Agriculture is one of the essential sources of occupation and revenue in India. Conferring to existing statistics, most agriculturalists are facing severe losses due to poor farming yield. Farming activities are challenged by various environmental factors that affect agricultural productivity to a greater extent. The present farming situation is above the average of the process involves more biochemical bases for managing the diseases and other destructing facts. The foremost problems they are facing in day-to-day farming tasks are crop or plant diseases affecting productivity. Also, the growth of weeds along with field crops has been another challenge. The technology has developed to rectify the problems using some machine learning algorithms like Random Forest algorithms, Decision trees, Naïve Bayes, KNN, K-Means clustering, Support vector machines. The result has been evaluated and observed through the performance evaluation metrics using confusion matrix, accuracy, precision, Sensitivity, specificity with the observations, research, and studies. The statistics have expressed the overall accuracy of 98% by achieving the detection of diseases in plants and by removing the weeds that ruin the growth of plants.

This paper presents a comprehensive examination of the thermoluminescence properties of BaMgAl10O17: Ce (BAM: Ce) phosphors, which were synthesized via the combustion method. The study employs five distinct approaches to determine the kinetic parameters for individual traps. To investigate the structural, morphological, and elemental composition of the samples, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy were utilized. The photoluminescence spectra revealed a broad emission centered around 420 nm upon 330 nm excitation. By subjecting the phosphors to γ doses ranging from 5 to 5 kGy and conducting TL glow curve analysis, the kinetic characteristics of the BAM: Ce phosphors were determined. The linear dose–response was observed for 5–50 Gy, indicating a high sensitivity value. Additionally, there is a consistent estimation of trap energy across various methods. It is also worth noting that the phosphor exhibits a very low minimum detectable dose, estimated to be in the microgray range, making BAM: Ce a strong candidate for low gamma dosimetry applications. A novel glass system B2O3–SiO2–Bi2O3–TeO2–BaO–ZnO doped with Eu2O3 (x = 0–4 mol%) is fabricated through melt-quench technique and coded as BiTeEu-x. Density and refractive index measurements done on the glasses resulted in the increase up to 5.4377 gcm−3 and 1.99, respectively, for 4 mol% addition of Eu2O3. Vickers micro-indentation measurements done on synthesized glasses gave increasing microhardness values with Eu3+ doping due to higher bond strength of Eu–O bond compared to Te–O bond. The Phy-X/PSD simulation software utilized for obtaining radiation shielding parameters produced highest range of mass attenuation coefficient (63.878–0.036 cm2/g) and lowest range of half-value layer (0.002–3.551 cm) for the same glass proving its superiority in radiation attenuating capacity. This article addresses the theoretical analysis of photon buildup occurring inside the fabricated glasses in 0.015–15 MeV energy range with respect to different penetration depths. Neutron shielding ability of BiTeEu-4 glass was found to be impressive with fast neutron removal cross section (FNR) value of 0.10362 cm−1. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The glass system of B2O3-SiO2-TeO2-Bi2O3-ZnO-BaO doped with Gd2O3 (x = 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 mol%) (BiTeGd-x) was prepared by using the melt-quench technique. The density of glasses increased from 5.323–5.579 g cm−3 for 0–4 mol% with an increase in Gd2O3 concentration. The simulation results obtained using Photon Shielding and Dosimetry (PSD) software (Phy-X version) produced the maximum mass attenuation coefficient (MAC) and minimum half-value layer (HVL) in the entire photon energy spectrum 0.015–15 MeV, suggesting the highest potential of BiTeGd-4 glass to act as a shield against low and high-energy radiation photons.

Bi2O3–PbO–CdO–B2O3 glass samples were prepared via melt quenching. The substitution of Bi2O3 for B2O3 resulted in a continuous increase in density from 4.334 to 5.742 g/cm3. The molar volume (V m) gradually increased from 37.197 to 38.429 cm3/mol when the Bi2O3 level increased from 10 to 25 mol%. With the addition of Bi2O3 from 10 to 25 mol%, Young’s, bulk, shear, and longitudinal modulus reduced from 40.80 to 35.07 GPa, 22.92 to 19.97 GPa, 16.95 to 14.52 GPa, and 45.53 to 39.33 GPa, respectively. These glasses are bendable rather than elongated and can withstand longitudinal stress over shear stress. Radiation protection qualities were investigated using EpiXS software, which is based on the ENDF/B-VIII EPICS2017 library, between 122 and 1275 keV. The mass attenuation coefficients are substantially higher at low energies. The radiation shielding properties of Bi2O3–PbO–CdO–B2O3 glasses were improved by replacing B2O3 with Bi2O3. Quantifying this improvement is critical in developing compact radiation shielding employing this glass system.

We experimentally investigated the effect of TeO2 on the radiation-shielding competence of a BaO–MoO3–B2O3 glass system. Two gamma-ray sources (137Cs and 166Ho) and a scintillator detector (sodium iodide (NaI(Tl)) were utilized to measure the attenuation factors of the prepared glass at 0.184, 0.280, 0.662, 0.710, and 0.810 MeV. The measured mass attenuation coefficient agreed well with the theoretically calculated values for all the prepared samples. The linear attenuation coefficient (LAC) results demonstrated that as the photon energy increased, the penetrating ability of the photons through the glass increased. The LAC values of boro-tellurite glass at 662 keV were compared with those of other tellurite glass. We found that MTB1 glass produced better attenuation results than 10Li2O–20K2O–50B2O3–20TeO2 glass, whereas MTB5 glass with 70 mol% TeO2 had an LAC value greater than that of 90.4TeO2-9.6ZnO–4NiO glass. The half-value layer (HVL) increased continuously with photon energy. For MTB1 glass, the HVL increased from 0.3609 cm at 184 keV to 1.6078 cm at 662 keV and 1.8381 cm at 810 keV. The lowest set of HVL values was observed for MTB5 glass, which confirmed its superior attenuation properties compared to other compositions. The transmission factor (TF) was also calculated; MTB5 glass had the lowest TF values, which revealed that MTB5 provided the best shield. For glass with a thickness of 1 cm, the TF was 75.8% for MTB1, 72.8% for MTB2, 70.6% for MTB3, 68.8% for MTB4, and 63.4% for MTB5.

In this study, four tellurite–germanate glasses containing zinc, lithium, and bismuth with varied Bi2O3 and TeO2 amounts were investigated. The mechanical qualities of sample glasses were investigated and associated with their structural properties. Furthermore, the radiation-shielding capabilities of N1–N4 glasses were evaluated at 0.662 MeV using EPICS2017. The radiation-shielding characteristics were compared with the radiation-shielding parameters published in the literature for various glass systems. When TeO2 was replaced with Bi2O3, Young’s and bulk moduli of the material decreased. The L values of glasses were higher than their S values (14–13 GPa), indicating that they can tolerate longitudinal stress better than shear stress and can be bent rather than elongated readily. The MACs calculated were comparable to those obtained using WinXcom. The tenth-value layer (TVL) of all of the sample glasses was higher than that of the bismuth aluminosilicate glasses. All of the borate glass systems containing bismuth, sodium, and antimony had lower TVLs than N1–N3 glasses. The half-value layer was more in the N4 glass with the greatest Bi2O3 content than those in 50 and 60 mol% PbO-containing strontium borate glasses.
