To summarise the development, hot topics, and future trends in TDF-related research and provide implementation practitioners with more information on the application of TDF. Methods: We used TDF as the topic and searched the ISI Web of Science Core Collection, identifying 1382 relevant publications. We used analytical tools such as Excel, Tableau, VOSviewer, and Citespace to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the relevant publication. Results: We identified the United Kingdom as the primary contributor, with University College London as the key institution. Susan Michie ranked highest in total citations. The analysis highlighted cancer and stroke as primary clinic medicine-related topics using TDF. Emerging themes encompass abuse, violence, maternal health, antenatal care, patient involvement, and trauma-informed care et al. "Nurse" and "qualitative research" emerged as recent and enduring hotspots, possibly indicating future research trends. Conclusion: This article represents the first attempt to summarise the TDF using bibliometric analysis. We suggest this method can be used to analyse other theoretical frameworks in scientific implementation of its objectivity and quantifiability. Overall, the application scope of TDF is shifting from public health towards more specialised clinical directions, although its application in the field of public health is continuously expanding. Objective  This study sought to assess whether infants exposed to chorioamnionitis are the optimal population to benefit the most from early postnatal hydrocortisone delivery in preventing bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD). This meta-analysis was conducted to discover the efficacy of hydrocortisone in preterm infants with and without chorioamnionitis. Study Design  From the earliest available date until March 2018, studies, review articles, and papers published in PubMed, Ovid, and Web of Science were reviewed. Randomized controlled trials comparing hydrocortisone with placebo/no intervention in preterm infants with a known status of chorioamnionitis exposure were included. Results  Early postpartum low-dose hydrocortisone prevents the combined outcome of neonatal BPD or death in infants weighing less than 1,000 g with chorioamnionitis exposure (odds ratio [95% confidence interval]: 0.52 [0.32–0.79]; risk difference: –0.15 [–0.24 to –0.06]; number needed to treat: 6 [4–16]) but not in infants without chorioamnionitis exposure. Further secondary analysis showed no significant difference between the hydrocortisone group and the placebo group in individual outcomes of BPD or death, regardless of infant exposure to chorioamnionitis. Conclusion  Early application of low-dose hydrocortisone could potentially prevent BPD or death in infants weighing less than 1,000 g with exposure to chorioamnionitis. Bioretention is widely used in urban sustainable stormwater management; however, limited numerical research has been conducted on its performance in cold regions, particularly for winter snowmelt, spring runoff and summer large storms (>50 mm) for urban flood mitigation. In this study, HYDRUS 1D was used to explore these knowledge gaps. The model was comprehensively calibrated and validated against 2‐year hydrologic and water quality data of four bioretention columns with different designs under lab‐simulated cold region conditions. The Morris method was used to measure the sensitivity and interaction of the calibrated hydraulic parameters. The model revealed that the effective hydraulic conductivity (KS) values of the soil media were similar for winter snowmelt and spring runoff when the soil temperature was around −0.5°C. Preferential flow is likely to occur in soil media during winter or spring in cold regions. The summer modelling showed that bioretention could substantially reduce peak flow, ponding depth and duration for large storm events (even for a 1:100 local storm with 83.4 mm in 4 h). The water quality modelling confirmed experimental results that the bioretention effectively removed phosphate and ammonium but had leaching issues for chloride and nitrate.
