Based on the Ising model, using the Monte Carlo method, we examine the magnetic and thermodynamic characteristics of a ferrimagnetic hexagonal nanowire with spin-5/2 and spin-7/2 of alternate layer structure under external and longitudinal crystal magnetic fields, in particular the physical effect of the external magnetic field on compensation behavior. Moreover, the phase diagrams in the ( T , D / J s ), ( T , J int / J s ), and ( T , J σ / J s) planes have been detailed. Consequently, we have obtained single and double compensation temperatures for the determined longitudinal crystal and external field parameters. The magnetizations of type-N, type-Q, and type-M have been found for certain parameter values in our system. This research was compared with other theoretical and experimental findings. In this work, the Monte Carlo simulation based on the heat bath algorithm is used to study the phase diagrams of a ferrimagnetic square nanowire with core/shell structure. We examined the ground-state phase diagrams of the square nanowire that were determined for various parameters. The resulting diagrams are very rich, and they also display all of the most stable configurations; furthermore, we have studied the effect of the crystal fields and exchange interactions on the critical and compensation behaviors ( T c and T comp ) of the system. The magnetization profiles ( M T , M s and M c ), susceptibility χ T , internal energy E T and specific heat C v as a function of the temperature are investigated. Moreover, by varying the system parameters, the phase diagrams of the square nanowire are studied in detail. It is found that the system presents rich phase transitions such as the second-and first-order phase transitions, as well as well as the compensation and tricritical points. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this work, the magnetic properties and the magnetic hysteresis behavior of the C a C u 3 M n 2 O s 2 O 12 quadruple perovskite with ferrimagnetic mixed-spin (1/2, 2, 3/2) Ising spin configuration under the influence of different physical factors such as exchange coupling, crystal field and temperature have been studied by using Monte Carlo simulation. The ground-state phase diagrams were numerically calculated to determine the stable phases. Particular emphasis is given to the effects of the exchange interaction J Mn - Mn and the single-ion anisotropy strength D Mn , of the sublattice with larger spin, on the critical and the compensation phenomenon. The thermal partial–total magnetizations and their change have been obtained. Some interesting behaviors have been observed which include the first- and second-order phase transitions. The isolated critical points are also observed. The magnetic hysteresis loops are discussed and a triple hysteresis loops have been observed for appropriate values of the system parameters. Then, the thermal behaviors of the coercivity and the remanent magnetization are also elaborated and investigated. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
