Objective To discuss the feasibility of directly processing paper-based ECG by using deep learning method, and to propose a method for identifying atrial fibrillation ( AF) from paper-based ECG rapidly and accurately. Methods The 12-lead ECG signals of 1 040 AF and 1 344 non-AF patients were selected from CPSC 2018 Challenge data, and were plotted as ECGs. These ECGs were printed out on papers, and rescanned into images. The paper-based ECGs with white background were obtained by a series of preprocessing. These paper-based ECGs were used to construct AF recognition dataset; the artificial intelligence algorithm (AIA) was trained, validated and tested using the real labels provided by the Challenge as the gold standard. Results The sensitivity, specificity and F1 score of the AIA based on paper-based ECGs are 0. 957, 0. 978 and 0. 969, respectively, and the area under receiver operating characteristic curve is 0. 994. The Grad-CAM based feature visualization results show that in paper-based ECGs, the position of P wave and F wave at the onset of AF provide main references for the algorithm to identify AF, which is consistent with the ECG diagnostic criteria of AF in clinical practice. Conclusion The AF recognition algorithm based on paper-based ECGs shows good performance. The visualization results verify the high efficiency and feasibility of directly analyzing paper-based ECGs by using AIA, which could provide guidance for clinical practice. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

With the continuous development of informatization, digitalization and artificial intelligence technology, the working mode of the pathology department has gradually changed from the traditional manual check, paper circulation and physical carrier storage to the informatization process and digital storage. The traditional pathology discipline has ushered in unprecedented opportunities and challenges. Digital pathology department also emerge as the times require. Simultaneously, with the full integration of artificial intelligence technology in pathology department, the concept of "department of digital and intelligentialized pathology" was proposed. Based on information and digital technology, the digital intelligent pathology department integrates intelligent management system, optimizes the previous cumbersome management and workflow of the pathology department, develops advanced technologies such as intelligent material extraction, unmanned organization processing, artificial intelligence quality control, artificial intelligence diagnosis, and promotes the intelligent construction of the pathology department.

The food security of China as a big agricultural country is attracting increasing attention. With the progress in the traditional Chinese medicine industry, Chinese medicinal materials and their preparations have been gradually developed as agents for disease prevention and with antimicrobial and insecticidal functions in agriculture. Promoting pesticide innovation by interdisciplinary integration has become the trend in pesticide research globally. Considering the increasingly important roles of green pesticides from traditional Chinese medicines and artificial intelligence in pest target prediction, this paper proposed an innovative green control strategy in line with the concepts of ecological sustainable development and food security protection. CiteSpace was used for visual analysis of the publications. The results showed that artificial intelligence had been extensively applied in the pesticide field in recent years. This paper explores the application and development of biopesticides for the first time, with focus on the plant-derived pesticides. The thought of traditional Chinese medicine compatibility can be employed to creat a new promosing field: pesticides from traditional Chinese medicine. Moreover, artificial intelligence can be employed to build the formulation system of pesticides from traditional Chinese medicines and the target prediction system of diseases and pests. This study provides new ideas for the future development and market application of biopesticides, aiming to provide more healthy and safe agricultural products for human beings, promote the innovation and development of green pesticides in China, and protect the sustainable development of the environment and ecosystem. This may be the research hotspot and competition point for the green development of the pesticide industry chain in the future.

As an effective representation of knowledge, knowledge graph network can be used to represent rich factual information between different categories and become an effective knowledge management tool. It has achieved great results in the application and research of knowledge engineering and artificial intelligence. Knowledge graph is usually expressed as a complex network structure. Its unstructured characteristics make the application of graph neural network to the analysis and research of knowledge graph become a research hotspot in academia. The purpose of this paper is to provide extensive research on knowledge graph construction technology based on graph neural network to solve two types of knowledge graph construction tasks, including knowledge extraction (entity, relationship and attribute extraction) and knowledge merging and processing (link prediction, entity alignment and knowledge reasoning, etc.). Through these tasks, the structure of knowledge graph can be further improved and new knowledge and reasoning relationships can be discovered. This paper also studies the advanced graph neural network method for knowledge graph related applications, such as recommendation system, question answering system and computer vision. The development of digital technology has accelerated the transformation of financial online payment methods, bringing convenience to payment but also increasing the hidden dangers of fraudulent transactions. Antifraud research is particularly essential to protect users' property and prevent financial crises. With the advancement of data governance and sharing technology, digital payment transaction data present new characteristics of massive, multi-source and heterogeneous. Integrating data intelligence technology based on big data and artificial intelligence into anti-fraud research has important theoretical research significance. The digital credit payment model formed by the full combination of credit card payment and digital payment has the most mature data accumulation and theoretical basis at present, providing the most ideal data resources and theoretical support for the research of anti-fraud models. Starting from the concept, this paper firstly introduces the definition, research difficulties, and data framework of the digital credit anti-fraud research problem in combination with the actual business scenarios in China. Secondly, based on the modeling strategy, the frontier progress of digital credit transaction anti-fraud research is reviewed from two aspects of data balance and model optimization. This paper focuses on the theoretical basis, applicable scenarios, and latest achievements of various machine learning algorithms and deep learning algorithms in anti-fraud research, and based on the above content, a comprehensive evaluation is made. Finally, combined with the research status and from the perspective of demand, this paper summarizes the three major hotspots including the generalization and interpretability of anti-fraud research, and the sensitivity to new fraudulent transaction models, and concludes with an outlook on future research directions. For the increasing number of patients with depression, this paper proposes an artificial intelligence method to effectively identify depression through voice signals, with the aim of improving the efficiency of diagnosis and treatment. Firstly, a pre-training model called wav2vec 2.0 is fine-tuned to encode and contextualize the speech, thereby obtaining high-quality voice features. This model is applied to the publicly available dataset - the distress analysis interview corpus-wizard of OZ (DAIC-WOZ). The results demonstrate a precision rate of 93.96%, a recall rate of 94.87%, and an F1 score of 94.41% for the binary classification task of depression recognition, resulting in an overall classification accuracy of 96.48%. For the four-class classification task evaluating the severity of depression, the precision rates are all above 92.59%, the recall rates are all above 92.89%, the F1 scores are all above 93.12%, and the overall classification accuracy is 94.80%. The research findings indicate that the proposed method effectively enhances classification accuracy in scenarios with limited data, exhibiting strong performance in depression identification and severity evaluation. In the future, this method has the potential to serve as a valuable supportive tool for depression diagnosis.

Colorectal cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors worldwide. Due to the heterogeneity in patient outcomes and treatment responses to standard therapy regimens, personalized diagnostic and therapeutic strategies have remained a focus of sustained interest in research. In recent years, with the rapid progression of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the medical field, an abundance of phased research results has emerged in the decision-making for preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative diagnostic and therapeutic plans for colorectal cancer, demonstrating great potential for application. This new and efficient solution provides for the personalized evaluations and auxiliary diagnoses and treatments of patients with colorectal cancer. In the future, AI systems may continue to advance towards multimodal, multi-omics, and real-time directions. This paper aims to explore the current state of research on the multi-faceted auxiliary applications of AI in the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer, as well as to present a prospective view of the innovations that AI technology could bring to personalized colorectal cancer treatment in the future and the challenges it may face.

Sepsis is caused by infection, which can ultimately lead to multiple organ dysfunction and even life-threatening. Early recognition and early treatment can significantly improve the prognosis of sepsis patients. However, the effect of using a single biomarker for early diagnosis of sepsis is still not ideal. In recent years, researchers have turned their attention to artificial intelligence technology for early diagnosis of sepsis. This paper briefly introduces the advantages and disadvantages of sepsis related inflammatory indicators, biomarkers, and scoring systems of disease severity for early identification of sepsis, and focuses on the research progress and limitations of artificial intelligence technology for early diagnosis of sepsis, aiming to seek new methods and ideas for early diagnosis of sepsis.

In light of the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), the future of the nursing profession is expected to be closely intertwined with AI applications. The rise of Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) exemplified by ChatGPT heralds the arrival of a new era of AI, which will inevitably reshape the way people interact with information. In this evolving landscape, information literacy education in colleges is set to experience a profound restructuring of its content frameworks and instructional models. This paper provides a review of research and teaching practices related to information literacy education in the context of AIGC both domestically and internationally. It delves into the advantages and limitations of AIGC and examines the opportunities and challenges which poses to the field of information literacy education. Building on this analysis, the paper proposes innovative ideas for the advancement of information literacy education, encompassing two dimensions: the enrichment of instructional content and the transformation of teaching methods. At present, the Ukraine crisis has triggered the accelerated evolution of the world geopolitical pattern. Trade frictions and the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic have increased the risk of rupture of the global industrial chain. In this context, countries have shifted from pursuing “efficiency” of the industrial chain to emphasizing both “efficiency and security”, and the issue of industrial chain resilience and security has been raised to unprecedented new heights. Improving the resilience of the industrial chain is a key component in promoting high-quality development and maintaining national security. Based on the multi-regional input-output table(ADB-MRIO)compiled by the Asian Development Bank, this paper calculates the resilience of the industry chain, then combines it with industrial robots data provided by the International Federation of Robotics(IFR)to deeply explore the impact and mechanism of artificial intelligence on the resilience of the industry chain. The study shows that:(1)overall, artificial intelligence can significantly improve the resilience of the industry chain. This result is still significantly valid under robustness tests such as dealing with endogenous problems, changing variables, changing sample range, and changing estimation methods.(2)The mechanism test results show that the effects of technological innovation and governance system optimization are the internal mechanisms for AI to enhance the resilience of the industrial chain.(3)The heterogeneity analysis shows that at the national level, artificial intelligence has a more significant impact on enhancing the resilience of industrial chain in developed countries and countries with higher levels of digital infrastructure penetration. At the industry level, compared to low tech manufacturing, artificial intelligence plays a more prominent role in enhancing the resilience of the industrial chain in mid to high tech manufacturing.(4)When considering the impact of the 2008 financial crisis, we also find that the financial crisis has weakened the positive effect of artificial intelligence on the resilience of the industrial chain. This paper contributes to the existing literature in three aspects. First, in terms of research issues, this paper provides a possible path to effectively improve the resilience of the industrial chain from the perspective of artificial intelligence, and further enriches the research on the determinants of industrial chain resilience. At the same time, we also put forward the internal mechanism of artificial intelligence to improve the resilience of the industrial chain, that is, artificial intelligence will affect the resilience of the industrial chain through two possible channels: technological innovation effect and governance system optimization effect. Second, in terms of index construction, based on the analysis of industrial chain resilience in the International Monetary Fund's World Economic Outlook Report, this paper uses the input-output method to construct the index of industrial chain resilience at the country-industry level from the perspective of intermediate input diversification, providing empirical evidence for accurately identifying the industrial chain resilience in various industries and countries. Third, in terms of research data, this paper manually links the multi-regional input-output table(ADB-MRIO)and the International Federation of Robotics(IFR)to form the dataset needed for this research. In addition, the sample interval of this study is from 2007 to 2019. Hepatic encephalopathy is a clinical syndrome of central nervous system dysfunction caused by liver insufficiency. It severely affects the quality of life of patients and may lead to death. Accurate prediction of the risk of developing hepatic encephalopathy is crucial for early intervention and treatment. In order to identify the risk of hepatic encephalopathy in patients in advance, many studies have been devoted to efforts to develop tools and methods to identify the risk of hepatic encephalopathy as early as possible, so as to develop preventive and early management strategies. Most conventional hepatic encephalopathy risk prediction models currently assess the probability of a patient developing hepatic encephalopathy by analysing factors such as clinical data and biochemical indicators, however, their accuracy, sensitivity and positive predictive value are not high. The application of artificial intelligence to clinical predictive modelling is a very hot and promising area, which can use large amounts of data and complex algorithms to improve the accuracy and efficiency of diagnosis and prognosis. To date, there have been few studies using AI techniques to predict hepatic encephalopathy. Therefore, this paper reviews the research progress of hepatic encephalopathy risk prediction models, and also discusses the prospect of AI application in hepatic encephalopathy risk prediction models. It also points out the challenges and future research directions of AI in HE risk prediction model research in order to promote the development and clinical application of hepatic encephalopathy risk prediction models. Roll forming is a plastic processing technology that gradually bends metal strips and sheets laterally using sequentially arranged forming dies. Due to its low cost, high efficiency, and flexibility, it has become one of the important technologies for light weighting, energy saving, emission reduction, and safety improvement in various fields such as new energy, aerospace, and rail transportation in China. However, the complexity and discreteness of the process, uneven material thickness properties, and low level of equipment informatization and flexibility automation have made it similar to a “black box”, making it difficult to predict product quality, highly dependent on manual experience for production debugging, limited in formable cross sections, and unstable in yield. Therefore, this paper proposes a data-driven intelligent roll forming equipment (system) and introduces in detail its technical architecture and characteristics. By building a data architecture based on artificial intelligence, this system collects, screens, integrates, stores, and analyzes discrete data in traditional roll forming. Meanwhile, it integrates digital twins, artificial intelligence, contour detection technology, and multi-agent collaborative control to construct a self-correcting production mode that can replace manual experience. For the new energy vehicle industry, this paper provides a case study of using this system to solve springback control of structural components of roll-formed battery packs. [Purpose/Significance] In recent years, the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has become an international research hotspot. Embedding ChatGPT-like AI system in libraries will lead to a new direction for the development of their intelligent services, which is a necessary choice to improve the library service level, optimize service efficiency and promote service model innovation. It is also an important measure to adapt to the development trend of the information age, which brings new opportunities and challenges to the information and digital construction of libraries. This article aims to explore the realization path of ChatGPT to help libraries provide intelligent services, provide theoretical reference and practical basis for the intelligent service by libraries, and promote the construction of library intelligent service system. [Method/Process] By reviewing the relevant literature at home and abroad, on the basis of summarizing the core technology of ChatGPT, and studying the practical application cases of some domestic libraries, this article analyzes the application scenarios and directions in which ChatGPT can support library services, explains the current limitations of this technology and the threats and challenges it poses to libraries and librarians, and thus proposes corresponding strategies. [Results/Conclusions] ChatGPT technology will further optimize the knowledge service system of libraries and improve the intelligent service capability of libraries. It brings vitality to the libraries, but also brings threats and challenges. Librarians should grasp the integration capabilities of humans and AI in time, and make full use of their unique advantages. Libraries should strengthen the capacity building of their smart services oriented to ChatGPT, innovate the mode and mechanism of their smart services, and rely on ChatGPT to build a smart service platform, provide smart service resources, build a sound service system, build a service team, and improve the level of their smart services. Continuous efforts should be made to promote the in-depth development of smart library services, so as to meet the diversified and personalized information needs of library readers. To this end, this paper makes a preliminary exploration on the opportunities, challenges and development strategies of enabling smart services in libraries through ChatGPT. Due to the limited conditions, only some practices of domestic libraries are explored, and no cases of international libraries are introduced, which has certain limitations and needs to be improved in future studies. [Purpose/Significance] Talent data have become the most important production factor and strategic resource. Building a scientific and technological (S&T) talent database has become an inevitable way to narrow the digital divide and accelerate the digital and intelligent transformation of talent work. Therefore, this study builds an S&T talent database to promote scientific decision-making for talent development, precision in attracting new quality technical talent, reform in evaluating S&T talents, and building talent system for new quality productive forces. [Method/Process] By analyzing the practical requirements and significance of building an S&T talent database, this study first explores and analyzes the intrinsic logic of promoting the development of new quality productive forces through an S&T talent database. It then summarizes the challenges facing the current construction of a S&T talent database, including the scattering and concealment of S&T talent data, the lack of policies and standardized systems for S&T talent data, the inadequate exploration of value-added S&T talent data, the need to expand the application of digital technology in talent work, and the security risks of S&T talent data. In response to these challenges, this paper finally proposes the idea of building an S&T talents database, and introduces the research exploration and application practice on it, including the construction of big data database for S&T talent aimed at the development of new quality productive forces, the development of AI-powered talent data computing engine, research into the system for profiling new quality technical talent, the analysis of talent growth paths for the training of new quality technical talent, the identification method of new quality talented professionals based on big data, the development of an efficient digital platform for talent management, and the development of a strategic analysis platform for technical talent. [Results/Conclusions] The construction of S&T talent database is an objective requirement for the development of the digital era and an inevitable requirement for the formation of new quality productive forces. Building big data for S&T talent, empowering talent workflow with big data and artificial intelligence technology can help empower talent workflow, release the enormous energy contained in digitalization, effectively activate the internal momentum of talented professionals, institutions, society, and government, and then continuously improve the efficiency of talent resource allocation, the operational efficiency of talent work, the overall effectiveness of talent development governance, and promote the development of new quality productive forces.
