The paper presents the results of research on the developed mudguard system in trucks and buses with the "clogging free" function, allowing for the effective removal of snow and slush from the mud flap (apron). It has been shown that the obtained results constitute the achievement of product innovation on a global scale, as there are currently no solutions with documented functionality in this field globally. Innovative technology for the production of car mud flaps based on secondary raw materials (recycled) was developed, based on several modules, incl. a plastic extrusion module with a plasticizing section - forming sheets/a wide "web" of material, a module for creating a developed splash surface, and developing technology for producing projections - containing a cylinder in the form of a cylinder with several thousand protruding pins-pins. Recycled plastics were used for the production of the mud flap. Material recycling is currently one of the most effective methods of recycling, as it allows obtaining recycled plastics with favorable mechanical and usage properties while maintaining a relatively low energy expenditure. The results of the work show the positive impact of the solutions proposed by the authors on the environment, thanks to the use of recycled and reusable polymer recyclates in the polymer mixture used in the production of mud flaps greater than before. In summary, it has been proven that the designed system, in addition to meeting the water spray dispersion requirements compliant with all vehicles, is also equipped with anti-spray devices for snow and slush removal. The world is moving towards non-fossil fuel-powered cars due to limited supplies and environmental risks in the form of pollution and global warming. Automotive industries have shifted their research and development from mechanically designed powertrain system to the into electrically operational vehicles. This drawback has created the need to develop automotive electrification projects and emerging technologies for advance combination of both propulsion systems known as hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) or combined source electric vehicle. Hybrid Electric Vehicle is the first success of the front running solution like today. Almost all-Hybrid Electric Vehicles are primarily battery powered. Although there are zero emissions, in order to have an efficient, optimal, safe, and long-lasting battery system, it is necessary to keep the temperature of the battery system within the specified limits. HEVs are developed under global protocols to increase vehicle fuel efficiency and minimize vehicle emissions. Such combined system has changed from their emergent state and into the optimistic solution that can solve environmental problem facing planet earth. To date, we do not have any algorithm capable of predicting the SOH of all types of batteries by monitoring the parameters over time. There is a strong need for a solution in the form of a control algorithm/program, which can optimize the operation of the battery cooling system for maximum battery life with minimum power consumption. Hence, the paper highlighted a special algorithm/pattern that shows repeated performance control for the best efficiency and long life of HEV batteries. In addition, MATLAB & PSIM Simulink software is used for this new solution for all battery system parameters to be monitored and optimized AI-based algorithms can be used to control the cooling system of the high voltage batteries used in HEV. The increasing rate of population growth in Indonesia has resulted in an increase in the rate of energy demand each year. Indonesia has the potential for quite abundant energy sources, one of which is the potential for water energy. The po-tential of water energy is one of the most widely used renewable energy sources and provides a sizeable contribution in the world. Micro hydro and picohydro power plants are quite popular in various countries and are considered suitable for application in remote areas that have a potential source of water energy. The Gravitational Water Vortex Power Plant (GWVPP) is a micro-hydro power plant for low-head and low-flow applications. GWVPP was first developed by Franz Zotlöterer since 2006 to produce surface runoff created in an open space with an orifice located at the bottom of the basin resulting in a water vortex. This paper presents a theoretical review, performance evaluation, and findings of previous research on GWVPP. GWVPP is a relatively new technology in micro hydro power generation. GWVPP works by means of a water vortex induced by a gravitational force which is then absorbed by a Gravitational Water Vortex Turbine (GWVT) which is connected to a generator to produce electricity. In GWVT the water energy hits the blade at the same time, so the active area of the blade is relatively larger. The average efficiency of this GWVT is 53%. Various experimental studies as well as numerical simulations on turbine design and parameters have been carried out to improve their efficiency. Further research is still being carried out by researchers to get the most optimal efficiency. The implementation of investment and construction projects that meet the goals of sustainable development should be based on the use of digital innovative technologies that allow, already at the design and pre-design stage, to lay down and comply with special requirements for resource efficiency, energy consumption, environmental friendliness and zero waste of construction facilities. The ongoing implementation of information modeling technology into the practice of construction activities in order to achieve the goals and performance criteria should be implemented on the basis of the theory of diffusion of innovations with the creation of a point of innovative growth. The paper proposes an approach to creating points of innovative growth and assessing their impact on the diffusion of innovations in the process of digitalization of the life cycle of a construction object. Taking into account the differentiated risks of introducing information modeling technology, the process of choosing the optimal mechanism for introducing technologies with minimal costs and minimizing the loss function on the basis of graph theory has been substantiated. The result of the application of the proposed approach was the schematization of the diffusion process of digital technologies in construction in the targeted focus of the complete digital transformation. The proposed approach is implemented using the example of digitalization of management processes of a large construction holding. The results of the study indicate the effectiveness of the proposed methods and models, as well as the feasibility of introducing innovative digital technologies in construction to achieve sustainable development goals. The paper examines the situation in the energy sector, new challenges that bring about the current trends in energy supply, the emergence of a market for innovative technologies, and information and telecommunication achievements that contribute to the creation of future energy systems. It also outlines the conceptual provisions and technological architecture of emerging intelligent integrated systems. The energy systems under transformation will have a multidimensional structure of functional features and properties of development; combine multicomponent nature, intelligence, efficiency, reliability, controllability, flexible use of technologies for energy transformation, storage, and consumption involving load control by consumers. Energy is the fundamental need of every living organism to carry out various processes internally (metabolic process) and externally. For years together sources like coal, diesel, petrol have been used to generate electrical energy. In the perspective of power generation need, focus on renewable energy sources has to be enhanced so as to suffice the future generation energy demand. During recent years, Microbial fuel cell technology seems to be the most emerging technology in the renewable field. It includes biological production of electricity in the presence of bacteria, substrates and some chemical solution. Cleaner and more sustainable energy alternatives are needed as oil prices rise and environmental concerns grow. Transportation currently consumes a significant amount of energy and emits pollutants. This article examines hybrid vehicle development using a Power Split setup with an ICE and a battery. The efficiency of a HEV is evaluated using a battery with a greater amp-hour capacity. The adapter circuit is used in the advanced condition to lower the battery capacity. Various situations have been detected with various battery discharging and charging circuits. HEV are renowned for their capacity to match the capability of a normal car while significantly reducing fuel consumption and pollutants. The automotive industry is becoming increasingly interested in EVs and PHEVs. Thanks to developments in energy storage devices, power electronics adapters such as Direct current converters, DC to AC inverters, and battery power systems, electrical equipment, and efficient energy voltage control techniques. Lightweight design is a major driving force of innovation, especially in the automotive industry. Using hybrid components made of two or more different materials is one approach to reduce the vehicles weight and decrease fuel consumption. As a possible way to increase the stiffness of multi-material components, this paper presents a process chain to produce such components made of steel sheets and high-pressure die cast aluminium. Prior to the casting sequence the steel sheets are structured in a modified rolling process which enables continuous interlocking with the aluminium. Two structures manufactured by this rolling process are tested. The first one is a channel like structure and the second one is a channel like structure with undercuts. These undercuts enable the formation of small anchors when the molten aluminium fills them. The correlation between thickness reduction during rolling and the shape of the resulting structure was evaluated for both structures. It can be stated that channels with a depth of up to 0.5 mm and a width of 1 mm could be created. Undercuts with different size depending on the thickness reduction could be realised. Subsequent aluminium high-pressure die casting experiments were performed to determine if the surface structure can be filled gap-free with molten aluminium during the casting sequence and if a gap-free connection can be achieved after contraction of the aluminium. The casting experiments showed that both structures could be filled during the highpressure die casting. The channel like structure results in a gap between steel and aluminium after contraction of the cast metal whereas the structure with undercuts leads to a good interlocking resulting in a gap-free connection. Advances in communications and control technology, the strengthening of the Internet, and the growing appreciation of the urgency to reduce demand side energy use are motivating the development of improvements in both energy efficiency and demand response (DR) systems in buildings. This paper provides a framework linking continuous energy management and continuous communications for automated demand response (Auto-DR) in various times scales. We provide a set of concepts for monitoring and controls linked to standards and procedures such as Open Automation Demand Response Communication Standards (OpenADR). Basic building energy science and control issues in this approach begin with key building components, systems, end-uses and whole building energy performance metrics. The paper presents a framework about when energy is used, levels of services by energy using systems, granularity of control, and speed of telemetry. DR, when defined as a discrete event, requires a different set of building service levels than daily operations. We provide examples of lessons from DR case studies and links to energy efficiency. Photovoltaic technology has reached a point where its cost and capability make it one of a handful of carbon-free sources of electrical energy that could meet a meaningful fraction of US energy demand. In this paper we will first compare Photovoltaics with several other carbon free energy technologies, then look at the economics of Solyndra's rooftop photovoltaic solution as an example of the current state of the art, as well as the market dynamics that have resulted in dramatically faster adoption in Germany vs. the United States.
