Abstract Background The Testis is an important reproductive organ in male mammals and the site for spermatogenesis, androgen synthesis, and secretion. Non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) play an important regulatory role in various biological processes. However, the regulatory role of ncRNAs in the development of yak testes and spermatogenesis remains largely unclear. Result In this study, we compared the expression profiles of circular RNAs (circRNAs), microRNAs (miRNAs), and messenger RNAs (mRNAs) in yak testicular tissue samples collected at 6 months (Y6M), 18 months (Y18M), and 4 years (Y4Y). Using RNA sequencing (RNA-Seq), we observed a significant difference in the expression patterns of ncRNAs in the samples collected at different testicular development stages. Twenty-two differentially expressed (DE) circRNAs, 69 DE miRNAs, and 64 DE mRNAs were detected in Y6M, Y18M, and Y4Y testicular samples, respectively. The results of gene ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analyses showed that the source genes of DE circRNAs, predicted target genes of DE miRNAs, and DE mRNAs were specifically associated with signaling pathways and GO terms that were related to sperm synthesis, sperm vitality, and testicular development, such as cell cycle, Wnt signaling pathway, MAPK signaling pathway, GnRH signaling pathway, and spermatogenesis. The analysis of the circRNA-miRNA-mRNA network revealed that some DE ncRNAs, including miR-574, miR-449a, CDC42, and CYP11A1, among others, may be involved in testicular spermatogenesis. Concurrently, various circRNA-miRNA interaction pairs were observed. Conclusion Our findings provide a database of circRNAs, miRNAs, and mRNAs expression profiles in testicular tissue of yaks at different developmental stages and a detailed understanding of the regulatory network of ncRNAs in yak testicular development and provide data that can help elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying yak testicular development.

Extensive research underscores the notable participation of circRNAs associated with the Wnt pathway in the progression of digestive system tumors. These circRNAs exhibit pronounced dysregulation across esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, liver cancer, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, and cholangiocarcinoma. Furthermore, the altered expression of circRNAs linked to the Wnt pathway correlates with prognostic factors in digestive system tumors. Additionally, circRNAs related to the Wnt pathway showcase potential as diagnostic, therapeutic, and prognostic markers within the realm of digestive system tumors. This comprehensive review outlines the interplay between circRNAs and the Wnt signaling pathway in cancers of the digestive system. It seeks to provide a comprehensive perspective on their association while delving into ongoing research that explores the clinical applications of circRNAs associated with the Wnt pathway.

Cancer cells exhibit altered metabolic pathways, prominently featuring enhanced glycolytic activity to sustain their rapid growth and proliferation. Dysregulation of glycolysis is a well-established hallmark of cancer and contributes to tumor progression and resistance to therapy. Increased glycolysis supplies the energy necessary for increased proliferation and creates an acidic milieu, which in turn encourages tumor cells' infiltration, metastasis, and chemoresistance. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) have emerged as pivotal players in diverse biological processes, including cancer development and metabolic reprogramming. The interplay between circRNAs and glycolysis is explored, illuminating how circRNAs regulate key glycolysis-associated genes and enzymes, thereby influencing tumor metabolic profiles. In this overview, we highlight the mechanisms by which circRNAs regulate glycolytic enzymes and modulate glycolysis. In addition, we discuss the clinical implications of dysregulated circRNAs in cancer glycolysis, including their potential use as diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers. All in all, in this overview, we provide the most recent findings on how circRNAs operate at the molecular level to control glycolysis in various types of cancer, including hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), prostate cancer (PCa), colorectal cancer (CRC), cervical cancer (CC), glioma, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), breast cancer, and gastric cancer (GC). In conclusion, this review provides a comprehensive overview of the significance of circRNAs in cancer glycolysis, shedding light on their intricate roles in tumor development and presenting innovative therapeutic avenues.

Cancer is a broad name for a group of diseases in which abnormal cells grow out of control and are characterized by their complexity and recurrence. Although there has been progress in cancer therapy with the entry of precision medicine and immunotherapy, cancer incidence rates have increased globally. Non-coding RNAs in the form of circular RNAs (circRNAs) play crucial roles in the pathogenesis, clinical diagnosis, and therapy of different diseases, including cancer. According to recent studies, circRNAs appear to serve as accurate indicators and therapeutic targets for cancer treatment. However, circRNAs are promising candidates for cutting-edge cancer therapy because of their distinctive circular structure, stability, and wide range of capabilities; many challenges persist that decrease the applications of circRNA-based cancer therapeutics. Here, we explore the roles of circRNAs as a replacement for cancer therapy, highlight the main challenges facing circRNA-based cancer therapies, and discuss the key strategies to overcome these challenges to improve advanced innovative therapies based on circRNAs with long-term health effects.

Abstract Circular RNAs (circRNAs) possess unique biological properties and distribution characteristics that enable a variety of biological functions. N6-methyladenosine (m6A), a prevalent epigenetic modification in organisms, is regulated by factors including methyltransferases (writers), demethylases (erasers), and m6A-binding proteins (readers). These factors play critical roles in various pathophysiological processes. There is growing evidence that m6A modifications are common within circRNAs, affecting their synthesis, translation, translocation, degradation, and stability. Additionally, circRNAs regulate biological processes that influence m6A modifications. This review explores the metabolism and functions of m6A modifications and circRNAs, their interactions, and their specific regulatory mechanisms in different tumors, offering insights into m6A-circRNA interaction in cancer.

As the deadliest type of primary brain tumor, gliomas represent a significant worldwide health concern. Circular RNA (circRNA), a unique non-coding RNA molecule, seems to be one of the most alluring target molecules involved in the pathophysiology of many kinds of cancers. CircRNAs have been identified as prospective targets and biomarkers for the diagnosis and treatment of numerous disorders, particularly malignancies. Recent research has established a clinical link between temozolomide (TMZ) resistance and certain circRNA dysregulations in glioma tumors. CircRNAs may play a therapeutic role in controlling or overcoming TMZ resistance in gliomas and may provide guidance for a novel kind of individualized glioma therapy. To address the biological characteristics of circRNAs and their potential to induce resistance to TMZ, this review has highlighted and summarized the possible roles that circRNAs may play in molecular pathways of drug resistance, including the Ras/Raf/ERK PI3K/Akt signaling pathway and metabolic processes in gliomas.

Lung cancer remains one of the most prevalent and lethal malignancies globally, characterized by high incidence and mortality rates among all cancers. The delayed diagnosis of lung cancer at intermediate to advanced stages frequently leads to suboptimal treatment outcomes. To improve the management of this disease, it is imperative to identify new, highly sensitive prognostic and diagnostic biomarkers. Exosomes, extracellular vesicles with a lipid-bilayer structure and a size range of 30–150 nm, are pivotal in intercellular communication and play significant roles in lung cancer progression. Non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs), including long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) and circular RNAs (circRNAs), are highly prevalent within exosomes and play a crucial role in various pathophysiological processes mediated by these extracellular vesicles. Beyond their established functions in miRNA and protein sequestration, these ncRNAs are involved in regulating translation and interactions within exosomes. Numerous studies have highlighted the importance of exosomal lncRNAs and circRNAs in influencing epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), angiogenesis, proliferation, invasion, migration, and metastasis in lung cancer. Due to their unique functional characteristics, these molecules are promising therapeutic targets and biomarkers for diagnosis and prognosis. This review provides a succinct summary of the formation of exosomal lncRNAs and circRNAs, clarifies their biological roles, and thoroughly explains the mechanisms by which they participate in the progression of lung cancer. Finally, we discuss the potential clinical applications and challenges associated with exosomal lncRNAs and circRNAs in lung cancer.

Our comprehensive investigation begins by profiling circRNA expression patterns in diverse cancer types, revealing a repertoire of circRNAs intricately linked to the TGF-β pathway. Through integrated bioinformatics analyses and functional experiments, we elucidate the specific circRNA-mRNA interactions that modulate TGF-β signalling, unveiling the regulatory controls governing this crucial pathway. Furthermore, we provide compelling evidence of the impact of circRNA-mediated TGF-β modulation on key cellular processes, including epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), migration, and cell proliferation. In addition to their mechanistic roles, circRNAs have shown promise as diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers, as well as potential molecular targets for cancer therapy. Their ability to modulate critical pathways, such as the TGF-β signalling axis, underscores their significance in cancer biology and clinical applications. The intricate interplay between circRNAs and TGF-β is dissected, uncovering novel regulatory circuits that contribute to the complexity of cancer biology. This review unravels a previously unexplored dimension of carcinogenesis, emphasizing the crucial role of circRNAs in shaping the TGF-β signalling landscape.

Abstract Background Osteoporosis is a crucial health concern interconnected with physical disabilities as well as financial burdens. It arises from an imbalance between osteoblasts and osteoclasts, provoking the reduction of bone mass and the disturbances in bone structure with high fracture risk. Considerable efforts were done to prevent and mitigate this public health issue. Nonetheless, further understanding of the etiopathology of osteoporosis and the underlying genetic and epigenetic pathways is required. Main body Emerging evidence indicates that noncoding RNAs, including long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) and circular RNAs (circRNAs), play crucial roles as epigenetic regulators in various pathological processes, including osteoporosis. LncRNAs are RNA transcripts with higher structural complexity that are developed owing to their secondary and tertiary structures, which allow them to create different binding sites for other biomolecules, such as DNA, RNA, and proteins. Another class of noncoding RNAs is circRNAs, which have a covalently closed loop structure without the 5′ cap and 3′ polyA tail and are formed by back-splicing of pre-mRNAs. Because of their closed structure, circRNAs are largely stable, resistant to RNA-degrading nucleases, and possess substantially longer circulatory half-lives than linear RNAs. Interestingly, both lncRNAs and circRNAs serve as competing endogenous RNAs by sponging multiple miRNA binding sites as well as interact with RNA-binding proteins (RBPs), thereby controlling the expression of their target genes. Several studies indicated that altered expression of these regulators could influence many biological processes in bone cells. Conclusion The current review provides current opinions on the role and the underlying mechanisms by which lncRNAs and circRNAs affect osteoblastic and osteoclastic activities. The deep understanding of these noncoding RNAs in osteoporosis offers distinctive avenues for innovative treatment strategies.

Cancer, including gastric cancer, has become a serious disease that jeopardizes public life. Currently, the main treatment methods are surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy. One of the primary causes of death for patients with gastric cancer is drug resistance. Several mechanisms of anticancer drugs resistance have been reported, including changes in drugs transport and metabolism, mutations in drug targets, changes in DNA repair systems, inhibition of cell apoptosis and autophagy, gastric cancer stem cells, invasion and migration. It is becoming more widely known that non-coding RNAs, like circRNAs, play a critical role in the resistance of drugs used to treat gastric cancer. CircRNAs have a unique structure and function that is related to gastric cancer resistance, cell proliferation, apoptosis, autophagy, DNA repair systems, migration, and invasion. A clear understanding of the molecular mechanism of circRNAs mediated the resistance of gastric cancer drugs will open a new window for the treatment and management of gastric cancer. Therefore, in this review, we will summarize the current mechanism of drug resistance, and finally discuss the molecular mechanism of circRNAs in regulating the development of drug resistance in gastric cancer.

The successful pulmonary metastasis of malignant cancer cells depends on the survival of circulating tumor cells in a distant and hostile microenvironment. The formation of a pre-metastatic niche (PMN) creates a supportive environment for subsequent metastasis. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are increasingly acknowledged as crucial elements in the mechanisms of metastasis due to their stable structures and functions, making them promising early metastasis detection markers. However, the specific expression patterns and roles of circRNAs in the lungs before metastasis remain largely unexplored. Our research aims to chart the circRNA expression profile and assess their impact on the lung PMN. We developed a lung PMN model and employed comprehensive RNA sequencing to analyze the differences in circRNA expression between normal and pre-metastatic lungs. We identified 38 significantly different circRNAs, primarily involved in metabolism, apoptosis, and inflammation pathways. We then focused on one specific circRNA, circ:chr4:150406196 – 150406664 (circRERE-PMN), which exhibited a significant change in expression and was prevalent in myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs), alveolar epithelial cells, and macrophages within the pre-metastatic lung environment. CircRERE-PMN was found to potentially regulate apoptosis and the expression of cytokines and chemokines through its interaction with the downstream target HUR in alveolar epithelial cells. Overall, our study highlights the crucial role of circRNAs in the formation of lung PMNs, supporting their potential as diagnostic or therapeutic targets for lung metastasis.

Abstract Background Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is a serious cardiovascular disease that adversely affects human health. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are involved in the pathological and physiological processes of AMI, but the biological mechanism of their involvement and their clinical significance remain unknown. We aimed to identify circRNAs that are significantly associated with morbidity in the peripheral blood of patients with AMI and evaluate their diagnostic utility. Methods High-throughput sequencing was used to screen for differentially expressed circRNAs in peripheral blood samples obtained from five patients with AMI and five sex- and age-matched healthy controls. A series of bioinformatics tools and databases were used to determine the biological functional classification and pathway enrichment of the circRNAs based on data obtained from sequencing. A hypoxia model was established and used to evaluate the effect of hypoxia on circRNA expression in human cardiomyocytes. A cytoplasmic separation assay and enzyme resistance assay were employed to identify the biological characteristics of circRNA. Polymerase chain reaction validity testing and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis were used to evaluate the utility of circRNA assessments in the diagnosis of AMI. Results A large number of circRNAs were found to be differentially expressed in the peripheral blood of patients with AMI, and significantly more of these circRNAs were highly expressed than lowly expressed. The genes encoding these circRNAs have a wide range of effects on various functions in the body. A hypoxic environment promoted the upregulation of circRNA expression in human cardiomyocytes, and hsa_circ_0116795 encoded by PPARA was highly expressed in the peripheral blood of the patients with AMI. In terms of biological characteristics, under physiological conditions, hsa_circ_0116795 (circ_PPARA) was mainly located in the cytoplasm of cardiomyocytes and found to be resistant to exonuclease. The ROC curve analysis showed that the expression levels of circ_PPARA in the peripheral blood of patients with AMI were significantly different from those in the peripheral blood of healthy controls. Conclusion A large number of abnormally expressed circRNAs are detectable in the peripheral blood of patients with AMI. In particular, circ_PPARA is highly expressed in human myocardial cells under hypoxic conditions, and its biological characteristics indicate that it could be employed as a biomarker for the early diagnosis of AMI.

IntroductionMiddle ear cholesteatoma is a chronic middle ear disease characterized by severe hearing loss and adjacent bone erosion, resulting in numerous complications. This study sought to identify pathways involved in N6-methyladenosine (m6A) modification of circRNA in middle ear cholesteatoma.MethodsA m6A circRNA epitranscriptomic microarray analysis was performed in middle ear cholesteatoma tissues (n = 5) and normal post-auricular skin samples (n = 5). Bioinformatics analyses subsequently explored the biological functions (Gene Ontology, GO) and signaling pathways (Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes, KEGG) underlying middle ear cholesteatoma pathogenesis. Methylated RNA immunoprecipitation qPCR (MeRIP-qPCR) was performed to verify the presence of circRNAs with m6A modifications in middle ear cholesteatoma and normal skin samples.ResultsMicroarray analysis identified 3,755 circRNAs as significantly differentially modified by m6A methylation in middle ear cholesteatoma compared with the normal post-auricular skin. Among these, 3,742 were hypermethylated (FC ≥ 2, FDR < 0.05) and 13 were hypomethylated (FC ≤ 1/2, FDR < 0.05). GO analysis terms with the highest enrichment score were localization, cytoplasm, and ATP-dependent activity for biological processes, cellular components, and molecular functions respectively. Of the eight hypermethylated circRNA pathways, RNA degradation pathway has the highest enrichment score. Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptor (PPAR) signaling pathway was hypomethylated. To validate the microarray analysis, we conducted MeRIP-qPCR to assess the methylation levels of five specific m6A-modified circRNAs: hsa_circRNA_061554, hsa_circRNA_001454, hsa_circRNA_031526, hsa_circRNA_100833, and hsa_circRNA_022382. The validation was highly consistent with the findings from the microarray analysis.ConclusionOur study firstly presents m6A modification patterns of circRNAs in middle ear cholesteatoma. This finding suggests a direction for circRNA m6A modification research in the etiology of cholesteatoma and provides potential therapeutic targets for the treatment of middle ear cholesteatoma.

Cervical Cancer (CC) is one of the most prevalent neoplasms among women, considered the leading cause of gynecological death worldwide, and the fourth most common type of cancer. Regional metastasis is closely related to the low effectiveness of treatment, and validating biomarkers can optimize accuracy in diagnosis and prognosis. Among the potential biomarkers associated with disease metastasis are circular RNAs (circRNAs), whose altered expression has been linked to CC progression. In this context, this systematic review aims to compile information on the clinical-pathological significance and describe the biological function of circRNAs. Inclusion and exclusion criteria were used to include relevant literature, followed by in silico analysis. Additionally, we employed the UALCAN tools to search for host genes of circRNAs and expression data, miRTargetLink 2.0 to predict interactions of microRNA target genes and the Cytoscape software to predict possible interactions of microRNA target genes. According to the research, most circRNAs were found to be overexpressed and described as regulators of processes such as invasion, cell proliferation, apoptosis and migration. They were also implicated in clinical significance, including metastasis, TNM staging and microRNA interactions. CircRNAs may participate in critical processes in tumorigenesis; therefore, understanding the underlying molecular mechanisms of gene regulation in CC can contribute to the accuracy of diagnosis, prognosis and therapy.

Abstract Background Lung cancer is a leading cause of cancer-related death worldwide. Among various histological types of lung cancer, majority are non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) which account for > 80%. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are widely expressed in various cancers including lung cancer and implicated in tumourigenesis and cancer progression. This study aimed to systematically evaluate the prognostic values of circRNAs in lung cancer. Methods A systematic literature search was done in PubMed, Embase, and MEDLINE databases to select the eligible studies which reported the association between the expression of circRNAs and overall survival (OS) or disease-free survival (DFS) in histopathologically diagnosed lung cancer patients. The pooled hazard ratio (HR) and 95% confidence interval (CI) were assessed to determine the prognostic significance of circRNAs. Results A total of 43 studies were eligible for this meta-analysis (MA). 39 different types of circRNAs were reported: 28 showing upregulating and 11 showing downregulating action in lung cancer. Circular RNA (circRNA) is a type of non-coding RNA with multiple biological functions. Whole circRNA genomes in plants have been identified, and circRNAs have been demonstrated to be widely present and highly expressed in various plant tissues and organs. CircRNAs are highly stable and conserved in plants, and exhibit tissue specificity and developmental stage specificity. CircRNAs often interact with other biomolecules, such as miRNAs and proteins, thereby regulating gene expression, interfering with gene function, and affecting plant growth and development or response to environmental stress. CircRNAs are less studied in plants than in animals, and their regulatory mechanisms of biogenesis and molecular functions are not fully understood. A variety of circRNAs in plants are involved in regulating growth and development and responding to environmental stress. This review focuses on the biogenesis and regulatory mechanisms of circRNAs, as well as their biological functions during growth, development, and stress responses in plants, including a discussion of plant circRNA research prospects. Understanding the generation and regulatory mechanisms of circRNAs is a challenging but important topic in the field of circRNAs in plants, as it can provide insights into plant life activities and their response mechanisms to biotic or abiotic stresses as well as new strategies for plant molecular breeding and pest control.

Abstract Circular RNAs (circRNAs) as biomarkers for cancer detection have been extensively explored, however, the biogenesis mechanism is still elusive. In contrast to linear splicing (LS) involved in linear transcript formation, the so-called back splicing (BS) process has been proposed to explain circRNA formation. To investigate the potential mechanism of BS via the machine learning approach, we curated a high-quality BS and LS exon pairs dataset with evidence-based stringent filtering. Two convolutional neural networks (CNN) base models with different structures for processing splicing junction sequences including motif extraction were created and compared after extensive hyperparameter tuning. In contrast to the previous study, we are able to identify motifs corresponding to well-established BS-associated genes such as MBNL1, QKI, and ESPR2. Importantly, despite prevalent high false positive rates in existing circRNA detection pipelines and databases, our base models demonstrated a notable high specificity (greater than 90%). To further improve the model performance, a novo fast numerical method was proposed and implemented to calculate the reverse complementary matches (RCMs) crossing two flanking regions and within each flanking region of exon pairs. Our CircCNNs framework that incorporated RCM information into the optimal base models further reduced the false positive rates leading to 88% prediction accuracy.

N6-methyladenosine (m6A) modification is a prevalent modification of messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) in eukaryote cells and is closely associated with recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL). Circular RNAs (circRNAs) play critical roles in embryo implantation, trophoblast invasion and immune balance, which are important events during pregnancy. However, how m6A modification is regulated by circRNAs and the potential regulatory mechanism of circRNAs on RPL occurrence remain largely unclassified. We displayed the expression profiles of circRNAs and mRNAs in the decidua of normal pregnancies and RPL patients based on circRNA sequencing and the Gene Expression Omnibus database. A total of 936 differentially expressed circRNAs were identified, including 509 upregulated and 427 downregulated circRNAs. Differentially expressed circRNAs were enriched in immune, metabolism, signaling and other related pathways via the analysis of Gene Ontology (GO) and the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway. The competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) network was predicted to supply the possible role of circRNAs in RPL occurrence, and we further analyzed the profiles of nine m6A regulators (seven readers, one writer and one eraser) managed by circRNAs in this network. We also showed the expression profiles of circRNAs in the serum, trying to seek a potential biomarker to help in the diagnosis of RPL. These data imply that circRNAs are involved in pathogenesis of RPL by changing immune activities, metabolism and m6A modification in the ceRNA network. Our study might provide assistance in exploring the pathogenesis and diagnosis of RPL.

Abstract Objectives Primary blast lung injury (PBLI) is the main cause of death in blast injury patients, and is often ignored due to the absence of a specific diagnosis. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are becoming recognized as new regulators of various diseases, but the role of circRNAs in PBLI remain largely unknown. This study aimed to investigate PBLI-related circRNAs and their probable roles as new regulators in PBLI in order to provide new ideas for PBLI diagnosis and treatment. Methods The differentially expressed (DE) circRNA and mRNA profiles were screened by transcriptome high-throughput sequencing and validated by quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR). The GO and KEGG pathway enrichment was used to investigate the potential function of DE mRNAs. The interactions between proteins were analyzed using the STRING database and hub genes were identified using the MCODE plugin. Then, Cytoscape software was used to illustrate the circRNA-miRNA-hub gene network. Results A total of 117 circRNAs and 681 mRNAs were aberrantly expressed in PBLI, including 64 up-regulated and 53 down-regulated circRNAs, and 315 up-regulated and 366 down-regulated mRNAs. GO and KEGG analysis revealed that the DE mRNAs might be involved in the TNF signaling pathway and Fanconi anemia pathway. Hub genes, including Cenpf, Ndc80, Cdk1, Aurkb, Ttk, Aspm, Ccnb1, Kif11, Bub1 and Top2a, were obtained using the MCODE plugin. The network consist of 6 circRNAs (chr18:21008725–21020999 + , chr4:44893533–44895989 + , chr4:56899026–56910247-, chr5:123709382–123719528-, chr9:108528589–108544977 + and chr15:93452117–93465245 +), 7 miRNAs (mmu-miR-3058-5p, mmu-miR-3063-5p, mmu-miR-668-5p, mmu-miR-7038-3p, mmu-miR-761, mmu-miR-7673-5p and mmu-miR-9-5p) and 6 mRNAs (Aspm, Aurkb, Bub1, Cdk1, Cenpf and Top2a). Conclusions This study examined a circRNA-miRNA-hub gene regulatory network associated with PBLI and explored the potential functions of circRNAs in the network for the first time. Six circRNAs in the circRNA-miRNA-hub gene regulatory network, including chr18:21008725–21020999 + , chr4:44893533–44895989 + , chr4:56899026–56910247-, chr5:123709382–123719528-, chr9:108528589–108544977 + and chr15:93452117–93465245 + may play an essential role in PBLI.
