The Applanix POS/LV platform in cinematic laser scanner applications On the 11th of march the GEOmedia editorial unit had the pleasure of hosting a technical meeting dedicated to the Applanix LANDMark new Position and Orientation System for Land Vehicles (POS/LV) field test. The meeting, which is part of an italian tour organized by Louis Nastro (Applanix Director of Land Products) and Terenzio Mariani (Sales manager for Italy), helped to test the functionalities of a complete POS/LV system equipped with a laser and an imaging acquisition software installed on board of a SUV.

In this paper, after analyzing the VAR model, we design the Gram causality test between human resource management and enterprise performance and establish a structural equation combining multiple regression and factor analysis to explore the interrelationship between the two, in addition to evaluating enterprise performance based on mutation theory. In order to study the relationship between human resource management and enterprise performance, assumptions are made about the relationship between the two, a conceptual model of the role path relationship between human resource management and enterprise performance is established, and the proposed assumptions are empirically analyzed based on the existing literature and actual data. The results show that the coefficient of HR practices is 10.048343, which is significant at the 0.0031 level, and the goodness of fit is 0.403881, and HR practices do have a relatively significant impact on business performance, and the marginal impact is 10.048343, which indicates that HR practices significantly amplify business performance. This study confirms that human resource management is positively correlated with firm performance and that firms can optimize their human resource management strategies, which in turn will enhance their performance and provide impetus for their progress and development.

Three new species of genus Scorpiops Peters, 1861 are described from Tibet Autonomous Region, China. S. deshpandei sp. n. is described based on an adult male and an immature pair collected from Mêdog County, Nyingchi, with additional molecular evidence substantiating its validity against S. longimanus Pocock, 1893. S. kovariki sp. n. is featured by a single adult female from Zayü. This species is only weakly supported by its genetic distance from S. jendeki Kovařík, 1994, but empirical understanding of the morphological variation in Scorpiops species motivated us to consider them as distinct. S. matthewi sp. n. is based on three adult females, all collected from Xigazê. Its species delineation is based solely on morphological characteristics due to the lack of material of its morphological relative (S. rufus Lv & Di, 2023). New specimens of S. margerisonae Kovařík, 2000 are obtained from Nyêmo, Lhasa, and compared with S. wrzecionkoi Kovařík, 2020. A new term, "ocular islet", is introduced to portray the periocular morphology of Scorpiops median ocelli, categorized into four preliminary types. Finally, a comparative matrix summarizing the quantitative and qualitative diagnostic characters of Tibetan Scorpiops species based on preceding publications is provided. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Determining whether the Green Finance Reform and Innovation Pilot Zone (GFRI) promotes the green investment (GI) of enterprises is practically important for China to achieve the "double carbon" goal early. This study examines the effect of GFRI on GI by the relevant data of listed heavily polluting enterprises in China from 2011 to 2020 and a difference-in-difference model. The results show that GFRI improves the GI of enterprises, and GFRI can enhance GI by promoting reputational costs and loan scale. The improvement effect is also more significant for state-owned enterprises, enterprises with high financing constraints, enterprises in regions with high environmental regulation intensity, and enterprises with executives' financial backgrounds. The improvement in GI can further enhance the value of enterprises after the implementation of GFRI. The study provides a direct answer to the key question of whether the GFRI can actually support high-quality economic development. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
