In order to find the optimal photocatalytic conditions for nano - TiO2, the Fe3+ - doped nano - TiO2 powder was prepared by sol - gel method using butyl titanate as raw material. Its composition was determined by XRD. Its photocatalytic properties were examined by UV - Vis, and the effect of external conditions including light intensity, pH value and surrounding temperature was disscused. Results indicate that in a certain range, the photocatalytic activity is enhanced with the increased light intensity, and the highest photocatalytic activity is achieved when pH = 4, while the ambient temperature has little effect on photocatalytic reaction. As a representative medicinal plant in the Orchidaceae, Bletilla striata plays a variety of pharmacological roles in the clinic. However, the emergence of counterfeit species is affecting the basic medicinal materials source identification process, for which Bletilla ochracea and Oreorchis foliosa of the Orchidaceae are two representative species. For this study, 13 representative B. striata samples, three B. ochracea samples and three O. foliosa samples were selected for the systematic determination of polysaccharide yields and monosaccharide composition, and further detection of secondary metabolites by HPLC–MS. The results revealed that there was a significant difference in the yields of polysaccharides between B. striata and B. ochracea (p = 0.006). Although the polysaccharides of both species were composed of glucose and mannose, the molar ratio of the two monosaccharides was different, suggesting that the structures of the polysaccharides were different. The metabolomics results showed that there were no differences in the types of metabolites between B. striata and B. ochracea; however, there were differences in the contents of these metabolites. Although there was no significant difference in the polysaccharide yields of B. striata and O. foliosa (p = 0.074) and the monosaccharide composition was the same (glucose and mannose), many different metabolites were screened out between them: six compounds such as C36H34O11 existed only in B. striata, while substance C39H54O22 was unique to O. foliosa. Therefore, based on the analysis of the polysaccharide content and monosaccharide composition, combined with phase metabolomics research, a preliminary distinction between B. striata, B. ochracea and O. foliosa was achieved. Challenges remain for clinicians over balancing the efficacy of active antithrombotic therapy and simultaneous bleeding reduction in patients. The clinical data of 347 patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) were retrospectively analyzed. On the basis of the given tirofiban, the patients were assigned into three different dose groups: high dose group (group H), medium dose group (group M), and low dose group (group L). The tirofiban efficacy was evaluated in terms of major adverse cardiovascular event (MACE) parameters and lab endpoints, including platelet count and function. The tirofiban safety was assessed by the occurrence of bleeding events. The patients were followed up for 1 month after the PCI. No significant difference in MACE events was evident among these groups (p > 0.05). Groups H and M reported an obvious reduction in platelet count (p < 0.05 for both) and an increased platelet inhibition rate (p < 0.05 for both). Group H showed a higher rate of total bleeding events than the other groups (Group H vs. Group M: 34.4% vs. 16.5%; Group H vs. Group L: 34.4% vs. 10.3%; p < 0.05 for both). A proper administration of a low dose of tirofiban may be a superior alternative in treating ACS patients, which can produce a similar favorable clinical outcome and a decrease in bleeding complication. We use a sample of 39 galaxy clusters at redshift z < 0.1 observed by XMM-Newton to investigate the relations between X-ray observables and total mass. Based on central cooling time and central temperature drop, the clusters in this sample are divided into two groups: 25 cool core clusters and 14 non-cool core clusters, respectively. We study the scaling relations of Lbol-M500, M500-T, M500-Mg, and M500-YX, and also the influences of cool core on these relations. The results show that the M500-YX relation has a slope close to the standard self-similar value, has the smallest scatter and does not vary with the cluster sample. Moreover, the M500-YX relation is not affected by the cool core. Thus, the parameter of YX may be the best mass indicator. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

With the massive growth of the seismic data, it is required a new method to manage them. In this paper, the design method will be reported about relational database based on tree structure. Comparing with other designs, it is not only simpler and easier to organize data, but also can simplify the design process of the database. This method has been used to design database of the earthquake monitor center station of the earthquake monitoring system for the Yangtze River Three Gorges Project and has shown good results.
