing the outcomes of their respective simulation experiments. Finally, an evaluation for the outcomes of the different groups was conducted through the course instructor. This project provided students with a valuable opportunity to apply the simulation modeling methodology and the theoretical concepts covered in the course in a practical context. As a result, students gained the necessary skills to apply simulation modeling to the analysis of real-world industrial systems. Throughout the project, students also gained proficiency in various computer programs such as Minitab, Stat::Fit, SIMUL8, Anylogic, and Excel. Additionally, they developed effective communication skills, learned how to work collaboratively in teams, and mastered the skills of coordinating tasks among different teams, replicating real work environments. The students' evaluation of the experiment was positive, highlighting its usefulness in enhancing their understanding of theoretical topics and their practical application. In recent past, selection of professional institute in India is becoming a strategic issue for a student to get higher education in professional courses. Selection of the right institution should be based on multicriteria decision-making methods for smart decisions. Five to ten years back, the selection of the professional institutions was less strategic in the absence of ordinal data because of less number of professional institutes were in India. In this work, for selection of best professional institute among a large number of alternatives, we applied multi-criteria decision-making technique with a group of decision makers along with ordinal data of given alternatives. Initially, we aggregated the ordinal data of different choices with each criterion from the binary programming tool. After that, we have the final rankings of various alternatives derived from their group rankings by binary programming along with the criteria weights. With an illustrative case of having five decision makers, five professional institutes and three criteria named as Placement, Infrastructure and faculty profile we have shown the effectiveness of this model. A preliminary study involving school students aged 12-18 years attempted to test whether there is difference in attitudes towards road safety between Arab and non-Arab respondents. The sampled participants were categorized according to age group, ethnicity and type of school they attend. Responses on their perceived driving ability, basic road safety knowledge and their willingness to participate in a common road safety campaign were analyzed. The results show that Arab students of pre-driving age tend to perceive that they have the skills to drive and showed poorer attitude towards road safety than non-Arab students. Older students of Arab origin and in public schools are more likely not to participate in road safety campaigns as compared to the younger age group of non-Arab origin and in private schools. Attitude change interventions that is appealing to pre-drivers of Arab origin studying in public school could be more effective strategy to raise the road safety awareness in par with the rest of the residents. Carefully designed contents for driving simulators that convey interactive road safety lessons and Variable Message Signs (VMS) can be considered and maximize effectiveness of road safety campaigns.
